The first thing Raven Silverflame noticed when she woke up was the sunlight streaming in through the windows.

Where am I? , she thought.

The events of the previous night (was it?) came back to her. She sat up and looked around. It was sunrise again outside, meaning she had spent the whole of yesterday asleep. She got up, noticing that her wounds had been bandaged and her arm placed in a sling.

The innkeeper's doing, she thought, looking around her. She would have to thank the innkeeper once all this was over.

Wondering vaguely where Aegis was, she left her room and went downstairs. The downstairs area of the inn was a complete wreck. There was blood and some unidentifiable mess from last night all over the place. The walls were broken in and some rocks were piled up in the corner. She went into the kitchen, which was pretty much untouched. Everyone else was seated around a table, along with the innkeeper. Aegis was eating contentedly out of a plate of meat set out for him on the floor. They didn't seem to notice her. She cleared her throat.

"All right," she said, "Let's get some cleaning done..."

Kithara was too busy checking out the damage last night that she didn't sleep. she, instead, slept in the table. she was sitting down and her hair covered her face. She was dreaming of sleeping in a nice bed when she heard howls very near her ear. she jumped up.
"Ahhh!!!" she cried, "I'm awake!"
She panted and realized that aegis howled because he enjoyed his meal... raven was getting ready for the clean up and she was plain dizzy, lack of sleep.
"Ok...Kit..."she thought, "Lean up time...I mean...CLEAN up time."
She stood up and started moving.

Raven stared at Kithara. She sat down at the table and pat Aegis on the head before trying to eat her food one-handed.

"You didn't get any sleep at all, did you?" she asked.

Takoda smiled at the two from where she was sitting at the table.

"You feeling better at all?" she asked them both. "The place is a mess. You guys sure know how to throw a good party."

She laughed and took a drink of water.

"Sweep?" she frowned, "I'll do that later."
After a while, she realized that Raven was talking about sleep and not sweep.
"Oh..." she slapped her forehead, "I'm sorry...and yes i didn't sleep...I checked out the damage and it looks like we'll be staying here for a while."
She smiled, sleepishly.

Raven smiled at Takoda.

"I'm feeling fine," she said, "I'm just a little sore, that's all."

She turned to Kithara. Taking the glass of water from her, she dumped it over Kithara's head.

"Awake now?" she asked, grinning.

Takoda laughed and covered her mouth with her hands.

"That would have certainly woken me up but I'm glad I didn't need it." she laughed. "Maybe you two should sleep before helping to clean up but if your sure your up to it."

Raven turned to Takoda.

"I just spent the whole yesterday asleep," she said, "I think I'm ready to clean."

She grinned.

"I don't know about Kithara though."

Kithara froze and touched her wet head. She was wide awake now and all she could do was give a grimace.
"Awake you say?" she said, in a creepy tone, "I'LL SHOW YOU HOW AWAKE I AM!!!!"
She stood up, raising her right arm and glared at Raven. She began running to after her, trying to reach her and wanted to give her a piece of her mind. She was thinking about her "Vampric touch." It would be useful in these times.
"Come back here!!!" she yelled, "I'll drain you back to bed!!!"

Raven got up and began running away.

"Kit! Kit! Calm down!" she exclaimed while running, "My arm remember! Kit, I'm injured!"

This wasn't working so she turned into a small snake and darted into a small crack in the wall.

When Kithara's angry, nothing can stop her from getting her hands on anyone. She cried out...
"Injured?!?" she spotted Raven, turning into a snake and going inside the crack in the wall, "I'll make sure you are!!!"

She pointed at the crack and strong winds encircled her arm. she released it and the winds opened the crack, revealing snake-raven inside.
"Got ya..." she grinned.

Raven hissed at Kithara, purposely sticking her tongue out as Aegis tackled Kithara to the ground. She transformed back to human form.

"Easy now," she said, "We don't want to break more of the inn, do we?"

