Sea Sarah's tavern was a beaken of light in the middle of the sea that only pirates themselves knew about, the tavern was an ornate building that looked as if the sea could claim it at any time. Lanterns hung at every free place, booths with curtains for privacy lay in the middle of the building, and plain wooden tables lay at the bottom. And intoxicating music filled the air.

It was the top where the VIP pirates could go, and that is where Carlie and her crew walked, they walked exitedly wanting to have their share of rum and to see the seductive Sea Sarah and Carlie's best friend scince childhood. When they got to the top and saw their table every one took their seats. Though carlie politly greated all the other pirate captins. The music was the loudest at the top of the building.

Crazy little woman in a one man show

Carlie greeted a captin in all orientle clothing, his long black hair pulled back in braids fell past his shoulders as he smiled and bowed deeply. Carlie did the same and moved on.

Carlie greeted a rather feisty pirate with dreadlocks and a snake in his hair, he kissed her hand then tried to draw her in for more, but she put a finger up to his lips, smiled and sat down at her own table not greeting the rest that she didnt know as well. She sat down and rubbed her temples, so much had happened it was unbeleiveable. She couldnt help but wonder where he was now, did he get her message? Will he be here? She didnt know. Her stomach dropped when she looked arround the crowd and didnt see him, she didnt like being in the dark.

Just then a girl with several pirate flags sewn together to make a dress came out regaly, her short black hair bobbing as she walked. Carlie turned and saw her life time friend, Sarah. Carlie jumped up and hugged her, both the woman smiled at each other ear to ear. "I havent seen you in ages." Carlie exclaimed.
"As have I you, oh I still cant belive your a pirate, I remember you were once a lady." Sarah said smirking.
Carlie chuckled. "You know what changed me." Carlie again twidled with the necklace of a victorian lady's profile that hung arround her neck, sarah pulled one out that was the same but with a different face. "Oh I know."
Carlies mind wandered back to the deamon. She had infact left him on the ship, and she didnt quite know if that were the right thing to do.

Few days back since the raid with that vampire captain Kenyari was instructed to go to some Sarah tavern place. Kenyari had never heard of a place but the people who were transporting him there seemed to know how to get there perfectly. The captain of the ship Ken was on had befriended kenyari rather quickly. Kenyari was able to work a deal since they were headed towards the tavern to let him on and if they got attacked kenyari and Uzziah would quickly wipe away the ones who attacked if it came down to that.

They arrived at the tavern safely in a matter of 3 days and it looked as if the vampire captain had already been there. No telling how long though. The people on the ship all jumped off ad kenyari and the captain walked off the ship and walked into the lively tavern. Kenyari gave the captain a sack of gold and shook his hand as they went their separate ways.

Kenyari walked up to someone who seemed to work here. "Where is the owner of that ship out there" he asked quietly as she pointed in the direction. Kenyari quickly took off in that direction until he was stopped by a big husky guy with large broad shoulders and 1 eye. The sword he had was massive and the man seemed determined to try to kill Kenyari.

"Give me all your gold or die here right now" the big man called out as he looked down at kenyari. Kenyari was easily angered and stared the man in his one eye. Kenyari never backed down from a fight and this man looked too drunk to be able to do any real damage to him.

The man wasted no time and quickly swing his heavy sword at kenyari. The half demon rolled backwards avoiding the huge sword as he unsheathed his sword and charged at the huge guy. Kenyari quickly jumped into the air and turned his body dodging another brutal sword strike attempt by the man. Kenyari quickly brought his sword down in the mans shoulder and the fact kenyari was falling, it added more to the power of his strike and his sword cut through the mans arm cutting it completely off.

Kenyari smirked as the man started screaming loudly and flailing about. Kenyari held his sword close to the mans throat as he looked at him in his eye. "If you ever decide to attack me again you loose your other arm then your life" he said cutting his sword into the big mans neck. Maybe this small commotion would cause the woman who's name he didn't even know to come out. Maybe maybe not.

