It was raining pretty hard once in Lomedor. Az, Felicia and Jaina were in the Swamp of Shadows, and had a certain incident which escalated into a fight. They came out alright, but it started raining pretty hard, getting them pretty wet. Az offered for the three of them to dry off in his room in Lomedor, and they accepted. The Swamp wasn't too far away, and it would be nice to dry off after a walk in the rain.

"Here we are." He said to the both of them as they came to the Inn. He walked in, passed through the pub, basically soaking wet and went upstairs to his room. He entered his room, and immediately took off his went shirt and grabbed a towel from his closet. He stopped for a second looking at the towel and grabbed two more for Felicia and Jaina.

He handed the towels to the both of them as they came in, and set to dry his chest off. He took out his new Demonic Blade and set it against the wall next to the door. It was taking him a while to get adjusted to his new weapon as it was big and he wasn't used to having to lug it around. Oh well, he loved that blade. He was the only one with one, so he was quite original.

He went and sat on the windowsill just to settle in a little. "Well, here we are, my cozy little room. Make yourselves comfortable and don't be shy." He said to them, wiping his face with his towel. His voice was a little muffled from the towel, but was still audible.

Felicia steped inside right after Azlateen and looked around. The smell of warmth came to her sensitive nostrils..she would have smile but was too annoyed by Ferentus words about her being immature child....Felicia cought a towel with ease and headed stright to the closet. She badly needed to have ashower since that idiot bathed her in mud.....So she grabed dry clothes and locked herself in a closet for one hour...thought it seemed to her as it was ages.....Felicia just drifted into her own thoughts as was showring and washing away the dirt and mud....oh how she wished to be able to wash away all bad emotions with this dirt....but she couldn't.....Felicia tryed not to cry but she couldn't....tears started to fall down itselvs running down her cheeks with the drops of water.

Soon she dryed herself off and dressed on....unfortuantly all she had was some kind of a dress....she didn't like dresses but had no choice now....Felicia slowly peered out to look if anyone sees or not.....Azlateen seemed to be busy with drying himself and Jaina was just stepping in...Felicia steped out from the closet silently closing the door....Her face now clean as the dirt was washed away and she seemed to appear more beautyful....her hair were still wet still wrapped with the towel.....her looked so as if she was crying.....she knew they will notice it but hoped still they wouldn't.....she'd have to explain herself probably....and she wouldn't know what to tell them...

THe room was big as her own chambers when she was still training with the mages and when she entered last she closed the door quetly as she didnt want anybody to hear her enter. Then she cought the towel that Az have threw. Then she said to him "Forgive me but i forgot to introduce myself i'm Jaina Proudmoore."
THen she made fewsteps inside the room and sat near the door and stared at the man then few moments later she spoke "I know that ot you i may sound ignorant and stupid but i see you are human but how can you summon such wings? In my land the humans whom had suck power were searvants of demonic powers and were killing everything in their way. But you are somehow different from them." In her vaice was node of curiosity besides that the way she always spoke like she was about to cry, That was just her voice but she was not going to cry. When Balck rose showedherself Jaina spoke to them "I will go down to the kitchen to buy some food." It was the least she could do for them because she felt guilty about what happened at the swamp.

"Whatever.." she said and slumped onto the bed. She went all silent who knows why and wasn't going to say a word unless will be spoken to. Felicia was a strange person and even was like that before all tragedy's.....but hey everyone liked her still no matter the oddness of her. Thought now everything seems to be different....everything she does seems to be hard to do and she always behaves and does all as if would want to prove something to herself or to someone....." Do you think that idiot was right, don't you Az..?" she muttered silently as she layed on the bed wrapping a pilow with her arms. Felicia didn't want to admit but she was tired as well....and was in need to talk but still was not sure if she can trust them fully......some fear was bothering her still...fear to be betreyed....fear to lose someone close.....or perhaps to be misunderstood?

Jaina was just closing the door when she heard Felicia speaking to Az and she could reply but she didnt want to interrupt them they seemed to know eachother well. Few minutes later she brought back two plates full of food for Az and Black rose and she put then on the small table. then she sat at her previous place near the door and 'drowned' herself in thoughts but her curiosity was stronger and so she spoke to both of them "I hate to dig into the persons past and stuff but as i see you two go way back. And i hate to interrupt you... i will go rent another room." She said then gave a sigh and used her staff to get off the ground. While she walked to the door she thought how her question about the winged man will go unanswered.

