Title: Plummeting to the ground
Description: Private for Kira Xilophent and Saeborn

Ciantor Silverthorn - July 23, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
Ciantor flew through the sky, the setting sun giving off a orange hue. He flew a lot, as it was his nature. He was a wanderer, and never stood in one place for a while. He was constantly flying, for his wings were very powerful, being constantly worked.

The avian also disliked staying in a inn. Civilized places were his enemy, at no fault of his own. He was shunned non stop, insulted and beaten. To many times he had been called freak, a name all to offensive to the avian. But the wilderness was his home. Animals had always been very caring. They didn't care if he was elvish, orcish, or even dwarvish! They didn't care if he was fat or skinny, tall or short. The animals didn't judge. They went on instinct.

Ciantor looked down, his hawk like eyes scanning the ground below. He noticed a lake, its waters shimmering with great beauty. He noticed a person, only a speck in the distance. It bent down, picking something up. It stood still for a moment, as if waiting for something.

An arrow whizzed towards Ciantor, and just barely missing his wing. He stood agawk, not knowing what happened. 'I'm one hundred feet in the air! How could he get near to hitting me!' He thought in amazement. He had to act soon. If he was correct, this was a hunter, trying to kill a bird, not noticing the human body attached to the familiar wings.

Ciantor reacted, and pretended to fall as if his wing was shot. He gently angled his wings so that he plummeted towards the hunter, falling with a rapid rate. Ciantor wasn't able to see the hunter, for his back was turned, to increase his dramatic fall.

Just when he was ten feet away from the ground, he swiveled his body around, and pushed his wings. He was accelerating fast, but the resistance from his wings caused him to slow down and land gently on the ground. The hunter was astonished to see the bird man.

"I'm so sorry!" he stuttered. Ciantor looked at him with his sharp eyes, a cold look coming across his face. "Leave now and never come back," he said unemotionally. The hunter swiftly nodded and ran away, stumbling on a few rocks. Ciantor sighed, glad that the hunter didn't challenge him. He was exhausted from a day of flying, and was ready to rest. He went up to the nearby lake, a hopped in, swimming around several times, his wings propelling himself through the water.

Kira Xilophent - July 23, 2007 03:07 AM (GMT)
Kira flew up high in the sky, the wind flowing through her unbound hair, and swiftly cutting across her body. She had been fufilling a contract givin to her by a women, to kill a hunter. She didn't ask about it, but she was pretty sure that the woman who gave her the contract was his wife, and she wanted him dead for some reason.

Kira banked slightly, her thick leathery demon wings rippling with the wind. She pressed her wings to her back, and ran her fingers through her hair. She pulled up her long black gloves, and fixed her outfit, straightning out her long cloak. "I'm ready," she muttered to herself, pulling her hands in front of her. She began to chant quietly, writing runes in the air. The runes appered to be red, but after a bit of chanting, they ignited in flames. As soon as the smoke cleared, a demon stood in its place.

The demon stood about the same height as an average elf woman, and was rather thin. She had a pale gleam to her skin, and had two leathery wings, similar to Kira's. The most distingushing features of the demon was its long barbed tail, and two large horns, and a pair of vicious looking claws.

"Hello Izba," Kira said with a smile. The demon frowned at the sight of her, and said sternly "why have you summoned me in this mortal realm again. I hate meddling with your affairs." "I have a job for you to help me with," Kira said. Izba frowned, but said with a sigh "what is it this time." "I am to kill a hunter, and he is not far away," Kira said, pointing to his tracks.

"Alright, you stay close behind, and help me if it gets ugly. Otherwise, I should have it easy," she said, following the tracks. Kira remained close behind, hiding behind trees. Soon, the hunter could be seen stumbling through the forest, obviously startled. Izba placed her hand gently on his chest stopping him. The man stopped and looked up at her, calming down. She placed her lips gently on his, and embraced him, pulling him closer. The man hugged her, and continued the kiss.

Kira could see behind him, a tail creeping closer. 'She's using her looks to kill' Kira thought with a smirk. The tail reached the mans neck, and quickly pulled itself across, causing intense bleeding. "I was hired to kill you for cheating, you helpless oaf of a man," Izba said, pushing his body, disgusted. Kira waved her hand, and Izba said "finally," before dissapearing into a puff of smoke.

Kira wandered towards a small spring, deciding to take a quick break. She came apon a small pond, with a bird like man swimming in its waters. Kira smiled and said polietly, "I'm Kira."

