Title: Haunts of Depravation
Description: where the morning fears to tread...

Lady Darkness - August 9, 2007 04:35 PM (GMT)
OoC: I'll be useing a darker shade of red for LD IC. But I'll be stealing her MISTRESS'S theme. >:3

IC:

Spells lay daggers before me,
passion speaks in grue, vehement stabs
Trance my eyes, fix my focus to pain.
The tumour grows until the enemy is slain.

A small group of five men made their way through town, covering majority their faces with the collar's of their jackets and sunglasses to hide their eyes. From the outskirts and beyond, a shadow had followed them here without their notice, keeping to the darkness as most of her kind did. The ebony demonic tails in her orbs swirled once around the slit while her dark eyes furrowed, perfactly hidden in darkness as she watched their every movement. Long black fabric glided soundlessly in the air as she pursued them, raising an arm to the near branch of a tree. Ebony claws flexed and dug into the bark to help her claw her way up and reach a higher branch to get a better vantage point. They were heading west.

Sightless storm,
knee deep in hate I seeth.
My purpose here has woken to breathe
Total war on the brethren of Man
Millions regardless,
dying by my hand.

All of her hunts began like this. Always including the clueless who least expected any form of trouble, lat alone have a sai that glowed red driven through their heart like a stack when they turned their back to the darkness. Pitiful creatures they were. Humans, drow, elves, it didn't make a difference. At least partly animals things were a slight challenge hence that they sometimes heard her coming. This however, wasn't the case. Drow again. Pity to waste such a precious amount of blood that could easily be tainted by evil if given the proper hand. The emotionly distraunt were no fun to kill nor torment, save for the sounds of their cries and screams. She did love it when they begged her for death, though. Just to piss them off, she didn't grant death until they least expected it. She'd been following this group for a few hours now. But like a spider spinning it's web, Lady Darkness was waiting for the right moment to strike.

A Black age of Fire
Breif in it's vicious eloquence
Removing the dross
Love will arise from the ashes of your loss
Then and only then
will the pleasure of Eden be mine.

Her gaze shifted when they turned, calculating where they were going. An alley? she thought with an arched brow, This is too easy. Lady Darkness lept from tree branch to tree branch on the various trees to reach one that over hung the alley way the group of drow where heading into. They weren't haggard, thankfully. Maybe they'd put up a good fight? Not likely. Lady Darkness reached behind her to draw the Sais of Malice from their cases, twirling them once to let the hilts rest against her arm while the handles pointed away from her body as she kept her fingers in a steady fix between them, preparing for the attack. The sais gave of a ravenous malice glow that pulsed in and out like an aura, radiating their arcane might. Lady Darkness smirked. Another drow entered the alley by himself, holding a box clasped in both hands. Payment for a job well done, perhaps? Regardless, she'd claim their prize for her own, whatever it was and take his life too. Just because she was feeling... giving today. No need to not share, right? And who liked indian givers? The group entered the alley right on time and meet with the lone drow. Lady Darkness rose to her feet, twirling her sais' in attack position as she targetted the nearest member of their little group, also calculating how far she'd have to jump. Not that far.

She came raining down upon him like a shadow whose hands gleamed silver one moment, and the next red, a sharp cry of agony lancing the air suddenly. The assassin stabbed the hilt of her dagger into his back, low. When her feet met the ground, Lady Darkness gave a grunt as she lifted him over her head; the other members of his group along with the 'dealer' glanced in his direction in sheer aghast. "Care to dance?" she asked, baring her ivory demonic fangs as she spun him on the tip of the blade. He shreiked with unbarable agony that soon ended as she lifted the over-- the acceleration of his momentum colliding with the ever still claws of her free hand that resulted in a shower of blood and gore as it sliced mercilessly through his limbs. She then joined the two blades at the core of his back that was still impaled and shreaded it to ribbons. That was enough for their dealer; he shreiked and ran as fast as his meek little drow legs would carry him. SHe noted his action with little interest. This won't take long. The other members of the group presented their weapons-- daggers and short swords. She smirked. Pathetic.

And the sinews of life itself will be tied
in the very veins of my bloodline
ANd their tears taste like wine...

They came at in a fury of yells and tears which she greeted with a purely satanic scowl and cackle. Their 'leader', as she guessed hence that the other followed his lead, struck first, aiming for her heart. Lady Darkness spread her legs and dropped in a split, sending her sais upwards into his stomach while he soared over her while getting an empact that would stop his motion as he stabbed only air. She flicked his carcass to the side as the spikes emerged from the heels of her boots, whipping her legs round to score the flesh of a few legs before she stood once more. The drow were persistant, however, and didn't know when to give up. They kept charging at her in futile attempts; Lady Darkness was beginning to doubt their skills. She twirled her sais', licking the hilt of one of them to intemidate her enemies while she ate the blood of their comrade. They fell in step in shadows and rushed once more, taking her by surprise with their speed as a long dagger stabbed though her stomach. She gasped and smirked, grabbing the hilt just as they thought they'd finally got her and broke it with little effort. When he released the severed long dagger, she placed the handle of the left sai in her mouth while she went forth her hand. Five black claws flexed as malice blazed in her black eyes, the razor sharp tips piercing his clothes and skin in seconds, taring into his chest to reach the heart cavity. She grabbed hold of it and ripped it from his chest like Lillian Bloodmare did to her victoms in a fight, pulling it to her lips to take a bite of the still beating organ that trickled blood down her gloves.

