Title: Vicious Arena
Description: Private Godfrey
Morgo Domanu - July 23, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Morgo stood in the underground preperation area of the arena. The roar of the crowd could be heard from the hallway and rooms, but it was quieted due to its subterranean nature. This wasn't the first time the orc had been offered to fight in the arena.
He accepted, of course, willing to fight. He enjoyed killing, and to kill with the appeal of a crowd would be terrific. Arena fights were his passion, only with a crowd to cheer you on. He didn't need approval for his passion, but encouragment was the thrill itself for him.
He wasn't sure who he would fight, or his skill level. But all he knew was that he needed to win. The orc recalled him being offered the position. He was in the bar, sipping a glass of water. A silver tongued man had approached him, offering him the fight with the appropriate amount of gold.
The crowd went wild, signifying that the current fight was almost at an end. Morgo had to prepare. The man who regestered the orc to fight had taken his belongings and shined them to increase the crowd appeal. His belongings were now in a crate, which he carefully removed. He grabbed Denger's Talon, his sole possession rather than his powerfull spells.
A bloodied man walked through the gate into the preparation area to clean up. Morgo assumed he was the winner, becuase he wasn't on a stretcher. Morgo turned to his fellow combatants, his minions. Their was the alligator, Xoac. He was fierce and loyal. Next was Aha, his lupine minion. They were eager for combat, as well as Morgo.
A man came up to his room, saying "Its your turn, eh" with a smug grin. Morgo said nothing, proceeding on his way out. A loud announcer proclaimed, "First up is Morgo Domanu, the fierce Grand Slaughterer!" the crowd roared, as Morgo came out with his minions.

Godfrey sat in his chamber, eyes closed. As he heard the battle in the arena rage on, he grinned. It was quite a short match, from the sound of things. The former Paladin cared not for the approval of the bloodthirsty crowd cheering and yelling outside of the arena. He had come against his will, but was promised gold, and the more he had, the easier it would be to start an uprising among those that lived below the deities of Arda. He knew that so called "faithful servants" could easily be swayed by the valuable metal. Though some were still devout followers of the gods, there were always those that were corrupt.
Godfrey had come to Lómëdor seeking supplies, and also to try and cause some chaos while he was at it. Unfortunately, he had gotten lost in the large city, and ended up getting drunk at the wrong tavern. He had apparently passed out after having way too many ales, and woke up in the very room he was sitting in. Apparently the arena was running low on gladiators, and decided kidnapping was the best way to get more. The pale warrior popped his neck, then stood up when the door to the arena opened. He glanced at the note that had been left in his cell; stating that if he one this match, he'd be free to go, and he'd leave with a plump bag of gold; then turned to his opponent on the opposite side of the arena.
An orc, a short one at that, accompanied by two beasts. Since Godfrey had not said his name, the announcer improvised. "And second! A newcomer to Termáre Dagor, Ghost!" The crowd cheered, but not as near as loud as they had for the orc. Godfrey cared not, and he scowled when he heard the announcer. He muttered something incoherent, then drew his crystal sword and let out a wicked roar. If he wanted out of the blasted arena, he would have to win. He twirled the blade around his body with ease, and began spinning around. He swung his blade through the air, then took a defensive stance, and ushered his foe forward.
Morgo Domanu - July 25, 2007 04:56 PM (GMT)
Out came his opponent, a gladiator wielding a crystal sword. He roared, as if he was a fierce beast, pretending to be a threat to Morgo. He scoffed, trying his best to appear amused. He knew that he would be a challenge, but Morgo had no doubt in his mind that he could win. He drew his mace, Denger's Talon.
His enemy took a defensive stance, preparing himself against the orc. Morgo knew just the thing to take this fellow off guard. Magic was the answer. Not many people expected a bloodthirsty orc to be able to cast spells. He wouldn't be prepared for that, or at least Morgo hoped.
He quickly scanned through his repertoire of spells, trying to find the correct one to gain an advantage. He could cast the blur spell, and go offensive, but because of his fellow warriors size, he didn't want to risk it. He could summon a monster, and sling more spells at him while he was distracted.
That was a good option, but there were others available. He could distract them with a plauge of insects, by following with a blur spell and unsuspecting melee. But then again, he would risk a deadly fight against someone he didn't necessarily wish to engage in combat. This man could be an expert warrior, maybe even a master!
Morgo then knew what he must do. He focused his mana, while chanting some inaudible words. Red runes etched themselves in the sky, more and more appearing as the incantations continued. Soon, they stopped, as well as Morgo's incantation, and the runes flashed violently. Out of the flash came a hulking, blue, monster.
It radiated chaos, for it was chaos. It was a Raa Chaos Elemental, immune to magic, but twice as effected by melee. It's image was wavy, its form indiscernible. Morgo was pleased with his plan, for it was not over yet.
He chanted simaliar incantations, except blue runes etched in the sky. Again, they runes flashed, and out of the flash came another being radiating chaos. It stood eight feet tall, wielding a massive mace. It was a Raa Chaos Golem. This was immune to melee, but magic did twice as much damage. This way, Morgo had all areas of the playing field covered.
Morgo order the element at the left to charge, doing a overhead leap attack, and the golem from the left to sweep his mace in a sideways motion. Morgo stood and watched his plan unfurl.

((Accidentally posted, I was going to wait for your reply to my PM, but for some reason I keep clicking reply instead of the word count tool. If you want me to edit the part about using your golem as something to grapple onto and the part about it attacking, just tell me and I'll change it right away.))
"Pathetic spellcaster..." Godfrey muttered, then scowled. He figured a brutish warrior such as the orc would have at least charged him and fought him in melee combat, as a true warrior would have. "For an orc, you are a coward! Face me alone, like a true warrior!" The tattooed human bellowed. "Magic is for the weak! What is the point of brute strength if you refuse to use it!?" Godfrey let out another roar, then sheathed his blade and reached for what appeared to be a normal dagger held in a sheath on his back.
As the warrior started to tug on the grip, a lengthy chain revealed itself, dangling from a handle secured tightly to his wrist. He flung the dagger forward, then grabbed onto a section of the chain near the secured grip. He swung the blade around, then slammed it into the sand, gripped tightly on the chain, then yanked it back, catching the hilt of the dagger.
Godfrey charged towards the golem, though he knew he could not harm it, but decided it would make an excellent object to grapple onto. He launched the dagger towards the golem, catching it in the shoulder, then grabbed onto the chain and hoisted himself into the air, kicking the elemental beside it. The dagger loosened and fell to the ground, and Godfrey landed hard. He pulled on the chain, grabbed his dagger, and cursed.
Now he was surrounded. He thought of what to do, and quickly avoided an otherwise fatal strike from the chaos golem. Its mace plummeted to the ground, and shot sand up in all directions. Godfrey raised his arm to block the sand from hitting his eyes, then quickly grabbed onto one of its massive arms, climbed up, jumped onto its back, then sheathed his dagger and drew his crystal sword. He jumped off of the monster's back, then let out another roar and swung the blade with all his might towards the elemental.
Godfrey slammed into the ground, then rolled onto his back and jumped up. He let out yet another roar, then turned to Morgo, wild eyed. "Your sorcery is no match for the power of Godfrey! Face me in hand to hand combat, your cowardly spells are mere obstacles in my path! I refuse to die in this battle pit, orc!"
He quickly looked to the elemental, then jumped towards it again and twirled around in mid air, slicing at its chest. He bellowed a war cry, then somersaulted as he hit the ground and slid a few feet, bumping into the Raa Chaos Golem and letting out a curse. He jumped away, then growled.
