Nissa decided when she woke up that she was going to take a day off form practicing her natural magic and archery, she got dressed in her beach cloths, and took Selene out of the stable and got on, she trotted through the woods towards the white sanded beach to relax and go swimming. Not knowing if there were any people on the beach at this time, seeing as it was only dawn, she decided to take a more private secluded area that lead tot he main beach if she so chose to go there.
Once on the small secluded beach she took off the top layer of clothing off which left her in a light purple top and a short light weighted skirt. She treaded into the water and sat down on the sand on the very edge of the gentle waves. As she sat there she noticed the waves had gotten a little bit bigger, she smiled and walked deeper into the water and lie down and let the gentle waves rock her into serenity.
About 30 min later when she wanted to get out and eat lunch she noticed the water had carried her out into the main part of the beach where even at this time there where quiet a few people sitting and swimming in the sea, she quickly went under hoping no one had spotted her and turned around to go back but decided to stay in the water and enjoy it. She floated on her back once more and just let the water carry her were it may.
The water was cool and refreshing on the tender flesh of his wounds. It had been a long time since Vaul had experienced the joys of the open road but it was beginning to take its toll upon his body. For months he had confined himself within the dark, book-covered shelves of the Shrine of Stars; hiding from the truth that he had failed his Goddess, that he had been too weak to prevail. But the final battle was close at hand and Vaul was determined to prove that he was not a failure.
He had been on the road for many weeks now and the sight of the glorious Eastern Coast beaches had been too good of an opportunity to pass up. Removing his armour, clothing and weapons. Vaul had rushed into the sea to cleanse himself of the dirt and grime that had accumulated over the previous days.
Now it was merely for the pleasure of swimming that he had remained in the water. Though never a fan of sea travel, Vaul had always loved to swim in the lakes of his homeland and for a few minutes, he was free of his burdens.
The area had been all but deserted at dawn when he had first arrived, but now a few local fishers were beginning their days work further up the beach and, due to his lack of weaponry, and more importantly, clothing. Vaul set off swiming back to the shore.
It was at this point that he spotted a mysterious movement in the corner of his eye. Turning quickly to see where it was from, Vaul could see nothing but the vast open waters. It took a couple of minutes of tredding water before the answer was finally revealed to him.
From below the waves, a beautiful maiden emerged, sweeping her hair back to remove the water from her eyes. Vaul stood there tredding water silently, entranced as he watched the woman swim just a couple of hunderd yards from where he currently resided.
As Nissa wiped the water form her eyes she looked towards shore again to see just how many people were accumulating on the beach, she noticed about 10 more people had showed up till she last check, she decided to go back to where she submerged and went under, she swam until her lungs needed more air, she swam on the surface from there and got to the entrance but looked back, she noticed a man treading water, and staring at her, she scowled not knowing what the man wanted.
She then decided just to go back where her cloths were and Selene was and relax a little, swimming had tired her out so, a newly turned vampire and knowing not who did it, and knowing totally nothing about a vampires nature she was dizzy and felt depression settle over her once again since she had been changed only 4 nights ago, she felt the need to cry but held them back not wanting to be weak, but tears leaked out anyways, how could she go from being an elf to a vampire, her life was ruined.
Curling up into a ball as her stomach twisted with hunger, she had not fed since her turn and was fighting the temptation. she looked up into the sky and the sight that once filled her with joy only burned her eyes now, she closed them again silently sobbing form lose and fatigue.
