Title: The Mysterious Tower
Description: Private (you know who you are)

Valerik - October 25, 2007 03:56 AM (GMT)
Valerik was high in the sky, atop his mighty ash dragon Akor. The great beast moved his mighty wings up and down, propelling the two above the Squaldor Grasslands. He embellished the feelings, his hair blowing through the wind, the sky rushing past him, the sea of jade grasses rocking back and forth below. He finally snapped back into reality and out of the serenity of the land.

The last rays of the sun finally set in a brilliant dazzle of pinks and reds, creating a marvelous exit of day, and a dazzling entrance of night. Momentarily, the thick layer of night suffocated all, giving a tense feeling of claustrophobia to Valerik. But after a few moments, several brave stars poked out of the infinite layer of darkness. Soon, more stars followed, and a cluster of lights and night sky patched the sky. The night was finally completed when a brilliant moon entered the night sky, shining brightly below.

Valerik peered into the night. Something caught his eye. Something large, poking its way through the sky and into the heavens. A mighty tower rose above the earth, standing proudly above the ground below, looming taller than the height Akor was currently at. Valerik motioned for Akor to land.

He guided the dragon with his knees, spiraling around the tower, landing near the base of this mighty, mysterious tower. The dragon landed smoothly, and Valerik dismounted, sliding slightly on the dragons side to reach the ground. The vampire took a few steps towards the tower, observing the object more closely. He was hesitant at first, but continued.

This tower was a complete and total mystery. Valerik who hadn't even heard of such a tower in any of Arda's legends or histories. This tower could be a spire of a dark wizard, or a princess's home. It could be an ancient monument, or a grave site of a evil god or joyful lord. This tower could be dangerous, or merely a boring stop on Valerik's flight.

He took several steps, until the light was sufficient enough were he could see clearly on the wall of a tower. It was made of normal stones, but each of them were the same length and width, making bricks that travelled all the way up the tower. Several windows scattered across the earthen structure. Based off the buildings style and design, several floors were across the tower, with a straight or spiral staircase leading to up the many floors.

Valerik walked around the perimeter of the entire tower, Akor stomping around next to him. There was an entrance, a door. Writing was at the top of the wooden door, written in elvish. The words read, "This tower....... to the...... of.......who will be.......forever. The.......of hi.........will go.......whoev.......trials........he has........."
The text was incredibly illegible, but luckily he was able to make out some of it.

He would have to explore the tower to understand its meaning. He glanced at Akor, who understood what the vampire meant. Valerik walked up to the dragon and stroked his scales, and turned to face the ominous tower.

Jaina - October 25, 2007 02:22 PM (GMT)
"Why, why, why? Why do i always have to walk in forests, swamps, graveyards, caves? And now this, for second time i'm going to this tower,I really hate it! WHy for once some one dont see 'it' on some warm beach, or in some nice, quiet village?" Jaina was thinking while, she was gwalking toward the tower. Yet again her journey has begun in the early hours of the day and would provably end in in middle of the night, which was aproaching.

After few more minutes Jaina, emerged from the nearby woods and now only a short walk was keeping her apart from the old tower. She took a deep breath and continiued toward the ancient building. And when she was before it, there was nothing she could do unless to try to enter. But her blind eyes could not see some sotr of door, gate or whatever could be the entrance. So she stood idle trying to remember where the entrance was. From her last fisit here she got a brief gaze on the tower itself but could not remember where the door was. Then a bit later Jaina was able to catch up two seperate thoughts. One was of a human the others were from some sort of a creature. She could hear only noise and could not make a complete thought that make sence. So Jaina, decied to stay and meet them maybe they could have helped her to get in the tower or fight her, in either way she was going to wait for them.

Sargtlin Olath - October 27, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Sorry about the delayed post))

Sargtlin Olath was walking through the Salquedor Grasslands, not really going anywhere in specific. He rarely had anywhere specific to go, wandering about Arda most of the time, or spending his time in a pub or bar searching for a job to do.
"Why do I have to have such a poor amount of money? I should go to a town and get a job, then I can enjoy myself while on the hunt, and get the pay in the end." he thought as he walked, night was coming on, stars starting to come into the night sky.

