Vencrest Kianthis - September 19, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
((Italicizes means when he is unconscious.))

Vencrest clung on the back of the huge plasma dragon, emotions stirring throughout his whole body. His skeletal steed had died, one of his abyssal creatures, one of the creatures he had sworn to protect. Why had he failed, why had he caused her death? A hatred for all that was good swelled throughout his body, the scar on his chest erupted with a quick flash of red, his eyes flashing brightly. His scar and eyes quickly reverted to normal state, for his anger had quickly shifted to grief. This had happened for almost two days in a row now. He was so emotionally unstable, so hurt, and so violent.

Using his knees he guided Zekbel down to the ground below. The huge mass of red muscle and bone landed, causing a tremor across the ground. The land was baron, except for a small speck in the distance. The light made it hard to discern details, so he mounted Zekbel, anger rising for no reason again. He pointed out to the speck, and shouted "LETS KILL THEM!" Zekbel roared in approval, causing several birds to flee from their nests in their trees.

The dragon bounded across the land, sending out quakes. They were nearing the location of the camp they had spotted in the distance. They were almost there, they could begin making out the forms of the men inside. Yes!, it was a group of paladins, obviously on a pilgrimage. Vencrest's heart leaped with fury and joy. He would kill today, he would kill the kin of those who had killed Nekula! There was four of them, all dressed in armor, all with swords. "Kill only two Zekbel," Vencrest said as they neared them.

They reached the location, only then allowing them to make out all the warriors. They all had golden armor, covering their whole body, including their heads and necks, which would prove to make them difficult targets. They all had a golden scabbard at their side, which most likely held a sword inside. On each of their necks hung a holy symbol to Lothlómendil.

Vencrest jumped from his dragon, and landed with a roar. All the paladins drew their blades, and Vencrest had drawn his own. Rage filled Vencrest, causing his scar to erupt with a violent flash of red, causing him to pass out...

[i] He roared, his scar had quieted down, but his eyes remained red. This showed that his abyssal taint inside him had been released, and now was spread throughout his whole body, causing his muscles to become stronger, but it sent him in a rage. He lunged forward to the first paladin, the paladin only parrying with his shield, and countered, while another paladin behind him did the same. Vencrest jumped backward with unnatural speed, causing both to misjudge their blows, causing them to trip over. He jumped forward, ripping off the helmet of a paladin with one hand, punching him with massive force with the other. The paladin’s look of fear was reflected in his face as Vencrest's dark fist crushed his face, causing him to fly several feet back. The man landed a few seconds later, dead.

The other paladin was holding his holy symbol, chanting. A burst of holy light erupted from it, launched at Vencrest. Vencrest forward flipped over it, and landed behind the man. The paladin turned swiftly, only to have Vencrest pull his head up, revealing his neck, and plunge his scimitar inside. Using his knee to push him off his sword, he then stepped on his neck to assure he died, and then, passed out.

(Zekbels point of view)

Zekbel watched as his master went into a rage, engaging the paladins. He turned, ready to face the two his master had assigned him. He bellowed, and with a quick swipe of his paws, he sent a paladin flying, and slamming into a cliff of the shore, and a shot of lava, instantly killing the other one...

(Back to Vencrest, he was only out of it for a few minutes)

Vencrest rose, his head throbbing. He remembered little of were he was. He only remembered seeing a speck, then a fight, and it was all blank from there. He looked around. There were several recently dead bodies around. He only now had just started blanking out, and deaths normally followed after that. He rose carefully, and looked around his surroundings. There was a small clump of trees not far away. He was on a cliff, and the ocean roared below. Vencrest sat, and looked at the bodies, in utter confusion.

Valerik - September 19, 2007 02:40 AM (GMT)
Valerik swiftly walked over the eastern coast, the previous days events whizzing through his mind. He was in a home of a woman. He loomed over her, and whispered into her ear 'Shhhhh, I'm going to make you go to sleep,' He immediately stifled her scream, and bite into her neck.

