Title: Encountering Undeads
Description: Open to everyone!
Elandria - August 7, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
From the port of the ocean Elandria headed strightto to the grasslands and it just happened she had to cross the land of the dead. But it didn't scare her off. The undeas knows her already as they do knows her goddess Hecate...She wore a dark hooded cloack and only her eyes part of her light brown hair could be seen from under her hood. She was holding her staff tightly but not too much. Stepping in she was calm for Elandria knew - nothing bad will happen....The undeads backed away from her..they senced holy aura that had her amulet and didn't dare to mess with the priestess of goddess of life and death....She heared their cryes....howls......undeads were unhappy...for one reason or another..Elandria could only feel pitty for them.....nothing more..nothing less...she knew that the spirits left to roam the realm between hell and heaven makes them to suffer because all sould must to appear anywhere but a realm of earth and roam it looking for a place to fit in and scare off the people that encounters them...
Aaron Butler - August 7, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
Aaron stood a good distance away watching the beasts...he couldn't do anything right now other then sit in the shadows waiting and watching, He could run down there and give the person a hand but he rather not mess with the balance of good and evil. Those things down there..have hostile intentions.. he glared at the undead, souless beings left within here for no such purpose, something was bothering him as he stood there arms crossed watching them back away from another person. He stared at the person in the distance. The person looked human from his view, which is why he wanted to change to his true form to get an eagle's view, then again it would most likely scare every living thing around his location. A huge dragon appearing out of no where was really uncommon and he rather keep it that way.
Sadly he knew he wasn't the only Dragon around this area. From what he heard while traveling there is a group of Dragons that live within the ocean. He hasn't traveled by boat yet and yet doesn't really need to. Sitting down a few minutes later Aaron gave a small whistle to the seagulls above him, then he turned his attention back to the undead and the person standing near them.
Elandria - August 7, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
The spirits had whispered to her as another pressence appeared hiding in the shadows. She glanced around and then at the sky. The night sky was clear and stary thought the mist did cover land of the dead. Her tripple moon tattoo started to glow silverish due to a full moon in the skies. Her tattoo seemed to be earthreal.....it appeared on her foraheared since the day she decided to serve the goddess. Undeads seemed to back away in fear as they saw the tattoo glowing. They knew that the tripple moon is a symbol of a tripple goddess of birth, life and death. Hecate was one of most powerful goddess in Greece, she equaled Zeus and took many sphares. Hecate alwas the goddess of of undeads, ghosts and crossroads....those perhaps were that syhe left instead taking them to the land of Hades or Heaven...
Elandria felt as a gust of wind picked up and remopved a hood of her cloack revealing angelic face, her beauty seemed to shine like a sun in this darkness, her beauty was to behold for mortal and immortal. Her beautyful warm eyes looks around and notices a person that she senced beeing here before and waves to the person then approaches him." Hello, good sir. May you tell me why are you watching me, huh?" she asked. Her voice soft and warm and yet firm. Her nearly perfect body couldn't be seemn from under the cloack. Her enchanting eyes watching the man while waiting for a response.

Startled by not paying much attention to anything anymore he stumbled backwards laying a hand on his sword. He let out a small sigh as he calmed down. "Actually, I wasn't watching you, I was watching everything.." He stood up no expression on his face, he just gave her a cold stare before speaking again. "Now that I answered your question. What are you doing out here this late at night with the undead, are you some type of Necromancer, or worst your a Dragon slayer!?" He asked with a voice as cold as his stare. He cleared his head and started to think of a way to win a fight if one ever broke out, he did what every wrym would do..studied the hostile, or so he thought was a hostile. His Two handed sword was laying a few feet away from him..his only chance to win such a battle would to change..but he didn't want to risk such an event here and now.
He wasn't prepared for any type of fight but wanted to stay ready for a fight. Which he was hoping there wouldn't be one. Then again, she did look harmless (to him atleast) and was a Human, then again humans are strange creatures.
Studying her he started to feel slightly safe, his senses told him that she was harmless now but anyone could appear just as harmless so he stayed wiry and alert.
Elandria - August 7, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
She blinked at him and stared comfused at his comments about her being a necromancer or dragonslayer. That would be low...Elandria couldn't hurt even a fly if theres no any big need. " I am no necromancer nor dragonslayer, good sir...do i look like those?" she said still with soft voice." I am just traveling looking for someone....I am new to this realm....and it just happened i had to cross this land of the dead.." she and sighed some closing her eyes still holding her staff. " My name is Elandria DeRose.....and who might you be, sir?"
Aaron Butler - August 7, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
I'm not dropping my guard.. he thought before answering, "I'm just a shadow in the wind, no one important, a Vagabond if you will." He normally didn't tell anyone his name on a first to know basis. "The names Aaron Butler, just a wandering cleric of a neutral alliance, and no I'm not human, nor will I tell you what my kin is." He flinched, he used the word kin..by accident hopefully she wouldn't know what he ment, and if she did oh well.
"I see that your from a different realm, much by your accent, If your heading to the city you should wait for day light. Orcs and Undead lay between here and the city. You'll see orcs during the day but it'll only be a small scouting party, due to the risk of Dragons also."