Saeborn - July 25, 2007 08:53 PM (GMT)
Saeborn was walking along the rocky shores of the well known lake Alein when he saw a person summon a demon it looked like and saw that she started to kiss a man. Then as the man hugged the woman he saw the demon come and kill the man. As the demon disappeared into a puff of smoke Saeborn looked to see the woman walking away. Wondering if she was a murderer he was careful not to alarm her.

As Saeborn folowed the woman he saw a man swimming in a pond. As he saw the woman introduce herself to the man he decided to make and entrance. Around the small pond there was smaller ones. Saeborn steeped into one to see how deep they were. As he went into the water he was shocked to find that the water was deep enough that only the top of his head showed above the water.

Saeborn stood in the water and lifted his flame rod over his head and whispered some words in the ancient language and then a huge pillar of fire came out of the sky.

As the pillar of fire fell from the Sky's and hit the larger puddle smoke covered his vision. Making a grand entrance Saeborn started to walk towards the two people. As the Steam cleared Saeborn said hello to the two people and introduced himself.

After Saeborn introduced himself to the two people he realized that the spider was unable to swim. Saeborn looked at where the web from the spider used to be and couldn't find the spider. Then he felt something moving on his head. As Saeborn was about to whack what ever it was he realized it was the spider. Saeborn said "I guess that the spider climbed onto the top of my head before I went into the water". As Saeborn laughed he looked back at the two and said "What are your names"?

Ciantor Silverthorn - July 26, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)

Ciantor noticed a figure coming, so he quickly propelled himself up, grabbing on the edge of the lake, and then pulling himself up with some difficulty, for his arms were weak. But what he lacked in dexterity and strength was replaced by his poweress in flying. His wings were very strong and muscular, his flight graceful and beautiful.

Before he introduced himself, he was interrupted by a explosion of steam. As the steam cleared, out came a elf man, just about to smack a spider on his head. A look of pure terror came upon Ciantor's face, as he started to motion to stop him. Luckily, the elf caught himself, for the spider seemed to be a friend of his.

"I'm Kira," said the women. Ciantor glanced over, only to be surprised to see a pair of thick, leathery wings upon he back. "Your, your...." he stumbled on his words, "A demon?" he said with a puzzled look on his face. But with the introduction, it seemed that she was friendly.

The other person began to say, "I guess that the spider climbed onto the top of my head before I went into the water, what are your names?" Ciantor rubbed his head, then addressed all of them, "I'm Ciantor, Ciantor Silverthorn. What would your names be?" He asked, then faced the fiendish women.

"I'm really sorry that I looked upon you with fear. I'm sure your race is misunderstood, as I am. Although your race is hideously known for horrible massacre, and you shouldn't be an exception, but I'm sure you are," he said, but quickly adding, "You are very beautiful though," with a blush.

He then turned to the elf man, "That was some entrance! Wow, such great magic, but you do seem like a bit of an oaf," he told him, a grin on his face. He caught himself, but then added, "But a great magician!" with a grin. He rubbed his head uneasily. He didn't talk to people well, he was more suited for animals. This was turning out to be an awkward situation.

Kira Xilophent - July 26, 2007 03:02 AM (GMT)
Kira continued to smile, not aware that her wings were in full view. She normally attempted to hide them from normal society, afraid of people wanting to kill her for what she was. But she was different now, eviler, and more willing to kill those that stood in her way. There was a sudden burst of smoke, and a elf man emerged. He stopped to smack a spider that was on his head, but caught himself. That spider must be his familiar Kira thought to herself.

The man began to stutter, saying "You're, you're a demon." He then faced them all and added "I'm Ciantor, Ciantor Silverthorn. What would your names be?" He then faced Kira, and began "I'm really sorry that I looked upon you with fear. I'm sure your race is misunderstood, as I am. Although your race is hideously known for horrible massacre, and you shouldn't be an exception, but I'm sure you are," he said, but quickly adding, "You are very beautiful though." The man began blushing, obviously not having a lot of social skills. Kira blushed herself, flattered at the complement, and let out a small giggle.

He then faced the elf and added "That was some entrance! Wow, such great magic, but you do seem like a bit of an oaf," he told him, a grin on his face. He caught himself, but then added, "But a great magician!" Kira smiled at the avian tripping over his words. Others discomfort caused her pleasure.