He glanced into the distance, out across the open plains. He blinked, unsure if his eyes had deceived him or not.
"No, whatever it is exactly, it's there." he thought as he started walking in the direction of what he had seen. When he had gotten closer, he saw that it was some sort of tower. He saw that it was made of gray stone, it appeared to him to be rather old and weakened. He was wondering what it's purpose was, when he saw what appeared to him to be a human or some type of creature, along with a dragon. The man was petting the dragon, then he had turned to the tower.
"I wonder whom that would be?" thought Sargtlin as he started making slow steps towards the man.
"You there, what is your name? And why are you here?" shouted Sargtlin to the man. He was wondering if the man was for good or for evil, and he was very curious as to his purpose at that stone tower. He looked around, he didn't see any other people, but he knew that he couldn't be sure as to that or not.
"I wonder, how does one gain access to this tower? For there doesn't appear to be an entrance, at least not on this side." he thought as he continued approaching the tower and the man. He for once hoped that he would not have to engage in combat, for he thought that he could handle the man, but didn't know how well he could handle a dragon on his own, and he could not tell how old the dragon was.

Valerik - October 27, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
Valerik was inspecting the tower when a mysterious women had came up to him. She too seemed to be intrigued by this ancient structure, examining it, deep in thought on what to do to solve its mysteries. He had a difficult choice ahead: to reveal his true nature or to disguise it, using a facade of a human. He would decide to intimidate, or try to form a companionship to help solve the puzzle and mystery of the tower.

He opened his mouth to begin to speak, his brain still churning for an answer for his delima, but his answer came walking up to him. A drow came up, just as curious as the previous visitor. 'Hmmm, a drow. I'm familiar to their kind, and how to handle them,' the vampire thought, remembering his good friend Vencrest. Valerik smiled, glad that the newcomers would actually end in his favor.

Drow were sinister and malevolent creatures, just like a vampire. Valerik could have some honor among thieves here to help investigate the secrets of the tower. Who knew what dangers could possibly lie in the tower, and what kind enemies could lie ahead. The drow began to speak, "You there, what is your name? And why are you here?"

"Greetings fellow travelers," he said in a friendly, "It seems we all have stumbled upon this magnificent...... and imposing tower. Based upon the inscriptions this tower has some kind of....... treasure in it. But it looks as if its dangerous. Maybe traps, or undead, or fierce warriors. Maybe its a wizards tower, or a princess's castle," he said, revealing his curiosities.

"Here is the inscriptions," he told them, pointing to the inscriptions above the door. "Would you two wish to join me on an adventure inside the tower, splitting the treasure we discover evenly among us?" he asked, hoping that the companions would join him on his journey inside the tower.

"I am Valerik, a DragonRider" he said, motioning towards Akor, "And that is my magnificent steed, Akor, my valiant Ash Dragon." He stroked the dragon again. "Of course, he will not accompany us into the tower," he added with a chuckle, trying to act as friendly as possible. "Of course, you do not have to enter the tower with me, because my....." he searched for the right words, "abilities. I am a vampire. But do not worry!" he quickly added, "I will not hurt or bite ANY of you, unless of course, you truly desire to become one of my kind," he said with a smile.

Jaina - November 6, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
(holy crap i forgot about this Rp)

Shortly after her arrival a clear thought could be heard from nearby ''Hmmm, a drow. I'm familiar to their kind, and how to handle them.' When she heard that, Jaina thought 'A drow here? What could he be searching for?' Jaina awaited the stranger to finish his presumption for the tower and said "It dose not hold any treasure within it. A demon reside inside... to the best of my knowledge.: Then when Valerik offered the join him and to split the treasure it sounded tempting, but it was not the reason because of wich Jaina was here. But after all she was misled so many times that the chanse of waht she sought was here, was astronomicly slim... and a treasure could serve purpose.

While Jaina was considering his offer, he introduced himself "Valerik, a DragonRider" was his name, or atleast he said it to be so. Then only moments later he said the name of his dragon and that he will not acompany them ( if she agreed to go with him) in the tower. But there was not much time to think about the dragon because, this man, Valerik said that he is a vampire.... a vampire. As she, thought wat to say her outh was on 'auto pilot' "I'm Jaina, a wizzard... or a mage." When Jaina finished, she wstill didnt know how to respond to the claim that Valerik, was a vampire thus she remained silent. She mannaged to hiss "keep your teeth to yourself!" Though she was absent-minded If, he tryed to bite or attack her the response would be swift, but she hoped that it will not come to this.