"Jaina?" she said silently and slowly glanced at her. Her black eyes seemed as if would let out a small tear that she's trying hold back." Please stay..." she whispered some still glancing at her direction. Felicia soundeddifferently than usualy...she sounded af if she would need Jaina badly...she was comfused and lost herse;lf about what's going on inside of her...The strange feeling of melting ice of her heart....and the breaking down wall...her all guards seemed to slowly lower down...." Here is enough place for us three.....and it'd be....safer to stay together..." she muttered some queitly hoping that Jaina will stay.

Jaina noticed the difference in her expression it was not from her voice but something else. THen she turned around noded at her and said "I guess you are right Rose." Then she returned to her place and was a bit happy to stay with the two new persons that she just met also she was happy because if Az wanted to share about hin this would deffenetly helped her in the endevours ahead of her. When she sat she could not holdherself and asked Black Rose "I was wondering if Black Rose is your real name." She was curious if she is willing to say it because of her cold reactions so far but her hope always die last. And she realy was hoping not to bother Felicia.

She listened for Jaina's question and went silent for a few long moments then sighed some." No.....I got that name two years ago.....I needed a nickname for some....reasons.." she said and hoped that she won't have to explain everything because if she would start about her past all emotions she held back would overwhelm her. " Az...you didn't answer our questions...." she muttered some not looking at him. Her blind eyes seemed to 'stare' off randomly blankly. " Go ahead...."

It explaned nothing and did not suficed Jainas curiosity but she noded and said "I...understand." Then she noticed that there is something whong with her sight yet it was different. She seemed very well coordinated if she was blind but sometimes she was unoriantaited. Jaina waanted to trouble Black Rose no more with her annoyng questions so she went silent and looked at Az and was hoping that he will atleast tell her what is going on with him.

Az got up listening to their conversation, and grabbed another shirt form his drawers. They went on before he could answer, so he put on his dry shirt, and pulled out some pants from his drawer. "Excuse me for a moment." He said and went into the bathroom as they talked. There he changed and got comfy dry once again. He came out and tossed his sopping pants and shirt on the windowsill.

Coming out, he noticed they stopped talking and urged him to answer their questions to him. He stopped in mid step coming out of the bathroom, and looked at the two with a questioning look. "Uh, answers? Sure." He sat back on the windowsill and noticed there was food on the table. "Thanks Jaina." He said to her with a smile about the food. He grabbed a couple slices of bread and took a few bites and started talking.

"Well, Jaina, even though I am human, I am also half demon. My mother was, er, is, a demoness. That's why I can sprout my own wings, because I also have a second demon form," He said as a matter of factly, proudly and with confidence, motioning with his bread as if to emphasize his point. "It's kind of handy sometimes, but there's really nothing great about it. I know you said your demon people were ruthless killers, but I'm nothing like that. Yes, demons do sound like that, but I'm also human, and that's what you have to look at in a halfling. We have feelings and a conscience."

Turning to Felicia, he said, "And the guy that attacked you wasn't much of an idiot. It was just a simple misunderstanding, and we all went away quietly. He had mistaken you as an old robber of his family, and it was just human nature for him to get revenge." He shrugged, taking another bite and swallowing it. He chuckled a little. "I don't know, but I found it to be perfect timing. It helped you with your training. You brought out Seyra, and didn't have to use her. You suppressed her basically.

He looked back to Jaina and continued, "And no, we don't go back that far, just a couple weeks. I basically signed on as her trainer, as she's learning how to fight." He said, not mentioning the fact that he was helping suppress her demon. Though he mentioned it not a few seconds ago, learning to fight usually blocks all thoughts otherwise.

(ooc: it may be hard for me because my job is at the pc this mean 12 hours in the day on the comp but i will try to do my best)

Jaina listen to the explanation that he gave scrached her head while thinking it thourgh and said "Forgive me if i offended you." she said but she senced that she didnt offend him. Then after few more seconds she spoke again and looked at felicia but still talked to Az "I guess that Seyra is er...well when i met Black Rose she said if her eyes turn yellow to run... i guess you ment that this Seyra character is something like a secnd personality or it is more like she is possessedby it." She gave a sigh rubed her face with her hands and spoke again "If she is possessed there maybe is a cure... in my home we banished such demon from the persons who were dominateed by demons." Jaina would never offer such a thing if it was not going to work but she didnt know if Black Rose will agree to such a thing. Then she looked back at Az ans spoke "You teach her how to fight? What i saw in the swamp she was pretty good fighting." Jaina sensed that they both are hiding something but she did not mention what she sensed.

