Elemmiire walked slowly and softly on the thick green carpet of grass, the light filtering onto her black hair, she pulled it free from a piece of leather, letting it fall around her small face inset with green eyes. She sat under a tree and looked at the shadows that played on the ground.

To which do I belong...The darkest shadows, or a light that fights them?.... She voiced the question that was reeling in her mind, after a few seconds which seemed a lifetime, she stood and paced, her anxious footsteps still light and silent.

A killer or a saviour, I can't tell... She spoke soflty to herself, and found herself walking into water, sighing she let herself continue on, the water reaching her knees, and soon her hips, she dropped herself in holding her breath she submerged her head. The cool water felt nice, as she pulled herself out onto a rock. Laying flat out on her back she looked up at the sun and dancing leaves above, searching for an answer to the questions that burned her mind, and drowned her thoughts.

Blaez slept upon a thick branch of a nearby tree, overlooking the lake. He snored lightly, but barely noticable. His spear spread over his chest, a bit of cloth over the blade.

Elemmiire sat up, her ears had picked up a sound, faint, she shook her head and listened again, she wasn't imagining it. It was there, snoring. She followed the sound and looked up to a tree branch, she easily climbed the tree and looked at the person sleeping. She smiled, and poked his shoulder.

He continued snoring, and the cloth slipped off his spear, the light shimmering off the blade. He started to roll sideways off the branch.

Elemmiire panicked a little, she didn't mean to start pushing him off the branch. What if he got mad and decided to use that spear? Ummm...mister....wake up please, you're going to fall! She spoke soflty she didn't want him to fall, but she didn't want to inturupt him either.

He grabbed the branch just before falling, as he woke up to her voice. His spear fell to the ground, then he let himself drop, and dusted himself off, before grabbing it. "Hello? Who's there?"

Sijal smiled smuggly at the man and the women in the tree. He walked over, watching as the young man started to slip off the side... asleep. "Ma'am!" He called up to the women in the tree. "If this young man falls I can try and catch him.." he smiled at his remark, the chance of catching the man was little considering his size.

Elemmirre looked down, at both of them, and tried to hide herself behind the trunk of the tree. I'm sorry I woke you.... She called down to the man that had dropped to the ground. She began to climb down the tree to the ground.

"Do you know what time it is?" He asked calmly, holding his spear idly. "I wont hurt you, don't hide."

Elemmiire dropped the last couple of feet to the ground and looked at him, she smiled tentivly, and shook her head. No I don't and again I appologize... I didn't mean to wake you... She stayed near the tree, wanting to hide behind it, but felt that it would be rude to do so.

Sijal looked up at the sun. "It seems around noon," he said. He looked at the man and women and fingered his throwing daggers that were attached to his belt. "Sorry if I disturbed either of you."

"Bah. I needed to wake up anyways." He smiled and looked over at Sijal. "Good. I needed to be awake before one." He put his spear over his shoulder, and closed his eyes.

Elemmiire found a chance to slip behind the tree, she saw the knives, that the second man had. All the weapons just...tempted her? She shook her head, No, I'm not evil... I'm good... She thought to herself, she didn't want to be evil but somethings just made her want to cause havoc. She slowed her breathing and triend to steady her mind.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "Miss?" He looked up at the sunlight shining through the leaves.

Elemmiire looked to the ground and shook her head. Nothing... She said softly and sat down, she would wait until they forgot that she was there, and then leave. She decided and pulled her knees up to her chest.

"Why don't you come out," He said putting his spear away, yet again. "We aren't going to hurt you," He looked at the tree. "You can't hide there forever, and I fell asleep in that tree yesterday morning, so I'm well rested."

"I won't hurt you," said Sijal softly. "I always keep my weapons ready when I'm around strangers, I don't like to be taken off guard." He smiled, lifting his arms up to show that he wan't holding any weapons. "And I'm sure this young man won't hurt you either, he seems nice enough.

He looked to his left at the large expanse of grass and nothingness and sighed.

Elemmiire shut her eyes and hugged her knees tighter. They'll forget about me, people always do... She reassured herself, she wasn't good when it came to being around people, most found her to shy, or to hesitant. She didn't care much any more, she liked being alone it helped her to ponder her questions and try to recover her memory. She sighed and reassured herself again, running the sentance through her mind she would do this until it was true.