Sargtlin Olath - November 8, 2007 06:10 AM (GMT)
Sargtlin Olath continued walking towards the man, keeping his eye trained on the dragon near the man. He listened to the man making his guesses as to the contents of the old stone tower. He heard a woman's voice, coming from fairly close by, speak after the man was done talking.

"It dose not hold any treasure within it. A demon reside inside... to the best of my knowledge."

"Another person here? Hopefully not trying to interfere, for she doesn't have any kind of weapon on her except for a staff, which makes me think she is either a staff fighter, or a magic user. Both can be dangerous, especially staff fighters, as I know from personal experience." he thought, remembering his fight with a certain Vampire. He heard the man start to speak again.

"I am Valerik, a DragonRider, and that is my magnificent steed, Akor, my valiant Ash Dragon. Of course, you do not have to enter the tower with me, because my.....abilities. I am a vampire. But do not worry! I will not hurt or bite ANY of you, unless of course, you truly desire to become one of my kind,"

He heard the man say, stroking his dragon's side partway through his speech. Sargtlin's hand quickly went to the hilt of his two-handed sword, he did not draw it, but was prepared to if he needed to.
"A Vampire you say? So, what do we get, and what happens if we don't join you?" he asked, remembering his Vampire ally, Lucent.
"So, another one, eh? Seems I meet alot of Vampires, oh well." he thought, waiting for an answer to his inquiry. He kept his eye on the dragon mount, watching it's movements.

Valerik - November 10, 2007 02:56 AM (GMT)

Valerik chuckled as he saw the drow nervously watching the dragon. "Do not worry! Akor is as harmless as me," he chuckled, an almost sarcastic smile spread across his face. "A Vampire you say? So, what do we get, and what happens if we don't join you?" the drow asked. "It does not hold any treasure within it. A demon reside inside... to the best of my knowledge. I'm Jaina, a wizzard... or a mage." Jaina corrected, followed by an introduction. "And keep your teeth to yourself!" she quickly added.

Valerik turned to address Jaina first. "A wizard, eh?" he said with a tone of mock surprise, "I would never guess that based upon your attire," he chuckled. 'This mortal does not belong with the drow and I. She will only get in the way,' he thought, a scowl spreading across his face. The vampire had not been exposed to the best experiences with mortals, especially at the earliest stages of his infection.

"Jaina, I would be more than happy to have you join me in my adventures in this mysterious tower. Perhaps this will be a rich demon we will invade?" Valerik suggested, laughing slightly. A bit of truth resided in this statement, for the vampire operated for gold. He would greatly appreciate the help, and even an expendable mortal would assist him in combating the great troubles that awaited inside the tower.

"And unless you wish to be truly a being of perfection, I will not touch you," Valerik said with pride. He took great joy in what he was. He now directed himself to the drow. "If you don't wish to adventure with me," he said, spreading out his hands, "you may part your own way. Leaving this tower enshrouded with mystery, its puzzles unsolved, its...... treasure unfound," Valerik said.

He could almost feel the plunder in his hands. The payout for this adventure, hopefully, would be enormous. Or perhaps, all their was in the tower were 'priceless' bottles of wine, or just coffins and tombs. Or perhaps dark spells and ancient ritualistic texts. "Stupid drow, for all you know, this tower could be filled with piles of gold. Or demons, or dark wizards, cultists, assassins, thieves! This tower could be way to much for such a strong drow like yourself to handle," the vampire said flatteringly.

"If you do come, we will split the treasure, even. I take money seriously, and you have my word on this," he said, raising one hand and placing the other over his heart. "If one of you die in the adventure, we will split it among the two of us. None will go to families or for funeral or revival costs," Valerik said bluntly. "So, nameless drow, whom should give us his name, will you join us?" Valerik asked, laughing at his own joke.