The guilty pleasure flowed through his mouth and down his throat. He didn't stop drinking her blood. Their would be no life left in his victims. He drew most of their blood. He would kill them, but not plague the rest of their lives, unless they truly wished to be a vampire. He did not want vampirism at the time of his infection, but now relishes it.

Valerik watched the dragon next to him romp across the field. It tripped on ocasion, its body clumsy for him. His black scales reflected in the sun, and his body was about the size of a medium size dog. It paused, and Valerik stopped to. It looked up at him, its black eyes glossy.

The dragon let a little yelp of joy and jumped up, and began to hover up to Valerik. Suddenly, an emotion the vampire hadn't felt in centuries overcame him. Love. He held out his arms and held the dragon. It relaxed in his grip, and his long neck rested on his shoulder.

It began to let out a low rumbling, a sign of affection. "I love you, Akor," The little dragon lifted his head and stared at Valerik, and tilted its head in to the side. Then, a look of comprehension overcame the puzzled look, and then a huge, almost, grin. It let out a small chirp of joy, and then wormed its way out of the vampires cold arms.

Valerik continued to walk, until he reached a strange sight. A cliff to the shore was littered with bodies. Laying against the tree was a drow, with a fairly huge dragon at his side. Valerik kept his cool, and approached. "Would this have to be your doing? And is this your dragon?" the vampire asked.

He turned around to look for Akor, only to see him inching away from the adult dragon. The vampire chuckled, and beckoned for him to come towards him. Slowly, the dragon proceeded forward, and stood next to Valerik, shaking. "Do you think our dragons perhaps interact?" Valerik said, ignoring the many bodies, acting as if they weren't even there.

Saeborn - September 20, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
As Saeborn sat down watching Kira playing around helplessly in the grass Saeborn looked at her in detail for the first time. Her gorgeous sapphire blue scales gleamed in the sunlight. Saeborn slowly walked over to her and picked her up. As he looked at her claws he saw her nails looked like they were made out of a giant ruby. The color red pleased Saeborn in many ways because it resembled his favorite element which was fire.

While Kira sat there while Saeborn was admiring her she decided she wanted to play. Suddenly she ran from Saeborn. At that moment a huge rush of worry flowed through his body. As Saeborn started to run after her he screamed "Come Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". After he screamed that at the top of his lungs she finally stopped.

After being so far ahead of Saeborn he decided to fly over and retrieve her. As Saeborn spread out his wings and embraced himself to fly he felt a sharp pain on his ankle. As he looked down to see what it was he saw it was his dragon rubbing up against his leg. A huge sigh of relief came to Saeborn as he sat down and embraced her.

Saeborn started to feel foolish for worrying because he started to realize that she only wanted to play. This was all new to Saeborn because he had never taken care of such a hyper young dragon before. As Kira rolled onto her back he started to pet her stomach. As he was petting her he realized what a responsibility it was going to be having her.

As Saeborn let Kira go play he sat there and started to kick rocks around. As Saeborn stood up he spread out his black leathery wings once again and flapped them back and forth rapidly with enough force to move the tiny pebbles on the shore. As he lifted up off the ground he could see Kira prancing around in a wild flower patch filled with tons of red, Purple, and yellow flowers. About a half a mile away from where Saeborn was he could see a tree with a huge dragon laying there.

Saeborn yelled back to the ground for Kira to follow him and as she did he headed straight for the dragon. As he flew closer and closer to the tree he made out two men. As he was over head the people and the dragon he swooped down and landed gently on the ground not causing much of a stir in the almost soundless environment. As Kira approached his side she was already panting in exhaustion.

Saeborn petted her head and told her what a good job she did keeping up. As he told her to follow him Saeborn approached the two men. Then Saeborn heard a high pitched squeal from Kira as she ran over to play with another dragon hatching Saeborn did not see when flying above them.

After Kira was out of his reach he looked at the two men and said "Sorry for intruding" and then he introduced himself properly to the men and hoped they were friendly.

