Title: Abandoned Home...

Tithy - January 11, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
Tithdaeron stopped at the entrance to the Sanctuary. His old home, he had dared not return for near 6 or so years. Cast out, because when he came for shelter the other angels sensed what he could only fear then. That he was his own opposite, his own worst enemy. Tithdaeron stepped through the courtyard, a few buildings could be seen and where there was buidlings, were only desecrated ruins of them.

The sight shocked him, sent him twirling into despair. His home had been wrecked, ripped, and left alone. A lone tear strode down his face, while it became a firestorm of anger and a feirce tremble blew through his body. Anger, and sadness for the lost dignity.

He clench his fists, and looked around again, hopeful that there would be at least on angel left here. One that could help his tortured... souls. But he saw none, and collapsed onto the ground, silently weeping. "No... they have left it. Left it to the wind, rain, and snow." he muttered, and he slammed his fist into the ground.

Ha! See what good your precious family has done! They abandoned you, and then your most prized posession, this place. said Evil One, triumphant in Tithdaeron's sadness.

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 13, 2006 01:40 AM (GMT)
Loriauna stepped out from the shadows, gently laying a hand on Tithdaeron's shoulder. No words were needed...she had been depressed by the sight as well. This place had been abandoned by those who were supposed to protect and keep it in shape...the once glorious sanctuary was now a mass of ruins that only resonated faint traces of their original magic. It was like shadows of the angels rather than angels themselves…weak and faint…like comparing a faint wisp of wind to a hurricane. It was very disheartening, and made Loriauna’s core go cold and hard…as if her heart were suddenly a stone.

So she just stood there, her hand gently laid against Tithdaeron’s shoulder, providing silent support for her crestfallen companion.

((Sorry for the long wait time. Finals. Bleh.))

Tithdaeron slowly started to put himself back together when he felt that familiar hand on his shoulder. He wiped the tears from his face, and looked up at the ruins of his old home one last time. Looking past a torn down building, he could see his home in the distance. The door on it was missing, and one of the walls had a hole in it.

"Ironic..." he managed to say, "...that you are here. Shouldnt you be... heh... I dont even know what you do, except maybe hunt vampires. Considering you know so much about them..." Tithdaeron stood up slowly, and shook the flood feeling from his head. Evil One had silenced himself out of respect for the fallen city, rather than out of ease of pain for Tithdaeron.

"Is that why you always seem to be able to find me?" he asked, now turning to look at her. That beutiful face that had him spellbound, the one he swore himself to protect, even to the death, or worse.

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 20, 2006 05:26 PM (GMT)
"The blood we shared, I suppose...maybe entwined destinies. I figure there's no reason to know why. We just, somehow, know." Calmly, she raised her hand to his cheek gently, cupping it in a comforting way. "As for what I do, even I'm not entirely sure. Odd jobs of extreme danger, I suppose."

Calmly, she put her arms around him, holding him gently. "But, if you need me, I somehow find my way to you. I'm not complaining...being with you tends to be interesting."

((Bleh. Short.))

Tithy - January 21, 2006 06:36 AM (GMT)
Tithdaeron smiled and put his arms around her too, and he felt her curiously running her hands along his wings. He looked into the sky, and then back down at her, his face was still moist from his weeping before. "Blood we shared... you did not receive any of my own, you had given all to me, and still do." Tithdaeron said, and then stopped for a second.

"I want to sacrifice something for you. I want you to have a part of me with you as well, just as I have a part of you." he continued, peering into the cold mysterious eyes, the ones that had him hypnotized, unable to look at anything else but her. "Miserable thing that I am, that I am enslaved to 3 masters!" he said jokingly, and then leaned forward and kissed her lightly on her forehead.

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 21, 2006 12:36 PM (GMT)
Loriauna raised an eyebrow coyly as Tithdaeron kissed her, a small smirk tugging at her lips. She wondered what he could possibly mean...it struck her as odd for him to say such things...perhaps it was best to not fully understand everything going on in his head. Something still drove at her though...she needed to talk to the Evil One alone...

"Tithdaeron, I know this seems as an odd request, but may I please speak to the Evil One...alone?" Yes, an odd thought, but perfectly logical. If Tithdaeron allowed the Evil One control for enough time for Loriauna to talk with him, then Loriauna could answer the questions she had had. Besides, she doubted the Evil One would not allow Tithdaeron control again...they had seemed to have bonded a bit more recently. They were more companin that enemy now.

Tithy - January 22, 2006 11:05 PM (GMT)
"I normally would say no to anyone, but because you seem to have some sort of spell called 'Love' cast on me, I am afraid I am obligated to do so..." said Tithdaeron, with reluctance in his voice, followed by a slightly nervous chuckle. What was the saying he had heard his father say once? 'The things I do for love!?'

Tithdaeron bowed his head breifly, and then rose it. Evil One was their, Tithdaeron's chaotic eyes now a storm of queit fury, rather than the stalwart sadness. It was Tithdaerons body, but Evil One's mind and intentions that were now in the physical dimension before Loriauna. Awkradly, he relinquished Tithdaeron's grasp on her, and took a slight step back.

Evil One looked around, as if he had never been here before, then remembered what was going on. He looked back to Tithdaeron, and said in his dark and steely tones "How is the lady this depressing day?"

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 23, 2006 12:02 PM (GMT)
"Quite an optimistic fellow, aren't you?" Loriauna commented, raising an eyebrow to the Evil One. "I figured you would be happier to be able to have a face-to-face conversation, Mister...hm." Loriauna thought for a moment, then looked the Evil One in the eye. "Come to think of it, I don't know what to call you. 'Evil One' sounds a bit...odd."

Now was her chance to speak with Evil One...she had some things to figure out. If she were to be with Tithdaeron, she needed to know about this part of him too.

