Title: Catch and Release

Dasyra Lothlorn - October 4, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
It was sunny outside and a small breeze was making ripples in the water of the lake. For some time now she had been traveling and hadn't taken a break from walking in almost 3 days. With the breeze her hair blew back with the same affect the lake was having, just little ripples here and there.

Her shoulders were killing her though. From walking all the time she had accumilated a couple of bruises on her shoulders from carring her backpack, her quiver, and her bow. It wasn't much but not taking it off and having that constant rubbing on her shoulders started to show.

It was about time she took it off so she pulled the three items off and laid them down where she could see them when she swam off into the lake. Being that of an elementalist she looked down into the water and saw a couple of water lilys that had not yet bloomed yet. She moved her hand over it and they bloomed out into beautiful flowers. She smiled then pulled off her elven made brown vest and threw it over ontop of her bag and things leaving her in her shirt and shorts.

Without a second thought she moved up close to the water again then took a dive down into the water making ever part of her body wet. She swam down until her feet touched the bottom then kicked off the slippery bottom and popped her head up out of the water. Oh how good this water felt along her body and all. She smiled then began to do a backstroke around in one certain area.

The sun was now setting behind the mountains and she had been swimming for a good length of time now. She swam back over to the shore and climbed up and out of the water where she was standing on the surface of the water. Being so light weighted she could stand on this without falling back and getting wet. She moved over to the grassy shore and laid down placing one of her hands behind her head. Her blonde silky hair was shinning with the sunset and her body was glistening from the water. There was nothing else that could have been as perfect as this.

Darius - October 7, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
((OOC: Dasyra gave me permission to godmod her character for this post, otherwise there would be a multitude of one liners just to get her to where im going))

Darius had been stalking his prey for quite some time. He had been to Lake Aelin a few times before, and so he knew the lay of the land fairly well. In fact, he knew almost every cave in the area, and he already had one picked out. This girl was of importance. Why, he did not know. That's what he was going to find out. But to find that out, he would have to kidnap, and question her. The kidnapping shouldn't be too hard, since Darius was a good foot taller than her. The questioning would be the tricky part. He had heard that Elves were resiliant and proud, and would not willingly bow to the will of others. He would have to see just how far this one would be pushed before she broke.

Taking the form of a small red fox, Darius trotted around the lake, watching, biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in and snatch her. Finally he found it. The sun was setting, and the girl had risen out of the water and laid down on the grass. He trotted over to her, staying out of view. He morphed back into his human self, and picked up a large tree branch. He walked casually over to her. Her hair flowed out, shimmering in the setting sun, as was her wet body. Darius would have taken a moment to appreciate this fine figure, if he hadn't had a job to do. He walked up behind her, stood, legs on either side of her head, and brought the branch down hard. It hit her, knocking her unconcious.

Taking the form of a large black bear, Darius hefted the girl onto his back. He walked away towards the cave that he had picked out, set her down, turned back into his human form, and tied her to a hollowed out tree trunk, face up, her back against the trunk. Her arms were tied down to her sides by the thick cord of rope. Darius built a small fire, sat on a log across from the girl, and waited for his partner.

Luces had slung a dark animal over his back. He had just gone hunting and was more than starving. As he settled down in the woods near the lake, he remember the meeting. A meeting with a friend he had met. Sighing, he picked up the deer, cut some slabs off the chunky belly, wrapped them up, and started for Daruis's cave. It would be a long night with his partner to break this elf. How delightful.

With in minuets, he spotted the cave. A human sat around a small fire with an elf tied up against the tree next to him. With his dire wolf trailing behind him, begging for the meat, he slitthered up to the man. "Good evening, Darius. Did you get her?" he asked, tossing the meat to the side while motioning to the elf.

Looking up as soon as the branch came towards her she had no time to react. When it hit her she was completely knocked out. Her bag and weapons were still laying by the lake indicating that indeed someone was there and that someone was laying where she was.

After she had been carried off into the cave she knew that something wasn't going right because she was starting to come to but not that much. She could feel her arms and legs and whole body being tied down but she just though it was a dream. About an hour of sitting there in her binds she finally woke up and looked around to see Darius sitting by a fire.

She pulled at her arms to see if they would come up but they didn't. She did the same to the rest of her body and now realized that this wasn't a dream and that she had just been captured y what seemed to be a madman. She jerked and struggled to get free but it again was not working.

"YOU BASTARD...LET ME GO..."

She turned her head to now see a wolf figure coming into the cave and he was staring at her. While they spoke she tried to get her binds untied and screamed.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME..."