Sarah and Carlie looked at each other as they heard the commotion at the bottom of the building. "Something must have happened!" Sarah creid running down the steps, her pirate dress draging down the stairs. "SARAH!" Carlie didnt particularly care what was going on at the moment, but she followed her freind to see what the hurry was, her red dress flowed gracefully as she decended what felt like a million steps.

Carlie looked at the scene, a cyclopes was sitting on the floor whining about how someone had cut him through his arm. Carlie rolled her eyes, it was afterall nothing to worry about. Carlie gave a smile to her freind who was tending after the cyclopse and Carlie turned to leave.

Carlie was about halfway up the tall building when she stopped to take a breather, she leaned over the rather rickity railing and looked at the moon frosted sea. Her mind flashed again to the battle that had taken place only three days ago. But her thoughts were inturupted by the feeling of someone elses flesh on her skin.

Kenyari had noticed two figures walk down the stairs. One seemed to tend to the cyclops and the other seemed to be rather rushing back up the stairs but the one going upstairs was quickly recognized. It was the vampire lady from the old ship who had told him to meet him here. Kenyari was nearly across the room when he noticed and she would be back upstairs in a quick second if he didn't do something fast. "teleport" kenyari quickly said as he teleported directly behind her.

Kenyari looked reached his hand out and grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. "Miss me?" he said in a playful tone as he turned and did a long keen whistle. As quickly as he made the noise came his lupine friend Uzziah who stood 9 feet tall in the tavern. Most of the people grew scared quickly while most didn't bother.

Kenyari turned back to the woman smiling and slowly leading them up the stairs. "So now you never told me your name. I am Kenyari. A half demon if you haunt noticed by know." he said introducing himself trying to be friendly. "How about you" he said to her as Uzziah slowly followed behind them. "And any reason why you wanted to meet up with me again" he whispered in her ear continuing on until they hit the top of the stairs. Kenyari just smiled and awaited an answer from her as they continued walking.

Carlie didnt know quite what to do. It was good to feel the warmth of another living thing on her skin, this made her smile. When she saw who it was she nearly fell backward over the railing. His face was teasing, and his eyes glittered with a sense of playfullness. Carlie finally decided that she could tell him atleast half her secret. Carlie smiled broadly at his tone showing her two sharp teeth. She chuckled. "In your dreams." She said equally as playfully. Carlie walked up the stairs with him in the direction of her VIP table at the top of the building. "Finally a name to call you by, Captin Vallo, only my close freinds have the privalage of knowing my first name. And I didnt know that was your species, to be honest I fell better knowing. And as for me, I'm half vampire." Carlie said. At the feel of his hot breath on her hear she held back a grin. "Well actually --"

The were back at their table now and her whole crew was utterly drunk. Sarah walked over to her and interupted her in midsentance. "Darling your crew is very drunk and keeps on insisting upon our jumping off the edge like we used to in the old days." She said rather annoyed. Then she saw Ken. She pushed carlie away gently and stood frightningly close to him, but that was sarah. "And who is this DARLING young man!?" She asked practically drooling.

Kenyari smiled as the one who was named Sarah came up to him. "I am kenyari" he said responding to her looking at Captain Vallo. Kenyari looked at the table and sat down on a chair next to it. There was a full untouched glass of ale sitting right there so without question Kenyari took it and drank a little bit of it. The demon put the cup back on the table and smiled at the two ladies but mostly intrigued by Captain Vallo herself.

"Whens the next time your setting sail and who will you be stealing from this time" he said laughing slightly. Kenyari seemed to be having fun being here with the Captain and her friend that seemed to have pulled up a seat right next to him. "Anyway captain vallo what was it you were going to say" Kenyari asked smiling at her.

Kenyari noticed that Sarah had ordered up more drinks for the three of them. "Where are you from." Sarah asked without giving time for vallo to answer. Kenyari quickly looked at her and shrugged. "I really don't know" he said looking back at Vallo still awaiting her answer.