Vencrest Kianthis - September 21, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Vencrest stood, glancing about. A man had just approached him, and appeared to be a vampire. At his side was a small dragon, still a hatchling. "Would this have to be your doing? And is this your dragon?" he said, observing the corpses around them. The tiny dragon crept forward, shaking. It must have been his first interaction with another dragon. He saw the vampire shoot a glance to the dragon below. It was filled with pure, unimaginable love. A feeling swelled up inside him, like no other, a feeling he rarely felt. It was love. The colossal dragon behind him was the thing he loved the most. He turned to face him, his face reflecting his feelings. Zekbel must have been able to read this, for he pushed his giant head forward, nudging Vencrest with a purr.

"Do you think our dragons perhaps interact?" the vampire said. Before Vencrest had a chance to answer, another man flew and landed near them. At least they both look evil Vencrest thought, looking over at the dead body. "Sorry for intruding," he said. A dragon flew behind him, panting heavily. Vencrest absorbed the strange sight. There was a man, with a tiny dragon, another man with another tiny dragon, and a drow, with a HUGE dragon resting behind him. They seemed to share a few things, an evil personality, and an unnatural love for the dragons that followed them.

Another burst of love shot through Vencrest, but he contained his desire to be with Zekbel, and said instead ", Hello the two of you. As from what I can see, one of you is a vampire, while the other is a demon. I can tell, that you both are immortal, so at that, I do not consider you to be a target to me. As for whom I am, I am Vencrest, the Blood Fiend. And this plasma dragon behind me is Zekbel. We are traveling together, in a Quest for Power." He nodded as if his quest were the most important in the world. He continued, saying ", As for those men, I did, they were Light scum, and I did the world a pleasure from eliminating them from this world." He didn't tell them that he recalled nothing of killing them, and did not want to show that as a weakness. He was sure it was him, but he remembered nothing of it. "I would appreciate if you introduced yourselves as well, along with those little dragons behind. I am also interested in your breeds of dragons. I'm an Abyssal Beastmaster, dragon rider, if I do say so, and Adamantine dragons are extremely rare, and hard to train, as well as the Ash dragon."

He approached Zekbel, gazing over his body. The dragon's huge head was almost as big as he was, his pearly white horns large enough to kill him in one blow, his eyes glowing bright green. " As for you, vampire, I would much like to see the interaction of the older species with the younger species. I only ask that we shall all be willing to separate a fight, if that rare occasion would happen." He looked over at the other two dragons, who seemed to be getting more comfortable, and he added ", I doubt that will, happen, they seem to get along perfectly."

At that, Zekbel crept forward, with a sense of pride, and strength. He was huge, pure muscle, the strongest breed of dragon in Arda, probably one of the biggest breed. Zekbel pulled his tail forward, and reached forward to nudge the blue adamantine dragon, testing to see if the thing was aggressive.

Saeborn - September 22, 2007 02:43 PM (GMT)
After hearing the mans words he decided that he was going to be a friend. As Kira stopped panting a huge smile sprung across her face. All of the sudden she started running in circles around Saeborns feet. She was blatantly excited to see two of her same kind. As Saeborn picked her up he petted her head accidental cut his hand on Kira's already sharp horns that glistened in the sun. In pain Saeborn walked closer to the two men and said "I am now sure that you two will not hurt me". As he looked down at the brilliantly green grass he saw a red drop of blood.

All of the sudden a huge dragon tail came towards Kira. Saeborn told her to be nice and not be a harm to the dragon and set her down on the ground. She immediately darted for the talk in sheer excitement. Saeborn looked back to the two and felt foolish for he had failed to answer the mans question about my dragons name. He said to the two men "The little one of mine is named Kira". Now in throbbing pain Saeborn picked up Kira and said to the two people "I have cut my hand on Kira's horn and I must go rinse it out before it has the chance to become infected. I will be back after I can find a small body of water to wash it in". With that said Saeborn told Kira to follow him and Saeborn spread out his wings and started to swing flap them. As the grass blade started to bend Saeborn lifted off of the ground.

