Title: A little Adventure
Christine - August 16, 2007 02:49 PM (GMT)
A deadly silence of a midnight was pierced by a sounds of commotion.. Young woman was running across the rain forreest wearing torn dress and a dark hooded cloak that hid her stunning beauty. In her pocket there was something important.....something that evil forces hunts her for each day and night. "Why in the world it had to be me?" she muttered some still running as all of a sudden triped onto something fell down into the mud. She stood up looking around if no one is falowing her." Damn it..." she scowled slightly in anger and kept running. She was tired but wasn't going to give up. If she would, she would lose something more than is hunted for...
All of a sudden the sounds of stalker got closer."Great...what now?" she mumbled some as all of a sudden she noticed a glimps of a small little girl with black hair. She appeared and has been gone as quickly as appeared. Christine cought herself beeing curious and fallowed that girl and in a distance she saw a phantom little girl who ran away giggling. She was wearing a beautyful pure white dress. Christine recognized that dress and fallowed more that girl into the depths of a forest and came to a dead end. Christine looked around some seeing no one she got comfused."What the...where'd she gone?" she whispered some as the same phantom girl coming out and her eyes widened. " Oh....my...god.." she whispered some. "You are...?" Christine didn't finish her sentence as the girl noded and took her hand leading her to safe place."But how?" she asked but the girl said no any word. Once she was in a safe place surrounded by beautyful flawers in a cave she looked around and then the girl disappeared.
Jaina - August 16, 2007 03:14 PM (GMT)
"It is not safe to be here ispecialy in the middle of the night." Said a soft voice behind her. Jaina could see that the woman was scared and said "I do not know from what you are running or hiding but it will find you. The safest place is the Capital it will find you there but in a time." Jaina was sitting on a huge rock thinking and when she started the conversation she jumped off the rock looked around and when she saw nothing spoke again "If you want i can help you go to the capital." Though Jaina didnt knew the woman she offered her help because she senced when someone is in trouble.
Christine - August 16, 2007 03:52 PM (GMT)
(She wasn't scared, lol)
She jumped at the voice from behind her and facing the woman she pointed her katana at her. Christine wasn't a a coward one and would fight anything what or who ever would get in her way." Who are you?" she asked in untrusting voice tone. Christine couldn't trust anyone but Azlateen for he was only one she knew well since early childhood and the rest of others only was wanting to get her artifackt. "I don't need help, missy......" she said trying to ackt miss brave girl. Her eyes still were darting from side to side now and then hoping to see that girl again but there was no one. " Beside's it's safe enough in here......but thanks anyways....." she said. Her eyes widened slightly seeing a demon already sneaking behind Jaina and ready to strike at her with it's sharp claws. Christine jumped infront of a demon pushing Jaina out of the way and taking a slash of clows in the area of her right arm and part of her chest. "Get the hell out of here, woman" she yelled standing infront of a demon with her katana aimed at it and bleeding.
Jaina - August 16, 2007 04:11 PM (GMT)
"Missy?" Jaina sked with a smile. Then when Christine pushed her and saw the deamon Jaina said "Ana'duna falore, iszera duna bantallas " while waving her hands and two fireballs emerged from her palms. "I dont run from a fight!" she said while considering how the demon will react or how it will attack.
(ooc:sorry i made a mistake)
Christine - August 16, 2007 04:34 PM (GMT)
"Fine..." she muttered some feeling slightly dizzy now from a bloodloss but still stands untill two fireballs flys towards them. One did hit a demon in the shoulder making him to roar in pain and the other one landed onto the ground nearby Christine, an inche from her causing her to fall down and threw her katana." Hey! Watch what ya doing, missy!" she yelled struggling to her feet and rushed at the demon to finish him off but in a matter of no time the demon just grabed her by neck bringing her closer to him and lifting from the ground."Where is the artifact, woman?" the demon hissed at Christine." What artifact?" she asked ackting a foolish one that doesn't knows anything about the artifact." You lie!" he roared into her face making her to look aside." Man....you should clean your moth....you stink like hell" she said smirking with a fain smirk trying not to give into fear.
Azlateen - August 16, 2007 04:53 PM (GMT)
"UNGH!!" Az grunted as he hit the ground from a long fall. And a long fall it was, coming from above the treetops, and luckily landing through an opening in the trees. Even though he didn't have branches to worry about breaking his fall, he still had the ground to cushion it. Like that did much good.