Jaina - November 12, 2007 09:36 PM (GMT)
Though Jaina have vowed to herself that she will never read one's thoughts without his or her permission, this case was different. So she could hear his every thought. When he addressed her as mortal in his thoughts she responded with vexation "This, mortal can take care of herself. And addressing me as a mortal sound lowly like I'm some scum." Then Valerik said "Jaina, I would be more than happy to have you join me in my adventures in this mysterious tower. Perhaps this will be a rich demon we will invade. " If she was not wearing a bandage over her eyes, she would look at him with irritation, but now only a comment would have to suffice. "You do not like me, so please do not pretend to do so from courtesy. And i do not know if he or she is rich." Then the vampire added that unless she wanted to e 'perfect' he would not touch her, and she really didn’t want to become vampire nor even perfect though vampires were far from perfect. BUt before she could say something he spoke to the drow which so far have not said his name. At first nothing was out of the ordinary but then he called him 'stupid drow'. Knowing the temper of the drows, Jaina knew that he would provably attack for this insult. Usually Jaina, would not agree to participate in this charade but, she needed to know if what she sought was in the tower. If it was the, she would not need any of the treasures, if indeed there was some inside. If it was not, then she would just leave and not take anything, but she would not tell them any of this because they needed not to know. Then with a chuckle she responded on Valerik's demand "Well as far as i know, your word done mean nothing. And I think that even if one of us perishes a small amount of gold should be given for funeral service. No one deserve to be left to rot, all have the right to be properly buried." And even if no one agreed, and some one died she would only take enough gold so that he can buried.

Sargtlin Olath - November 14, 2007 05:27 AM (GMT)
Sargtlin watched as the Vampire walked to the woman, Jaina. Then the Vampire turned his attention to him.

"If you don't wish to adventure with me, you may part your own way. Leaving this tower enshrouded with mystery, its puzzles unsolved, its...... treasure unfound,"

Sargtlin smiled at the words of the Vampire.
"I wonder, is he trying to entice me to come? If so, he is failing, for I could care less about whether or not it is 'enshrouded in mystery'." he thought keeping an eye on the man's dragon, even though the man said that it wouldn't hurt him. He heard the man talk again.

"Stupid drow, for all you know, this tower could be filled with piles of gold. Or demons, or dark wizards, cultists, assassins, thieves! This tower could be way to much for such a strong drow like yourself to handle. If you do come, we will split the treasure, even. I take money seriously, and you have my word on this. If one of you die in the adventure, we will split it among the two of us. None will go to families or for funeral or revival costs. So, nameless drow, whom should give us his name, will you join us?"

Sargtlin quickly drew his sword and held the tip of the icy cold steel pointed at the Vampire's throat after his first words.
"You should be glad that I do not have the temper of some Drow, otherwise I would have sliced your head off, but I still do not take insults as well as some, so I would watch your tongue next time you talk, or you might be missing it." he said coldly and bluntly, narrowing his eyes as he spoke to the man.
"I will join you though, and my name you ask? My name is Sargtlin Olath." He was slightly angry at the man's comment.
"He is foolish, isn't he? That or he's better than he says." he thought, lowering the tip of the two-handed sword, the one that he had gotten from his Drow clan, before he had killed them. He heard the woman talk to them again.

"Well as far as i know, your word done mean nothing. And I think that even if one of us perishes a small amount of gold should be given for funeral service. No one deserve to be left to rot, all have the right to be properly buried."

He laughed quietly at the woman's words.
"No, some do deserve to be left to rot, and me? I could care less if I'm buried or if I'm left for the birds, because I'm dead." he said with a unnerving smile on his cruel looking face.

Valerik - November 18, 2007 05:41 PM (GMT)
Valerik listened to Jaina, "You do not like me, so please do not pretend to do so from courtesy. And I do not know if he or she is rich." The vampire smiled, 'She reads me very well, perhaps she does it through magic, or perhaps I give it a away with my rude attitude,' he thought with a chuckle. Valerik dismissed the thought, and continued on. "Well, it is worth a shot to try and invade this tower," Valerik said encouragingly.

"Well as far as I know, your word done mean nothing. And I think that even if one of us perishes a small amount of gold should be given for funeral service. No one deserve to be left to rot, all have the right to be properly buried." she remarked to Valerik's comment about funerals. Before Valerik could say more, the drow said, "No, some do deserve to be left to rot, and me? I could care less if I'm buried or if I'm left for the birds, because I'm dead."

"I very much agree," Valerik told Jaina. "The dead are meant to rot. If you are willing to spend your own gold of burials, feel free. But my gold will not go a mortals funeral," Valerik told her coldly.