Elandria - August 7, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
"Pleasure to meet you, mister Aaron" she said fleshing a warm smile." Do ot worry - undeads doesn't dares to touch a servant of their goddess.." she cooed softly." And i am sure i will be alright." she said and looked around." Indeed i am heading to the city and will be in a big need of a room for a night or two...few past days i was just sleepless...sort of...." she mused and took a seat gazing at the moon. " I just hope my goddess won't leave me this night..."
Aaron Butler - August 7, 2007 09:14 PM (GMT)
"Just call me Aaron..nothing more nothing less." He didn't sit down he just walked away from where he was standing to grab his Two-Hand sword which he carried to where he was standing before. "Tell me not to worry...undeads are undeads only reason they are over there and not here is because I'm here, or at least I believe it thats why anyways. What goddess do you serve?" He looked out towards the undeads only to see torches in the distance. Oh yay a convoy of Merchant's..heading away from the city. He sighed and decided to sit down before he lost his balance.
Elandria - August 8, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)
"I serve the tripple goddess of birth, life and death....thought she takes much more than these three things" she said and glanced at him at as he took a seat. She settled her staff onto her knees and glanced at the sky." Hecate the maid, Hecate the mother and Hecate the Throne" she cooed softly. Elandria seemed to be in greatest respect of this goddess and could tell much more than anyknow knows about her. She is a faithful fallower of Hecate and is happy with it and with life that has. " Seems we'll have some guests" She said as noticed the torches as well. " Would you be so kind and lead me to the town, please?" she asked politly. " To travel all by myself gets lonely besides i am new in here and don't know this place as much as i would like to."
Aaron Butler - August 8, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
He sighed "I wasn't really heading towards the city, nor away from it but heading past it. Its a good three days walk and during the day its still as dangerous at night just without the Orcs and undead. Really not sure but when I was in the city people where talking about a black dragon, more or less a Shadow Dragon, was eating cattle from the cattle fields near by. Shadow Dragons have no breathe weapons..." he pauses to catch his breath and gives out a sigh "sadly...but they can hide in the Shadows very remarkable creatures if you ask me, and as to your question, yes I'll take you to the city. But it'll have to be sometime tomorrow not right now though." He looked out towards the ocean and yawned "also, traveling by yourself is fun, for me at least because I only have to feed myself and no one else, cause I have an appetite of a Dragon." He laughed lightly then suddenly stopped and gave an unsure look at the sky.
Elandria - August 8, 2007 04:16 PM (GMT)
" Dragons are wonderful but dangerous creatures if you ask me." she noted with a smile and noded some to Aaron. " Alright...tomorrow..so it be..i guess i can wait a little bit more" she said. "Aren't they beautyful?" she asked as he glanced at the sky. She was talking about the stars..they were so bright tonight and so many....perhaps it is a good sign? She hopes so. She needs less that anything would happen.....
(sorry that my post this time so short*sigh*)
Aaron Butler - August 8, 2007 04:44 PM (GMT)
"Not really..but still get some rest." He sighed to himself and started thinking Something is about to happen I can feel it... "Tomorrow morning when you wake up we will travel taking only a few breaks for something to eat, and will only stop a night to rest up for the next day. Oh and break-feast tomorrow will be fish..." He laughed and moved his sword out of his way to lay back fixing his glance onto the moon, another realm with a war against Good and evil wages there, luckily it hasn't split over to this realm yet.
(Bah thats fine..)
Elandria - August 8, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
She noded to his words and leaned against a random nearby tree trying to relax. It would have been successful but since she saw his blade she felt chills running through her body. Elandria has never liked the weapons and probably wond ever do. " Fish, hmm?...I do like fish" she said with a smile and closed her eyes for a rest trying to drift into a sleep but hardly could. She had a bad sence telling her it's going to happen soon and this won't be a good thing....
P'Jeil Voési - August 8, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
(it did say it was open)
It was a warm night, the updrafts were brutal and the stars were bright. P'jeil flew down towards the ground, fatigue echoing in his heavy wings and limp tail. It was unfortunate that the one place he had to set down was Dori'ba but that was nothing. He set down with a large thump crushing undead and tombstones alike. There was a group of merchants in the distance, hopefully they would not come towards here, but he was toying with the idea of visiting them and seeing what they would do. Humans were odd creatures and he had little experience with them.
The undead were edging toward him, he shot a claw out and obliterated one. The others saw and kept their distance. P'jeil yawned a large yellow muzzle and looked around sleepily. Gods, I'm falling asleep. Should never have left that cave.
He finally noticed two humans (or what they appear to be) as soon as he had laid down and paused. Suprised he just sat there staring wondering what they would do.
Keros - August 13, 2007 10:35 PM (GMT)
Keros carefully stepped out from behind a tombstone, holding a rock shining with a dim white light. "People. Civilisation. Thought it didn't exist here. Well, evening." the strange looking man muttered. Standing crooked and bent beneath a cloak, he looked the picture of a frail, battered man with a frail, battered mind. That all changed when a creature that could only be described as a hybrid dragon - human leapt out from behind him. Keros' back straightened, his eyes flashed silver and his hand found his mace and smashed it into the creature's midsection. The hybrid collapsed to the ground, and Keros' mace hit into its skull with a sickening crunch.
"He's been following me for three days. Anyway, like I was saying...evening."