Kira faced Ciantor again, and quietly said ", You are a really forgetful aren't you? I already introduced myself. I'm Kira Xilophent. As for your comment before, I'm flattered. I am beautiful, and I do love to slaughter! And I do find it quite funny on how you trip over your words. You do need to integrate yourself in some outside activity," she finished with a smile.

"I would like you to meet someone," Kira added quickly. She began to chant and mark red runes in the sky, similarly to what she had done earlier. The runes ignited in flames, and the smoke cleared, revealing Izba again. She wore a tight fitting elven robe, with small slits to allow her demon wings through, and her tail. Izba stamped her feet madly and turned to face Kira again. "I hate YOU SUMMONING ME!" she shrieked. "I know, I know, just that this man needs some training with his social skills."

Izba turned to face the avian, and said with a smile "oh, then I'm glad I've been summoned. Let me teach you a thing or two. I do know my way to talk my way out of things. Why, if I was trapped in a fortress full of guards, why, I could get out by sunrise with out a single scratch on me. Thats how I got promoted to my job now." She shot a hateful glare at Kira, but added with a sigh "this is better than my last job atleast."

Saeborn - July 26, 2007 04:14 AM (GMT)
As Saeborn introduced himself to the other two he started to walk around ashamed that he had forgotten about his spider. As Saeborn walked nearer to the man he could feel the mans strange aura. As he walked behind the man he could see that he had large brown wings.

After realizing that the man had insulted himself Saeborn made a comeback in recoil. All of the sudden Saeborn saw out of the corner of his eye that the woman was doing something. Saeborn being nosey as usual walked closer to her and could see he laying out runes. As she finished laying them out a puff of smoke appeared and in a blink there was a demon standing there.

As the demon that had been summoned Saeborn was uncomfortable and started to ask himself if he should be on his guard. Just in case that's what she had planned Saeborn took his flame rod into his hands. Saeborn focused his mana into his rod and the blood red gem on the tip was engulfed in flames.

As the demon the woman had summoned started to talk to the man Saeborn put down his guard just a little. As the demon started talking about her jobs with the man Saeborn decided to go try and start a conversation with the woman.

Knowing that the woman was evil helped a little bit because usually an evil person would not attack another evil person. Saeborn said to the woman "Hi, How are you doing on this fine lovely evening"? Realizing that he was flirting with her he immediately stopped talk and blushed. Saeborn had always been comfortable talking to woman. But in this case it was weird for him.

Saeborn turned his attention to the man again. Looking at the man Saeborn was trying to figure out the mans alignment. Saeborn decided he dint care and so he started to say hi to the summoned demon trying to make friends.

Ciantor Silverthorn - July 26, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
Ciantor listened carefully to Kira's words. ", You are a really forgetful aren't you? I already introduced myself. I'm Kira Xilophent. As for your comment before, I'm flattered. I am beautiful, and I do love to slaughter! And I do find it quite funny on how you trip over your words. You do need to integrate yourself in some outside activity. I would like you to meet someone," she said.

Immeadiatly, fiery runes etched in the sky, exploding in smoke. As the smoke cleared, another demon appeared. "I hate YOU SUMMONING ME!" she shrieked. "I know, I know, just that this man needs some training with his social skills." Kira said. The summoned demon turned to face the avian, and said with a smile "oh, then I'm glad I've been summoned. Let me teach you a thing or two. I do know my way to talk my way out of things. Why, if I was trapped in a fortress full of guards, why, I could get out by sunrise with out a single scratch on me. Thats how I got promoted to my job now." She shot a hateful glare at Kira, but added with a sigh "this is better than my last job at least."

Ciantor absorbed the conversation, and then faced the demon Kira. He looked at her with disgust, "You dare insult me like that! I merely am more at home with animals, the natural world, not with the 'civilized' life of men. I am not one of your filth," he said, spitting on the ground.

"And if you dare think that I would ever consider 'help' from the hag you recently summoned. You apparently feel that the world is centered on you, and if I were to receive one ounce of help from your ilk, I should be more than grateful," he looked at her again with even more disgust in his eyes.

"I would insult every beast in the world if I were to call you an animal! You are filth, trash, scum. Your kind is not welcome in the natural world," he told her. "Make your demon leave, for she is no longer welcome either. Return to the putrid pit in which you were spawned," he said.

He turned to see Saeborn, introducing himself to him. The elf then went around and began flirting with the summoned demon. "I see you are welcoming of their kind, elf," Ciantor said to Saeborn, "You are tainting your purity," he told him, giving him the same look of disgust as he did Kira.

