Title: Dark Sea
Description: (dmoney only)
Captin Vallo - July 20, 2007 05:39 AM (GMT)
The light of the full moon spilled onto the deck of The Katerina. Her black sails flowed in the wind like wings of a bird about to take flight. A silver bell tolled in the night, the only sound coming through the fog that surrounded the dark yet majestic ship. Figures with skin like marble walked onto the deck, they all resumed their jobs, crowsnest, scrubbing the cannons, lifting the anchor. The, a figure of a woman came out of the darkness, her electric green eyes twinkled in the sun of the moon light.
This was the captin of the ship, Captin Vallo, little was known about her but her crew loved and respected her. She wore black leather pants, a low cut white pirate shirt, a black jacket, and had an adornment of feathers, shells, and gems in her hair.
"Bart, you scrub the deck, let me take over the reins." Carlie said, her voice full of authority but longing to get her hands on the wheel. Carlieseyes searched the water as the ship moved forward, slicing through the water like a knife. The, through the dark waves and white mist she could see something or someone in the water flailing about then falling to the depths. "BART! Stop the ship now! Send the crew back to their bunks! Send down a long boat!" Carlie yelled as she stoon on the railing.
Carlie looked down into the dark water and saw the figure falling, she jumped of the railing and sailed through the air for a split moment before her body hit the cold of the sea below. The water licked her skin hungrily as she swam down to retrieve the body. Her legs fused together to create a sparkling blue fin. Carlies swiming speed was twenty times faster now as she held fast to the mans waist as she made for the surface. The long boat was already in the water when she came back up to the surface. She swam for it and pushed the body inside before hoisting her self in, the air dried her legs and sepereated them again forming two human legs.
Carlie could feel the long boat moving, it luled her back into a sense of security, she leaned over and felt for a pulse on the mans wrist, she found one and put her hand on his cheek. "You'll be ok." She could now see the deck, bart helped the man out and carlie helped herself out. "Take him to the cabin next to mine and get him out of these wet clothes." She said her voice light but full with command.
"Yes Cap'n." Bart moved the mans body to the cabin next to his captins.
The cabin was rather large. Inside was a wooden dresser, a writing desk with pens and notebooks, a table with a single chair, and a four poster bed that had several plump pillows.
"That will be all." Carlie said as she walked into the room, a tray of tea and soup in her hands.
"Yes Cap'n." Bart said hurriedly going back to deck to resume his dutys.
The man was now in clean clothes and in the bed. Carlie moved to the single port hole and put a velevet curtain over it, she gracefully went over to the writing desk and scrawled down a note to attatch to the curtain.
Please do not open this curtain.

Kenyari had been in lomoder inn when his troubles started. He had went to lomedor to get some rest and long deserved relaxation until he was attacked by a group of masked assailants all aimed at the full destruction of the half demon. Kenyari had wreaked havoc in many places and caused many deaths but he never knew there was people hunting him for the wrongs hes done. The group attacked him swiftly. Their sheer numbers would prove to overwhelm the demon but he still was going to fight.
Kenyari was able to take out three of the group but they proved to be too fast for him and their attacks wernt thar hardest hitting but multiple attacks over and over soon tired even the strongest of warriors out. Kenyari fell to his knees after taking out the second one as blood dripped from his face onto his cloak. His cloak was quickly soaking itself with his own blood and that seemed as a big problem to kenyari.
Kenyari ripped off his cloak only to reveal how tattered his body truly was from this onslaught. Their daggers cut deep in some places and some only nicked the surface causing minor scratches. Either way, these attacks repeatedly proved that they could bring down nearly anyone. Kenyari tried to refrain from letting anger cloud his judgment o but proved him not letting go drove him into a bigger hole.
Kenyari looked around quickly as he noticed he was close to the docks as the fresh smell of salt water filled the air along with the smell of his own blood. Kenyari smirked as he quickly bolted for the docks putting his swords away and now focused everything on trying to escape death this one time only. The demon heard something being shouted but didn't really pay attention as a small boat caught his eye. It was not the biggest or the best boat but he knew it would keep him alive.
Suddenly the demon stopped short as he was hit twice in his left leg with an arrow that cut him deep. Kenyari fell to the ground only a few feet away from the small boat as 4 more arrows pierced his skin. The shocking pain of his newly peirced flesh filled his body but he has endured more than this before in his life time and he would not give in now. Kenyari quickly pulled the arrows out of his leg and arm as he quickly got back up and bolted for the small boat.
Without hesitation kenyari jumped into the boat and pushed with what strength he could muster up inside of him and pushed the small boat out to see as arrows continued to fly his way. Kenyari ducked and dodged the oncoming arrows from where he sat as he slowly but surely floated out to see. Suddenly the arrows stopped and with a sigh of relief kenyari laid back. The demon heard one more shout which seemed like another command. They were speaking another language but kenyari didn't know what it was but before he could figure it out a slim man appeared on the docks. The man held out two fingers as a bright light seemed to be collected in front of his fingers.