Then, Valerik asked the drows name. Quickly, the dark elf drew his blade, and aimed it at the neck of Valerik. "You should be glad that I do not have the temper of some Drow, otherwise I would have sliced your head off, but I still do not take insults as well as some, so I would watch your tongue next time you talk, or you might be missing it." he said to Valerik.

"I will join you though, and my name you ask? My name is Sargtlin Olath." he said angrily, lowering his sword. Valerik stood calmly during the whole encounter. But Akor did not. The massive beast took a huge step towards Sargtlin, his enormous paw shaking the earth. Akor roared viciously, his breath as strong as a light gust.

'Sargtlin,' Valerik thought. He chuckled quietly to himself. He remembered the words of the drow.'You should be glad that I do not have the temper of some Drow, otherwise I would have sliced your head off, but I still do not take insults as well as some, so I would watch your tongue next time you talk, or you might be missing it' Again, he laughed quietly at the thought. 'He does not have a temper? I think he has a temper, but he has no guts to actually stand and fight. He is probably afraid of my sweet Akor!' he laughed again, amused at this thought.

"Akor, enough," Valerik said quietly, stroking the dragon on the head. "I am glad to see that we have a happy crew," he said sarcastically, looking at the drow. "Shall we begin?" he said, taking a few steps towards the massive door that led into the mysterious tower.

Jaina - November 28, 2007 09:38 PM (GMT)
(OOC:sorry guys, as i said to Valerik my pc blew up and i was not able to post untill Sunday but them my new machine blew up aswell, so now i'm typing this form an internet cafe. Also sorry for the shortness)

“Both” Jaina mumbled to Valerik, on his thoughts. But then the drow said that he didn’t care if he will rot beneath or above the ground, and the vampire agreed with him. Jaina, thought “Savages!” It was enough to describe them and their thoughts about funeral. Her thoughts were rudely interrupted by sound of sword cutting through the air and then the drow spoke to the vampire “You should be glad that I do not have the temper of some Drow, otherwise I would have sliced your head off, but I still do not take insults as well as some, so I would watch your tongue next time you talk, or you might be missing it” And after that a sound from the dragon came as a response. Before Valerik made his pet stop his attack Jaina one again heard his houghts and how he think that the dorw didn’t had the guts to fight. Within here there was a dispute if she should let the drow know about that, but she didn’t told him nor she would have. And then as she thought Valerik, stopped his beast of burden and asked if they shall begin. With a nod Jaina agreed and said “After you, after all you suggested going, so… if there are traps I think it is best if you disable them… one way or another.” Jaina didn’t like to send anyone else in front of her especially if there might have been traps laid but in this case an exception must have been made.

Sargtlin Olath - December 5, 2007 06:17 PM (GMT)
((OOC: My bad, I didn't know it was my turn to post.))

Sargtlin watched the dragon that was next to the Vampire start to move forward, it's foot making it feel as if the earth was shaking. As it stepped forward it roared, it's breath blowing Sargtlin's white hair as he stood there. Then he watched the Vampire stroke the dragon's head, soothing it as he talked.

"Akor, enough. I am glad to see that we have a happy crew. Shall we begin?"

Sargtlin listened to the sarcasm in the Vampire's voice, wondering whether it was really worth going in there with him. He watched the Vampire take a few steps closer to the door, the door to enter the massive structure. As he did, Sargtlin heard the words of the woman.

“After you, after all you suggested going, so… if there are traps I think it is best if you disable them… one way or another.”

Sargtlin smiled sinisterly at the woman's words, he hadn't expected her to say something like that.
"Oh? Interesting, very interesting, perhaps she could prove useful? Or perhaps not, either way I wonder how many of us will come out of there alive? I plan to, but what about the other two? None of us are on the best terms with each other, but hopefully that Vampire will take the blow from any traps." he thought.
"I agree, perhaps being your idea, you should be the one to get killed by any traps, while both of us live and laugh at your death. Sounds fair to me." he said, quietly laughing at the Vampire. He was wondering what kind of traps could be in there, perhaps traps to fill him full of arrows? Or a pit to open up beneath him while he walks in there?
"We shall see, shan't we?" he thought as he took a step towards the tower.

Valerik - December 5, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
((OOC: I thought this topic was dead! YAH FOR ALIVENESS! ))

Valerik listened to the words of the scholarly women. "After you, after all you suggested going, so… if there are traps I think it is best if you disable them… one way or another.” Valerik paused, not taking another step. If the place was rigged with traps, he should probably wait and take a look. Valerik smiled, glad she said what she did at the correct time. If he had opened the door, he could of been bombarded by traps.

