Vencrest strode in the bustling square, not trying to avoid anyone, bumping into several people along the way. Each time some one didn't move for him, he slammed into them, causing them to grunt a little, looking back, some times making a rude gesture, or muttering curse words under their breath. He didn't care, he was immortal, and their puny insignificant lives didn't matter to him. They could all be cut down right here, and he wouldn't hesitate.

He approached a stand, fruit lined across its wooden shelves. Reaching down, he pulled a gleaming red apple. "How much," he said coolly. "Two coin," said the silvery tongued man at the counter ", but for three, I'll give ya another apple for free." Vencrest grabbed the man by his shirt, and pulled him forward viciously, and said quietly in the mans ear," I only want one apple, you get that, and I'll have one apple for one coin." He released him, and the man straightened himself up. "The nerve," he said under his breath, taking the coin Vencrest was handing to him. Vencrest grabbed the apple, and left, taking large bites from it.

As soon as he was down with it, he tossed it on the corner of the street. "Mommy isn't that man littering," said a small little boy, clasped to his mother’s hand, hurrying down the street. Vencrest stopped the woman, and she looked back, her face turning from boredom, to fear. "Kind women," said Vencrest, his icy voice coolly piercing the air," I would appreciate it if you would toss my apple core." He bent down, and picked up the apple core, and placed it in the woman’s hand. The women had obviously recomposed herself and said shrilly," No, I will not dispose of your trash." Vencrest laughed politely, and said in the same tone," Oh, but you will if you value your life, wait, your son’s life." He left, leaving the woman’s mouth agape. She hurried away, stifling a sob.

With a small smile, he continued forth, pleased at his work. He knew he couldn't openly kill these mortals, for fear of losing his own life, but he could make their lives miserable. When he would get the chance, he would end one of their lives, and hopefully that would be soon. But for now, he could at least hurt them. With that, he walked through the stands some more, not looking for anything in particular, but the chance to end a life.

Kaen was in a particuarly bad mood, even though he was always in a bad mood this time he was on the verge of a rampage. Children were constantly trying to splash him with water as a joke, he tried to calm himself down and not incenerate them. People were constantly telling him to 'cool off' as another means of jokes. He kept himself from burning them alive.

So far he believed that he would make it through the day without killing anybody... that is, until he saw a drow who acted as if he controlled the fates of everybody in Lomedor. Kaen was going to allow this drow to go about his day but Kaen was on the verge and when the drow crashed into him that was the final straw. Kaen grabbed the drow by the arm and pulled him back as he transformed into his molten behemoth form. He brought a fist twords the drow and if he managed to hit the cocky being it would launch him several yards back into the air.

Vencrest continued to browse through the stands, a smirk spread across his face. He felt a fiery hand grasp his arm, and he turned around to see a flaming figure behind him. His fear was quickly shot away, and his desire to kill replaced it. The giant figure was pulling him forward, and using his other hand to punch him straight in the chest. Vencrest wrenched forward, and dislodged himself from the mighty grasp of the flaming figure. He jumped backwards massaging his wrist gently, his flesh slightly singed.

"Ah, well done my flaming friend," Vencrest said slyly, his hand inching towards his sword. He pulled out Icicle, his scimitar and said in the same town ", Well, why are you attacking me? I'm sure we are both of the same kin, well immortal. Why defend these mortals? Their lives do not matter, their merely fodder for the stronger species, which would be each of us. You are foolishly throwing away the time you could be planning to become stronger. You have ruined your immortality."

With a sigh, he faced him, and added," Well, it seems your intentions are to defend these foolish people, and now I'll have to end the life of one of the stronger kin." With that, he held Icicle in a defensive stance. With a quick glance around him, he noticed they had attracted a lot of attention. Many people had fled, and a few watched behind cover. Vencrest shouted, " EVERY ONE GATHER AROUND TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE DEFENDER OF YOUR KIND!" Many people darted away, but others gathered. A few guards had arrived, but did nothing to stop the fight. He darted forward with great agility, his sword extended all the way out. As soon as he was about two feet away, he raised his blade, and lunged it down, expecting it to pierce the flesh of his fiery opponent.

Kaen looked at the drow quizzically as he said that he was protecting the humans around there. Kaen let out a loud, demonic laugh. "You think I am a protector of these people!? Ha! Do not make me laugh you miniscule over indulged elf! I only help these worthless beings when I gain something from it, they are their species tried to kill me!" He watched as the drow charged at him with his blade. Kaen took his blade and countered the blow, suprised when steam rose from the two swords clashing.

"That is interesting." He said as he pulled his blade away. "You are using an ice blade to combat me... well, at least you are not that much of a fool, but you are a fool none-the-less" Kaen raised his sword slashed at the supports of a building next to them, the guards rushed away as it began to collapse. "Let us see if you are worth any true effort!"

As the building came down Kaen knocked the pieces of the building away from him, his vision obstructed by the falling debris. He thought for a moment about tis drow and gave out a chuckle before letting loose a tremendous roar. he jumped from the debris and landed just outside of it's area, his blade readied for an attack while steam continued to rise off of it.

He knew that this foe would not be easy to fight, and he loved that fact. This would make for an interesting day, this would make for some true enjoyment to fight an intellectual, and possibly powerful foe. Several moments passed as the building continued to fall where they had begun to fight, Kaen thought that this enemy may have escaped the destruction and would soon try to strike Kaen as he had his attention on the destruction he had caused.
