Title: A new arrival
Quaze - August 17, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
In another realm Death decorates every corner of the planet as ashen fire rains from the red clouds above. The waters have turned tainted with blood and debris. Pieces of rock fall from the sky, leaving gigantic craters in the ground. The air is ripe with death as insects crawl over the corpses. Bodies everywhere are too burnt to be identified from another being. Flames burn through most of what is left from the destruction as volcanoes across the planet erupt with terrifying force. The Earth cracks and splits apart in the sheer force of the destruction and hot magma seeps from the splits in the ground. Only one figure stands alive, wrapped in an enchanted cloth cannot be destroyed but does not protect the body. It is clothing that allows for eternal secrecy. Only the eyes of the being are visible, they glow green, full of a flurry of emotions as the being watches his home being destroyed. He cannot find his families remains amongst the wreckage but in his language blesses everybody’s spirits for the afterlife. A reddened portal opens behind him as he taps into the planets last bit of life to open it and escape from the destruction. He stays a moment more before leaving through the red portal. Everything falls apart as he leaves the planet. The planet literally shattering into burning pieces while everything on it dies.
A red portal opens in the darkened night of Estolad as most people are asleep. The wrapped figure enters Arda through the portal which crumbles behind him. He examines the area and it is empty except for a few onlookers who stare in awe. Red portals where rare, they mostly meant trans-dimensional teleportation. The humanoid looks around at the signs and cannot decipher them, the portal worked and a sigh of relief came out from beneath the wrappings around his mouth.

Estolad- a village. It was possible he could stay here to hold back his breakdown. "Hmm.... Boring around here...." thought Yoro, the Dragonknight of Darkness. He looked around. "The time is right, Yoro," said a voice. "Decide your fate." "Shut... up... Aurox," he stated. "If I have to stab myself in the gut to shut you up- so be it. If I'm in pain, so are you." This defeated Aurox.
Finally, something that wasn't too boring happened. From a red portal came a humanoid, which he could guess by his figure, with wrappings around his entire body. Who was he? Nobody probably knew, seeing as this portal was red, a symbol of transportation for a different dimension. "About time something happened," said Yoro. "Winged Warrior," he whispered, wings growing from his back. Now to figure out if he must strike.

Kiara sat cross legged on the highest roof she could find. Her tail moving slowly back and forth behind her as she looked at the town. She liked cities and towns at night, it had an on beuty, and it meant she couldnt be seen. Then she noticed an odd red glow from an area of the town. She watched for several seconds, and saw a couple people stare. Finally curiosity over came her, and leapt along the roof tops, her clawed feet clicking along them, as she bounded from roof to roof, her cloak fluttering out behind her.
When she came to see what was happening, her eyes widened a little as she saw a red portal. Something she had to admit she had never seen. She drew up her hood and crouched low, slidding silently down the graded roof to the edge, and keeping low. She found she had no worries of being seen as all had attention towards the portal.
Suddenly a being stepped through, and she then saw chaos behind the portal.
A demon realm.
It was the only explanation. This being, that she could now see, must be a demon.
The scent suddenly came to her though. The being smelled like nothing she had encountered. It had to be a demon. The steel rang as she drew her katanas in each hand, adjusted her hat, and leapt high, over many of the onlookers and landed lightly near the being, quickly settling the cloak around her to mask her actual lineage. No matter what you do, people will always hate you for being a half dragon. The only possible signs now, was if they looked closely to her clawed hands, even more closely to her feet, or looked into her draconic eyes. None ever deciphered the mark on her head, so that was safe.
She took a defenzive stance, crouching low. Only then did she realize how foolish it was to have run at this thing which stood far larger than her.
Funny...it looked a bit smaller from further away she thought.

The wrapped being returned gazes at the people that insisted to coninue staring. If they were not going to make a move he would be able to just leave without so much as a slap. Before he was going to move he could hear somebody landing behind him as the air rustled through the person's cloak. He could see that it was female but what had him pondering was her plated, scaled arms. He looked back at the other people, none of them had the same arms as this femal. The wrapped man pivoted on his left foot until his torso was facing this female, the mist from his eyes fell to the ground in between them as he examined her closer. She had two blades drawn and seemed to be in a defensive position as if she expected him to strike first. He ignored her and turned to his right and walked forward.
He stopped after walking several feet as he saw a male with wings. Yet another strange person whom stood out from the rest. The wrapped man cracked his neck as he looked at all of the people again before continuing forward once more. His fotsteps were muffled by the cloth. It made for movement without noise so that he could travel at night without being noticed as much. He stopped as a group of guards surrounded him. "Stop there!" They shouted. He did not move but he also did not understand what they had said. If they made any hostile movements towards him he would be forced to retalliate.

She watched as the being turned, faced her and seemed to look her over. She shivered abit as she looked at him. Shednever seen something so creepy before, and so unemotional to the situation. He seemed as if he was taking a stroll. She watched him walk away from ehr then. This though offended her. He was just ignoring her! Even if he gave a nasty remark to her, at least thatw ould have been acknowledging her. She pouted and stalked the being till Guards came and stoppe dhim. She slowl moved towards his back.
"Whatcha here for Demon?" she asked, keeping her voice down so the guards did not register her. She hoped she could keep the guards from taking notice of her.
She crouched lower into her cloak, becoming as nondescript as possible.