Kithara frowned and tried to calm down. She had to or else...poor innkeeper...after deaqling with the monster, she will have to deal with them.
"Get him off me before I drain him." she said, a bit calm now.
As Aegis got off her, she stood up and began to go near the kitchen. she went near the sink and splashed water in her face. she was now....calm...???
"Well, I have to take a bath anyway..." she said, looking at the innkeeper, "don't tell me, bathroom's busted..."
She waited for an answer while wiping her face with a towel.

"Okay, I won't tell you," said Raven, just as the innkeeper came in with some things, namely cans of paint and brushes.

"You can start in that room over there," she said, "The walls were scorched, so you'll have to paint them all over again."

Kithara grabbed the can of paint hastefully and went out of the room, murmuring some things like "Great...no bathroom...I'll have my revenge..."
She went to the room where the innkeeper told them to paint. she looked at the scorched walls and she whistled.
"Whoa...something tells me we'll be staying in here for a while..." she placed the can in her other arm and started painting the wall, White.

"Right," said Raven, opening the can of blue paint and beginning to paint. After a while, she turned around to look at Kithara and gasped in horror.

"Kit, we have a problem," she said, looking at Kithara's white paint and her blue paint.

Kithara jumped back in surprise and went into her fighting position, dropping the can of white paint.
"Where is it?" she cried, "I'm ready to....fight?"
She saw the wall and raised an eyebrow.
"RAVEN!!!" she yelled, "WHAT DID YOU DO!?!?!?! White was good!!!"

"I didn't know you were using white!" exclaimed Raven.

She calmed down a bit and took a few deep breaths.

"Look, it's no problem," she said, "I'll just use the thinner, and paint it all over again."

Kithara sanpped out of it...Apparently, lack of sleep made her...uh...impatient??? She looked at Raven.
"So sorry, Rae..." she scratched her head, "I'm a bit jumpy today...you're right....let's work this out...we need to finish this..."
She took the white paint and continued to paint.

Raven sighed, picking up the bottle of thinner and wiping it onto the wall. Once the paint was off, she picked up the white paint and began to paint, humming a song to herself as she worked.

"How are you doing, Kit?" she asked.

Kithara forgot what she was doing and fell half-asleep, standing, holding the can of paint. She was murmuring something in her sleep...
"Blue...no...white...no...rainbow...."
suddenly, she dropped the can and she woke up...
"What..." she sighed, "Did you ask how I was doing? Well, yes...fine..."
She smiled and failed to notice there was white paint in her left cheek.
"after we get done," she said, "Let's take a break and a bath..."

Takoda had sat back and laughed at the other two as they ran around. When they had settled she stood and helped them with the cleaning, though was rather baffled at the two different coloured paints. She smiled and shook her head slilently and began to sing while she worked beside the other two.

"Kit, either wake up or go to sleep. Decide already!" said Raven, pointing out the paint on Kithara's cheek. She turned to Takoda.

"I apologize for Kithara," she said, grinning, "She's not herself right now."

Kithara frowned and glared at her.
"I'm awake!!" she cried, "Why don't you believe me Rae!?!?!"
She pointed hat her but it ended up pointing towards Aegis.
"Sorry, wolfy..." she slapped her face, "I mean Raven...I'm fine...Now, let's finish this...We have a lot of work to do..."
She took the can of paint and started painting, humming a song.

"Well...if you're sure," said Raven, continuing to paint.

Takoda laughed and began humming with Raven while she painted. It was rather fun. She flicked a bit of paint at Kithara and kept on painting like nothing happened.

Kithara looked at the both of them...
"Um...guys..." she asked, "this paint can is removable right?"
she looked at her hands, covered with a bit of paint and tiny spots of it on her face...
"Please tell me it can be removed..." she said, frowning.

"No, Kit," said Raven grinning at Kithara, "It's completely permanent!"

She laughed at the look of horror on Kithara's face.