Kira Xilophent - July 26, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
Kira's gaze drifted over to the elf who had introduced himself as Saeborn. He grabbed a firey looking rod, and the tip began to engulf in flames. After Izba, the summoned demon began some conversation, he let down his guard a bit, and lowered the rod. He smiled at Izba, and began "Hi, How are you doing on this fine lovely evening?" The man blushed and ended talking immediately. He then looked at Ciantor again, thinking, trying to decide something about him.

Ciantor began to talk, obviously frustrated with the situation he was in. "You dare insult me like that! I merely am more at home with animals, the natural world, not with the 'civilized' life of men. I am not one of your filth." He spat on the ground, and continued, saying "And if you dare think that I would ever consider 'help' from the hag you recently summoned. You apparently feel that the world is centered on you, and if I were to receive one ounce of help from your ilk, I should be more than grateful."

He continued, eyes glowing with rage and disgust. "I would insult every beast in the world if I were to call you an animal! You are filth, trash, scum. Your kind is not welcome in the natural world," he told her. "Make your demon leave, for she is no longer welcome either. Return to the putrid pit in which you were spawned." He turned to Saeborn, and continued ranting. I see you are welcoming of their kind, elf, You are tainting your purity."

Kira let out a small little chuckle, amused at how the man was getting frustrated. "Why, I offered to help you," she murmured in a low voice, "but you must realize I am a force to be reckoned with. And I will have you know my 'ilk' are a Celestial force, and are extremely powerful. We reveal in the destruction of your puny, insignifcant affairs."

Kira raised her hand up, and murmured Arcane words. Soon, a small bird skull appeared in her open fist. "You see," she said with a smirk "I can kill your precious animals with ease, and use there bones to kill you." With that, she sent it gently towards Ciantor's chest, to provoke him. Kira turned over to see what Izba was up to. She was smiling, and blushing at what Saeborn had said. Kira rolled her eyes. She knew it wasn't a genuine feeling that Izba was experiencing, but rather, she was using her body to gain a potential ally. Izba ran her hand gently across Saeborn's chest, and murmured "Why, your are strong wizard, aren't you?"

Saeborn - July 31, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)
As Saeborn heard the woman that introduced herself as Kira asked if Saeborn was a Strong wizard. Saeborn said to Kira " You want a strong wizard I will give you a strong wizard". Saeborn prepared himself to drain his mana down to almost zero. As Saeborn began to go into rage once again the gem on the top of his staff turned to flames. He mumbled a few words in the ancient language a ball of fire and rock appeared into his hands.

As the ball of fiery and molten rock became bigger and bigger it started to spin very quickly. After it was almost to heavy for Saeborn to carry he threw it into the sky far enough away that it wouldn't hit him. After the fire ball exploded into a giant dome of fire and molten rocks. Saeborn decided to do one more spell so he would not be totally drained.

After the explosion was over Saeborn pointed his flame rod over the blackened sand of the very hot sand and then screamed some words in the elven language and then a pillar of fire appeared into the sky. After the pillar of fire hit the blackened shore sand burst into the air.

When Saeborn opened his eyes from blinking coming out of his rage he saw what looked like a wave of sand climbing up into the sky. As the sand came back to the ground Saeborn looked back to Kira and Ciantor to see if they were happy with his short but sweet performance. Saeborn looked down to his feet because he felt a slight pain on his toe. When he looked down he realized that a crab was pinching his toe through his shoe. Saeborn kicked it off of him into the water and immediately looked back at Kira.

Saeborn blushed because of what had just happened but he still hoped that Kira liked his performance. Then he said to Kira "So am I a strong wizard"?

Ciantor Silverthorn - August 2, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
Ciantor saw the amazing performance of Saeborn. He was a powerful wizard, certainly a force to be reckoned with. Why, I offered to help you," she murmured in a low voice, "but you must realize I am a force to be reckoned with. And I will have you know my 'ilk' are a Celestial force, and are extremely powerful. We reveal in the destruction of your puny, insignifcant affairs. You see," she said with a smirk "I can kill your precious animals with ease, and use there bones to kill you."

Ciantor was flushed with rage in fury, his face turning a bright red. He turned to face her, anger in his eyes, "You do care about humans. You only wish that you were a full demon. You are an abomination to both species, a filthy HALF-BLOOD!" he roared, not able to control his fury. He was able to tell her heritage do to her smaller wings and lack of tail, and horns.