In the glory of the earth
our crowns are studded with the jewels of blasphemy
The blood is the life!

Three down. Two more to go. Lady Darkness calmly met blades with one of them while the other planned a sneak attack by creeping up from behind. This tect. was one of her specailities; Lady Darkness flung the main attacker back by prying his weapon before churning on her heel to take the momentum of the other's weapon against him by a skill known to the knights of her Kingdom as 'the ghost step'. He fell to the earth, choking on his own blood while the demon punched the other straight in the face to send him backward, stabbing the free sai through his heart good only once. She finnished the heart and collected the other sai from her mouth, turning to watch their mysterious dealer still fleeing a few feet away. Lady Darkness reeled back the left sai, calculating her aim before she let it sail through the air at eye blinding speed that seemed to explode in mid flight before piercing into his throat when he turned as he heard the 'popping' sound. Foolish drow. The Knight of Torment calmly approached the fallen drow, retreived her weapon, and plucked the box from his hands while blood gargulled from his mouth and throat. She smiled wickedly. "Aww, for me? You shouldn't have!" she jested, turning away from the scene to make her way back over to the others. She wondered what else they had tucked away in their jackets and decided to keep the secret of this box hidden for later, tucking it away in her secret pocket for safe keeping.

Crystal - August 10, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
A sense of dread raised crept up his throat as he walked down the road. Using the face and figure of the noble knight Pathelon he hoped that he wouldn’t have any trouble with the locals here. Coming to a blood spot in the ground he bent down to smell the blood. Thats when he saw 5 corpses of men on the ground to rot until some poor lost soul wound chance upon finding them, never in all his years he never saw so much carelessness for human blood except by Belschazzar. “Could it be" he thought to himself, “no no I’m imagining it he couldn’t be here I would know”. Just to be safe though he drew his sword brandishing it right and left hearing the hiss of metal though the air he felt growing relief knowing he was at least not alone in this world.

Knowing something wasn’t right, he converted back to his demon form and jumped into the sky , using his wings to propel himself into the sky he saw what could have looked like a women walking down the path. Hoping for the best he flew from the sky and landed lightly onto the floor aback of her. With a deep growl Crystal snarled “what are you doing here, and why did you attack that camp” while raising his sword pointed it at the demon

Lady Darkness - August 10, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)

Lady Darkness made her solitary way from her 'kill', washing the blood off from her sais with a gloved hand. Normally, she cleaned up after a successful mission such as this being as it had a noticable body count pilled on it, but she left the corpses their for a reason. She wanted them to be found. She wanted the people to start an uproar conserning their safety now that a mysterious new assassin had weaseled their way through Arda's thresh hold. The publicity was what she wanted. Her name being spread throughout this miserable world like wild fire, turning a few heads in it's path. People of interest and perhaps others that wanted the same thing as she and snuffed her out to start an alliance. Give me a few more jobs, and they'll be buzzing with news of murder. she smiled contortedly at the thought.

I seek to evoke a new order in Man
A flood of compulsion to resurrect Khem.
The lion is vexed to uproot and decend
Chaos my steed in the thick, clinging dust.
Tempering weapons of criminal lust.

Momently afterwards, she picked up strong wind beats on the air currents. Something was headed her way, and it was HUGE judging by the pressure it gave off. Her smile faded into a smirk as the creature in question landed behind her, sending her dark hair flying with the sweep of wind past her face. "What are you doing here and why did you kill those people?" it snarled deeply. It's dark voice held a bit of a demonic taint to it. Another demon? Here? How quaint. Her deed had already been noticed. A purely satanic smile slithered to her thin lips in an evil satisfaction. Excellent!

I hold sway from the East to fulfill prophecies
Thinning the cause as fresh to cells to disease.
The blood is the life!

Turning with one swift, liquid motion on her heels, Lady Darkness glared at this other demon with malice flaming into an inferno in her eyes that bore the demonic tails-- a symbol ALL demons knew quite well as the emblem of demonic kind. She eyed the hilt of his sword, raising a gloved hand to push it's tip away from her in difiance. "Some gentleman you are." Lady Darkness hissed between her ivory fangs, biting off each poisonous word as she said them, "Pointing the hilt of your weapon at a lady. Tsk, tsk, tsk. How rude!" How did he know that it was her who had killed them? Ah, right. Scent. Being a demon allowed them to dicifer scents with ease, even those that could not be sensed by others because of aura. He also seemed to be part animal. A were at that, which further inhanced his ability of scent. What a rare find indeed! Such a brute could pose a serious threat... and that alone caught her attention. She could use him.

Even the moon will not lend thee her light
The darkness serves will to snuff out life
That I might reclaim the world as my right.