As Saeborn flew overhead passing the men and their dragons Saeborn could hear the sound of Kira following close behind. As Saeborn started to tire he had found a small place surrounded By very tall thick grass. As he gilded to the ground he landed gently. As for Kira she accidentally misjudged her landing and went right into the water. Laughing as she came up to the surface she started to swim back to shore. Amazed that she knew how to swim Saeborn picked her up out of the water as she was close to the edge and sat her down next to his side. As Saeborn stuck his hand into the water she washed it out from all the dried blood and dirt that was inside it.

When it was cleaned out Saeborn found a blade of grass that was thick and long enough to be an OK bandage and he washed it in the water and wrapped it around his hand as tightly as possible. After he was done Saeborn spread out his wings and lifted off of the ground. As he made sure Kira was following him he headed back for the men he saw a huge blur and Kira had some how gotten ahead of him. Saeborn increased his speed to try and catch up with her. As he got ahead of her it looked as if they were already back to the men and Saeborn told Kira to land and Saeborn did the same.

Valerik - September 22, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
Valerik listened to the words of the drow, ", Hello the two of you.

Then, glad that the dark elf agreed to allow the dragons play, Valerik nudged Akor on towards the plasma dragon. The newcomer demon had flown back almost as quickly as he left, a long blade of grass around his fresh cut. Valerik laughed as Akor jumped forth and attempted to tackle the huge massive dragon. But out of the corner of the vampires eye was a speck of red.

A drop of blood. The world seemed froze, and his eyes became blood shot. He opened his mouth, revealing a face full of teeth and fangs. He resisted, and time went on. "I am Valerik, and my ash dragon is Akor," he said, pointing off to the small dragon, his black lustrous scales shining in the sunlight. Valerik then immeadiatly ground his foot in were the drop of blood was, making it dissolve into the grass and the bottom of his boot.

"I am sorry for my little episode," he said. The information he was about to reveal was minor compared to his company, for the demon and drow would not care, "I am a vampire. And as for your quest for power, I would like to ask a question. Would you mind perhaps another to venture with you?" he asked hopefully. He wished for power, money, and fame. This was the perfect oppurtunity.

Vencrest Kianthis - September 22, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
Vencrest watched the two men, listening, as the thought of an alliance formed in his head. Saeborn reached, and picked up his dragon, but he pricked his hand on the dragons sharp horn. "I am now sure that you two will not hurt me," he said, relived. Vencrest was glad, at least the evil could get along with each other. The vampire looked at the drop of blood, and a look formed on his face, a look of hunger and desire. He stepped on the drop of blood, causing it to disappear. "The little one of mine is named Kira". The man seemed to be in intense pain as he continued ", I have cut my hand on Kira's horn and I must go rinse it out before it has the chance to become infected. I will be back after I can find a small body of water to wash it in". Vencrest nodded in agreement.

They took a quick brief break, and in the time, the vampire said ",I am Valerik, and my ash dragon is Akor," for the pair of dragon and owner arrived in very little time. He had a long, bandage like leaf wrapped around the wound. Vencrest looked at it, and said ", I'm sure one of us knows the art of Dark Regeneration. It is a basic spell of which all strong evil beings and Arda can master. If not, I'm sure that the wound will heal sure enough."

The vampire looked apologetic, and said ",I am sorry for my little episode." Vencrest nodded in agreement. He could relate, he couldn't control his blackouts, and the vampire couldn't control his instincts as well. "I am a vampire. And as for your quest for power, I would like to ask a question. Would you mind perhaps another to venture with you?" Vencrest smiled, his ideas of a partnership beginning to piece themselves in his head. He looked behind at Zekbel. His huge eyes were gazing at the other two dragons. Zekbel looked over the cliff leading into the ocean, and blasted a huge shot of lava, causing a loud hissing noise from the evaporated water. Vencrest let out a laugh and said ", He wants to see your breath weapons!"

