Aemelia Trinity - September 19, 2007 03:17 AM (GMT)
Aemelia let the wind lick her skin as she rode on horse back to the nearest village she could find, she had only arrived here accidentliy days ago and had to steal a horse for transportation, she had no place to live and no way of making money, no one knew of her royal blood. The horse was white and gray with black main, she had been riding for days.

Soon a village came into site, she smiled and urged the horse on further, she was determined to sit down in a seat that didnt move. The village neared closer, and soon she had to slow to keep up with the other horse back riders, shops were bustling, people were talking and buying items. Aemelia put her horse in a stable and tied him up, she walked to the fountian in the middle of the square and sat down at the edge. She sighed and layed down on the edge. It was nice to lay down where their were other people, water, and you werent on something that could move, she closed her eyes for only a moment.

Benches were an odd invention. They already came up with chairs, so why create something else, when it is essentially the same thing? Both are hard, both have a seat and a back, and both are meant for sitting on. The only difference is that a bench is longer, and somebody decided that it was better suited for sitting outside than a chair was. Thal decided that he would have to have a serious talk with whoever decided that. So, naturally, the Elf had taken a chair from an inn where he had just gone for a drink, and brought it outside. He was fairly sure he could hear yelling behind him as he walked out with the chair, but he didn't look back, and nobody chased him, so he assumed that he was within the law.

The Elf set the chair up on the edge of a stone walkway that encompassed a large fountain. The leaned back, put his hands behind his head, and closed his eyes. Relaxation was exactly what he needed right now. After the many battles that he had recently fought, he needed some downtime. But, of course, he wouldn't get it. Not that particular day.

Thal cracked one eye open and looked to his right. There were three boys, two were much taller than the third. The larger two seemed to be picking on the smaller child. In fact, it was quite obvious. They didn't even attempt to hide the fact that they were bullying him. The even did the whole cliche "turn him upside down to get every last cent out of him" trick.

When the two boys, whom he judged to be around 16, were finished with the small boy, they began to walk towards Thal. He kept one eye open, but it was so close to being closed that nobody would notice. As the boys neared him, he stuck his foot out. The one nearest to him tripped, and fell into the other boy. Both ended up on the ground, looking for their assailant. Thal simply looked down on the two and smiled.

"Can I help you?" he asked politely. One of the boys looked at him angrily and began to speak in what he must have meant to be a menacing tone.

"You touch me again, and I'll-"

He didn't have time to finish his sentence, because Thal had moved from his chair, to standing behind the boy, his arm around the bully's neck. He held the boy in a position that resembled a headlock and spoke into his ear.

"Or you'll what? Do this?" Thal dragged the boy over to the fountain, released the headlock, grabbed him by the legs and chest, and tossed him into the fountain. The other boy got up and ran at the Elf. Thal simply sidestepped the boy, who plunged into the fountain right next to a girl who was laying on the ledge. Water splashed everywhere, even getting Thal, who stood a few meters away, wet.

The Elf walked over to the girl who was lying on the fountain ledge.

"I apologize if I got you wet," he said. "I just don't appreciate when people pick on others, simply because they are larger. It's just plain rude."

Alcemy Odoren - September 19, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
Alcemy could see how people walked about there life. He walked closer to the fountin until he heard some one say"you tuch me agin,"alcemy turned to see who had spoken those words. He saw an elf with someone in a headlock. The strange elf then tossed the boy int o the fountain. THis caused Alcemy to get wet. As he viewed them he sence another presence a young girl near him, on the other side of the fountain. He saw her laying on the ground all wet from the splash caused by the boy.

Alcemy then heard the elf apologise to the girl for getting wet.As the elf waited for a response Alcemy made his presence known. He walked towards the girl and elf.He waied for them to say something to him.

Aemelia felt the water drench her only dress she had, she opened her eyes with a start and fell off the fountian. She hit the ground but got back up quickly and stood up, she couldnt see for a minute because of the water on her eyes.

Aemelia smiled up at the two men. "Thank you, I'm fine, I dont like bullys either, they deserve a punishment that was a trifle worse than the act." She said her green eyes filled with knowladge and wisodom she had found in her life, her dark brown hair now wet looked black. "I'm...Aemelia." She said almost adding queen before her first name. "Would you happen to know a suitible place to stay, or a means of making money?" She asked completely forign to the realm.

Thal smiled as the girl introduced herself as Aemelia. They apparently shared the same philosophy on bullies, or at least similar ones. His particular motto when it came to such a person was "If you can't deal with getting thrown into a fountain, don't pick on people." It was actually a fairly good motto, since most people didn't enjoy being tossed into a shallow pool of water.

Shaking himself back into reality, Thal introduced himself as well.

"My name is Thalinis, but most call me Thal." He neglected to mention that a few people had even referred to him as Monkey. "As for an inn and a job... Hmmm..." Thal scratched his chin. "Well, there's a pretty decent bar right over there," he pointed to the place from where he had recently stolen a chair. "As for a job, I'm afraid I can't help you there. The only way I know of to gain money is to check underneath couch cushions, but not many people in this town own couches, so that could propose a problem."

It was just then that Thal noticed another presence near them. It was a Quendi, one of his own race. The newcomer was a bit taller than Thal, but also looked thinner.

"Hello there!" Thal greeted cheerfully. One of the bullies was trying to get in a cheap shot on Thal. The Elf casually pushed the teen's forhead without even looking at him, knocking him back into the fountain. "Is there something I can do for you?" Thal turned his attention back to the other Quendi.

Black Thorn - September 20, 2007 07:49 AM (GMT)
Black Thorn sat in the shadiest spot he could find. The light still effected him greatley but he did not have to move. He thought for a moment at how he was forced to a standstill by that young demon. He growled and tossed a mug half way to a building across from the pub. He watched as a 'disgusting' sight of happiness went on. It sickened him, he did not wish to see it. he wanted everything to be consumed by darkness. But for the moment that was impossible. He did not even have a millionth of his power and it would take too long for him to regain what dark powers he did have He was nothing compared to a Guardian's strength, not even at his full power. He was nothing, and he knew it. He knew he could never defeat Sartana, never in a million years. H would never rid Arda of light but he enjoyed fighting it anyways.