The Dark Demon gestured to herself, dipping her head in a chaotic greeting. "Pity. Those of OUR country show mannor before hostility. Or have you already forgotten the ways of our kind, were demon? Such a kemako demono..."
(QUICK NOTE: "Kemako demono" means "bad demon" and is often used as an insult, even among evil alliend demons.)
"I'm an assassin, can't you tell or are you blind? That was my mission, and as you know, that particular mission was a success. Is there any more brainless questions you'd like to ask me other than my name?!"

Crystal - August 10, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
Crystal waited with his sword drawn for a reply. But what he got was so much worse, "I'm an assassin," she said that made his mind whirl why would anyone need a assassin here especially a demon who don't just work for gold"

But before that didn't she say "Pity. Those of OUR country show manner before hostility. Or have you already forgotten the ways of our kind, were demon?" those words still etched on his brain as he replied,"Pity you say? Its pity that I have any connection with filth like you. I have more in common with this world then I would ever with yours."

"Who exactly sends a fowl assassin, who couldn't even fight if she had too. You feel so glad about yourself that you killed some humans. didn't you have to sneak upon them like a piece of vermin who has to sneak on its pray to be able to kill it, complete your mission you did but no way you could be able to give them a fair chance to fight or you would be dead now.

I want you out of these lands and for you and who ever you work for to go back to the abyss where you came from. Is that understood" He finished with steel coldness in his voice.

Lady Darkness - August 10, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
As he spoke, her body seethed violently in sheer anticipation. Her dark claws flexed and unflexed, taring through her black gloves in her excitment. Ohhh, she was loving this were-demon more and MORE by the second! He had the NERVE to speak to her in such a manor, did he? Lady Darkness threw her head back and howled with laughter that echoed with the strongest demonic taint this world had ever heard as her malice flooded out from her very core and hatred flared into her eyes. "Such BIG talk from someone like you! What NERVE you have to talk to ME in such a way!! You've got spunk, I'll give you that..." Before he even had the chance to reply, Lady Darkness outstreched her hand in a foul swoop of motion, aiming to seize this half-breed by his throat. Regardless of his weight and his height that towered over her, Lady Darkness wanted to hoist him helplessly into the air to give him a good choke. Insulting her Empress wasn't something she tolerated. "But... DON'T YOU EVER INSULT ME, MY QUEEN, OR WORK." she spat, her voice so venomous and deep that it was close to a man's booming voice instead of a woman's. This one had better be careful. Lady Darkness's demonic form was known far and wide throughout demon kind as one of the most horrific monsters alive. And she was only a Dark Knight, a rank lower than Cresent. No one ever wanted to imagine any one like Lady Fox going demon...

I kill without scruple or silent regret,
in haunts of the sinister lunar moon aspect.
For I am the pleasure that comes from your pain
tiny red miracles falling like... rain.

For a moment, LD was sure SHE would appear any moment to teach this half-breed a thing or two about pure bloods, starting with his throat. But SHE never came. Lady Darkness released her hold of Crystal (if she'd ever drabbed him at all), her aura forcing him to shift back into human form while everything within a two foot radious of her died in seconds. Only a TRUE demon's aura could be so powerful. "Couldn't even fight if she had to." she echoed, scowling. "Rubbish! What wonders she could make with your insides... If your wolven eyes decieved you, they were drow. Not mortals. Get your ****ing facts straight. I want everyone to know I did it! And they will just be the first of MANY to die. It's not like they deserve your sympathy... they were just as sinful as I am. And what makes YOU any different? Do you think simple WORDS could make me leave?! You amuse me."

She cracked her neck, sending the sound of cracking bones lancing the still air while the demonic tails in her eyes swirled. Did this man actually think he could kill her? That in itself was a joke! He didn't have anything other than a sword and his demon form. What an unfair fight that would be. But perhaps it would fix his vipor's tongue. However, he wasn't of any use to her dead. "It's a shame to see someone like you on the wrong side. Why not fix that kink in the chain and join me in my quest for absolute power? Riches beyond all your wildest dreams... think about it. Killing people isn't for fun. It's to get their attention. If that doesn't work, we'll try a direct assult. What do you say? But yet... what other choice do you have? Join me..." she paused, a pure satanic evil crossing her lips. "...or die."

Godfrey - August 10, 2007 07:21 AM (GMT)
"Why I would ever have to come to such a place is ridiculous. I am a high priestess! Not mindless peasant rabble!" Muttered a priestess of the Goddess of Light. Escorted by three brawny Paladins, the woman looked more like royalty than a woman of the Goddess. She was fairly young, late twenties to early thirties perhaps. She looked more like a seductress than a priest, revealing more than any humble holy woman would have. Two of her Paladin escorts looked as though they had come right out of training. The other was older, and looked to be around sixty. No matter. A priest and three Paladins would be easy, the hardest being an old man that looked as though he had more muscle than brains.