Carlie loved her freind, but when it came to men, Sarah wouldnt even give her a chance to get to them first. Carlie smiled back every time his eyes met hers. She sat down in a chair across from the two, sarah was practically sitting on his lap by now. Carlie rolled her eyes. She couldnt take this anymore, she wanted to have a suitable conversation. "MEN! Sarah's going to jump just like in the old days!!!" Carlie shouted. Sarah gave her a mean look. Carlie simply smiled and motioned to the railing, it was over 10 stories high, a jump like that could kill any human.

The men cheered as sarah climbed on the edge. The two woman jumping off the endge into the ocean used to be how the entertaining went, now it was just music that nearly burst your ear drums. "Wont you join me carlie?" She asked using her first name purposfly to get her back for making her do this.

Kenyari watched as Sarah jumped from 10 stories high. At first glance from outside it never seemed that high but as he looked down it seemed very far. Kenyari looked back at captain vallo. "So your first name is Carlie" he said smiling to her as he walked back to the table ignoring the jump. "Am i allowed to call you Carlie or so i have to say captain vallo all day and night hmm" he said jokingly as he took a sip of the second glass of ale that Sara had motioned over before she had jumped.

Kenyari waved Captain vallo to come sit back at the table and have drinks. Kenyari wouldn't be jumping and he didn't want to be left here alone with her crew mates. "I refuse to let you leave me here with your crew mates" he said jokingly gulping down a little bit more of the ale.

The tavern was very lively even at this time of night. Music can be heard from downstairs and there was a little commotion everywhere. It was a nice place to come and blow a couple days off just relaxing and having fun. Theres was always something to do here and kenyari liked the nice entertainment and the nice mood of the place. Kenyari turned back to Carlie and held out a glass of ale. "Going to leave me hanging?" he asked smiling.

Carlie could bearly stand it all, first sarah had jumped off, and Ken had yet to know what that did, then he found out her first name. Her cheeks were burning as much as they could for a vampire. "You may not call me carlie, Captin Vallo, or val if you like." She said taking the goblet he handed her. "And you do know what your drinking right? This is a vampirate crew, and sarah knows that." She hinted, though she didnt know if he would figure out they were having tigers blood on the rocks.

After his comment about her crew mates, one of the most drunken jumped off the landing and fell to the water with a thud. Carlie winced. Then she chuckled. "Dont worry, I wont let you alone with them." She smiled. "Or sarah for that matter." She added to herself.

Carlie took a deep breath. "Well, I wanted to talk to you because I like what I saw in combat the other day, and I dont have a first mate. So, I was wondering if you would accept my promotion." She asked. It was at that moment that sarah flopped up on the rail, she sat, dripping wet, bright red fin shinning in the moonlight, red streaks in her hair and extravagent face markings, but those were beginning to fade as she dried off. The crew cheered when they saw her, she had stripped off her dress, now she was just fin and skin. She tossed her short black hair.

Kenyari looked at the cup as she asked him what he was drinking. Suddenly Kenyari didn’t want to drink it anymore and put it down on the table and looked at it strangely. Suddenly Kenyari’s stomach didn’t feel so well at the thought of not knowing what he was drinking so he decided not to drink anything else from this tavern. Nothing else indeed.

Kenyari turned to Val as she started talking again. Kenyari thought about her proposal as he sat there playing with the glass of unknown liquids. Kenyari was quickly taken away from thought as Sarah had come back into the room and immediately took off her clothes which was rather weird.

Kenyari smirked as he looked back at Val and attempted to try to answer her. "Well as you know. I am a land creature. I have always liked destruction and what not but that’s all been on land. Maybe a change in what I do is needed. Ill accepts your first mate offer. Only if I get the same room you have." he said smiling devilishly.

The last part was kenyari joking around but kenyari couldn’t help the fact that he felt something for this woman. Something about her interested him greatly and he was willing to put most of his other events to the side as he agreed to the first mate offer. Kenyari continued to smile as he noticed the crew mates and even Sarah start dancing for no particular reason. Maybe they drank too much. Or maybe it was what they were drinking. Either way everyone else was preoccupied and it left room for Ken and Val to discuss some things.