She blinked as Jaina mentioned possession and execution and looked away. " This....demon saved my life two years ago.." she muttered." If not she i wouldn't be here talking with you.." she scowled softly and sighed some. Felicia stood up and went to the coridor leaning against a wall nearly bursted in tears as remembered that day and who was guilty for it. It was too painful thing to her to talk about.

Jaina responded as she thought it is right in the situation. "I do not judge her nor her actions. But just immagine what your life will be without her." she said When Felicia was near the coridor. She wanted to help but in the same time she didnt want this 'help' to be on force. And no matter what Jaina would nefer force such dessision on Felicia.

He shrugged at her apology at offending him. Az wasn't offended, because he wasn't like what she might have though a demon was like. "Don't worry about it, I wasn't offended by it." He reassured. He listened to Jaina talk about what Felicia would be like without her demon. Az couldnt' imagine himself without his demon side. He absolutely loved his demon side, as it too helped him out in times of need. He a whole other form for that side too.

"Jaina, you don't know what it's like to have a demon side though." He said once Felicia left. He would leave her to her space, and see if she was alright in a while. "Sure a demon would terrorize you for a good portion of your life, but once you have enough strength to control it," He paused and chuckled. "You can do wonders. Without mine, I don't know what I'd be like. I probably wouldn't be a fighter if it wasn't for my demon. So let's not try and think differently without a demon side.." He smiled a little at her, and sat at the windowsill still, eating his bread and finishing it off.

Jaina listened to his explenation and said "Maybe there is a way for me to find out waht it is. When i was training in the accademy one of my masters taught me an abbiliti which allowed me to enter your mind and in the same time you to enter my. When in this state we both share thoughts feelings and momories if one of us want. But i dared not use it yet." She wanted to understand how dose possesed one feel and how is the demon inside the victim feel but she would not force such a dessision upon anyone.

Felicia sighed some standing up and went to the bar that was nearby the inn. She had to drink at least one glass of wine.....Felicia felt like drinking for it didn't feel very good as emotions are overwhelming even if she trys to hold them back but obviously fails. She sat the bar and ordered a glass of red wine as she was doing often before...She loved red wine once and was drinking one glass of it per day for it was not only tasty but also was healthy.....The barman placed a glass infront of her and left to other costomer. Felicia took one sip of the wine as she started to remember everything...it was so clear as if had happened yesterday.....all the day she was happy with her father...her boyfriend..then the betreyal...the tragical event during which she nearly died...Felicia could swear she was looking in the eyes of death and then Seyra came and saved her.....then two years of hard recovery and trainings in the mountains with the only one person she trusted the most.....the murder of a evil woman who suggested him to kill her....and so every other...views in her mind ran like before dieing....a small tear ran down her cheek remembering all it at once and she emptyed her glass of wine and asked for more...

He looked to Jaina as she mentioned her ability to enter one's mind. "Yeah, let's not try that. Something might go wrong." He said with a chuckle. He had an odd feeling that Felicia wasn't out in the hall anymore, so he got up to check. He took a peek out the door, and didn't see her at all. "Hm. Maybe she went down to the bar." He said to himself. He went back into the room and looked to Jaina again.

"She's not out here. She's probably down in the pub. Let's go see." He said motioning to Jaina to follow. He left and went down to the pub. It wasn't too crowded like it usually was, but it was still fit for a bar fight to Az. Though now probably wasn't the time to start a fight, but it sounded like fun to Az.

He then found Felicia at the bar, drinking a nice glass of red wine. He walked over to her and sat to her left, ordering a simple glass of water. He didn't say anything until the water got there and took a quick swig of it. "So. Black Rose. Is that some sort of... metaphor?" He asked sarcastically, looking out of the corner of his eye, holding the glass just below his lips. A small grin played on his lips, waiting to see her answer.

