Title: Bloodshed Gathering
Description: Dark forces unite...
Lady Darkness - October 16, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
We've waited far to long to, watch it all crash and fall through,
So when you feel like mullet you gotta keep on pushing,
If you saw the world through my eyes, then you wouldn't feel so high rise,
Its time to take our chance you gotta sit back and hold tight
Yes. This was a perfact spot indeed. Lady Darkness sat back to gaze upon the empty, vacant spot in the Drital Qu'ellar Pub. This place was a few blocks down from the main building that most thought to be a tavern for the wondering sinful souls that came to this dangerous part of Lomedor. All she could think about was logic: the Pub was located on the outskirts of Arda's capidal city, making this location very open to the public. She hoped it would attract alot of attention among her fellow 'dark beings', but she wasn't sure. Most of the people here, in this part of the city, were extremely stubbern. And blind... don't forget blind.
There's forces working in our heads but we don't understand them,
I need a map to find my way out all the time,
Theres curses lurking in our heads but we don't want to find them,
We need to come back down and face what we've become.
Demoness assassin Lady Darkness turned on her heel, moving towards the space where there was soon to be a building of obsidian stone. Her fingers anticipated the feeling of cold black rock, of the seething malice aura that would pulse through the earth foundation. She would need help on building the great building: the great halls, the storage rooms, places to make announcements and hold gatherings. All of them required great effort and a whole lot of texture, blood, and sweat. It was time for the dark forces to unite and stand their ground against the opposing force of light and their armies. She alone seeked to envoke a new order in this world of men, cleanse it of the vanity and carve out the scars left behind from defeat against the ever trouble some forces of light. Lady Darkness smiled, thinking of all the potencial the move she'd made had.
The more I think the more I wish I could push stop then hit rewind,
What I would give to have a day back then when no one really cares,
I remember when we all used to kick back take days off school,
So many times I've smiled so many times I cried but never did we try,
Never did we try, because
Flyers blew in the wind around the Pub's boundaries, things she'd left in her wake to help broadcast her idea of starting a Guild to unite the forces of evil. Lady Darkness could only hope they would take the time to look upon them and come the this very location to met with her. This is it. she thought to herself, a wind picking up around her, blowing her raven-dark hair in wisps about her figure. This is our chance to settle the score.
Khan Delnoch - October 28, 2007 11:58 AM (GMT)
The first to arrive was a huge hulking figure, an ogre no less, a hammer the size of the average human slung across his shoulder.
Khan marched through the streets, glaring with anger at any who dared point out that he had been on this self same street four times. He was lost, the flyers being made for people with more than a passing skill in literacy. Stopping to once again get his bearings, he noticed the tavern. How he had missed it before he couldn't fathom, but there it was in all its darkness and forboding, threatening presence. Khan marched through the door and looked around, trying to catch the eyes of anyone who knew the area. The moment he crached through the door he drew the attentions of many of the patrons.
"Right, which of you know where this is?" Khan demanded, jabbing his huge finger at the flyer pinned to the wall by a knife.
The tavern was silent but for the drawing of blades and various other weaponry, and khans rolled his eyes. They had seen an ogre, there were drunk, and he had a price on his head for cauing tavern brawls all across the city. Instead of getting deep into a fight he shrugged, pulled out his crossbow and shot a five inch thick bolt of wood through the wall, daring people to challenge him, then walked out when there were no takers.
Walking around the building, trying to figure out which of the buildings could be the meeting place he saw a figure wandering through the rubble. A young looking woman with no fear on her face, in this area, at this time of night?
Khan grinned wide and Bellowed out to her "Girl! Do you know where the meeting for sinners is?"
Stealth was not a concept familiar to him...
Lady Darkness - October 29, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
I am what I am, so I spit you out!
Do i cut the ties, or do I hold on tight
Time has come for me to realize
All those things I loved I now despise
As the demoness stood, relishing the plotting of her newest scheme, movement sounded from afar. Lady Darkness arched a black brow with a foul curse muttered under her breath. Darn idiot broke her concentration! Just when it fell silent once more, a voice, deep and booming, called out to her. "Girl! Do you know where the meeting for sinners is?" Was this a seeker? A sadistic smile crawled its way to the edges of her thin lips, the tips of her ivory fangs glinting in the cruel moonlight. So he was looking for her Guild, was he? Lady Darkness turned on her heel to face the man in question who had called out to her, her dark hair flying as she did so. As she arched a single hand, that side of her long skirt raised off the barren earth, her dark eyes considering the bulk of flesh before her. He was a big brute, but then again, all troll's were built the same way.