He had been flying above the trees over the forest with his little counterpart, Little Az. Little Az had wanted to go flying around at this time of night, being restless in their hotel room. Az too was a bit restless, with many a thought running through his head, keeping him up from a deep slumber. He couldn't stop thinking about the Realm of Dreams he had encountered, how Little Az came into reality through it, and visions of himself and his old love Christine were created into reality. That really sparked up his thoughts. He had wondered where she had been, how she was doing. He had left home before he had a chance to say good bye to her. He kind of regretted it, and wished he could get another chance at it. And he just might.
So as he was flying, like usual, his demoness mother popped out of the sky in a dark cloud, cackling. It was just something she liked to do, and something Az encountered almost everytime he flew around. She would always appear right above him, and slam him down with a very hard punch. Which is exactly what happened tonight, sending Az and little Az careening towards the ground.
Az took hold of Little Az in his arms, flipped over so that his back was face down and wrapped his wings around them. Then he slammed into the ground painfully. He was wearing his bone armor, but that didn't do much good against long falls such as that. He laid for a moment, still conscious and now used to falling that. He unravelled his wings from around the two, and sat up with Little Az still in his arms. "You alright there little buddy?" He asked, a little breathless.
Little Az was giggling, perfectly fine. "Let's do it again!" He said in his squealish voice. Az couldn't be angry at that. He just smiled and fell back to the ground, completely in awe that Little Az liked to fall. At least he knew he kept the kid safe enough for him to say that. "Let's not." Az replied, his anger towards his mother gone. It was hard to be angry when there's a child's innocence to fix things up.
Letting go of Little Az, Little Az stood up and looked around. He saw Christine and Jaina before Az did. He just stood there, watching them kill off the demon. "Azzy, what are they doing?" Little Az asked, pointing towards them. Az sat up, still a little dazed, and watched the scene progress almost to the end. He recognized Jaina immediately, but thought he might have known the other from a long time ago. He frowned, trying to place who it was.
Grunting again, he stood up and practically ripped off his bone armor. It was constricting him of breathing for the moment, and he probably wasn't going to need it. His demonic blade, sheathing behind him, was drawn in his hand. He figured he's lend a helping hand, just to make sure things were ok. "Stay here little buddy, I'll be right back." Az said. Little Az took a seat, and watched what was going to happen.
Az walked over to them, wearing his dobok pants and a sleeveless shirt, grasping his purple mithril blade. He stopped right inbetween them and said, "Did you kill it off?" He looked at the demon, waiting for it to make a move. He himself was a half demon, but didn't like full demons when they came to kill. He looked to Jaina, waiting for a response. He still didn't recognize Christine yet, but the danger at hand overcame his curiousity for his long lost great childhood friend, and probably something more.
Jaina - August 16, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
Jaina senced that she was playng dumb for the artifact but now she didnt care. As the demon was holding her it was hard to aim the fireball so she mumbled some words and again from her hands fireballs emerged they were small ones but with a great number something like a barrage. Then Az came and asked something but jaina was far too concentraited on sustaining the fireballs that she didnt hear the question. But she greeted him with a nod of her head and mumbled "Nice to see you here." Then she sustained her cerfuly aimed 'barrage' of fireballs.
Christine - August 16, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
The fireballs barely missed Christine hitting a demon. It roared again in pain and squeezed her throaght again this time a bit more tightly." Where is the artifact, woman......tell me or die.." the demon hissed at Christine. She closed her eyes half way but still a faint smirk remained." Kill me and you won't find it...." she scoffted at the demon. Then at all of a sudden her attention was distracted by a male voice who just fell from a sky and came in handy. "Does he looks like dead?" Christine asked nearly sarcasticaly and kicked demon into guts making him to gasp for air in pain and loosen grip. Christine fell down and crowled away. She struggled onto her feet taking her katana and with other hand holding onto her slash wound made demon's claws.
Azlateen - August 16, 2007 05:36 PM (GMT)
"Thanks, it's good to be here." He said to Jaina in his renewed confident voice, kind of sarcastically too. Az looked at Christine in the grasp of the demon, and felt stupid for not even recognizing her. Thoughts of their reunion a while ago rushed back, making him smile. But, it was soon wiped off as Christine was in trouble. He regretted not seeing her danger sooner, but she still seemed ok for now, just a little woozy for now. Maybe he would have to have a little fun, if even Christine could keep up sarcasm in her situation. "Ok ok, I'll help you." He said responded with a reformed grin. He always knew she had a knack for being sarcastic in fights and such, and Az just found it great that she had that kind of humor in her at all times.