Jaina was tired from the walk but a drink would do wonders if it was good so she used her staff to help her support her body while getting up. When she got down to the pub Az was already sitting at the bar talking to Felicia. Then she took the only one left seat at the bar and ordered some ale which she saw when she bought the food. Whil she drinked she thought of what Azlateen told her about the spell with the mind reading but she knew better that nothing could go wrong but she never have don this with a some one possesed so she thought it this maybe is for the best. Then she looked at Azlateen and Black rose ad ordered drinks for them it was not her personality to buy stuff for the peoples but with thease two there was something different and perhaps it was good thing but yet she didnt knew.

She heared Az;ateen's steps and didn't say a word for a few short moments then closed her black eyes and looked aside unnoticeable wiping her little tear. " It's...more than a metaphor..." she said reopening her eyes not looking at him. " When two years Seyra possessed my body.....i alrecieved a huge highly deteiled tattoo on my back....." she said....."Since then it became my nickname.....that matched my behavior..." she said. In her voice was a slight hint of sadness now. " I have never told my true name nor showed my face to anyone anymore...." she said.

Jaina was able to sense the sadness ih the Black Roses voice and listened to her conversation with Azlateen but she didnt want to say nothing ad interupt them. The sadnes in the voice of Felicia gave a small hope to Jaina that maybe she will tell her name. She felt sick sence of satisfaction when she thinked that finaly she will understand her name. Jaina knew that it was wrong to feel this way and she didnt asked for it but could not help herself. But still she wondered what happened in her past that she was so distansed from the peoples.

She blinked some as Jaina bought them drink and glanced at her staring with her black eyes. Seyra as silent as the grave this toime - even she understood that Felicia needs less her sarcastict comments. A slight sigh escaped her lips and she closed her black eyes looking away to wipe another unshown tear that was going to run down her cheek. Felicia tryed her hardest to fight back emotions and tears for few reasons. She thought that if someone will see her sad or even crying they will think her being weak...and she needed it less especialy during her hard times....

Felicias feelings were getting stronger and finaly she spoke knowing that this is the last thing what Black rose will want to hear "Back in my home i was always the strongest one never did i show any feelings. It was hard especialy sometimes and when i could not hold back the emotions i was ashamed of my self. Untill a friend of mine showed me that there is nothing to be ashame of. No one of my family never cared for me as he did in that moment when she showed me. Besides imagine that you are fighting someone and he look like some one of your past some one whom you held dear to you your feelings will gett you off balance and maybe he will win. As i wished to say it is good from a time to time to let go of them and after that you will feel so much better. And know that emotions or feelings are not sign of weakness but of strenght." then she drank from her ale once more awaiting to hear the commet of Felicia.

Az nodded at Felicia's description of her tattoo. It made sense, and it worked nicely. Mysterious, yet obvious, if one knew what the name came from. Who would've thought it came from a tattoo? Az never even had the foggiest. Az was about to respond when Jain brought them drinks. Ale. Alcohol. Not Az's fancy. He pushed it aside and looked to Jaina. "Thanks a lot Jaina, but I don't drink alcohol." He held up glass in presentation. "I'm with water. Thanks though!" He flashed her a smile and looked back to Felicia. Then Jaina started talking, breaking a silence between them all.

He agreed with her on the comment of showing emotion once in a while. There was nothing to be ashamed of when it came to a bad or worse experience and the emotions attached with it. If you got out of the horrible event, then you have every right to be proud of being there. It could be a good lie to swap from time to time. Of course, the truth could only sound like a lie when it was infact the truth. So why not?

Though Az believed that sometimes it was best not to show emotion, especially for those with big egos like himself. He looked to Jaina and responded. "Well, sure there's nothing to be ashamed of, but sometimes it's best to show it. It shows weakness sometimes when you don't want to show weakness. And sometimes it hurts the ego of people who have big egos." He chuckled and shrugged. "Like me I suppose." He looked to Felicia, expecting to hear her thoughts on the whole thing on emotion.

