Kali - July 20, 2007 07:23 PM (GMT)
After tucking her feet into sturdy brown leather thigh-high boots, Kali stood up from her bed and moved to the full length mirror near by to check her appearance. Yes, her brown pants and brown vest were in perfect condition but the sleeves of her maroon shirt needed to be pushed up. After doing so, she nodded to herself and walked out of her room, locking the door and then left the Inn.
She seemed to wake up immediately when she stepped out into the sunlight, letting it make her dark tan skin warmer then it normally was. She started walking down the cobblestone street, stepping out of the way to avoid horses and other people.
“So why are we here again?” A soft voice hissed into her ear and she glanced to the side, small gold hoops tinkling as she did so. Her orange-brown eyes seemed to brighten when she spotted the small fire sprite floating beside her head.
“Beside, Sal, this is supposedly the best city to buy jewelry, as they mine the stones directly from the mountains to either side of us,” she nodded to indicate each mountain as she spoke.
“But you already have enough!” He whined, pointing a flickering finger towards first her earrings, then the gold torc around her neck and then to the gold bangles around each wrist and the small sapphire ring on her index finger.
“I can’t help it, it’s all so pretty!” She replied with a laugh and then continued walking, looking around for a nice shop to start looking in pushing back a stray strand of golden orange hair as she did so.

Quinlan Zylos - October 28, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
Ondoland was a very busy and growing city, a perfect place for thieves. It was that reason why Quinn was there. There were a numerous posts about for some common low life thieves. Their rewards weren’t large, but Quinn needed some extra change. Besides, he thought to himself, with such petty thieves, they should be easy enough to catch.

The streets were bustling with people and carts as well as vendors yelling over the noise to the crowds to by their gems. One good thing, Quinn realized, that this place was so diverse, making him feel very comfortable with his Elven race showing. He walked the streets, looking at some of the pricier objects that could be targets for others. His hair, like normal was tied up, his pointed Elven ears sticking out from the side of his head, his tattooed head visible to all. His clothes were clean, for once, and respectable. His Katana hung by his belt to the side, his cloak partly covering it. He may feel comfortable, but it was still better to have a weapon close by, you never know what could happen.

It was then he saw a women in the crowd, her firey hair standing out from the others, or it could just be him catching her beauty. She seemed to be whispering to…something? His ears sort of twitched as he strained to figure out who, but was unsuccessful. Still, as the distance between them closed, he couldn’t help but give her a smile as she walked by. Her beauty holding him enough for him to turn his head and continue to watch her. He should have seen what was to happen next, stumbling into a street cart vendor, knocking some necklaces and other charms and gems off the cart to the floor. The vendor began yelling at him, Quinn’s face reddened trying to offer apologies while picking up the things he seemed to have dropped on to the street.