He took the opportunity of the stunned demon and rushed forward at an incredible speed. He lashed out with his demonic blade straight in front of him, aiming to stab right through it's gut. He reached the demon still sruggling for air, and sunk his blade as deep as he could sink it. He pressed his body up against the demon, and ripped out the blade violently. "Don't." He said simply, jumping back just in case he had to dodge an incoming barrage of fireballs again.
He had heard something about an artifact, but couldn't be sure what they were talking about. He knew Christine had something, and knew that demons were after it, but couldn't be sure if this was the same kind of event. It probably was, from the info she gave him at their reunion. "Everyone alright?" He asked, still grasping his blade, expecting something more to happen. He looked to Christine and gave her a smile. "Doing ok? Don't worry, I'll get you all fixed up alright?" He said reassuringly.
Christine - August 16, 2007 05:49 PM (GMT)
She blinked some at Az and rolled her blue eyes some as they were changing from black to blue like usualy. " I'm perfect....better than..." she went silent as stumbled slightly feeling more and more dizzy and not showing any sign of pain of her wound. "Better then ever.." she cooed with a faint smirk and fainted a little bit falling down feeling as if the world would spin around her. "Ugh.." she scowled slightly and tryes to struggle onto her two feet again and leans against a random subject. "I hate those demons...." she muttered looking for her katana and reading to attack the demon again.
Jaina - August 16, 2007 07:19 PM (GMT)
As Jaian saw the hole in the demons gut she said "Stand aside!" then stopped her barrage closed her eies and said "E'sia shti eba maikata`kirliva!" Then from withing her hand and it was cerfuly aimed to the guts. She knew that it the creep do not move and the fireball hit him it would mean his inevetable death and she realy hoped that he wont move. While the fireball was flying she looked at Christine and sondered what artefact was the fiend talking about and so she asked "So what artefact was he searching for? I bet it was holding power to chase you for it."
Azlateen - August 16, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
Az only took a glimpse of Jaina's finishing barrage of fireballs before looking back to Christine, seeing her faint. he dropped his blade and rushed to her side. "Relax, you're alright. I'm here, don't worry." He said, holding her steady with his hands. He looked to Little Az and called to him, "Bring me my armor would you Az?"
Little Az responded immediately, and picked up the hefty armor. He ran over to Az and handed it to him, and Az took it. Reaching inside, Az pulled out a shirt he used for padding to help falls like the one he just experienced just a few moments ago. plus it was rock hard inside that armor, so he needed something soft to counteract it. He looked to Jaina, ripping a little of the shirt off, tearing it into long thick strands. "Never mind the artifact." He said to Jaina. "We got an injury to take care of."
He dropped his bone armor on the ground, and proceeded to wrap Christine's slashes on her arm, and part of her chest. He worked quickly, not wanting her to deny the help or do anything Az wouldn't do. Heh oped she'd cooperate, and was she sure she would. He basically wrapped her from her left shoulder, going down to cover her wounds on her chest, and secured those to stop any more bleeding. Then he took smaller strands and wrapped up the wrounds on her arm. He was done within a matter of a few short minutes, and stood back a step when he was done. "There, all done. Sure you're ok?" He asked to make sure. He knew how Christine liked to think she was alright, so he always just took intiative to just help her out even if she didn't want it.
Christine - August 16, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
She watched Azlateen treat her wounds and a faint smile came to her lips. She would hug hum tightly but her wounds wouldn't allow that so instead Christine only lifted her hand placed her gentle palm upon his cheek tenderly and and placed a kiss upon his cheek softly." Caring and helpful as always, Az huh?" she said faintly. "Thank's for the help to both of you, guys" she said with a faint smile. "Seems i owe you...my life.." she said. Christine wasn't too proud so it wasn't too hard to her to admit that withought them she would have been killed. "I sugest....to get outta here.." she said with a faint voice that still sounded like angel's sighing and mached her angelic stunning beauty in whitch they could see innosence and something more at same time.
Azlateen - August 17, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Az smiled as she kissed him on the cheek. It was just like old times now for the both of them. He would have hugged her too, but he didn't want to hurt her even more. So instead, he just playfully ruffled her hair and grinned. "Yes, that's me. Ol' caring and helpful Az," He said, still grinning. He still liked to be playful around, especially since there was company about. Otherwise, he probably would have been a little more sensual around her. "But I don't think you owe us anything."