He looked at the door, seeing on the door knob a piece of brass separated from the rest. 'A switch!' Valerik concluded, pulling his hand away from the knob. "I agree, perhaps being your idea, you should be the one to get killed by any traps, while both of us live and laugh at your death. Sounds fair to me." Sartglin told the two. 'I'm beginning to not like that drow,' Valerik thought with a scowl.

The drow's attitude was exactly oppisite of one of his few allies. Vencrest Kianthis was more polite, in a sinister way. This drow was blunt, crude, almost as crude and unsophisticated as an orc. Valerik scoffed at this thought. Most drow were sophisticated, while this one was as stupid as an orc! He chuckled silently to himself, not saying anything to the drow.

Then, a plan formed in Valerik's head. 'I could kill the drow,' he thought with extreme hate, 'That pig won't make a good companion, and if I make it seem like an 'accident', then Jaina will accompany herself with me still!' Valerik thought, smiling at his own sinister ideas. He inspected door knob more closely. From its appearance, something shot out of the key hole. Valerik would use this to his advantage.

Sartglin was to his right, and luckily, the door opened to the right. If he could time opening the door just right, the projectile would hit his adventuring 'companion'. He did not take kindly to threats and insults, making this drow a very unlikable person to Valerik.

"I'll go in," he stated to his adventuring companions. He turned the knob to the door, putting himself to the side of the tower as he opened it towards the direction of Sartglin. The key hole lifted up, and out shot an arrow with a green, slimy liquid on the tip. It shot straight for Sartglin, the arrow zooming past Valerik.

Jaina - December 7, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
Jaina very much disagreed, with Sargtlin that she will laugh upon, Valerik’s death, so with frustration Jaina said “You may laugh all you want on it drow!” When she finished, Valerik’s thoughts overflowed her mind. Maybe he didn’t understood that she could read his thoughts, but what if he was thinking that on purpose and thus wanted to turn her against the drow.

But already Jaina, have made her mind, she would be the buffer between the two of them. If a fight would occur, she would stand between them and not let them fight, not that she doubted that any of them would hit or kill her. But Valerik’s thoughts troubled her, if he have already forfeited Sargtlin’s life what would stop him from doing so with Jaina. When he thought to make it like accident Jaina, thought “Dose he think that I’m stupid?

Then Valerik, the betrayer said “I’ll go in.” From the blindness her hearing have improved, and thus she was able to hear how the arrow flew and ‘cleaved’ the air in two. Even without thinking her hand extended forward and with the telekinesis, Jaina controlled she was able to stop the arrow on the halfway from Sargtlin. She didn’t expect any rewards from saving his life, but a thanks would be great. But he would provably said, something from the sort that he didn’t need any help.

With the arrow halt in the air Jaina thought what to do with it. Maybe she should send it back to Valerik and impale him, for trying to kill Sargtlin. But that idea was quickly discarded, for after all she was not a cold blood killer, unlike her ‘friends’ over here, who are just waiting for the right time to betray her and then themselves. Then Jaina, with the same hand sends a fireball toward the arrow, and incinerated it so no one could use it. Then she said “Ok so, we know that there are traps rigged to kill us. That is why I will leave the opportunity to lead the way, boys.

Sargtlin Olath - December 10, 2007 03:19 AM (GMT)
Sargtlin walked up to stand to the right of the Vampire, then he heard the woman's voice.

You may laugh all you want on it drow!

Sargtlin wondered why this woman would accept to accompanying him and the Vampire.
"She seems to dislike violence, and yet she has not already left both of us? Surely she has already noticed that neither of us are the most pleasant company. I wonder why she has decided to stay with the both of us, perhaps it is to keep us from killing each other? If so, why let us kill each other? For if we do then that will be less of our kind for people like her to have to worry about." he thought, unsure of her reasons. At the end of his thoughts, he heard the voice of the Vampire again.