After recovering from his fit of laughter, he said ", Ah yes, my Quest for Power. I don't see why we can't venture together. I would very much like that. Together, with the combined force of our dragons, we would be a force to behold! We would be the DragonForce! How about you elf, would you agree to join us as well?" He finished, facing Saeborn.

Valerik - September 22, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
Valerik was overjoyed to hear the response of his new alliance member. The DragonForce. They would be the biggest threats of Arda, terrorizing the many corners of its map, destroying life and wrecking havoc. This was an opportunity, an opportunity of plunder and money, wealth and power.

The huge dragon spat out a pressurized shot of lava, causing the water below to sizzle and evaporate in the sky. Steam bellowed forth, gushing into the sky. ", He wants to see your breath weapons!" Vencrest said, interpreting the gesture of his dragon. The dark elf had a fit of laughter, amused by the dragon's question. "Well, so far, Akor has been pretty in successful at his breath weapon, but we'll give it a try, won't we Akor?" he said.

The tiny dragon looked up at his master, and gave a small chirp of happiness, followed by a look of determination. He opened his mouth and began to almost cough and hack, concentrating all his energy on his breath weapon. A small puff of smoke began to come out, until he had a steady stream of poisonous gases. "You might not want to breathe that," Valerik warned.

He then turned down and swooped up Akor. He was heavy, growing every day. The dragon was becoming more powerful. He smiled, and Akor chirped his head tilted slightly. "I'm so proud of you!" Valerik told him with a grin, really proud of his dragon.

Valerik then set Akor to the ground and turned to Saeborn, "I know dark regeneration, would you mind if I healed that wound for you? It is the least I can do, with the offer I am pressing you to accept. Join Vencrest in I for the Quest for Power. We will dominate Arda as the DragonForce!! What do you say? Will we seal our pact with dark regeneration? Or will Vencrest and I venture a group of two, without the aid of you and your Adamantine Dragon?" Valerik asked, hopeful of a trilogy. He readied his mana, pulsing it to his hand. He outstretched his hand in a handshake, and maintained his spell. His hand glew red and riadiated dark magic. Hopeful, he waited for Saeborn's response.

Saeborn - September 23, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
As Saeborn landed on the ground he looked at the two men that would hopefully be very good friends. As Saeborn walked closer to the two men Saeborn hand started to throb in pain once again. Saeborn fell to his knees because the pain was so immense. When the pain started to ease Saeborn walked to the two men and said to them "Sorry for the episode with my hand but I cant control it.". After Saeborn said he was sorry he finished he heard Valerik say to Saeborn "I know dark regeneration, Would you mind if I heal that wound for you?. Then within seconds of his offer to heal Saeborns hand Valerik asked him to join the alliance with Vencrest and himself. With an immediate reaction Saeborn said "Of course I will!".

After Saeborn told him those exact words he saw a hand that was glowing a bright red coming towards him. As Saeborn struggled to reach the hand he finally grabbed it. As the two hands interlocked Saeborn felt a immediate rush of energy run through his body and through his arm and into his hand. When the glow stopped Saeborn fell into a deep sleep. Within seconds he woke again barely remembering what had happened.

When Saeborn looked down at his hand he suddenly remembered what had happened and quickly unwrapped the leaf bandage he had made. As he looked at his hands there was no open wound but left in his hand was a scar going down his hand. He looked back to Valerik and with a huge smile he said to him "Thank you very much for all your help and like I said earlier I would be thrilled to be in an alliance with the two of you.". After Saeborn was done talking he heard a loud sizzle and turned around to see that Zekbel had sent a shot of molten rock down into the water. Then Saeborn heard Vencrest say "He wants to see your breath weapon!.

Then before Saeborn knew it there was a large pume of toxic smoke bellowing out from Akors mouth. Saeborn immediately stepped away from the smoke and said to Kira "Would you like to try it Kira?. As she shook her head she started to cough. After about thirty seconds of that Saeborn started to worry and as he was going to pick her up a shard of adamantium no larger than the human thumb nail lie on the grass.