As the guards continued blocking him he heard the cloak of the scaled woman ruffle behind him. He could understand that she was adressing him but did not understand what she was saying. He could, however, tell that she was not somebody that would show herself to the guards. Her voice dropped low when she spoke to him, her blades were still drawn but hidden within her cloak. He stood there a moment more before one of the guards approached him with a spear. "Come with us!" The guard said before attempting to grab the wrapped man by the arm. He quickly threw the guard onto the others, knocking them out of the way as he continued forward, for some reason he could tell that the young woman was curious about him. His blade made itself known as the wrapping unraveled around the hilt when he tossed the guard aside.

Dude, this guy was strong. He must have been to throw the guard that tough. Yoro went into the skies and drew out his bow. He didn't know who to aim for, so he just put in an arrow and began to wait. "Kill them all!" Oh boy, here it was. A huge headache came to Yoro. "Get... away... from me..." Yoro's wings vanished, and he began to plunge to the ground. "Firing an arrow is the only way to save yourself!!!" "I... can't....." Yoro closed his eyes. "What are you doing?!!" "Something I should've done earlier..." His wings were returned when he yelled, "Winged Warrior!!" "NOO! You couldn't!" "And here I float," said Yoro.
Back to business...
Closer to the ground this time, Yoro readied the bow and looked around. Somebody here would be his target- no matter what. Was this person actually a demon? Or was it some sick joke? Either way, things would come together in the end.
"I will destroy you..."

Kiara blinked as she watched the guard get thrown. If it was not from sucha frightening being, it would have been rather funny. But under current circumstances, she almost soiled herself. She then glimpsed a winged man take to the air and draw a bow and arrow. She then watched as the man seemed to have a bit of a spasm, fall a bit, yell something nonsensical, and then take aim at the monster again.
"What a wierd town I decided to take a rest in...", she thought.
Then she noticed the giants back turned to her. If she couldnt win fairly, and she rarely ever did, she would resort to her time practiced methods. A blade or two in the back and run for the hills hoping that did the job, and come back later to plunder the body.
Yep. Good plan.
She adjusted her hat, and in a lightning quick move leapt at the monsters back, arms splayed out, points towards the monsters back.

The female's cloak rustled as she launched herself into the air, her blades whistled through the air as she came down behind him. he reacted quickly and pushed forward. By now the guards had stood and prepared to strike him full-force but were caught off-guard when he seemed to charge them. Before he ran into them he pushed off of the ground a landed a couple feet behind them. He turned and a low growl came out from under the wrappings as he took his sword out of it's wraveling and went into a defensive stance with the giant blade. Near the guard of the blade it seemed to be in a frozen pulse of metal. The man's stance was slightly hunched over with the blade sitting in the air, ready for any further attacks.

((It would help if I had an opening. I basically can't do anything but continue to stay in the air.))
"Wow, this guy means business," said Yoro. "After him!" someone shouted. Yoro looked down. Behind a building came two guards. This demon would severely wound them or kill them in they caught up to him. He had to stop them. "Steel!" he yelled, tossing a light beam at one of them, causing a chain to rise up and grab his arm, beginning to climb his legs. "What is that?!" "Steel!!!" Yoro fired another speck of light their way. This one made contact with the second guard, capturing him.

The being seemed to move faster than she thought was possible. His back disappeared from her view as he jumped over the guards, Kiara landing nimbly where he had stood. The guards were luckily transfixed on the being as she landed among them. She noticed several guards suddenly get caught in chains as they came to help, and looking at the man with wings in the sky, she watched him trap more.
"Great..they are working together..." she thought.
She leapt high over the guards, and towards the being as suddenly a sword appeared in it's hands. She came down on him as he went into a defensive stance with it.
"Uhoh...too quick to attack..." she thought as she came down onto the being.
Unshadowed Fighter - August 20, 2007 11:14 PM (GMT)
"Not only is he going to kill everyone, but it looks like she'll be one of them!" "Mwahaha! Kill them all! Kill them!" Yoro frowned. Yoro flew down behind a nearby building to hide, put his hood up, then took out his sword. "Crystallica!" he yelled out. A horse began to dash towards him.
Yoro got on top of the horse's saddle. They began to move. "I have to stop the guards," he said. "They will get hurt if I don't."
((Not a big opening...))
Sandman - August 21, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
Everybody was distracted and the winged man dissapeared from view. The female tried to attack the wraped being once more as the guards were afixed on the winged. Now was His time to escape. He blocked her attack and pushed her off by his blade. He turned and tried to escape but was blocked by several more guards. A growl once again came from underneath his wrapping as he stood, ready for one of them to attack. A whinney came from behind one of the buldings and caught his attention. He turned and saw a hooded man rushing at him on a horse. A young shout rang out from the onlookers "Sandman run!" The young voice shouted out. It was followed by a low whisper from the child's parents and caught the guards' attention. Thanks to this child he could now escape. He launched over the guards once more and took his chance to escape. He was beging to be very disliked and if he was ever to revive his planet he would need to make allies. A growl came from his stomach and he stumbled a few feet from the small pain as he continued out of the village premises.