Carlie nearly fell of her chair. Then she smirked. "I'm gald you have accepted, you'll learn to love the sea. And we'll see you may just have to force that room out of me." She smirked. After all, she had all the hoarded treasure in that room.

Carlie took another swig as she took a quick look at her crew. They may have been the most drunken men in the taver, and sarah of course had negelcted to put her dress back on after she had lost her fin and gained legs again. She motioned for her to come over. When she did carlie spoke quickly. "I am begging you to put something on." She said in her ear so no one else would notice. Either way it didnt matter, they needed a better place to talk. She grabbed ken's arm and walked down the stairs to the middle of the building where they had booths with curtains for such private talks.

Carlie walked in and motioned for him to sit down. The only light was a candle, she could hear whispers in the booths next to their own but she ignored them.

Kenyari sat down in the booth and sat still as he smiled at Val. Drinks were brought to the booth quickly but the drinks looked exactly like the drinks they had just had upstairs. The demon eyed the drink not wanting to drink it. “What exactly is this stuff” he asked looking at the glass strangely

Kenyari looked at Val in her eyes as he admired her beauty. “So what exactly does me being first mate allow me” he asked with a slight smirk on his face. “And do you think your crew will accept me” he said as he played with his glass more. Kenyari drank a little bit of the beverage as he put it back smacking his lips and sighing softly.

Kenyari had gotten up and moved to the other side of the table next to Val. Kenyari had never liked anyone like he did Val and there was just something special about her that made ken want to stay with her on the ship. Maybe it was something else but either way he wanted to stay with her on the ship for he wanted to try to get to know each other a little more. Maybe even more.

Carlie looked down into his goblet at his drink, this time the server had given him just plain old rum. "That, is rum." She said smilling. He didnt know his way arround the drinks here obviously.

Carlie thought about his questions before awnsering them. "The crew should potentially have no problems, after all you do have deamon blood so they shouldnt feel very tempted...." She trailed off and looked at the vein in his neck where the best place to bite lay. "And you get to boss everyone else arround, but me. You get the second pick of whatever you want from the booty, and plan the raid stratagies." She said counting off every thing he could do on her fingers.

Carlie couldnt help but stare, she loved the dangerous deamon side of him, but didnt know why. Maybe it was the prospect of danger, she didnt know. Though their was something about him that nagged at the corners of her brain.

Kenyari smiled at her comment and also sighed to know it was just Rum this time around. Kenyari took another swig of the drink and then put it down. "Well why cant i boss you huh?" he said laughing softly as he leaned in slowly staring at her beautiful eyes the entire time.

Thy were quickly interrupted as a chair went crashing into the booth knocking over the drinks and knocking over the candle igniting a small flame on the floor. Kenyari quickly stomped out the flame and looked ad Val with a growing anger. Kenyari drew his blade Destruction for it was the lightest and stepped out of the booth.

The one armed cyclops stood in front of him with four other guys. "You took my arm and we will take your life." he said as he charged towards kenyari the other four directly behind him.

Kenyari smirked as he dug deep and ran towards them. Kenyari quickly side stepped the big cyclops attack and gutted him with his sword and then cut him in the back of the neck causing him to fall forward. Kenyari had completely lost his temper and was ready to strike down the next four who had stopped running towards him and also anyone else who decided to try him. This is what kenyari wanted. A chance to let his demon out. And here it was in front of him.

Carlie's eyes widdend, ken was knocking them down with great skill, his sword claiming blood, his eyes fire. All carlie really could do was sit their, she was trapped between a wall, and a crazy man fighting cyclopses. She sighed and put her boots up on the table, her dress riddng up her leg an inch.

An idea came to carlie, she stood up, climbed out of the booth between the men and pointed up the stairs where sarah was surely still unclothed. "Look! a naked lady!" She pointed up the stairs, right away the cyclopses ran away and took no atation to them. Carlie walked over to him and put one hand on his hot cheek, he seemed darker, and more dangerous somehow. She soothed his skin with her cold fingers.