As Saeborn picked it up excited that she could do something that young. The metal looked almost as if it was a emerald. As Saeborn put it in his pocket he picked up Kira and congradulated her on what she did. Happy with herself she stood her tail up in the air she walked towards Zekbel.

Laughing at what she had done while walking towards Zekbel Saeborn looked at the two men in sheer excitement.

Vencrest Kianthis - September 23, 2007 02:31 AM (GMT)
Vencrest watched eagerly waited to see the attacks of the other dragons. He knew that they wouldn't even match Zekbel's power, but it was worth watching, especially the Adamintine. Adaminine dragons grew extremely slowly, taking them a while longer to grow to a normal size, and unlike dragons who could use breath weapons from birth, it took them a while to. "Well, so far, Akor has been pretty in successful at his breath weapon, but we'll give it a try, won't we Akor?" said Valerik, looking at the black dragon with giddy excitedness.

The dragon looked up and with a chirp of love, began to spew a cloud a poisonous gases. Vencrest held his hand in front of his mouth, coughing at the poisonous gases. Zekbel flew slightly off the ground, and with a mighty beat of his wings, sent the gases towards the horizon beyond. Vencrest looked back at him with a look of appreciation, and the dragon seemed to acknowledge the gaze he was receiving. "Very well done Zekbel," Vencrest said, stroking in between the scales of the dragon. "I'm so proud of you!" Valerik said, obviously pleased with the effort of the tiny dragon.

Valerik turned to Saeborn and added to him ",I know dark regeneration, would you mind if I healed that wound for you? It is the least I can do, with the offer I am pressing you to accept. Join Vencrest in I for the Quest for Power. We will dominate Arda as the DragonForce!! What do you say? Will we seal our pact with dark regeneration? Or will Vencrest and I venture a group of two, without the aid of you and your Adamantine Dragon?" Valerik reached out his hand, and it glowed with the dark energy from the spell. Vencrest was amazed at the poetic element infused with the bonding of the alliance.

"Of course I will," Saeborn shouted. Vencrest almost jumped. The alliance was in full bloom as soon as they grasped hands. They grasped hands, and Saeborn's look left him, but returned suddenly. Saeborn slowly removed the bandage, and his hand only had a scar. "Would you like to try Kira," Saeborn said. The dragon coughed away, and thirty seconds later, a shard adamintine the size of a thumbnail. Saeborn ran forward, and grabbed the shard, and shoved it in his pocket, and picked up the dragon, swinging her in his arms.

Vencrest approached him and said cautiously ", You are lucky, dear Saeborn. If you had left your wound like that for a week, it would become tainted with abyssal magic. I know, let me show you." With that, he rolled up his sleeve up to his elbow, revealing his large scar. "Its tainted with dark magic, and in moments of strong emotion, I black out, and enter a frenzy, killing all I, except close allies. I hope you can still find me as a teammate. If you do, I think we have much to talk about our trio."

Valerik - September 23, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
Valerik took the hand of Saeborn, pulsing the magic through the hand of the demonic elf. ", You are lucky, dear Saeborn. If you do, I think we have much to talk about our trio." the dark elf said, giving a word of warning to Saeborn.

Valerik's eyes moved up and down Vencrest's arm, looking at the deep scar that ran through his arm. 'Tainted with dark magic?' Valerik thoguht. "It's okay, Vencrest," the vampire reassured him. He did not care if the drow was in a frenzy, he wouldn't dare attack him. Valerik also knew that with Zekbal at Vencrest's side, he could never lose. With Saeborn and Valerik, Akor and Kira, Vencrest could never lose. The DragonForce was defiantly going to be a great foe to all the light scum.