The three escorts were silent as their priestess continued whining, and looked around, sensing something wrong. The oldest kept his hand rested on his maul's grip, and his muscles were tense. He walked a couple feet ahead of the priestess, and the two younger warriors covered the back, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings. As the convoy made their way into the town after several hours of trekking through the grasslands, they huddled closer together, as to keep anything from happening to the priestess.

Though the Paladins were ever vigilant and watchful, they failed to notice a cloaked man that had been following them since entering the town. He kept to the alleys when he could, but always kept an eye on the priestess and her followers, making sure they didn't stray too far from his sight. He snarled at the fools, then spat. "Worthless god-fearing fools..." The cloaked warrior muttered. He quickly made his way through another alley that would lead him closer to them, cutting them off if he hurried.

The larger, older Paladin quickly raised his right hand, then frowned. He looked to the left and right, then sighed heavily. He shook his head, and figured he was just being paranoid. He had seen some Drow thugs making their way to the town earlier, and he thanked the Goddess Kieraline they had not noticed the group. The other two warriors grasped their swords when their leader raised his hand, and the priestess became a little nervous. She gripped the staff she was holding tightly, then looked around and gripped it even tighter.

"Wh-wh-what is it?" She asked. "Be on your guard, all of you." Was all that the man said. He remained silent, then slowly drew his hulking maul. The other Paladins drew their blades, then looked behind them. They grabbed their shields, then went to either side of the priestess and took up a defensive formation. Something was wrong. The entire group knew. They had all heard a noise from behind them, and turned to look, and when they saw that there was nothing to worry about, they turned back around.

Godfrey, in all of his god-hating glory, stood before them. His cloak had fallen to the ground, his mystical crystal sword gripped tightly in his right hand. He scowled, then twirled his sword and pointed it towards the eldest holy warrior. "Godfrey..." The bearded Paladin muttered. "It is a shame..." The holy man started, calling out to his former pupil, "That one so promising... Could stray so far from the Light..." He ordered the other Paladins to stay with the priestess, and he gripped his maul tighter. "The Goddess did not abandon you Godfrey! You abandoned her, as well as us!" He yelled, with a hint of anger in his gruff, raspy voice. "You were like a son to me! It was I who brought you to the Light! It was I who saved you from your self destructive path!"

Godfrey called back to him, annoyed at the man's pathetic words. "You and your order are as worthless as the Gods themselves! Your end has come, Zukaeli! And so have theirs! Prepare to die old man!" Godfrey roared. He beckoned the warrior onward, and stood in a defensive stance. As the older Paladin swung his mighty hammer, Godfrey rolled out of the way, then charged back towards him and side stepped another strike. He elbowed the massive warrior in the side, then ducked as he was swung at yet again by his former mentor. He grinned, then saw his chance as Zukaeli left his side wide open. He rushed him, then rammed his knee into the old man's side, cracking his ribs, and sending him sprawling.

The Paladin grunted, then stumbled a little more. He held his side, then shook off the pain. He charged again, and raised his maul to strike, but seethed as he brought more pain upon himself. Godfrey grinned, then rammed into the warrior, knocking him against a wall. He kicked him in the side, breaking more ribs, then let out a fierce roar and stepped on his head. Zukaeli grunted in pain, and tried to throw Godfrey off of him, but to no avail. Godfrey noticed the man's head was shoved up against a door, and he grinned. He kicked open the door, shoved Zukaeli in the doorway, then repeatedly slammed the door on his head, easily shattering his skull and splattering blood and brains. He kicked the mangled corpse, then turned to the priestess, who, unlike the two Paladins defending her, was in tears.

Her bodyguards however, had been angered, and quickly retaliated after losing their once fearless leader. As they charged Godfrey quickly grabbed the youngest by the wrist and used his momentum to throw him to the ground, then spun and slammed into the other, knocking the wind out of him. The younger of the two was up again, and charged, this time swinging low. Godfrey spat, then blocked the attacker's sword and grabbed his wrist again, holding it down so he couldn't use his weapon. The crystal sword quickly penetrated the skin of the young Paladin's arm, and he howled in pain before hearing the sickening thump of his own arm hitting the ground. The priestess shrieked, then realized she was standing out in the open. She quickly made her way for one of the alleys, then sat down and rested. Cowardly. Pathetic. One of the many reasons Godfrey hated priests. Many were cowardly, corrupt, and downright pathetic in his opinion.

The warrior that was missing an arm let out a gasp as he was cut across the stomach, then beheaded. Godfrey only grinned at the site of the fallen warrior, then turned to the other, who was still struggling. He smiled evilly, then withdrew his sword and unclipped his spear from a harness on his back. He let out a battle cry, then drove the spear through the man's skull, splintering it. He removed his spear, then quickly turned to the direction the priestess had gone off to. Now that the muscle was gone, all the pale warrior had to do was finish off the woman. He quickly made his way through the alleys, until he heard her sniveling and whimpering. He recovered his spear, then drew his chain dagger and scowled as he came upon the helpless priestess.

