Skjar walked into the empty Inn, as he sniffed around, the air was dirty as it smelt like blood, which Skjar was no stranger to. He unhooded him self, making sure to keep his cloak on to hide his scimitar, hanging from the torn leather sheathe on his belt. As he sat down, man walked over to him, he was obviously drunk as he started to tell Skjar about his girlfriend. Skjar looked back at him, scowling. "Please leave me be, sir" the man looked back, swinging too and fro. "NO I WAS HERE FIRST" He yelled in return. "Please sir, your making a fool of yourself" Skjar whispered as he looked around noticing the people staring at him.
"NO, YOUR MAKING A FOOL OF YOURSELF MATE" the drunk yelled, continously poking Skjars chest. Skjars reflexes proved to much for the drunken man as he gripped his finger and snapped the bone inside it. The drunk let out a scream of agony, "NOBODY MESSES WITH JULIUN POMPEY, NOONE!" Juliun Pompey, What thats my target! Skjar said in his mind instantly.
Gripping The drunken target, he dragged him upstairs, and around the corner to the empty room, where he swiftly drew his scimitar. "What'd you think that'l.."
The man was cut off with a quick slash to the throat. Dropping him to the floor quickly, Skjar ran back down the stairs and re-emerged from the Inn, he returned back to his Buyer to collect the pay.
Skjar revisited the Inn months later, this time to pay a "visit" to the Innkeeper. Skjar knew him well, and didn't want to do it but the gold pieces he would make was so tempting. Skjar reached the bar, in the coldest of weather, the wind pushes against him, forcing his cloak off him, which he quickly retrieved and swung back around himself. He was shaking, It was in the middle of a storm and rain was pouring, drenching Skjars clothes and hair.
As he entered the bar the Innkeeper was nearly closing up, but he insisted Skjar should stay out from the rain. He offered Skjar a beer, but he couldnt take it, he could not take things from a man he was just about to kill. No, that just wouldn't be right, Its not right in the first place to think about killing him Skajr though. But i have too, i need this money to feed myself and my daughter, oh I'm going to hell when I die.. Skjar talked the Innkeeper up, forcing him to drink beers and get him drunk. By the 6th Beer, the Innkeeper was totally out of it, Skjar had only taken 1 beer, which he spilt most of on the floor to avoid getting drunk.
Skjar reached for his blade, gripping the hilt made him feel a sense that he felt before every murder, Lust. Skjar made it quick, drew his blade and took the Innkeeper upstairs, throwing him over the table. The Innkeeper didn't know where he was. One quick slash, thats all He thought as he raised his blade, driving it into the mans left arm. Skjar flicked the blade back, slashing across the mans chest before driving it through his heart. a Pool of blood built up and spilt over the table, flowing onto the wooden floor below. Skjar had done his job, now it was time to leave.
Elexis knew that strange man that entered the inn had murder in his heart. The way he nervously looked around, him getting the keeper drunk. It was all so crude. She lounged in the chair. Whoever he was he sure didn't notice her unlike most men due to her almost unnatural beauty. she smirked to herself, the innkeeper's death upstairs almost shrieking in her head but to Elexis it was music in her ears. She was half succubus after all, she had strange senses for things and death was one of them. "I wonder what it was for, he wasn't professional like she was, too nervous and if he was an assassin he would have poisoned the first beer," she murmured to herself. Probably blackmailed.
Elexis chuckled silently to herself, that was probably it, simply blackmailed into killing the innkeeper for some unapparent reason. She stood up, when she was in human form Elexis almost looked like just an incredibly attractive woman except for her crimson eyes . She walked out of the inn. "I think I'll make this interesting for this murderer." Chuckling yet again as she opened the door and left the inn oblivious to the cold outside.
