Laufeia fell in an exhausted heap at the edge of the pond, tears streaming down ehr face, and a shean of sweat covering ehr body, laying on the cool dirt felt so much better than the horror she had just faced. Hearing a noise above her she stiffly rolled on ehr back to see above ehr, she gasped in horror as a demon fell and slmost landed on her, just then she jerked to the left and narrowly missed getting squished by it. Screaming she scrambled on the ground and searched for a place to escape to. She tried to take flight but it grabbed her wings and threw her on the ground again.
Kicking on its head she managed to free her wings but they were so damaged she couldnt fly anymore, running into the forest she weaved herself inbetween the trees trying to loose the demon which she knew was a lost cause but she still had to try. Dashing behind a tree she peaked around it and peered throught he trees and the advanceing demon and closed them praying he wouldnt find her. Turning her head backa round she came within inches of bonking heads with the demon.
the demon gave one cocky grin and unsheathed his dagger and with one forceful thrust sent it through her ribcage by ehr stomch, she didnt feel pain she felt nothingness jsut a dull throbbing and then nothing. As the demon grinned and came closer he wispered rot in hell u nastay fairy. Dissappearing through the trees her eyes followed him, as she held her hands to the wound and staaggered forward. Kneeling in the grass she had only one thought, "Help me" she fell on her stomach tears leaking form her eyes as she cried and struggled to stay awake.
Gil-Estel loved this region. The soft falling of the waterfalls. The delicate singing of the birds. The loud screaming of fairies...
Wait a minute! That wasn't right! Drawing his bow and nocking an arrow, he ran in the direction of the screaming, only to see a fairy girl kneeling in the middle of a glade. He started towards her, but before he had even taken a second step, he was knocked over by a large demonic figure.
He rolled, narrowly missing being stabbed by the demon's evil blade. Realising that he'd dropped his bow, he took advantage of the few seconds while the demon's blade was wedged into the soft earth to look for it. Seeing it lying about ten metres away, he sprung forwards, grabbing it, he spun round and shot an arrow at the demon, strinking him in the heart. The demon fell to the floor, dead.
Gil-Estel wheeled around, and ran towards the poor bleeding fairy. Looking at the wounds he realised that only quick treatment and a large amount of rest was going to be any help. "Stay here." he said softly, "I'll be back as soon as I can". He ran off into the forest in search of the herbs he knew would help the wound.
He returned five minutes later, bearing the herbs he needed. He rubbed the herbs into the wound. "Now," he said "tell me what happened"