But it’s my life!
(I’m takin back what’s mine)
It’s our time!
(To rise and above)
It’s my life!
(I’m takin back what’s mine)
It’s our time!
"You've come to the right place." she called, beckoning him to come closer so she could get a better look at him. Was this the only one interested in her- their cause? Impossible! "I am Lady Darkness, the Guild Master of the Sinners. And you are?" she gestured to herself as she said her own name, and she gestured to him when she asked of his. Unsure of just who this brute was, Lady Darkness took in a breath to inhale his scent. It wasn't until she noticed the inner malice in it that she slightly relaxed. He didn't look like much of a thinker but more of a killer instead. And a pretty reckless one at that. She'd make sure to change that and help smarten him up, should that be the case. Or stick him with a partner with more brain than brawn.
((Not enough time for a long post. v.v))
Khan Delnoch - October 30, 2007 10:10 AM (GMT)
Khan looked at the girl in disbelief. This was their leader? A girl who looked scarce old enough to even understand the word 'sin'. Then again, she had looked quite confident when she confronted him, and that was something rare even in grizzled warriors. Maybe he judged her too swiftly.
"...Guildmaster of the sinners? I thought The Guild was created to cause Havoc, death and all those other things that bring a Ogre like me work...And the guild master turns out to be young, slim, female and..." Khan shook his head, dimsissing his doubts and holding the flyer aloft "What do i care for the reasons. This fly says Sinners, I sin plenty. You want to know my qualIfik..qualifric..You what to know what I bring?!" Khan stumbled with his words, but he knew full well how to make his point. Grasping his hammer with both hands he swung it to the ground, eyed up a close-by wall and threw all his strength into one huge swing, turning the wall into so much dust and mortar.
"You want strength, I'm your beast. You want someone to guard your things, I'm your beast. You want someone to break a seige, a prison wall, or someones skull...Khan Delnoch's the name"
That had been the longest sentence Khan had ever spoken, and had taken his upwards of three days to plan. The vigilante life was over for him. Too much gold on his head, too many rivals and even friends willing to collect. He needed allies, and if this girl could provide them then he'll follow. And besides, if she proved too weak or the guild proved to be just another clubhouse he could always kill the others, take the gold and find a new city.
He placed his hammer on the ground, along with his crossbow, and walked up to the girl. Extending his hand forward he looked down at her, eyes glinting and teeth showing withing his huge smile "You want me, you got me. Now lets talk sinning"
Khan was too preoccupied with self-pride to notice the dark figure figure swiftly moving along the alley, sword raised and a huge smile on his face.
"What a perfect collection of rogues. A Ogre with more brawn than aherd of buffalo and a..girl...rich blooded...innocent...fresh. The name is Jack, and if either of you know what I mean by 'The Sinners' I may yet let you live"
Lady Darkness - October 31, 2007 03:08 PM (GMT)
Lady Darkness looked at his outstretched hand, mauling over his words. He defiantly wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he definitely had enough brawn to back up his words. Smirking like a true Queen would, the demoness took his hand in a shake, her grip firm and steady. She could tell he didn't know that much about her yet. A sinister smile slithered onto her thin lips, washing away all signs off her smirkish grin. The Dark Knight of Torment would have to teach this ogre a thing or two about demons. "Welcome to The Sinners, Khan." she hissed between her fangs. When she smiled at him, her demonic fangs bared to their roots. "Indeed, we shall speak of the Sinful, and- what's this I smell...?" The black slit in her dark eyes furrowed as her head turned to face the stranger coming their way. A cloaked man with a long glinting silver weapon. Lady Darkness arched a single black brow as he spoke, applying crushing force to Khan's hand for a few heart beats before she released.