"Kidding," she said, flicking some paint at Kithara, "What do you think paint thinner is for?"

when Raven told her that it wasn't removable, she froze and freaked out. After a while, she remembered the thinner and slaaped her face.
"Raven!!!" she yelled, "You're making me nuts!!!!"
She quickly grabbed the thinner and took the paint off her skin.

"Ok children settle down. Mommys here" She already had her half of the room done, much to the surprise of Kithara, Raven, and Takoda, she had all of her summons out helping as well. "What, I'm not cheating. This isn't a contest," she turned to her summons, "Ok guys get working here."

Kithara dropped the can of paint and realized how much time they were wasting.
"Shoot..." she said, looking at the wall she was painting, "I"m not even half-done...That's it...I'm finishing this now."
She grabbed two paint brushes and started painting the wall like there was no tomorrow.

"Whoa, Kit, relax!" she exclaimed, watching Kithara, "We're not going anywhere anytime soon."

"All done!" she panted, looking at the wall, filled with white paint. She gave a sigh of relief and noticed that the others were staring at her.
"Um..." she smiled, "I'll go get rid of the heavy rocks, ok?"
She went near the area filled with broken rocks and concentrated. She controlled the wind to carry the bid rocks and put it outside the inn. She shouldn't be distracted or else the rock will fall...hopefully not on anyone.

Raven stared at Kithara with a growing feeling of worry as she shifted the rocks around.

"Kit, careful," she said, "Please...please...please don't drop that."

Kithara walked, a hand raised while controlling the big bolder. she looked back at Raven and smiled.
"Don't worry Rae..." she said, "It'll be fine..."
She turned back and started heading outside the inn. In front of her, the inn keeper was watching them and also sweeping the floor. As she walked carefully, in front of her path was a big crack on the floor. she hummed while walking, staring and focusing on the rock. She suddenly tripped over the crack and lost her concentration, making the rock fall to the inn keeper.
""STOP!!!" she cried, raising an arm. Fortunately, her reflexes did the work of controlling the heavy object again. The inn keeper covered herself, shaking and praying. Kit stood up and looked at everyone, giving an awkward smile.
"Oops...sorry." she said, "I'll be MORE careful now..."
She walked again, watching ever step she took.

"KITHARA!" exclaimed Raven, shaking the brush at Kithara. The head of the brush flew off the handle, hitting Kithara on the face and smearing her with white paint.

"Oops, sorry," said Raven, picking up the head of the brush, "But next time, be more careful."

She turned to the innkeeper.

"Are you all right, ma'am?" she asked.

"Yes, I'm fine," said the innkeeper, dusting herself off, "I brought you girls something to drink."

She gestured at the pitcher of cold water and the glasses on a tray.

"Help yourselves," she said, "I thought you might be thirsty. I hope that the next time I come in here, I won't be in danger of being flattened."

As she said this, she looked at Kithara.

Kithara was now filled with anger and she wanted to have her revenge. No, she did not go wild, she sweetly smiled and took a can of blue paint.
"Sure, I would love some drinks." she said, walking to the others. As she passed by Raven, she quickly dumped the can of blue paint on Raven's head. She grabbed a juice and left her, frozen.
"Nice, refreshing!" she said, sitting down on a rock, "This is really fun."

"Kit!" exclaimed Raven, staring at herself. She was drenched in paint from head to foot...and it smelled horrible.

"Great," she said, "Now I'm going to have to take a bath in thinner...or something like that. Just great! What did I ever do to you?"

Kithara spilled her drink and looked at Raven in surprise.
"What did you do?" she asked, "first, you spilled water on my head, then, paint, and then, more paint!"
Kithara stared at her and laughed. Raven looked wierd--half of her body was blue and the other half was colorful...
"You don't look like the famous Yin-Yang, that's for sure..." she laughed.

"Ok thats enough ladys. Rae why don't you take off those cloths and take a bath? I'll finish up here...and then I'll join you at the hot springs I found around the corner." She pointed in the direction of the springs and went back to work. "And don't worrie the hot water will dissolve the paint."