"Though getting out of here might be an idea. Never know when more of those demons come out and try and do the same thing." He said. He wondered where they would go though. They could go back to town, grab a bite to eat, share stories around a table of drinks, or just stay in the forest. In awkward silence. Az would rather have gotten out there, since he still had Little Az.
Little Az just stood around, being the content little kid Az always was. He needed something to do though, and if they didn't leave who knows what he might do. Little Christine might help out a little. But for now, Little Az decided to take Az's fallen bone armor and try it on. He had trouble lifting it above his head, but he managed quite well and put it on. It was super big on his small body and build, and it made him stagger just standing there. "Halt demons! I will take you- WAA!!" He started putting up an act for the three of them, acting like a great hero, but took a step forward as he was talking and fell to the ground.
Az laughed, and picked up Little Az by the back of the bone armor and set him upright. "Try again little guy. Keep balance this time," He said sarcastically watching in amusement.
Christine - August 17, 2007 02:54 PM (GMT)
She smiled as he ruffled her hair. He always loved to do that and she didn't mind. Christine wondered where her little phantom girl has been gone.....she lead her to this dead end and disappeared. "Yeah....let's get out of here" she mused faintly and pushed herself off the tree doing her best to still stand on her two feet. It was hard but Christine always was stubborn. She glanced at Jaina and extended her other hand that wasn't hurt."Name's Christine, missy......please to meet ya even thought the circumstances were not the best" she said with a faint grin.
Jaina - August 17, 2007 03:11 PM (GMT)
Christine startled Jaina when she introduced herself "...umm...yes yes pleasure to meet you i'm Jaina." Afer Jian told her name she catched the hand and make the handshake than said "Your would pains you. I Can heal you if you want." Then she looked at the boy and asked Az "Every time i see you you supprise me." Then she kneeled to the boy extender her hand for handshake with him and said "Hello little one i'm Jaina how is your name?" Then she smiled at him because he was looking funny with the armor he just put on.
Christine - August 17, 2007 03:29 PM (GMT)
She grinned faintly at Jaina's suggestion."Thank you but my wound is just fine....just a little scratches" she said some and noticed the girl with pure white and perfectly clean dress. The girl appeared and run into the jungle. "Lookky!...There's my mine - me" she said pointing at the running away girl."I think she wants us to fallow her.." she said and rushed to fallow after the girl." Let's go, guys"
Jaina - August 17, 2007 03:42 PM (GMT)
While jaina was kneeling to infront of the baoy she said to Christine "Umm i do not know waht you are seeing but i dont think we should follow it." Then she stood up and looked to see what Christine was reffering for. It was for the first time she was agains something and said "it may be a trap some demons can play with your head and it may lure us into a trap."
Azlateen - August 18, 2007 06:15 AM (GMT)
Little Az looked up at Jaina, and said, "I'm Az too! And so it he!" He pointed to his older self with a childish grin, nodding. He was young, and didn't know what to do with her outstretched hand. Az looked at them and he said, "Yes, Jaina, this is also Az, a little version of me." He nudged Little Az. "You shake her hand." He said, almost whispering.
"Oh!" Little Az said, and shook Jaina's hand. He let go and took off Az's heavy bone armor, tossing back onto the ground. Such mistreatment, but it had been through much worse already. Az chuckled a little, and saw Little Chrissy too. Little Az saw his new friend, Little Chrissy along with the rest, and exclaimed, "Chrissy! Hey wait for me!" Then he ran off after Little Chrissy, happy to be with his friend.
Az went and picked up his demonic blade, sheathing it in his sheath, on the backside of his pants. Then he picked up his bone armor, holding it in one hand, a lot easier than Little Az. He looked to Jaina as she spoke of her theory of a trap, and knew she was wrong. "It's alright Jaina, that's just a little copy of Christine here. She's harmless, just a ghost. But she makes a great friend for my own little copy. They're always playing tag." He looked to Christine and gave her a wink, following right behind her at a brisk walking pace. He didn't know where they were going, but he smiled and followed, happy to tag along.