"'Let you live'?" Lady Darkness blinked twice and let loose a gut-wrenching laugh. Did this man seriously think she'd be an easy target to kill? "You've got guts. I like that." Cautiously, Lady Darkness stood between both men as a half-way mark, switching her gaze between them both as she spoke. "I am the Guild Master of The Sinners. My name is Lady Darkness. Don't let my lithe figure fool you- I've slaughtered plenty a stubborn fool in my home world and in this one." She rolled her shoulders, cracking the bones in her neck. The sound that erupted from such an action was surprisingly thunderous despite her size and build. Her muscles flexed with every movement she made, evidence of both her training and her skill. She'd make it clear to everyone she come across that the demoness known only as 'Lady Darkness' was no weakling. "I come from a different realm called Silent Ruins. I am a Knight under the service of The Queen of Evil and I've been sent by my Empress to take this world by storm. The forces of light in The Realm of Arda are much too plentiful. Forces of evil must unite against it and fight back with shield and sword, blood and sweat, in order to reclaim this realm." her eyes closed, "I seek to invoke a new order in Man, this world, and its deities. As an assassin and a demon, it is my job to set a Devil's Snare. We will serve as a spear to a soldier. Let us pierce the ranks of light. Khan." she glanced in the ogre’s direction as she said his name, and glanced in the other man's direction as she said 'newcomer'. "Are you with me? Regardless, with or without you, I will drown this world with malice and hate and agony. But I cannot do that alone."
The Dark Knight of Torment reached into the side of her left boot's lace and pulled out an unsheathed dagger. She wasn't prepared to use her sais in this world as of yet, but until then this dagger would serve as her murder weapon. Swords and heavy weapons wasn't her fancy, she chose to use light weighted weapons that could inflict just as much damage as a blade or spear. However, if it ever came down to it, Lady Darkness would use everything in her power to fulfill her mission and plant the seed of malice. She'd meant every single word and regardless, she had a few allies already and she was aware of another Guild called The Covenant rising along with her own. Though she preferred to lead her own forces, she would join the Guardian of Shadows if she had to. And now that she thought about it, she wanted to set an audience with him in order to install an alignment between her Guild and his on both a business and personal level. Lady Darkness was also aware of a Guild for light aliened forces that had to be taken out of the picture with a quickness. Sadly though, that was much too numerous for them at the moment. Lady Darkness wanted to work her way up to all the 'big games'. Another thing was Malvianna Neid. Lady Darkness had to have a sit down with that girl of her's pretty soon. Convince her to join The Sinners and their cause, even if she had to tell a few little lies to do it.
Silver simmered upon the ground from the hilt of her dagger, dancing in streams of luminous doom as Lady Darkness sliced it through the air. The dagger that had silenced the voices of the group of paladin’s and the group of drow that she had been sent to assassinate, the very weapon that she’d come to Arda with. It still had its uses while the hilt was still good and rust free and she intended to use it for such purposes. Pausing in mid step, the demoness crossed her arms in the air in an ‘X’ shape- the dagger slicing down and her flexed claws slicing in an upward motion. She presented the hilt in front of her cold, pale face as she stood straight once more between the two men. Lady Darkness cut in a downward motion with her left arm (which held the dagger) to point towards the ogre. ”You,” she tossed the dagger in the air, catching the handle with her opposite hand to gesture in the newcomers direction. ”And you. If you’re interested in joining the cause, then we have planning to do for our first mission. But before that…” The demoness turned on her heel, twirling the dagger twice to allow the hilt to rest against the back of her ebony gloved arm, with an extended dark clawed hand pointing towards the vacant space where she’d planned to build The Sinner’s gathering ‘fortress’. ”We will build our fortress from scratch. It will build stamina and deepen muscle/physical strength. The fortress of The Sinner’s Guild will be of our own craft- it doesn’t taste as sweet if we do not work for it. What say you?”
Khan Delnoch - December 12, 2007 03:23 PM (GMT)
Khan blanched at the idea of sharing this guild with such a weak human male, and graspe dhis hammer in both hands, hurtling it toward the humans frail figure. The poor thing never saw it coming, and as the hammer struck him it lodged in his chest, hurtling him from his feet and embedding him in a nearby ruined wall.
The apparent applicee had been known as Jack the wry, and was known througout the land for conning leaders. He had been hunted down by the much more feared Smilin' Jack, but had managed to lead him intoan abush, leaving The more powerful and dangerous jack to die. SInce then Jack the wry had taken on the persona Of Smilin' jack, but had never been as successful. And now, as his lifeblood drained away, with the few seconds of life he had left, he regretted ever having heard the name...