"The Goddess of Light's priests and priestesses grow weaker and more pathetic by the day. Relax, I am doing her a favor by ending your miserable life." He said as threw the dagger into her chest, then yanked her towards him and put his arm around her waist. She flinched, fearing for what he would do next, then cried out as the dagger dug deeper into her chest. He felt a pouch full of metal, then raised his eyebrow. He snatched it from her, then took a look at it. "Pretty hefty sack of gold for a humble priestess, don't you think?" He asked before yanking the dagger from her chest, licking the blood off his blade, and throwing her to the ground. "Know this, priestess of the Light. I have lived under the shadow of the Gods for long enough, their time is coming to an end, and none will stop me. You could have surrendered, and joined my cause, but now... You will lay there to rot. So much for fulfilling your service to the almighty Kieraline. May you make a good meal for the alley dogs of Estolad, priestess!"

With that, he cackled, leaving the wounded priestess for dead. Soon after, he felt something powerful... Something dark... Something that made his devilish grin turn into a scowl. He quickly made his way towards the source of the power, then stopped and slid a couple inches. He popped his neck, and gripped his dagger tightly. He noticed two demons, one female, the other male, then snarled. "Demons... Even worse than Angels... Or worshipers of the Light... Perhaps they will kill each other off..." He muttered, then looked at the male, wondering if he was going to strike. He quickly put the gold pouch in his pack, then rolled his shoulders and readied himself, just in case they decided to turn on him instead.

Crystal - August 10, 2007 07:50 AM (GMT)
At least he now knew her master was some kind of queen and also recognizing her now, he knew it was going to be hard to get some more information. "This is going to be tricky and a long night" he thought to himself…

Getting up from the ground Crystal said “Impressive, at least I now know more about you. But this foul Queen as you call her is nothing compared to other creatures that tried to kill me, so why would you and her be any different? Just another set of rules huh.” Marching up to the demon he took both her shoulders and a threw her into the a tree a front of him.

Bending down he took his sword, that was laying on the ground and brandished it to his side in a battle stance. “Oh by the way my name is Crystal please try and remember that ‘Lady Darkness‘,” he finished saying smiling "no as you sure guess is my answer".

Lady Darkness - August 10, 2007 05:08 PM (GMT)
Once again did this brute make the mistake of insulting her Empress. He'd better be glad she didn't take the time for simple minded peasents. If she did... he'd be rolling in his own blood by now. "Nothing compared to the others, huh?" she snickered and spat, "We'll see about that, half breed." Crystal grabbed her by the shoulders, which she allowed, and threw her into the nearest tree. Idiot. He made the mistake of turning his back to her. Lady Darkness straightened her body, her heels meeting the bark of the tree first before she landed on it, cracking her head up with an ear splittering snarl. Lady Darkness uses the momentum of his throw, with her own focus of her legs to propell herself forward. Twirling her blades with an ethereal dark light wisping round her fingers as she soared towards him, murmuring something only she could hear. A spell. The astral energy spirled and flowed like a serpent, and she placed the tips of her clawed fingers on his skull to direct the controlling spell. She lept off of him and landed on her heels without bending her knees.

The incessant pall of death surrounds me
But this is not the part of me that wishes to breed
there will be no dread there after
the mysteries I reveal unto thee.

It was then she noticed the stranger standing nearby. A tall fellow with skin as pale as her's was, with muscles like mountains. Her eyes' followed the path of the red mark, finding it facinating to be on a mortal. What strange humans she was finding here in Arda. But he was certainly an interesting one. In his eyes bore the flames of hate that she recongized completely, a mirror of her own almost. It was then that he knew that he was looking for the same thing she was. Power. Utter control. Complete domination that would soon shower this miserable world and her "gods" like fire.

I stir the hearts of the wisest
By the fools, I will always be feared.
My kingdom feeds off their slaughter...

He was covered in the blood of the innocent. Ha! she smiled to herself. Another sinful soul! Now more than ever, she desired to see the darkness choke the skies and cast an eerie gloom over Arda's lands that no mere deity could lift. He would be a marvilous addition to her army... an ally who could lead a militia of other god-haters right beside hers. What an easy task. All she had to do was recrute him, and she would be another step closer to the master plan.

A cresendo of passion bleeding...
On the pale reflection of dawn
Devour th sun!

Lady Darkness beckoned to him and then turned back to Crystal, who she attempted to force onto his knees by placing a firm palm on his shoulder. "Not so tough now are we, insolent whelmp?" she murmured to him venomously. She kinda wished, only for a moment, that she had Mistress Black's voice. A voice so outragiously poisonous and toxic that if loud enough, could make others faint... or even kill them. She didn't like his attitude, but she'd fix that. If it took spells to control him, then so be it, but he WOULD belong to her! "Wrong answer. Suit yourself, but the offer is always open. When this world drowns in it's own blood, I'll make sure your the first of many to die."

Crystal - August 10, 2007 11:01 PM (GMT)
Feeling her cold hand on his shoulder sent a cold chill up his spin, then she said"Wrong answer. Suit yourself, but the offer is always open. When this world drowns in it's own blood, I'll make sure your the first of many to die."