Valerik chuckled, thinking of all the victories ahead. The vampire was cocky, assuming he was indestructable. Now he was, with his two new allies, two new dark allies. His own kind, who didn't care of his undead nature. He knew that he now had friends. Friends he could trust, friends he could actually attach himself to, to become true friends, battle companions, schemers, plotters, destroyers, plunderers, they would be conquerors.

They had Arda at their fingertips. They would conquer. The DragonForce was born, and would become strong. Valerik snapped back into reality. He continued, "The DragonForce must become strong, and start for a quest for power. Does anyone have any idea of any item of power that can increase our strength?" he asked.

Saeborn - September 23, 2007 03:59 AM (GMT)
As Saeborn saw Valerik thinking Saeborn decided to just talk to Vencrest and he said " Sorry that my dragon could not give you a better show than that but she is very young and can not do the full attack". As Saeborn saw the scar on Vencrests arm a huge wave of sickness went through his body. Saeborn said to him "How did you get that gruesome scar?.
Waiting for the answer from Vencrest, Saeborn saw out of the corner of his eye that Valerik snapped out of his thoughts.

Then Valerik said "The Dragonforce was born, And would become strong". Saeborn Said to Valerik "I agree with you on that but no matter what we will have to work with each other.". All of the sudden Saeborn saw a bunny just ahead of them. Deciding that this would be a great opportunity to teach Kira to hunt.

As Saeborn pointed the bunny out to Kira it was almost as she had went into a hunting mode. As She ran towards the rabbit she tackled it and started to tear it apart she brought it back and dropped it at the feet of Saeborn. Saeborn was very excited that she was able to get her first kill. Saeborn picked up the rabbit and asked if the other dragons would like to share it.

Valerik - September 23, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
Valerik saw the small Adamintine get its first kill. Saeborn offered the other dragons if they would like to join. The rabbit was to small for Zakbel, so Valerik motioned for Akor to go ahead and eat the rabbit. Nicely, the dragon tore half the rabbit off, and slowly broke off chunks of his half.

It seemed that Saeborn had no idea were an item of power was, so Valerik began to brainstorm of an idea. Immeadiatly, he remembered a moment of his past. He was a young vampire, and he had been talking to a bartender in a pub in Lomedor. "Ay, a vampire, are ye?" asked the bartender. "Me son is one of yer folk," he said gruffly, wiping the glass.

This was during Valerik's dark days, and his depression was obvious. "Ay, if you want a weapon to make you truely powerful, open yer ears to this!" he said, setting the glass down, trying his hardest to cheer up the sullen vampire. "Up i' ye old Ered Annon Mountain's are abandoned, lost temples. They say that ye temples are guarded by fierce beasts, ghosts, and even skelingtons!!" he exclaimed, turning around to set the glasses down.

"But in yonder temples is a weapon, called the Blood Glaive, which is favored by yer kind," he said, gesturing at Valerik's fangs, "the weapon uses blood against yer oppenent!!" he said. Uncaring, Valerik disguarded the information. But now, it would be useful.

The blood glaive, the ideal weapon for a vampire. A glaive, the perfect weapon on dragon back. The blood glaive, his weapon. He invisioned himself, riding a dragon, his glaive swooping back and forth, drawing the blood of his foes. The weapon was ideal for him.

Saeborn was a mystery to Valerik, as well as Vencrest. What would they adventure for? Was Saeborn a powerful magician, or perhaps Vencrest a magnifecent fighter. But whatever their quest for power was for, Valerik would aid them.

Valerik turned back and faced the two companions. "All of us will adventure for an item that you have heard of, so give your ideas on what you want to adventure for now," he said. "Vencrest, Saeborn, what item of power do you desire?" he asked. "I wish for the blood glaive, a weapon hidden in abandoned temples high in the Ered Annon mountains," he told them.

"Who's item shall we quest for first? What are the items you seek?" he asked, facing his two new allies.