"I'll go in,"

Sargtlin was beginning to feel uneasy around the Vampire, for he already knew that he wanted to kill Sargtlin, but he didn't know how he would attempt it. He didn't expect him to just ask Sargtlin to a duel, but would be more sneaky in his approach.
"I hope that he doesn't think that I am a complete fool." he thought, trying to keep himself light on his feet, so that he could move quickly if he needed to. He watched the man turn the door knob and open the door. As he did, out from it shot an arrow, it's tip was covered in some green slime. He quickly tried to turn his body and step out of the way, but he saw that he didn't need to. He watched the arrow pause in mid-flight, stopped apparently by the woman.
"A mage, interesting." he thought, watching her cast a spell that launched a fireball at the arrow. He turned to the woman after watching her stop the arrow.
"Thank you for the assistance." he said to her, then he turned to the Vampire, now knowing that he could not trust him in any manner. He didn't speak his thoughts, but cast a dark glance at the man. Then he heard the woman speak again.

Ok so, we know that there are traps rigged to kill us. That is why I will leave the opportunity to lead the way, boys.

Sargtlin didn't say anything else, but waited for a moment.

Valerik - December 12, 2007 01:48 AM (GMT)
Valerik scoffed, ashamed of the women's mercy, voluntarily saving the drow from a fate he deserved. He hoped that his attempt to kill his fellow 'companion' was not as obvious as he thought he seemed. Jaina then launched a fireball from her hand, incinerating the arrow into ashes. The dark grains fell to the ground, some of the powder drifting away in the wind.

The pale rays of the moon light shone on the tower, its cobble reflecting a white light on the grassy terrain underneath the company."Thank you for the assistance." said Sartglin to Jaina, showing his appreciation. Valerik scowled, but quickly hide his countenance. "Yes, thank you!" he lied, not trying to make it apparent that his attempt to murder the drow was intentional.

Valerik swiftly walked to the other side of the door, peering into the inside of the old crumbling structure. The inside lead to a large, circular room, which was about twenty feet in diameter. It was littered with large rocks and debris, the entire room difficult to navigate around. Several bones were scattered across it, leading Valerik to conclude that several adventurers had attempted the same journey before them. Obviously, they had failed.

“Ok so, we know that there are traps rigged to kill us. That is why I will leave the opportunity to lead the way, boys.” Jaina declared. Valerik nodded, not reluctant to take the position of leader. "Don't worry, if any of you are in trouble, I'll save you maggots," He lied, his slight insult more directed to the drow. He shot an angry glare towards Sartglin's direction when he said that, hoping his slight gesture would have impact.

Valerik entered the room, his footsteps echoing the room. Suddenly, one of the cobble stones pressed towards the ground, his pressure activating some device. A portion of the ground slid away, revealing a dark staircase that led underground. But every device in this tower must have a dangerous purpose. Out of the ground came undead, zombies reeking of death and decay. Valerik drew his sword, shouting to his companions, "We've got company!" and with that, he charged his mana.

His mana accumulated in an orb of electricity, the lightning crackling and hissing as it gather energy. It grew in size as well as the zombie horde. Now, seven zombies were visible. Valerik released his energy, the beam hitting the closest zombie, branching off to each other zombie. Each of the seven zombies fell to the ground, dead: for good. But that wasn't enough. Ten more zombies had arrived in that short time. And from the looks of it, more were coming.

Jaina - December 13, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)
Jaina, was surprised that the dorw had actuality thanked her, though it may not have been true. She knew that, Valerik will make more trouble than, Sargtlin at least the drow showed his dislike toward them. With slight smile, Jaina spoke toward, Sargtlin to answer his thoughts. I do not know why i stay, and perhaps it is true that I'm here to stop you killing each other. And 'my' people, and I will not worry about your kind unless you attack." BY the time she was done speaking to the drow, Valerik also thanked her for the assistance, but she could clearly sense it is a lie.

When, Valerik declared that if some one is in trouble he will save them the 'maggots', yet again Jaina sensed it is a live. She felt insulted, not by the the way he called them, but because of his lies. After that Valerik entered the tower, in which they were all so interested.

Jaina, could hear his footsteps echo inside the tower, and few steps after that some weird noise came from the inside. This noise sounded like two stones are grinding against each other. After that another more loud noise came from the inside, it was the same as before just louder. Before she could move, Valerik yelled "We've got company!"

She, could smell the dead, well not them she, was smelling the air that came from inside. It smelled like carrion, and that is why, she thought that undead's are coming. Jaina, didn't have anything more than undead's and demons. Then another sound from discharging electricity, though she wondered from what it is, she hoped that it is not from some undead sage.