"No," Crystal yelled sudden madness his eyes turned a blood he smacked her hand away from his arm , "I will never allow that to happen" crystal continued sending a crashing punch to Lady Darkness face sprawling her on the ground. Wanting to cause as much damage as he could cause her, he continued and kicked her on the ground causing LD to raise from the ground flying, but before she landing crystal flew forward catching her. Flying up into the air he smelt innocent blood on another creatures hand. That smell seemed to drive him to a further rage, throwing her in the direction of that creature in the tree.

(I'm sorry its not as good as a usually do but u get the picture and ill edit it later but im to tired at the moment)

Lady Darkness - August 11, 2007 04:49 AM (GMT)
A single word, 'no' escaped the were demon's lips before he swatted her hand off his shoulder like a horse whipped a fly. He seriously had alot of spunk and gut, something that if shown too much of, got on her nerves. He was like a five year old throwing a temper tranterm, clubbing here and smashing there like the reckless brute he was. Was he not properly trained like all little animals were supposed to be? Apparently not.

His left leg moved when he shifted his weight and his arm drew back to prepare for an attack, she noted this with an arched brow. He sent a crashing punch aimed for her face. Lady Darkness simply raised a hand to catch it, throwing his fist back at him when (and if) it landed in her palm. He was lucky she didn't break it. Why was he fighting like a HUMAN? Punching with his fists and kicking with his legs. His power was his own downfall, she realized with a sinister smile, just like rage did to blinded humans to make them careless. Keeping calm while she swiftly calculated his movements before he even registered them (information she gathered by reading his body language), Lady Darkness did her best to avoid his blows. In these moments, she raised a hand to block his assults, or leap over his leg to avoid his kicks. She let him do the fighting while she waited calmly for the right moment to strike.

He raised an arm, and she raised hers in a blocking stance while he punched her body downward. No damage was taken of course, but the momentum of the empact caused her body to fly off the ground, and he was waiting for her in the air. Clever boy. But not clever enough! Out of his eye sight when she rose, her arm lowered mercilessly onto his shoulder, aiming her strike for his shoulder-- a pressure point that when hit, would paralyze his arm for hours. Before he raised another fist to hit her, she shoved his jaw upward to face the sky, turning her body to press the heels of her boots to his chest while she used his own muscle to propell herself downwards. Turning his jaw to the sky would grant her alittle time where he couldn't really see her clearly so she could escape.

Lady Darkness landed with a grunt, snarling viciously. Who the HELL did he think he was?! The other mortal covered with the blood of the innocent was still there. Ohh, you're getting a KICK out of this, aren't you, human? she thought with a hiss. "Kemako demono who fight likes a human! FIGHT ME LIKE THE DEMON YOU ARE!! Come... I crave for a good spar... I ****ing DARE you! Never stick your hand in my face again, bastard. Pray to whatever insufi-ni-fi-cant god you worship, half breed. Fire WILL rain from the sky and under those burning rocks you will find me there... waiting to grant you the plenalty of DEATH!!!" she snarled between her darkened fangs, turning on her heels while she whirled her fingertips that sparked with astral. Vines of pain constricted his mind, forcing him to obey.

She was done playing games now, but she stood a few feet away from where he hovered in the air, watching his anger grow. How absolutly delicious it was to watch him struggle in both his rage and her spell. A weak one, but she wanted to test his will power. It wouldn't surprise her if he broke it. She wanted him to. Hence that if he DIDN'T, he wouldn't be of any use to her at all. It made her ponder if this mortal could be of any use to her. But judging by his size alone, he'd be of a bit of use. He could kill, and that was enough fact for her.

Crystal - August 12, 2007 03:15 AM (GMT)
Doing it by sheer instinct, Crystal flapped his wings in a tremendous stroke, releasing his arm from paralysis and causing a torrent of air around him. Smiling with his new found talent he twirled around the air causing a vortex of wind around him rejuvenating his body. Dropping on the ground in a kneeling position a shower of sparks was released from his body. wow that demon can hurt, he thought."As you can obvious see your spells don't have any lasting effects on me, so either try harder, or die," He finished saying throwing his sword in a blast of fire straight at Lady Darkness heart.

Lady Darkness - August 12, 2007 04:21 AM (GMT)
OoC: We have to stick to the plot lines, alright? Crystal has to remain under her spell for a bit longer. Long enough for LD and Godfrey to get in a few words. Speaking of, after this, it's his turn.

The Knight of Torment arched a dark brow upon this infirior hybrid while he spoke. 'Try harder or die'? she smiled at that. I don't think so. You can't kill me. I'm immortal. He threw his blade at her that sparked with fire. Now he was getting smarter. Good boy. Lady Darkness smiled and stood there in her place, idolly, out streaching her arms with a sadistic smile on her face as if saying 'give me your best shot'. Fire will rain from the skies she remembered herself say. How ironic.