Kenyari sighed as he stuck his sword into the back of the neck of the fallen cyclops fully ending his life from this miserable world. Kenyari had calmed down some and had relaxed in the hands of Val. Something about her eased him but he really did have the urge to kill those four guys.

Kenyari wiped the blood of the cyclops on the Cyclops's shirt and then re sheathed his sword. He then put his hand on Val's soft hand that was on his cheek. He smooth soft hand seemed to calm him more as his eyes turned from their black hue back to their sky blue color. "Thank you" he said as he wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Kenyari smiled and stood there as he looked at her in her beautiful eyes admiring her. Kenyari was truly falling for her. Maybe it was her beauty or maybe the dark chill he got when just touching her. Either way, he felt something for her he could honestly say he has never felt in anyone before.

Carlie smlied at him, his black eyes like the dark of night shifted to the blue of day. Their was something truly evil in him that dared to come out, it was dangerous, potentialy fatel, and she was pulled to it. But she had her own deamon side that was yearning to be unleashed.

Carlie tilted her head a little and leaned her face into his so their lips could touch. It was in that moment that her eyes went from an electric green of earth, to electric red of fire, her two teeth grew to sharp fangs. Carlie stood still like ice. Then leaned back and pulled her sword out of its sheath, its blade gleamed in the moonlight, the gold hilt shined with stolen jewels. She smirked at him, her still red eyes gleaming. She walked arround him her sword at the ready. Her red dress blew in the wind swirling over her legs and her black boots. "You are curious arent you? You long for freedom, you want to do what you want to do because you want to. You want to let the dark side out, you want to see what it tastes like." She said tempting him to the duel, unfortunatly, this was her dark side that was talking, and normaly she knew how to keep that in check, but for some reason he brought it out.

Kenyari kissed back as his body felt like it was also going numb. The feeling she gave him was something that more than likely nobody else could. Once they broke their kiss kenyari sighed to himself softly and closed his eyes. He lifted his head towards the ceiling smiling softly as thoughts raced through his head.

Kenyari blanked his mind as he re opened his eyes and looked around. She had started circling him and he could already see that her sword was on ready. Another duel perhaps was what she was thinking?? Kenyari smiled as his eyes turned from Sky blue to a dark red color. The demon turned to Val smirking devilishly his red eyes gleaming in the light.

Kenyari put a hand on the hilt of his sword and unsheathed it halfway keeping his sword on ready just as she did. "Your move" he said in a demonic tone waiting for her to make her move. Kenyari wouldn't try to hurt her at all but it would also feed both of their inner demons so he went ahead and accept her duel.

Carlie's inner deamon was licking her lips for battle and for his blood. Now the tavern was watching with interest. They loved a good fight and were waiting for it to begin. Sarah was now fully clothed and looked encouragingly at her freind and winked at ken.

Carlie went first for the neck, then the waist, did a five second twirl for effect then tossed her hair. Her steps were light and gracefull. Her eyes were begining to go back to their usual electric olive green, the fight was enough for her deamon side, but soon a simple fight may not cover it.

Kenyari smiled at her quick movements. She was a very talented fighter and it showed but kenyari was still good as well. Kenyari quickly countered her attack to the neck by outstretching his hand and used two fingers to quickly stop the attack. Kenyari then back stepped avoiding her quick attack aimed for his waist.

Kenyari smiled more as he fully unsheathed his sword and rushed in grabbing her. Kenyari turned her around and placed his sword up to her neck. "Too slow" he whispered in her ear smiling as he kissed her cheek and jumped back a few feet. Kenyari then took into a defensive position still smiling as he awaited the next movements from Val. Kenyari didn't bother of launching any attacks for he wanted to have fun playing around with her.

"How dare you!" She shouted playfully. She positioned her hand to slice the sword sideways across his leg. But at the last moment she turned her sword and went for his throat, she still couldnt shake the wanting of his blood, but for the time being she let it go. She jumped a foot or two in his direction and sliced gracefully across his chest.

Carlie twirled her sword and smirked. She lifted a booted foot and sideways kicked him in the stomach.
