Naath Tahab walked silently on a small path that led to the famous Lake Aelin. The moonlight seemed to make her pale skin 'glow', and lit up her hair as well, giving it a distinctive sheen. Her shortbow was hanging in its place on her back, right next to the quiver full of arrows. She was not intending to use it this night, but would if she had to. She was very accurate with her bow, but could still get easily better. The night was dark and it was silently raining, but not enough to get you very wet. The dark sky was dotted with clouds of various shapes and sizes, all of them heavy with water and minutely translucent.
She finally neared the waters and could not help but gaze deeply into it. Naath could see the shadows of fish swimming below her in their underwater haven, perfectly content with their lives. She looked around, so as to make sure no one was around, and took off her bow, quiver, and skirt and laid them down on the shore. (Don't worry, she has a swimsuit on below, I'm not a perv, >.>) She took one final look and dove down into the water to cool herself down. She hoped that she wouldn't be attacked, but doubted that she would. For safty purposes, she had an arrow with her, just incase...
((The picture of the lake looks pretty big, so I'll go off of that ^_^ ))
Vencrest sat on the saddle mounted on the skeletal horse, glancing upward occasionally to see the giant red shadow overhead. Keeping track of where all these animals are is getting frustrating, he thought with a sigh, I must learn to master summoning them soon. He continued looking forward again, awaiting his destination. It hadn't taken long to get there, the lake wasn't to far away. He stared out into its clear blue waters, his gaze disturbed by the dart of fish occasionally. He forced himself to look away, and jumped off his stead, murmuring in drow, "do not head far."
The skeletal horse seemed to understand, and remained at the edge of the lake, still. Zekbel, the dragon flying overhead, noticed that they were stopped, and swooped down, causing massive ripples to form across the surface of the lake. It landed, and bent his massive head, taking a long drink from the surface. "Same goes with you," he said again in the same language, "do not travel far." The dragon also seemed to understand, and jumped into the lake below, using his massive wings to propel himself in the water. He would be mistaken for a sea dragon at first site, but then is dark red color would give him away.
Vencrest decided not to swim, but instead sat on a large flat rock, looking out into the lake beyond. Then he saw it, a dark slim figure plunging out in the water. "Hey you," he shouted. He waited, thinking to himself. "What should I do," he thought aloud, "Should I kill her, with no fear of authorities, or something else." He waited, allowing the rain to gently patter on his dark skin, hoping that she could hear and respond.