His sword sliced through her stomach in a blaze of inferno, sending sparks to shower the ground. She grunted on the empact, but again, she couldn't feel 'pain' from this strike. A loud 'hiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssss' echoed from the 'wound' as black mist poured out from the hole as soon as it hit her and settled. For a moment, the mist coiled about the hilt of the blade and constricted it, trying to force it deeper as if it was trying to devour it. Lady Darkness smiled and took it by the handle, thinking about breaking it off at the hilt plounged inside her figure but decided to save it for next time, and pulled it out. Glaring up at him with a smile that of a mad woman, her cold, malice filled eyes pierced through his when they met. "Watch." she said simply, not caring if he could hear her.

The dark mist withdrew from the silver hilt of Crystal's sword and retreated back inside of her as the unbleeding hole on her stomach that the blade had made, healed. Dust fell from the last inch of severed flesh, now completely whole again. She cursed, loudly this time. "Now I've got to re-order this outfit from BrokenStar AGAIN!! O well... not like I don't have more at home."

(Can you feel that?)
(Oh ***t)
Ooh ah ah ah ah!
Ooh ah ah ah ah!
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing ... in me
(Will you give in to me?)

She presented his own sword towards him facing the sky to show him that there wasn't any trace of blood on the hilt before she threw it listlessly high into the air over her shoulder, landing in the ground a few feet away. Her hand close, extending her index finger, shaking it back and forth. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk." she clicked her tongue as she did so, dropping her hand back to her side. "You still don't get it do you?" she cackled evilly, "After all this time, I thought you would've gotten it by now. If I really wanted wanted to control you, you wouldn't be talking now, you'd be kneeling in front of me like the dog you are." She smiled there as a great inflection entered her tone and the very pitch of her voice. It grew deeper in pitch, darker in tone, and more toxic than ever. "If you can't figure it out now, then I guess you are not as clever as I had hoped. Such a insolently head strong were-demon can't be of any use to me. You've got more bulk than brain."

Closing her fist so mercilessly tight that her claws dug into her own palm, astral energy sparked and flared ethereally from her fingertips as she drew the demonic smybol for mind control in front of her in Crystal's direction. [i]"Expeliomous!"
As it slowly faded, another, more powerful spell directed itself at him...

Lady Darkness left it at that, turning on her heel away from Crystal to show that she was done for the time being. She wanted to speak with this tall mortal nearby who was covered in innocent blood. Leaving Crystal to battle with her spell for the time being should give her enough time to make an interesting conversation with the pale warrior before he broke free. He broke the other one, so he could break this one, too. It'd just take him a hell of alot longer. As she walked, the sides of the black skirt swayed with her while her arms silently swung in the air, like everyone's did as they walked. A mencing smile of interest slithered upon her thin lips while she made her way to Godfrey.

He towered over her vastly, and she had to crane her neck back a bit to look at him. As she spoke, the voice of the demon smoothed back to her human tone. "Not often do I see a mere mortal covered with the blood of the innocent. A spar and I missed it! What a shame..." It was until she was close enough that she could distinguish the smell of the blood on him. The scent of many covered him-- a preistess, as she could tell by the lack of sun, and a few paladins' that were clad in armor. "Urg! You wreak of a PRIESTESS!!" she snarled, "And a light one at that. May the dogs have her bones. Preistesses... foolish women who blindly follow a 'god'. Pfft!"

Lady Darkness hated deities. They thought they were all high and mighty just because they were given immortality and a few abilities by the true immortals. Yet they pitied mortal's due to the fact that they only lived once. Pathatic beings, indeed. She worshipped a much HIGHER power... a Messiah who would never turn her back to her people unless she had a reason to. Her beloved Empress... a woman of flawless brilliance and intelligence. Thinking about her made her breifly remember the Palace back at home. I wonder how Sago's going, pulling all my shifts. She smiled as she imagined the heartless warrior standing in front of the gates of the shadow lands during night shift with another female Shadow Knight commonly called 'the pink assassin' for the color of her plush pink hair. Lady Darkness's skin crawled at the thought of her. Maira Itagawa was one seriously badass chick. She wasn't anything like her girlfriend, Shea, another shadow knight that was trained by Lillian Bloodmare-- the most INSANE woman LD had ever met! The Countess's method's for torment though where admirable.

Shaking her thoughts away, she glazed upwards once more at this pale warrior, waiting for his responce.

Godfrey - August 12, 2007 08:01 PM (GMT)
Godfrey scowled when Lady Darkness approached. Now what? He thought. He did not wish to speak with her, or even look upon her for that matter. He hated demons with a burning passion, one only rivaled by that of his hate for the Gods. He spat at her, then grunted and narrowed his eyes. "I shall not be brought down as easily as..." He looked to the other demon, and his scowl worsened. "That..." He growled in malcontent. "You demons are worse than angels... Your petty magic will not save you from my wrath should you decide to strike me. I will break you..." He threatened. He raised his chain dagger, then spun it on his palm and gripped the hilt again. "She will rot..." He said, speaking of the priestess. "Corrupt... And pathetic... She looked like a wench from a bordello... Not a priestess of the Light Goddess..." Godfrey held a much more intense hatred for corrupt religious leaders, as he was forced to serve under them and protect them during his days as a warrior of the Light.

