Ashley came to this hide out, known only to the few that had pirate blood, or were close to pirates, or better yet, pirates themselves. Ashley was great freinds with many of the good pirate captains, and they greatly respected each other for there abilty to live on and off the sea.
One pirate captain, who trusted and greatly respect Ashley left in her possesion the peice of a treasure map, the last peice that with the map could lead to one of the greatest treasures known to man. He placed it in her hand before leaving to raid a ship, he never came back. For her own protection Ashley kept her knowladge and peice of the map a secret, though stayed freinds with a few of the pirate captains. One of which she was meeting now.
Ashley stood waiting for Captain Black, a handsome man with scars to show his great adventures, he and his crew was one day exploring the lands of Arda and came across dancing nymphs, he demanded to speak to their leader, Ashley. From that moment on they became great freinds and allies in war. And now another war was in full swing, the war of light versus dark. It came time for them to discuss there standing in the war and how they could help each other.

A great ship approached the harbor. Soon the hull was at bay and pirates began to climb down the ship in one of the most routy maners she had ever seen. This made Ashley laugh. The captain strode to Ashley and bowed kissing her hand before smiling and laughing with her. "Come." He said guiding her onto the ship.

When aboard the ship they brought out a selection of swords, all beautiful in their own ways. The captain motioned for her to choose one.
"Each man or woman fits to a sword, the trick is to find the right one." He said. "We are in a war, you must learn how to defend yourself. We do not belive that the nymph kind will be hit hard like our own, but it never hurts to be prepared."
Ashley first lifted the heavy broad sword, it felt heavy and unmoveable. She discarded that one and continued onto the long sword, it was light enough, but too long to manuver properly. Ashley then lifted the short sword, a decent weight and lenght, she smiled. "I think I have found the one."
The captain smiled. "We'll see."

Ashley and the Captain stoon alone on an abandoned area of the pirate hide out, just the two of them, sword to sword. He attacked, hse blocked, this went on for some time before the Captain managed a blow to her stomach, she stood uninjured for she had hopped backwards in a very girly manar to avoid the sword. The Captain laughed and boarded his ship fetching someone else to fight her, she watched him walk away.

It was then that she felt the sharp blade of a sowrd into her back, though she knew none of the other pirates had left the safe haven of the ship. She must now learn how to fight for herslef she realized. She whipped her light body arround and heard the sound of metel on metal.

His sword was met by hers. She struck back, and he hit her sword from the bottom, throwing it into the air, then catching it. It's hilt was common, the sword very light, much lighter than his. The girl looked a little distressed, and she looked, pure. The fake little witch. He dispised those who hide beind closed doors, who only speak in a different tounge, naught of their own words. Your words are what makes you different, your words alone. You will often find that the captain tends to be.... gentler to the ladies, you see. he spoke slowly, with a sly grin on his face, as always. Shadowfox saw the girl, she would stumble into battle, thinking she was ready, so foolishly, holding her light, non-threatening sword, and she wouuld die when the first sword is draw. She needed to know the way of a sword. He did not know why he suddenly had a soft spot for this girl, but he wanted to help her, and so he decided. He hadn't stayed with the pirates very long, but they were...[I]aqquainted[\I], you might say. He knew he would be gone by the next night, so he wanted the girl to learn how to use a sword. He had a hat quite similar to the captain's hat, but the captain didn't mind, he was tall, and he smelled of a pirate. He didn't like the taste, however, of rum. He wasn't a friend of alchohol, it takes its victims, and he knew how hard it is to escape. He realized he must look like a fool, standing there, perhaps grinning, he wasn't aware, holding the two swords. He stuck her sword into the wood of the ship and started to walk out. He could return later for the money, anyway.

You will often find that the captain tends to be.... gentler to the ladies, you see.

The man standing before Ashley with her sword in her hand was smiling, a grin of michceif that Ashley couldnt help but love. He began to walk out of the ship examaning her sword. He stabbed the ship with her sword, its blade run into the splintering wood, yet still shining in the sun.

Ashley assumed he would think her weak. But she was far from it, her mental strenght was her strong point, not necisssarily her phlysical strenght, but she was willing to learn. She stood with her hands on her hips as he talked to her. She then went to retreive her sword out of the wood, she placed a boot on the boat and pulled it out. She walked back down onto firm ground.

Ashley smiled in the same wicked mannar. "And I suppose you will teach me? And as for the captin I'm sure he would be because he is a gentleman. How about this: If you can beat me, the other nymphs and I will dance just for you." To have nymphs dance for one person was indeed a privilage that they would not give up easily. And besides she was going to be taught by a pirate she would fight like one.