Khan watched all this with a fleeting glee. While the bloodshed had cheered him, it was no fight, and now he lusted for a challenge worthy of one of his staure. Turning to the guildmistress he smiled, and lowered onto one gargantuan knee.
"If you need strength and willpower to begin this, then I will be of great service. If however you plan to take this weaking city for your own we may need more sinners. Thsi city of rife with it, but only a sparse few will be any use. So whats out first move?"
Khan rose and headed towards his hammer, wrenching it from the swiftly cooling corpse. Ripping the head from the torso he stored it in his belt for a later snack. Hardly an evil act, he mused, after all...would be a shame to leave it all to waste. Turning back to Lady Darkness he awaited her orders, hoping they would involve something other that sneaking in the dark, as was the way with many evil deeds.
Lady Darkness - December 12, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
Khan was like a powerhouse; he struck a nearby human with little or no effort at all, broke his skull with his hammer. The demoness smiled. He was a brute alright and with her brains, they’d make a magnificent team. As the ogre collected his hammer from the carcass, he bent his large knee to her and spoke. "If you need strength and willpower to begin this, then I will be of great service. If however you plan to take this weakling city for your own we may need more sinners. This city of rife with it, but only a sparse few will be any use. So, whats out first move?" Lady Darkness smiled, tracing her lower lip once as if in thought. Speaking of other members, weren’t there others who were interested in joining her organization of sin? ”You needn’t worry, Khan.” she grinned evilly, baring her fangs as she did so. ”There are more members out there. They just haven’t shown their faces yet. And as for our first move… hmmm. We need something big to announce our name with a BANG!”
The demoness made sure the coast was clear by inhaling and peeking around in the ever dark, ever mindful of what could be lurking in the high branches of the trees. ”Ah. I’ve just the thing. Don’t you know the ambassador of this city? How’s about we take him out of our way? With him gone, the bands of paladins and such will be in complete disarray and we will be free to do as we please.” she paused for a dramatic effect there. ”Perhaps a few bar brawls would be more along the lines of your taste… Tell me what you think. Any plans bigger than that?” she asked. As guildmaster, her word was final but as a leader, Lady Darkness chose the hear the words of her people.
(Not enough time.)
Khan Delnoch - December 12, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
(no problem. Sometimes shorter posts can get the job done faster anyway)
Khan smiled slyly at the though of tavern brawls. He had been giving beatings throughout this city, and indeed this world, for years now, but brawls no longer sated his fury.
"If you want my services, and it looks like you may well need them, then I expect more than a few bar brawls. Them I can do, and win, all by myself. If the city won't take us as a serious threat then why begin?"
Khans brow furrowed massively as he began to think. He was never the best thinker, preferring to solve any problems with strength. So how could he apply that skill to the advancement of the guild... It came to him in an instant.
"That ambassador...you say we need him gone? Why don't we show our true strength? Take him when he is surrounded by guards, break him piece by piece against a temple, smash his home and his life with sheer brute force!"
Khan was arrogant and looked down on any non-ogre, so his plans would never be subtle. However, with enough people, or even just enough power, this could be just the act the Sinners needed to cement themselves as the pre-eminent power.
"we need more members...give me two good fighters, good at surviving hard battles, and I'll take care of his guards. You and anyone else that comes use the distraction to steal him away"
Khan unslung his crossbow, a ballista to any other race, and loaded a bolt. hafting it over his shoulder he sat in the centre of the meeting place and awaited others. he had taken on the role of the first test, the thing prospectives needed to pass before they dared see the Lady Darkness.

Vex was tired. She didn't know up from down, left from right (now could she make an L with her left hand or with her right hand? No wait-) and was guiding herself by pure instinct. She had- she admitted still pissed at herself- gotten lost. In a swamp. Where food was rather scarce thank you very much.
No, not food, beer. Beer was rather scarce. And that was a major, MAJOR piss-off. Vex had decided, then and there, that nature was definitely not her shtick.
Still, she was here on business. She had lost track of her companion person a while back and, frankly, could care less. Assassins were a brave bunch of souls and with one more down and dead (hopefully) she had less competition. That meant better rates, more pay and at the end of the day- more beer!
...but it also meant that she had gotten lost in a swamp. With no beer. Grag.
