Ladislaus had been resting at the falls, listening to the sound of the water crashing on the rocks, and looking at the sky, recalling a previous days battle. After a few hours of deep thinking, Ladislaus started to doze off, and within moments, was deep asleep. Several hours later, Ladislaus woke up startled. He had heard something. As he sprung up, he drew his scimitar and looked around furiously to find the source of the screaming. Near the falls, he saw a group of merchants being slaughered by about a dozen soldiers. Immeadiatly, sheathed his scimitar and hid in the branches of a nearby oak tree. He looked around, looking for anyone that might be able to help him combat the soldiers, however, to his dismay, noone was visible. "Damn! I have to help those merchants, but my one sword is not enough to combat that many soldiers!" He whispered to himself. The only things that he could see were many lush plants and the collosal waterfall. Suddenly, he felt the branch snapping, and within sheer moments, he was falling onto the floor. Having years of combat experience, he knew to roll when he hit the ground. He quickly unsheathed his scimitar and was prepared to fight to his death, feeling that if he even saved one of the merchants, it would be worth his own sacrifice. He ran and slashed his scimitar through the legs of one soldier, rendering him harmless. He continued rolling, and sprung to his feet, surrounded on all sides by the corrupt soldiers. "Great....... this is some predicament I've gotten myself into......" he murmered to himself. He knew from years of gladitorial experience that being surrounded was the last thing you wanted to happen, and he had blindy run into the battle and doomed himself, to die out here.

As Saeborn was walking around the Alulanta Falls when he came upon the large river bed which dumped into a pile of rocks down below. As Saeborn walked to the rocky edge of the water he spread out his wings and called for Kira. As she caught up to him he told her to follow him across the rushing water. As Saeborn flapped his wings he lifted into the air with ease. As Saeborn flew over the rushing water he landed onto the other side. As Kira landed next to him Saeborn gently brushed her scales with his hand. As Saeborn started to walk into the trees he heard the horrible cry of a man. As Saeborn dashed to the origin of the noise Kira followed closely behind. As Saeborn looked in a bush to see what was going on up ahead he saw 13 men. One was in lying on the ground while 11 others were circling one man.
As Saeborn looked to Kira he said " It looks like those men are going to kill him and I think we could be of good assistance to that man that is being surrounded.". As Kira chirped in agreement she went out from behind the bush and flew up into the air with incredible speed. As she circled up ahead over the men Saeborn picked up a rock and walked up behind one of the men and whacked him in the back of the head with the rock. As the man fell to the ground Saeborn walked to the middle of the circle. Seeing the look of relief of the man standing next to him. As the soldiers started to come closer Saeborn mumbled a few words and a ball of fire appeared in his hand.
The ball of fire gradually got bigger and bigger and then exploded. After the explosion Saeborn opened his eyes and saw a whip composed completely if fire in his hand. Erupting in laughter Saeborn started to swing the whip around in circles. As Saeborn darted forward he took his whip and wrapped it around the soldier’s neck. After the whip was around the mans neck Saeborn jerked the whip causing the mans neck to break. Pulling the whip back to him Saeborn was knocked to the ground. All of the sudden Saeborn felt a hard beating to his back and he started to feel pain. As soon as Saeborn rolled over he saw two men standing over him kicking and slashing his body.
After Saeborn had tried to kick them off and had failed Saeborn yelled " kira!!!!!!!!!!! Help me please!!!!!!!!". All of the sudden the two men had fallen on top of him. Pushing them off Saeborn looked to see that many pinky finger sized adamantium shards had dug into their backs and their head. After standing up Saeborn looked to see the soldiers attacking the man, Saeborn ran over to go and help the man defend himself from the four men that were trying to attack him all at once.

Ladislaus was standing, surrounded by several skilled soldiers, and he realized the odds were not in his favor. He was already wishing that he hadn't destroyed his shield in his last battle. As the soldiers closed in on Ladislaus, suddenly he saw two winged creatures fly over from the other side of the river. Upon closer inspection, he realized one was a demon, and one was a dragon hatchling. He knew that the odds had just flipped, and focused on staying alive until the got over. As the demon landed, he recited some words, which Ladislaus was unable to understand. In a bright flash a fire and fury, a whip made a flames appeared in the demons palms. The demon swung his whip over his head in a very flashy fashion, slaying one soldier with a brutal cracking of his spine. Ladislaus realised he had a good chance to win this battle, so he braced himself, and performed a lightning-fast spinning swipe with his scimitar, sending the soldiers flying in all directions, and decapitating one who was too slow to move out of the way. Looking over his shoulder to check on his new comrades, he spotted that the demon was pinned by two soldiers, and was being pummeled. Ladislaus started to turn around to help his ally, but was assaulted with serveral blows to his back and side. He immeadeatly rolled to minimize the effect the slashs would have, but to little avail. He parried their attacks, attempting to hold his own against several skilled soldiers. His teammate would have to wait. Attempting to fend off their attacks, he managed to slit one's throat, and watched as he tumbles to the ground. A blood-curdling scream rang through the air, and peering over at his comrades, he realized that several inch long stones had rained down from his dragon hatchling, killing the the soldiers in mere seconds. Only a few of the soldiers remained, yet he knew that the fight was still not over. He knew from his practice at gladiator games that comebacks happened often, and in a rather gory fashion. He dashed towards his foe and slashed with all of his might, seperating thier arm from the rest of thier body. He glanced at his comrade, and nodded his head in acknowledgement.