"Fine," He said. "You wont come out, I wont leave," He said, setting his spear at his side and grabbing his drawing books and his quill, and started drawing the tree from which the voice came.

Elemmirre sighed and stood again, inching out from behind the tree she looked at the stubborn man. ...happy? She asked sarcastically

He smiled and set down his book. Pretending to ignore her, he started to look in his mirror, and styling his hair.

Elemmiire shook her head, a vain stubborn man? She snuk back behind the tree a little she hated this situation already, there was nothing left to do but try to be polite. My name is Elemmiire...and I'm sorry but I'm not that great a people person... She added the last part on softly and quietly.

He smiled. "I'm Blaez." He put away his book and mirror, and stood up, grabbing his spear.

(I've got to go, goodbye, see you tomorrow.)

Elemmiire sat down, still half concelled by the tree. Maybe he'll leave now... She could only hope, she wasn't quite sure why but she felt disturbed with him there, as though she had something to hide. She sighed, unable to untangle a web of confusion in her thoughts.

He stood up and walked over to her. "Well, why are you still concealing yourself?" He asked politely. He looked around and walked over to a patch of grass and picked a small flower. He returned, and gave it to her.

She took the flower, and sighed, how could she finda n answer. There are too many questions, and not enough answers to go around... Her eyes drifted to the grass.

He smiled and walked over the the lake, and stared over it, and at his reflection. He closed his eyes and when he opened them, He saw a small shimmer in the lake, and picked it up. An arrowhead, not much of a find, but it could come into some pictures. He smiled and turned around, back to Elemmiire, and held out his hand.

Elemmiire looked at his hand and then back at him. What is he trying to pull... She thought faintly, still scrutinizing his hand, she hadn't come into physical contact with any one in close to two months. She gave him a sceptical look and hestantly reached out her own hand, and waited to see what he would do.

He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. "Well, I guess if you don't want me here, I'll leave." He finally said. "He kissed her hand and turned and started to walk away.

Elemmiire blushed a little, and felt bad, she didn't know why, maybe because she had been the one to interupt him, she frowned, and began to think. She opened her mouth to say somthing and decided against it, and rearranged the words that had popped into her head, she hesitated, and spoke. ...wait...You shouldn't have to leave, I interupted you, and you were here first I'll go... She took a step to the waters twirlling the flower in her hand she laid it on the bank and stepped into the waters.

"No, you stay." He grinned. "You woke me up, and I needed to wake up. Like I said, I fell asleep yesterday morning." He looked back and smiled, still walking.

Elemmiire sat with her feet in the waters, she thought in the silence, and found that she felt a little lonely. Tucking the flower behind her ear, she stood up and climbed into a nearby tree, and began to follow him, as quietly as she could, staying in the trees.

He walked down the path, against a large stone wall, carved by nature. He ran his hand along it and felt it's coolness. He frowned a bit, and looked back towards the lake.

Elemmiire walked silently and carfully on a branch, when she reached the end of it she jumped the gap to another branch this one bounced under her weight, and she quickly left it to rustle its leaves as she found a steardier one. She had a somewhat clear view of Blaez, but didn't want him to know she was following him.

He smiled and turned back around, noticing no one at the lake, and he understood what this meant, but he didn't mind. He was normally an outcast, and someone following him, without a weapon of some sort, was a good sign.

She looked at her footing and the available branches around her, and chose one in each direction, depending on which way Blaez chose. She shifted her weight a little too much on the branch and her foot slipped, catcheing the branch she now hung in view if he were to turn to his right. She strained her muscles to pull herself back up.

He heard a small crack, but ignored it. He already knew what it was. He turned left, opposite the noise, and started climbing the stone. When he reached the top, he was out of view, unless she were to climb up. With more terrible back pain, from the other times as well, he crossed over to his dragon form, and layed down, waiting to see if she would follow him up here.

She let herself down and climbed almost effortlessly, using her legs more then her upper body. When she reached the top she popped her head almost into view, and let out a peep and hid behind the wall. Dragon, not good... She began to panic and her palms became sweaty and she began slipping. Not good, not good, not good.... She whispered to herself.

The dragon raised it's head, and stood onto all fours. It spoke "Come forward, I shall not hurt you." He bowed his head.

Elemmiire stuck her head out into view, and pulled herself onto the ledge sitting on her knees she was a little more then paranoid. How can I be sure of that and trust you? She asked her voice shaky.