Shuddering a bit at that horrifying memory she made her way, swiftly and surely, past the darkened buildings and closed shops. Here and there, firelight guttered and small insects buzzed around lit torches. The stench of vomit mixed with blood and sour piss was getting stronger and stronger. Excellent. Drunks meant stuff to get drunk on- and that meant that Vex was heading in the right direction. She spotted a few homeless beggars sleeping soundly in their self-imposed stupors and she walked past them.
Then she walked backwards and kicked one in the head. Just because. Fortunately for it, it didn't wake. Vex sighed irritably- she was looking for a fight. But she was looking forwards to getting a good drink more. Kicking the bag of meat and bones aside she made her way towards the tavern-
Which opened to a rather interesting sight.
"YOU!" She said, spotting the ogre. And then spotting the ridiculously oversized weapon her eyes widened and she started to dive for cover-
Lady Darkness - December 13, 2007 05:09 AM (GMT)
(ACK! Great Adra, here comes the flood!)
She had left the first plot undecided for many reasons. One, the demoness had to make certain there was a bit of brain behind all that brawn. Two, she wanted to know that Khan could think for himself. Lady Darkness could plainly see that the brute wasn't used to thinking and plottage, but it was the effort he gave her that made her thin lips curl into a wicked grin. "That ambassador...you say we need him gone? Why don't we show our true strength? Take him when he is surrounded by guards, break him piece by piece against a temple, smash his home and his life with sheer brute force!" She was so proud of him that she almost felt the urge to kiss him. Almost felt the urge. The demoness nodded solemnly with his plan. "Very well done, Khan. I knew I could count on you." she smiled, then added, "And in addition to that, I can also create a divertion that would give us all the cutting edge of the blade." Her claws flexed at the end of her sentence, the word 'cutting' having been hissed through her sets of ivory fangs. A spark emitted from the tip of her claw followed by another. In an instant, a chain of fire danced 'round her fingers like a soul directed only by the rise and fall of her flexing claws and tendons. "If you catch my drift."
She was having the exact same thoughts as he was. It would be no problem taking down a few insignificant guards and their leader; she and her drow partner Vencrest had once slaughtered an entire band of paladin's just to obtain a bit of information. Lady Darkness's craftsmanship of his severe corpse was one of her many masterpieces and that certainly had the people of Lomedor, along with the rest of Arda, buzzing with gossip about the alledged murderer or murderess. A smug smile cracked her lips as she thought of the sweet, sweet memory of painting 'Welcome to Hell' on the wall behind the altar on which she had strapped him in his own blood. She would do the same with the ambassador in front of the eyes of thousands, even millions of civilians. Lady Darkness embraced the opening act of the Sinner's with sheer anticipation. Also in addition, she thought to herself, One must be kept alive in order to tell the tale. And when he's finnished... Her seething hand closed and the spark of fire was gone in a puff of smoke.
As Khan spoke once more, the demoness licked the edges of her jaws hungerishly. She would do so much more than 'steal him away'. The ogre layed down his crossbow, equipped with a barbed arrow, both of them standing in silence while they waited. Vibrations echoed through her figure suddenly, as if she could feel herself kicking someone. Lady Darkness turned abuptly on her heels, her demonic eyes piercing through the darkness. A scent as dank as rotten fish wafted into her nostrils along with the contorted aura of another demoness- a rauko. She hadn't seen nor communicated with a basic demon in thousands of years- The Mistress of Torment was suddenly seethingly curious of this other demonic female.
In the distance, her demon's sight picked up the red color of wings from a slightly tall figure. Lady Darkness closed her eyes, drowning out the sounds of everything around her, focusing only on the sounds in front of the two Sinner's. She could hear the pulse of blood veins in thin layers of flesh, feel the vibrations of every foot fall through the ground, and smell the dank scent of alcohol. No wonder the other demoness's scent was dank! The Dark Knight of Torment noted that she was headed towards the tavern when her gaze laid upon Khan and Lady Darkness herself. "YOU!" the rauko yelled. After her outburst, the other demoness spotted Khan's cross bow and fell into a dive as if to dodge the barbbed arrows. It took her some time to remember that not all demon's were pain-prone like she and a few others were.
