Death Master - September 8, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
Kaen trekked through the Anfauglir Desert, a place he considered his home. He loved being here in the heat, he felt a sense of renewel but could not help but feel that something was wrong. The air seemed... colder, that day. He kept his burning eyes open for anything that seemed out of the ordinary until he came to a spot that and some melted sand in a small dune. He looked into it and a flurry of memories came to him. this is where he had first achieved his humanoid form, it was like looking into a past that had not made itself known for a long time.

Kaen gave out a sigh which was filled with smoke as he looked into the sky at the burning sun. It was a day in his home, and it would always remain that way as long as he stayed there. He gave a small chuckle as he stood there, taking in the endless beuty of his home. he could hear noise amongst the usual quiet of the desert, and peered over the dune. he could not see what was out there except for a figure of a being.

Kalarn - October 2, 2007 07:10 AM (GMT)
Kalarn walked through the desert, as his effigy did. His shadow did not moe besides as he did himself, but out of the corner of his eye, he could see it drawing a sword. Perhaps to use on him. But, he couldn't die. Not here. The desert had no effect on him. He could not get thirsty.

He felt a dull gnawing feeling, and remembered he had not eaten for days. He knelt, and the shadow rose the blade once more. This time, it would win, it thought. The shadow rose from the earth and struck at Kalarn.

Kalarn felt coldness, and drew his sword, barely blocking the blow from the shadow. They fought for a good amount of time, both tiring at the same rate, both with the same skill. Kalarn flicked aside the sword of the shadow with a strong blow, and the hands of it, mutated, and the sword fell, with a clatter. The shadow returned to the ground, scowling at Kalarn. Cursing his imprisonment.

Kalarn picked up the flowing darkness that seemed to be a hilt, and hefted it. He winced, not expecting the sudden chill that came. He looked at the swirling darkness of the blade, and saw a shape.

The shape flowed. It was a dragon, flying. Then, the dragon stopped, and drew back to breathe fire. The dragon struck, a black flame on the sword. The dragon then became engraved in the blade, burning endlessly. Longing for escape.

Kalarn threw the blade, and it evaporated into the black mist. It became the shadow of a sword, so very different from the sword he had. It was, as some called, the Blade of Rising Sun. Kalarn tried to ignore it, but it followed him. He turned his back to it, and saw a figure in the horizon.

"Hey!!" Kalarn shouted, running to the shape. Maybe this person might help him to get out of this eternal desert.