Then Jaina, rushed into the tower and yelled to, Valerik Get out! I will handle them! she didn't repeat it again, and expected that he will listen her, or he would have perished along the undeads. Then she stood somewhere inside the tower, and could not see where are the undead's but what she had in mind would not need directions to kill the zombies. "Gra’tua cuun hett su dralshy’a!" She said.

After that her both hands began to glow with bright red light, and her venous also glowed red. Fire sparks begun to exit her fingers at first, but then from her palms. The fire sparks began to gather up in the middle of the tower and to form a big ball of fire.

Than enormous gold of fire began to pull everything inside the room, without Jaina, toward it's core. As the zombies, the bones from the dead adventurers and the stone, were approaching the ball they began to crush and before they entered, flames covered them and incinerated them. She didn't knew how much they were so, she kept the supernova active for about 30 seconds, which would be enough to wipe a whole horde of undead's.

Jaina had enough control over her ability, so she needn't worry that it will explode and destroy the tower. Despite that she ground began to shake, and the walls began to make weird noises, as if they were about to go down. That is when, Jaina dismissed the spell, unfortunately before it imploded it pulled the door of the tower. But since Jaina’s hearing improved, during the blindness, she heard it and quickly jumped to the left. However this decision came with a drawback, the good part was that it didn’t ripped Jaina’s head from the rest of the body, but the draw back was that she was hit by it. From the hit, Jaina loosed the ground from below her feet, and everything became dark, and she fell unconscious on the ground, and on the mercy of her ‘companions’.

Sargtlin Olath - December 15, 2007 12:09 AM (GMT)
After Sargtlin had spoken to the woman, their Vampire "companion" spoke up.

"Yes, thank you!"

Sargtlin felt ready to choke the Vampire.
"No, not yet anyway. Perhaps later, but not yet, preferably once Jaina has left." he thought. He knew that the arrow that had nearly killed him had not been an accident. He heard the Vampire's voice again in response to the woman's earlier words.

"Don't worry, if any of you are in trouble, I'll save you maggots,"

Sargtlin almost laughed inside as he saw the Vampire cast him a angry glare. He heard the woman speak to him, startling him with her words.

I do not know why i stay, and perhaps it is true that I'm here to stop you killing each other. And 'my' people, and I will not worry about your kind unless you attack."

He was surprised at the words for they seemed to be directed to answer his earlier thoughts.
"So, she can hear thoughts? She is a magician, and I don't know of much else to explain that, so until proven otherwise I will assume she can, and can hear this thought as well." he thought after her words. He watched the man step inside the room, and then he saw a portion of the ground give way revealing a staircase.
"What did you do now?" he said to the man in an irritated voice. Before he heard an answer, he suddenly was hit by the scent of the dead.
"Great, now what?" he thought, drawing his sword as he saw the face of a zombie appear as it came up the staircase.

"We've got company!"

He heard the voice of the Vampire say as he drew his own sword. Sargtlin watched, finding out that this Vampire was also a magician, for he created a large orb of electricity in front of him, releasing it into the first zombie, then hitting other zombies behind it. He decided to jump in the fray, though he hadn't fought any zombies before, so he was interested to see how they would react to him slicing their bodies to pieces. The zombies kept coming up the staircase as he lunged at the one in front, swinging his sword across cleaving it's head off. He was going to start cleaving more to pieces, when he heard the woman's voice speak up.

Get out! I will handle them!

At first he hesitated, but then decided to obey, for he didn't want to become a victim of a powerful spell. He sprinted out of the entrance as he heard her muttering a incantation for a spell. After he made it out of the tower, he felt a force pulling him back. Glancing back he saw a large globe of fire over the woman, sucking in all of the zombies. He didn't want to find out first hand what the spell would feel like, so he decided to move to the side of the tower's door.

When he felt the pulling stop, he chanced a glance back inside, also noticing that the door was missing. When he did, he saw the woman laying unconscious on the ground.
"Perhaps entering into here is not such a good idea." he thought, turning to the Vampire.
"So, what do you plan to do now? Do you plan to continue on, or do you plan to try to kill me, or do you plan to leave this place be?" he said to the Vampire, keeping his sword at the ready.