" You are write....." she whispered some and grabed her refilled glass of wine and drank it to the full placing it down ontop of the bar. " Emotions are only weakness.....nothing more....." she muttered and with those words she just proved to herself that is weak to her opinion because she hardly now can fight back her emotions and even if Felicia is growing attached to them both she doesn't wants them to see her sad or crying. She doesn't...but now to leave just like that wouldn't be very politly....so what to do? To feel like an idiot if will start to cry? No she doesn't wants to. Felicia never liked to cry.....and rarely did.....optimism was taking over everytime causing thoughts that everything will be alright. But how about now? This time her optimism is gone to somewhere....she had never feel so lost and fragile before and now tryes to cover it somehow.....for the more she feels fregile.....the more she feels and perhaps is unsafe......

"Sometimes weaknes they are... but other times great strenght they give you." She said and then drank from the ale. "Do you want to be alone all your life? Now you may think that you are not going to meet someone but one day you will and when you show no emotion you will lose him.... As i did. Betted do not fight them embrace them." After that she called the bartender again and ordered a glass of water and said to take the ale away.

Az never had many emotions to fight as he grew up. Sure, there were bullies at school, no mom around to help out, but he got through those things as he had enough to make up for it. He was quite content with his life, and didn't have many emotions attached to much. Sure there was a lot of anger and such, but it was all short lived and was over with quickly after the fight. He had been trained too many years to worry about emotions being his weakness, but sometimes it slipped through, and often times it helped him out. But that was rare, as he was focused many a fight.

He had to help Felicia control her emotions and harness them. "Yes, emotions can be a weakness, but as Jaina said, they can be your greatest strength. A lot of fighters don't use emotion, as they know that it can and will get in their way. But from what little I can predict of your past, that can't get in your way. If you've had such a bad past, you gotta harness that into strength." Az said. He put a hand on her back to comfort her. "I know you can Felicia. Your greatest enemy is yourself, remember that. If you can't get past yourself, everyone is just going to walk all over you." He looked into her eyes with a deep look, hoping she would start thinking differently. "And if you have to let whatever is in out, now is the time to do it. The sooner it happens, the better you're going to function. We'll even leave you along until you're done if you have to ok?"

Jaina agreed with Az and said "Trapped in yourself, break out instead beat that machine that works in your head and open your mind. For this is the only way to lay your past to rest and trouble you no more." Jaina mentoner her past because no one would act like Felician if they were not hurt in their past. "Once i was ... hurt in my life but instead closing my slef to the world i try to help other peoples an i know that the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions but i cannot stop." Then Jaina shuted up because she thought that Felicia would not like to hear her gibbering no longer.

"I am not traped in myself and at all don't tell me what to do and what not..." she muttered some looking aside." It's my life....so i can do what i want..." she said balling a fist with a hand that held her glass of wine. The glass was crushed by a force and pierced her skin cutting deeply. Thought Felicia didn't flinch at all.She just stared off at the wound as let the glass fall slipping and sliding from her palm. It seemed as if she would argue more with herself trying to trick herself that she doesn't needs any emotions.. But she does...she needs to let them out even thought it is so hard. Especialy when there are strangers around them....

"i'm not..." Jaina mannaged to say befor Black Rose shattered the glass. Then she looked at Felicias hand and muttered "Belan Shi Karkun." and a almost invisible vapour emerged from Jaina's hand and got to Black Rose hand spinned two three times and the glass peaces falttered on the bar then the cuts regenerated. Jaina didnt asked Felica for premission to heal her becasue she suspected that the answer will be negative. "I'm not telling you what to do or what not to do. I dont wish to act like your mother i'm just sayng waht i think is for the best. But it is up to you to hear me or not." Then again called the bartender and ordered the glass of the same wine Black Rose was drinking. As Jaina was ordering she payed the bill for the drinks. Then she took the last drop of water from her glass and spoke for last time "Eventualy you will have to face them. If you ask me it better be sooner than later."

"I don't think you understand anything.." she muttered watching as vapour healed her wound on her palm. There was left only blood that remained on her hand. She lifted her hand to her lips and licked the blood off it closing her black eyes. Felicia could sence as tears were forming in her eyes but didn't want them run down her cheeks. If she will burst in tears comsumed by emotions, Felicia will not survive to her opinions....she will grow weaker.....and the weaker she will be the harder will be to control her darker side. But everything is just killing her deep inside....half of her heart is comsumed by darkness......half of it - by sadness and grief for some reasons and she doesn't knows how to live.