Darius - October 8, 2007 09:54 PM (GMT)
Darius looked up as his partner, Luces, walked in, his dire wolf trailing behind him. Luces asked whether he got the girl or not. Duh.

"Wait, let me check," Darius said sarcastically, pointedly looking over at the Elf. "Yup. I do believe that I got her."

The shapeshifter looked into the fire for a few seconds, planning out what to do next. Now that his partner was here, he could go back to the lake and dispose of all of the evidence. He rose slowly, but before he could do or say anything, the Elf came to and egan to scream.

"Shut up!" Darius yelled. He grabbed his cloak, ripped off the hood, and shoved it into the Elf's mouth. "That's what you get for yelling." he said. Darius turned to Luces. "Watch her for me. I have to go back to the lake and get rid of any trace that she was there.

Darius morphed into a black bear and trotted over to the lake, back to where he had kidnapped the girl from. He nudged the equipment with his nose, much like a curious bear would do normally. He then grabbed everything in his teeth and on his back, and brought it all back to the cave.

When he reached the cave he morphed back into his human self.

"Now we shall find out what she knows," Darius said mischeiviously. "Unless either of you have an objection?" The shapeshifter looked from the Elf to his partner.

Luces looked at him with glinting eyes when his partner was offended. "Sorry about that. I was just wondering." He shrugged and looked into the distance. Moments later, a yell from the hostage made his canine friend jump. He made no move, for he knew that Darius would do something about it. He was right. Then next command caught him off guard. "Watch her for me. I have to go back to the lake and get rid of any trace that she was there." He was going to argue but the shapeshifter went about without any reply.

It was silent for the next moment before Luces talked to the hostage. "So, what brought you here?" Silence. "You know what you are in for. It's going to be rather quiet painful if you don't cooperate. But in the mean time, we can..." He stop short as there was a faint russle and a black bear arrived. The black bear walked foward before turning back into a human.

"Now we shall find out what she knows," Darius said mischeiviously. "Unless either of you have an objection?" The shapeshifter looked from the Elf to his partner.

Luces snorted. "I have no objection. But at least we could look down her shirt." He smirked and turned away. "What's her name?"

Dasyra Lothlorn - October 9, 2007 01:48 AM (GMT)
When he pushed the cloak piece into her mouth she continued to scream until it was fully in her mouth she tried to spit it out but it just wouldn't budge. She closed her eyes and turned her head down towards the ground. She had never been put in this situation and for the first time in a long time she was actually scared of the outcome.

Her eyes panned up at Marget as he said "lets look down her shirt". She jumped at him but she was held down by the binds. Her eyes turned into a bright yellow for she was trying to morf into another animal form but it wasn't working. It was like there was some sort of barrier around this cave.

"MMMM...MMMMMMM..."

For a while now she tried to scream hoping someone would come but they had been there for a couple of hours and no one had came. No one in the world really knew about her because she was a wanderer. She had no home, no family she was just alone. Tears were starting to form in her eyes. Why these men wanted her was a myth to her. He asked if anyone objected.

"OBMMMM OBMMMMM OBJMMMM..."

Marget - October 11, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
Luces laughed as the elf tried to speak. "What's the matter, eh? Cat got your tounge?" He cackled again before turning to his partner. "By the way, Darius, I invited another friend of mine. She's a female shapeshifter." He turned away before he could see the shapeshifter's expression, gazing into the now setting sun. Where is she? He wondered as he scanned the horizon, only seeing his wolf and a dark, deer-like shape among the trees.

Leonardo Glaiven - October 26, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
Leonardo was walking in the near area but to far away to see anything or hear much as he suddenly heard a cry out from the distance of a young woman. He only heard her first sentence as the sound was carried off in a distance. The young monk slowly went down into a sprinting position and focused his mind into his leg muscles to warn them of the long sprint they were going to go through he also knew that by the time the day was over his body will be aching and probably resent what type of stress he put it through.

Leonardo then quickly bolted across the ground as he moved with great speed for a human nearly but not quite matching the speed of a Elf. His eyes scanned the terrain as he continued to sprint until he came across the water. He stopped and kneeled down as if examining evidence his eyes. He spotted a spot of water as if someone was laying down to dry off. His eyes went wide as he then saw a few drag marks until he assumed she was finally picked up. He then sprinted into the direction where the marks pointed.

Finally after about forty-five minutes of sprinting he came across a cave. He quickly crouched behind a rock to listen for noises. He heard a sound of mumbling maybe blocked off words as he heard another person talk as if mocking someone. He quickly went prone as he crawled silently towards the cave. Being rather careful to stay out of prying eyes. Sweat dripped down his body as he got closer and closer to there location.