Smiling in mischevious glee, Lady Darkness edged slightly closer to get a better vantage point of this to be entertaining show of agility and calculation. The other demoness appeared to be quite skilled in moving silently, smirking at the thought that she had to tune into her senses to register her footsteps, and she was more than curious to see just how well Vex would handle the situation. She looked like a common sellsword- her rough appearance and odor said it all. I have so much to teach them... Lady Darkness thought with a simple shake of her head. Training Khan the ogor and this new demoness (should she show interest) would prove to be interesting... especially if they kept fighting like rivals.
Khan Delnoch - December 22, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Khan stood silently, looking for all the world like a statue, huge, imposing, but ultimately no threat. And the ploy would have worked had the first person to swoop by not recognised him. The glint of memory caught Khans mind and he saw blood, mountains of snow and himself in chains, being rescued of all things by this winged demoness.
His first instinct was to thank her, but seeing the Lady Darkness he knew to show weakness now would be disastrous. The winged demoness thankfully acted as someone in danger would and flew to cover, giving Khan few moments to plan. Shrugging away any preconception of stealth or subtly he fired his crossbow towards the crates, gathered up his hammer still dripping with blood from the previous kill and charged, bellowing out his war cry. The war cry of the ogres was feared throughout the land, partly because they were huge angry monstrous creatures with oversized weapons, and partly because every ogres had some small vestiges of magical power. The very first thing they were taught was to impose pure fear into their voices, and this became hugely powerful when roared out. Especially when said ogre was wielding a hammer the size of a pony.
Khan figured he would either scare off the winged demoness, whose name still escaped him, or else would break her. The thought never occured to him that she may fight back, or even that she would want to join...
Ninelives - December 23, 2007 12:22 AM (GMT)
Little demon girls tended not to care about prince charmings or their rather hamstringed vocabulary and ham-fisted way that they forced others to bow down to this rather... poor excuse for vocabularizing. So Vex cursed. Very fluently and in several different and difficult languages including but not limited to English, elvish, daemonic, drow and a bunch of other dark and shadowy languages that had _very_ descriptive meanings placed into very small words. Where else would you find a two syllable word that meant "I shall gut and kill your children from generations to come even as you write and die in the flaming pits of Hell?" then Daemonic? Course, it was a specialized form aof mental torture and thus there was a reason for its existence.
But still, damn useful words right there.
And Vex knew, Vex always knew, that she only dared speak them because she couldn't focus. Training in Hel was brutal and everyone found their own personal way to survive. It was always survive, day after day after day- and there was but one way to do it. Partition the mind, let parts drift away unneeded, keeping only the choice tasty bits for safeguarding. It was the only way to survive. Vex focused her life through swears, forced her spasming muscles that were still trying to move, trying so hard to just -move- to get away from the enraged ogre. She didn't expect any better from it even though she had saved its life, good acts never got anyone anywhere in life, she had learned this lesson as a life lesson and though it had been hard... she had been happy when the lesson was over.
Moving, straining, cursing and forcing her muscles to work out of sheer willpower she considered retreating and moving forward and licked dry lips. She doubted she could even make it out the door. Her wings had spasmodically extended and she couldn't close them anymore- she couldn't go back out.
It was do or die time.
She charged the ogre.
Khan Delnoch - January 6, 2008 11:45 PM (GMT)
Khan watched as the demonic being shook with the struggle of fighting off the fear, readying himself to gloat or to fight. Few mortals would ever be able to fight it off, but then demons were by very definition not mortal. Bunching every muscle in his legs ready to leap forward he was surprised both by the long stream of foul curse's, none of them debilitating, and then sudden attack as the demon leapt forward directly at him. Thrown off guard it was all Khan could do to avoid the charging demon...so he didn't.
Bracing himself for impact Khan concentrated, bring every ounce of resistance to bear. His mind wandered to the first time he had seen this demoness, snow blinding him, slowing him, making his lethargic and unco-ordianted. He had been beaten by Orcs, lost his entire band of Ogres and had been starved. And even then they had both, along with the aid of a few others, fended off an entire orcish clan.
Now they were both healed and ready for battle, and eager to show their prowess before the Lady Darkness. Khan had vowed never to be weak, never to be beaten. Demons were famed for their skill, strength and immortality. He would put that fame to the test. Instead of standing and taking the charge, Khan pulled back his fist and slammed it forwards towards the charging Vex's torso, aiming to knock her off balance. However, he was too late and she crashed into him, knocking him off balance, though not to the floor. Enraged, Khan clasped both hands and brought them down towards her skull, blinded now by pride and rage.