Quaze - August 18, 2007 07:18 AM (GMT)
Sandman, as he had been called back in the small village, had been traveling through the misty forest for some time now. Underneath his wrappings were scratches from the nearby foliage that had scraped across the wrappings, inevitably transferring all of the damage to Sandman. He ignored the minor scratches and continued through the dense mist that hung in the trees. He turned his head to the bottom of the canopy as several birds called out amongst the trees, either to each other or to find their way through as a bat does. He thought back to that night he escaped his dying planet and the destruction that had happened all around him. He stopped a moment in depression, his monstrous form would have easily been mistaken for a statue if it was not for the wrappings which blew loosely in the small drafts that blew past the trees. The sound of people in the distance broke him from his depression. He searched amongst the mist and could see five people that resembled the people at the small village; the once closest was a small female who seemed different all though she had all physical appearances of the other ones. Sandman finally realized it as the young girl got closer, she was transparent. The light from objects behind her showed themselves through her torso. Sandman stepped away and concealed his presence in nearby foliage. He was not fully hidden but you would have to be looking for him to clearly see that he was behind the foliage.
Christine - August 18, 2007 08:32 PM (GMT)
The little phntom girl stoped running in her tracks. She senced the stranger...it's wicked energy. The ghosts can sence and see more than a human would with mortal eyes. Girl pinted towards directions of sandman and stood there glancing at the four of them. Christine stoped in her tracks and blinked at her transperant mini - me the glanced around and at Azlateen. " Something's wrong, Az.....little Chrissy wants to show us something....but i can't see what it is.." Christine said in a whisper and grasped for her katana. "You better call little Az to come closer to us..... she said and stood closer to Azlateen. She got worried but didn't want to show it especialy when thereare two little kids around. "Azzy, come here!" she called out to the little boy. "Chrissy, you come too..."
Azlateen - August 20, 2007 04:24 AM (GMT)
Az felt it too as they walked along. He stopped right behind Christine, watching Little Chrissy stop and look. Little Az had stopped a little ways after her, and walked back to her, curious to know what she was looking at. "Hold on, I'm going to check it out." Az said to Christine. He walked over to where Little Az and Chrissy stood, looking into the foliage. He frown, only seeing a faint silhouette. He could tell what it was, but he didn't want to take any chances.
"Az, get behind Christine." Az said to Little Az firmly. Little Az went quietly over to Christine, and clung onto her clothing, a little scared. But what little kid wouldn't be? Az wasn't scared of much when he was that age, but even when his father said he should retreat a little, Az had a right to be afraid. "Chrissy, you too." He said to the phantom girl. He reached for his demonic blade, and drew it out of his sheath in the back of him. He held out at the arms length, pointing the tip at what he thought was neck level to the silhouette. Az didn't want to sound like any hero, but now seemed like a bad time to him. Not when I'm with Christine, especially when she's hurt. Not ever when I'm with her. He prayed to himself, hoping things will go quietly.
He squinted into the darkness, thinking he saw he saw some sort of bandage, but nothing seemed to be there. He lowered the tip of his blade, thinking there was nothing there. It was too dark for even himself to see. He couldn't hear what was there, nor could he smell what was there. Though something didn't smell right to Az. It smelled like, something out of this world or something. Even Az's heightened senses couldn't pick anything. He frowned, and walked back to Chrissy, not sheathing his blade just in case. "Let's hope there was nothing there." He said standing next to her, looking to where he was just at. "Shall we keep going?" He asked the group, making small circles with the tip of his blade in the air near the ground.
Christine - August 20, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
Christine put her hand gently and assuring upon little Az's back as he clung to her clothings. Soon enough ;ittle Chrissy came to her too and stood behind her. "Everything's gonna be alright, kids.....we won't ever let anything happen to you two.." she said in a firmly yet soft voice tone. "Yeah let's go, Az....it's not safe in these forests.....we should find a place to stay at...." she said and glanced at the kids. They were so sweet and cute....their innocence could captivate anyone who would be around little Az and Chrissy.
Sandman - August 21, 2007 02:16 AM (GMT)
Another growl of hunger erupted from Sandman's stomach as the hunger set in along with the sorrow of everything he had lost. The growl was low and quite long revealing where he was. He stumbled a bit and fell into the tree to his right, shaking several leaves off of it. He also rustled through the bushes some which added to the fact he was there. His hunger grew and the hunger pains grew with it . He stumbled several feet out into the open where the travelers could see him. A long and drawn out sigh was let from his mouth as he momentarily recovered from the hunger pains. He looked to the travelers since it was already so obvious that he was there and breathed heavily from the pain.
Christine - August 26, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
She blinked some as creature fell down. She saw that it's in pain....somehow Christine's heart could not to allow to her not to help to the creature. Littly Chrissy already knew what she's going to do and just tryed to hold onto little Az. Meanwhile Christine slowly approached the creature and knelt dow beside." Are you alright, sir?" she asked carefuly. "Is there...anything we could help you?"
(terribly sorry for the shortness)