Vencrest listened carefully to what Saeborn had to say, for they would become great allies. "Sorry that my dragon could not give you a better show than that but she is very young and can not do the full attack." Vencrest nodded in agreement, he knew that the young dragon had difficulty controlling such a powerful move. Zekbel had the problem of drooling lava when he was younger, so it wasn't a big problem for him. Saeborn looked at Vencrest and said “, How did you get that gruesome scar?" Vencrest did not answer, and let every one else continue, not feeling comfortable discussing his problems so early on in their alliance.

Saeborn continued in saying ", I agree with you on that but no matter what we will have to work with each other." Vencrest only nodded in agreement. Evil people tended to want the power, but they would have to get along to make their alliance work. Saeborn’s dragon set off, and caught a rabbit he offered it to the other dragons. Zekbel shook his head no, but Akor reached and took half. Valerik seemed to be in thought, and soon he said ", All of us will adventure for an item that you have heard of, so give your ideas on what you want to adventure for now." "Vencrest, Saeborn, what item of power do you desire?" he asked. "I wish for the blood glaive, a weapon hidden in abandoned temples high in the Ered Annon mountains," he told them.

Vencrest nodded again, and said ", I do not know about you two, but I am in great need of a weapon." He thought back to something he had heard in school, while he was a young drow.

He was in class, skimming through a book on legendary items of power. He came upon a passage about the Raiments of Bloodshed. He read it, eyes fixed on the page. ' The Raiments of Bloodshed is a set of armor, forged by the demons who created the Choas axe. The pieces are powerfull individually, yet when combined, they have devestating affects.'. His mind drifted. 'If I can own that set, then I will be a force to be reckoned with. No one would be a threat to me!

The next day in class, he raised his hand quietly. "Yes, Vencrest," his instructor spoke in fluent drow. "Well, sir," he said timidly ", do you know any thing about the Raiments." The teacher looked at his watch, and said ", Well, history starts in five minutes, I guess we can start early. The Raiments of Bloodshed are found in certain spots around the Realm, yet the most frequent is in the Chaos Temple, were priests have crafted sets for sale. But there are a few pieces scattered around, were they aren't easily found. An old drow rumor has that a drow pirate sailed into the Everdark, and crashed upon its shores. He carried two pieces, the Armor of Bloodshed, and the Gaultnets, and they wait at the bottom of the ocean, waiting for someone to find them. Now to class...

Vencrest snapped back into reality, and said ", I would like to find the Armor and Gualtnets of Bloodshed, located in Morring, the Everdark.

Saeborn - September 27, 2007 01:34 AM (GMT)
While Valerik was talking about getting a weapon for each of them Saeborn decided to sit down and suddenly found himself in a flashback. He was sitting at a table in the library in Lomedor reading a book titled “The Finest Weapons of Arda”. While flipping through the pages of the book Saeborn was shocked at how many there were and then he flipped the page to page 77. When he opened it to that page he knew that he wanted that weapon almost instantly. As he looked at the description of the weapon it read “ this weapon is very light. The blade of this cutlass is composed completely of fire which is very useful when fighting because it dose fire damage as well as melee damage. This blade is hidden in an underground passage in the Taurerosa Rainforest which leads to a large lava pit. In the center of the lava pit is a floating stone which has the flame cutlass being held up by nothing but pure magic.”.

Saeborn stood up suddenly awakening from his flash back. When Saeborn walked to Valerik and Vencrest and he heard Valerik say “All of us will adventure for an item that you have heard of, so give your ideas for what you want to adventure for now.”. After that he heard Valerik asking what weapons Vencrest and he wanted.
About to say what he wanted Vencrest cut him off and he said “I would like to find the Blade Of War, Which is located in the sand goblin tribe in the desert.”. Then he heard Valerik say quickly after that “I wish for the Blood Glaive, A weapon hidden in the abandoned temples high in the Ered Annon mountains.”. Almost immediately after Valerik had finished talking Saeborn said “ I wish to venture out to the Taurerosa Rainforest where there is many under ground tunnels which all lead to a very powerful weapon composed almost completely of fire called “The Flame Cutlass.”.