"i understand more than you can immagine! Once i was much like you i didnt trust any one afraid of emotions because i was hurt in my past. And for that i payed dearly i lost almost all of my allies because i didnt have friends. Until i was nearly killed in battle then one of those who i have pushed aside have resqued me, healed me and for all that i have pushed him away once more. Later when i heard word for his demise i understood how dear he was to me. But i wish to argue with you no more! I just want to say 'Do not push away every one. Even your enemyes can be your friends." After that Jaina stared at one of the kegs behinde the bar re-winding the important events in her life up untill now.

She listened to her words and shook her head slightly with a sigh. " Emotions are only for the weakest....." she muttered faintly and glanced at the window. It was still raining and so tempting to walk out and let the rain fall upon her. Perhaps it would wash away her inner pain and sorrow that she burried long ago..."Enemies can not be friends....everyone are potencial betreyers.....everyone....." she said and got up walking out after emptying her glass of wine. "You have no idea what i expierenced so don't tell me that you undrestand......no understands......no one!" she yelled and ran out off the tavern into the rain.

"No not every one is potential betrayer. There are some who would die before they betray someone." Jaina said to felicia as she was walking to the door. When black rose shouted and ran out of the pub Jaina stood up and said to Az "Thank you for the hospitality and the generosity but i think i should be going because when she return i think that seeing me will anger her even more." Then she climbded the stairs entered the room took her cloack and staff then went down the staris. After that she waved to Az and said "Fearwell i hope we meet again." THen she headed toward the door and when she reached it Jaina put the hood of her cloak and stepped through the door. When she was out she was Felica and said to her "Last words from me before i leave! When i met you in the swamp for the first time i felt safe. I do not know you but I know that I would lay down my life for you if only you asked. Farewell i hope we meet in future." Then she waved and swoly started to walk away.

She stoped in her tracks hearing Jaina saying her last words. She stared at her not believing that somehow those words reached her finaly. She felt as if shot with an arrow or a bullet. " Jaina..." she whispered some faintly and fell onto her knees leaning upon ground with her palms. She grasped some dirt out in anger at herself...at Seiyra...."What have i done..." she whispered to herself. She senced as the tears began to run down her cheeks.....secound time she's crying in whole two years......the rain drops washing away her tears....."I am a demon......even....Seiyra is better than i am..." she whispered still blaming herself....



(Azlateen is gone, Jaina....)

Jaina stopped when she heard her name and turned around to see Black rose on her knees though there were better sences than her hearing she heard the wispering. Then she returned to her and kneeled down saing "No! You are not a demon and no Seiyra is not better than you! Why do you think you are worse than Seiyra? Why do you think you are demon? From what i saw this far i think that you are confused lost and buried in yourself. Once you break the walls you shall no longer feel that you are worse than demon you will aslso no longer ask yourself what have you done to deserve this." Then she sat at the ground and said "The first step is always the hardest."

"Anger turned me into demon...." she muttered faintly. " Do you know what is really a demon......not the one who kills or tortures physicaly......but the who pushes away everyone....who ackts meany.....anger...that's what makes demons....i am one of them.....no better than they are..." she whispered...." i deserved for everything that happened to me, Jaina..." she said and looked away. She frowns slightly feeling a slight headache and feels slightly dizzy but tryes to ignore it.

"I can tell you that you are not a demon! Anger do many things with peoples but this far i have not saw any anger withing in you nor your actions. And you are better than them and i shall continiue to think so even if you do things that are worse then theirs. Do not worry no one is past redemption! No matter what they have done. I do not know what happened to you but i can place my head that you did nothing on purpose to deserve it!"

She shook her head slightly and sighed some. " But i did.....i really did.." she said with a sigh. "You have no any clue, Jaina...." she said slightly fainting. It seemed as if she had a fever first time in her last two years. "Perhaps.....god is punishing me....." she whispered. Her black eyes growing softer slightly.....especial when sad....she remembered when she bursted in tears after training and how she wraped her arms around him...she remembered how he tryed to comfort her. Felicia felt so safe with him....he was the first person she trusted in after two years....now came Jaina's turn...those two persons had something inside that allowed them to get to her somehow.....After these memories Felicia felt completly sad and if would be in a need of a tight hug again......

"True that is. I do not know what you have done but it canno be worse that whai i have done! And no god can punish a girl for her past no matter what you have done!