While darting forward toward one of the solders Saeborn took his whip and wrapped it around his fist. When he reached the soldier he swung his fist with all his might and landed his punch rite onto the mans chin. As they flew to the ground instantly dead, Saeborn unwrapped the whip from his fist.
Deciding that Kira might want to kill another person Saeborn looked for one of the soldiers that was attacking the man. As he spotted one out of the crowd of men attacking the one man Saeborn lifted his blazing hot whip towards him and he mumbled a few words lightly towards the man. All of the sudden the soldier stopped attacking and stood straight. As the man looked towards Saeborn he started to run from the battle. Feeling good that his spell had worked Saeborn looked for Kira and said to her "Kira that fool is all yours!.
All of the sudden Saeborn felt a sharp pain in his back and he fell to the ground. Fending the soldiers off Saeborn managed to wrap his whip around one of the soldier’s legs and he laughed as the man screamed because of him leg being burned. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air and Saeborn pulled the whip back towards him. After he pulled the whip he heard the snap of a bone. As the man fell hard to the ground he pulled the other one with him. When they reached the ground Saeborn heard a piercing noise and the soldier was dead on the ground.
Figuring that the sword of the other man that had fallen had pierced the other mans stomach as he fell on top of him Saeborn gave a chuckle and stood up facing the man also looking to see if Kira had returned from her kill. There were only a few people left and Saeborn saw the man decapitate the soldiers arm from his body and then Saeborn said to him "Good job on killing him. As the man nodded back Saeborn looked at the sky to see Kira flying back from the north. Leaving the man with a couple of men left to kill and then he said to him"I have done my share of the killing so now I will leave you with the rest of them". After he said that to him the fiery whip that gleamed like the sun disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Ladislaus continued to fight, occasionally glancing back at the demon. "I believe I have done enough here," the demon said confidently, raising his whip into the air as it vanished into a cloud of smog. The demon casually began to walk away, his dragon trailing behind. Ladislaus smiled, realizing that this battle was virtually over. He decided to continue smiting the corrupt soldiers. He sprinted forward and thrusted his blade clean through one soldiers abdomen, then ripping out of the flesh of the flabbergasted soldier. He spun around and jumped, letting gravity do it's work on his blade, as it sliced through one man's skull. He took one glancing blow to his shoulder guard and countered by ripping the man's dagger from his hands and shoving it through the hapless soldier's throat, watching as his arteries spurted his blood onto the grass. Only one soldier remained, and as Ladislaus approached him, he lunged with his broadsword in attempt to kill the juggernaut who had destroyed his team. Ladislaus riposted his blade from his hands, and kicked his knees out from under him. "Whose command are you under?" Ladislaus probed. "I will never betray our cause, even if death be the consequence!" the wounded soldier yelled. Ladislaus held his blade to the man's neck, attempting to make his point clear "I will ask again. Who sent you? And it would be very unwise on your part to answer in such a granduer fashion again. I do hate people who flourish a subject too much." "To hell with you, murmillo!" The man asnwered boldy. "It is one thing to not answer, but by answering in such a rude way, you have just given up your right to life, fool!" Ladislaus said, adding emphasis to the end. Ladislaus slowly slid his scimitar through the throat of the soldier, leaving him to die. He walked away back towards the town, with one question on his mind. "Who would want to kill a group of harmless merchants?". He continued, and to his surprise, came across the merchants. He hadn't seen them since the fight, ad reasoned that they must have fleed from the fray. "Thank you, murmllo! We owe you our lives! Please accept these coins, it is all of our extra gold." One of the merchants said, approaching. "It may be small, but please accept it." he repeated. "Thank you. Also, does anyone here know of a way I might be able to obtain a shield?". The merchants gave him a blank stare, then started to leave thier makeshift camp. "No wonder those soldiers were trying to kill them. Cheap jerks.......". Ladislaus continued onwards to the town, wondering if his wounds were really worth a mere 15 gold...........