Tithy - January 23, 2006 03:30 PM (GMT)
"If you wish, you may call me Tithdaeron as well. I have not chosen a name for my actualy being, and since the name of the body I inhabit is Tithdaeron, it seems logical. However, should you decide a name for me that I find pleasing, I may choose that one." said Evil One, an evil glint flashing in his eyes.

When Evil One had control, his eyes were almost glazed, as if hiding something. The glint was uniquie, something had caught his attention. If anything... he began to think to himself, I would want an evil name. But, I cannot as yet think of any... perhaps Tithdaeron should be presently able to assist me in that endeavor, unless Loriauna proves fitting to that cause

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 23, 2006 09:58 PM (GMT)
"Perhaps...Morte would fit you." She seemed to glare into his very core for a moment, as if analyzing his soul to see whther or not it fit him. "Yes...Morte." Pleased with her choice, she readied herself for her next question.

"As a part of Tithdaeron, I wasn't sure if you got any say it, but...I wanted to know how you felt about this whole situation. Seeing as to how you reside in his body, it seemed respectful to ask you for your...acceptance. Do you want me to be with Tithdaeron or are you against it?"

She had wondered about this for a while...it bugged her to no end. She did not wish to be with Tithdaeron if Morte, as she had now decided on naming him, caused inner turmoil for Tithdaeron. She respected Morte's decision...he was wise, even if he was evil, and he had a say in this.

Tithy - January 24, 2006 04:31 PM (GMT)
Morte... an interesting name, it struck dignity and respect inside of Evil One, it felt powerful, firm, but not brutal. Not unwieldy, uncontrolled, just right. It was to his liking, and Morte, as he now decided to be nodded at the name. "It is good." he said, then he paused for a moment to let it sink in. Morte...

Then he carfeully considered Loriauna's question. Was it something to be trifled over, that Loriuana and Tithdaeron had these feelings? Morte did not think it so. It did not harm him in any way he could see at present or future, and even though he was evil, he still enjoyed that some could fall in love with one another and have a beutifull relationship.

"Even with my dark heart, I can understand the feelings Tithdaeron has for you, and the ones you have for him. It is acceptable to me, for you see, I was born under similar circumstances. Tithdaeron has been tortured ever since that fated night when his first love betrayed him, and created me within him. I had originaly thought the tortured soul to be a foolish one, but after some time studying it, I saw the wound it had created, the blood spilled because of it." Morte explained, pausing for a moment to let it sink in.

"You healed that wound. The night you let him have some of your blood, the night you took pity on him, that wound started to heal. The night you two finally really found each other, and discovered your feelings, the wound healed more. Every time he is around you, it starts to heal, and less life is drained from that soul. You did more than feed him that night. You stopped him from commiting suicide and ending it all." Morte stopped to let the impact of the words hit home. They were powerful ones indeed, and echoed in the Sanctuary.

"Have Tithdaeron, bind your life to his. Not only will you save his life, but you will save yours. I forsee something, can feel something in the dark tides of life, that will happen to you. If you reject Tithdaeron now, he will not be there to rescue you. As he surely will." Then Morte dispeared, leaving the empty shell of Tithdaerons body for a breif moment, before Tithdaeron himself returned to the control.

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 25, 2006 12:14 PM (GMT)
Loriauna was rather stunned as Morte spoke, though her face only showed a small bit of surprise. What odd things to say...and yet, Loriauna could see they were true. She could sense it...

As Morte relinquished his hold on Tithdaeron, she moved forward and, calmly, put her arms around Tithdaeron. She did not care whether or not he would save her...her own life was not that important. But, she cared for Tithdaeron and she would stay by his side for as long as she could.

Tithy - January 26, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
"Evil yet wise. A combination that taunts me." muttered Tithdaeron, hugging back Loriauna. He hoped she hadnt heard that, heard that he actually had gotten a part of the conversation. It wasnt his fault. It was his body after all, it would make sense that when he took control again some of the memories would become part of his spirit as well.

He shook the feeling off. No big deal... "How many times did he threaten somebody's life?" asked Tithdaeron in a matter of fact way, as if Evil One, now Morte, had always done it and was known to do it often.

Loriauna Blazenoak - January 26, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
"You'd be surprised about him, Tithdaeron...there is more to him than you think." Pulling back ever so slightly, she looked him in the eyes calmly. What could she say to him now...was there even need for words. Smiling at him ever so slightly, she turned to walk away.

Perhaps he wanted time alone in this place. Before leaving, she stopped, still for a moment as the wind blew through the ruins. "Tithdaeron...if you need me, I'm in the plains."

With that, she walked away, vanishing into the shadows. If he came to follow her, there would be no sign of her ever being there. In fact, there was no sign now. The only proof of her presence was the new name of the evil side of Tithdaeron.

((Making closed thread in plains...I may be gone for a while. Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be away from home for a bit. I'll try to get on though...))

Tithy - January 27, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
((I understand Happy B-Day!))

Tithdaeron reluctantly let go, his arms still hung in the air for a little bit while he watched Loriauna disapear into the shadows. A skill he was familiar with as well, he noted on the side to himself. "The plains..." he muttered to himself, ackknowleding the meeting place as if it were autonomous.

Then what she had said before hit him. "What else?" he asked, but it was in vain. she was gone for now, disapeared, just like he had so many times. What a strange relationship, that you are only allowed to hold each other for a breif moment and then disapear. It sounded like a childrens fable! A story that some author was biding his time away on. "Cheap thoughts such as that are unbecoming of a rational person such as you." said Morte through Tithdaerons lips. "I know. I am going even more insane because of my love for her..." he replied, sighing and then turning to walk towards his old house...

The Abandoned Home.