He began drifting off to how much he hated the gods and their followers once more, then remembered the demoness standing in front of him. He spat at her feet, then popped his neck and rolled his massive shoulders. "What do you want?" He asked in a rude, uncaring tone. His voice was cold and harsh, more so by the minute. "Spit it out... Your demonic stench is starting to irritate me..." He spat. He snarled after a while of waiting, then turned around, to see the once cowering priestess crawling out of the alleyway he had stabbed her in. He hesitated going after her, only because the demoness was holding him up, then grunted in anger when the innkeeper of the town noticed her and helped her inside. He seethed, then turned back to the woman that was keeping him from his prey. "Had it not been for you... I could have made sure she was dead... Now I am going to have to deal with an entire inn..." He growled.

((Sorry it's so short, gotta go soon. Also, don't worry about doing anything to the priestess, I have some plans later on, might make her either an alt or just a nuisance that continually pops up for my character.))

Crystal - August 13, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
Pawing on the ground Crystal made a horrified yell because suddenly out of nowhere he began seeing flashes of his past memories, his mother death, his first time turning to a werewolf, his father face contorted in rage telling him to try harder on a holy spell, going on and on . Not being able to get any of this delusional images away from his mind he began shutting his mind putting barriers in his mind, causing him not to be able to move but he was keeping his sanity and he was able to listen to lady darkness until he found a way to get out of this spell. He was not able though through his protection to stop himself from growling and yelling in the mental pain she was inflicting on him. “Kemako demono” he heard himself yelling unknown even to himself why and how he was saying this, “You think you can torture me forever, I guarantee you though a slow and painful death to the both of you and to all you love and hate”

Lady Darkness - August 17, 2007 03:48 AM (GMT)
The more he spoke, the more she felt a sudden respect for him. ANY mortal who spoke to a DEMON the way he was talking to her now was eigher extreamly brave or just absolutely STUPID! This mortal wasn't a fool, as far as she could tell at the moment, and it made a BOLD smile slither upon her black lips, baring the tips of her fangs. What a fiesty little bastard! her thoughts chuckled in merriment, Ohh, having him would be excellent, even if he IS a petty human! She let his scorn slide, not listening to the hostility in his voice... save for ONE little sentence.

"You demons are worse than angels... Your petty magic will not save you from my wrath should you decide to strike me. I will break you..."

Her head snapped backward as a bezerker's laugh echoed out of her throat, tainted and contorted. MAGIC?! Was this guy SERIOUS?!? She laughed at that until he spoke again, asking her what she wanted. "What a brave human you are. I admire bravery, but don't let it turn into stupidity." she said simply as her smile vanished completely and her lips curled into a gut wrenching snarl that reflected the darkness of the deepest pits of hell. This bold smirkish snarl stirred the hearts of the wisest, wisping about her face like a grim cloud. "I didn't come here to fight. I came to talk. Your threats will do nothing but amuse the hell out of me. Being even COMPAIRED to an angel is on the highest levels of insult for a pure blood demon. My name is Lady Darkness and I am in search of allies, followers or what have you. You speak as if you hold a divine hatred for the god's." a smiled reappeared on her dark lips as she continued, "GOOD. What I have in mind challenges the deities themselves, and I promise revenge will be taken personally, warrior or blasemphy. I am NO angel... I am no savior... I am simply the demon who will PLUNDGE this world into the deepest, DARKEST depths of hell! If you seek divine revenge against the individuals' who call themselves 'gods', I welcome you to join in my cause."

She listened to Crystal screaming in sheer agony behind her from all the mental pain she was giving him with a simple level of basic astral. ASTRAL, being soul energy in it's purest state, was extreamly effective against all races regardless of their abilities or jobs and struck their heart, mind, and very SOUL directly at the same time. A woman crawled out of the alleyway covered in blood. Lady Darkness noticed how it bothered Godfrey so, and she figured that THIS was the "preistess" he'd stabbed earlier. A vicious snarl rose from her very core and lanced the air in the very PITCH of evil as she was picked up and carried into an inn nearby by another mortal. NOW she understood what he meant by 'she looked like a wench from a bordello'. If it was anything more she hated than the forces of light and all things 'good', it was women who flaunted themselves like the way that "preistess" was dressed. HA! Some god she worshipped!!

"So that's her, eh? Pfffffffft!!!" she hissed, spitting at the ground as she raised a boot to avoid his saliva. What a disrespectful gesture. If he wanted to join her, she'd have to teach him a thing or two about demons and what NOT to do to keep off their bad sides. But she was too angered by that 'womans' attair to be angery at him now. "What a mulletty little wench. That's no preistess... that's a pretender. Eigher that or these deities are more f***ed up then I thought. Surely YOU could handle an entire inn full of people for a warrior of your caliber... and thus it shouldn't be a problem. BUT if need be, to show you I'm not kidding when I say 'ALLY', on your word if you give it, I shall help you kill this... woman. Don't let ME hold you back, KILL her! It's your unfinnished buisness..."