Kenyari quickly knew what it was as he looked around quickly. This man was powering a Sun beam and kenyari didn't have the strength to power up any of his spells and counter this beam attack. The demon sighed as he closed his eyes and let out a small sigh as the thought of death entered his mind. Kenyari reopened his eyes as he saw the man launch his attack. Kenyari didn't even try to dodge t as it was inevitable. The beam was not at full power as it made contact with kenyari's arm. The demon was sent flying out of the boat and floating in the water as consciousness slipped in and out.'
Nightfall grew on the demon and help seemed to be nowhere in sight as he floated out to see. Kenyari looked into the moons gaze of the ocean as he slipped unconscious for the last time of the night. The attack and the sunbeam would leave a toll and if kenyari ever managed to live through this then he would hunt down every single one of the attackers and kill them in the most brutal manner anyone could think of.
Kenyari let out a few groans as he opened his eyes slowly letting the dim lights peak through as he fully awakened. Kenyari looked at his cloths and soon realized they were not his own. His weapons and other supplies were also taken from him and he seemed to be in a room that kept rocking back and forth. The small distant sounds of water crashing echoed in his ears as he finally realized he was on a ship. The small sounds of heavy footsteps resounded through the small tiny boards of wood. He didn't even bother to look around the room. He just relaxed his body into the soft bed that he was on and rested his hurt body awaiting for someone to actually come to him before he went about exploring further where he was.
Captin Vallo - July 20, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
The bell that signaled the sleep of day on the pirate ship had yet to toll, a single ray of light was left before the vampires could come out. But one, the Captin, Captin Vallo ventured out of her cabin, and ran to the one a cross the hall, it was then that the bell sounded and the ship came alive, her vampire crew men began working on their regular duities.
Carlie looked at the sleeping man, the food she left was still hot and the note was still attatched to th small curtain on the porthole. She walked over to his bed side and sat down surveying the wounds, some were round, others long and thin. "You must have been through much." She said her voice gentle. Her white and delecate hand found a round wound in his arm, she closed her eyes and concintrated, she could feel the wound closing at her healers touch. Carlie started with the deepest wounds that were made by knifes in his chest. She then went on to the scratches which healed almost instentaniously.
He would soon wake up. Carlie stood up and walked to the door, she took one last look before retreating to her own cabin, healing him took alot out of her and she needed a rest. She turned the brass knob and went up on deck before going ot her cabin. The crew was doing alright with no officer it seemed, but they needed a pep talk. The next night theri was to be a raid of a galleon ship believed to be carrying thousands in gold and jewels. "Listen up men! We must concerve our energy for the battle, so you can forget your duities for now and practice your fencing skills. Our formation on this ship shall be a 4-8-8 formation, 4 of the more bulky of our crew to go in first and cause general chaos, and the rest of us shall fallow in teams of eight. Carry on." She said before turning to go back to her cabin.
"YES CAPTIN!" They said, now most the men fenced and played with their good friends aboard ship.
Carlie entered her cabin at a loss of how to approach the situation, she couldnt just march into his cabin and say, hey I'm the captin of a vampirate crew. She sighed and sat down at the mountian of stolen pillows that was her couch. Though he was bound to find out sooner or later, but for the time being it would be best to keep him in his cabin. She thought. Then a thought ocurred to her, she didnt know what species this man was, or how powerfull he was and thei raid was for tomorrow night. And she couldnt possibly show him to the crew, some would taunt, others seduce, and maybe even some would eat him. Carlie rubbed her temples for a moment before falling backwards and stareing at the celing. But she was the capin of a ship so being lazy was not an option, she stood up and tossed her messy dark brown hair. Her boots clicked on the floor lightly as she walked to the back of the room where a minature balconey lay. She leaned over the railing and inhaled the sea air, she wanted to swim, but couldnt leave her crew or the situation at hand.
Carlies fingers played with the necklace which she always wore, it was an antiqute with a picture of an 18th century womans profile on it, the white face smiled, and that reminded her of a great many things. Though the crew had no idea it was in her possesion, it was her first and formost favorite of all her treasures.
Dmoney - July 20, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
Kenyari was never sleep. Kenyari was actually fully aware of the slick figure who had come into the room. Kenyari wanted to say or do something but when felt her cold touch and his wounds closing at this very moment he just laid there further playing like he was asleep. Once she was done he watched her as she left out of the corner of his eye as she closed the curtains behind her.
Kenyari opened his eyes once she was gone and looked at his entire body. He was fixed up nicely. His dark regeneration would have kicked in soon anyway but the sooner he healed the better. The demon was aware of the fact that he was on some kind of ship but where and who's ship it was eluded him.
The demon rolled out of the bed as he heard the soft voice of someone from right outside of the curtain. It was a speech of the sort. Kenyari listened closely as he learned of them going on a raid. He was sure that he was on a ship and what further proved it was that a large number of outbursts yell out. Kenyari reached to his side for his swords but they were not there. His weapons were taken along with his old cloths. He quickly surveyed the room but only thing he found was furniture and a cup of what looked like tea and something to eat sitting next to it.
Kenyari walked over to the tea and soup but didn't eat it.~either these people are extremely generous or these are there was something strange going on.~ he thought to himself. He walked to the curtains and peaked out slightly. He couldn't see much. He was able to see a room across the way and also a figure in that room as well.
Looked as if it was the same figure who had healed him but kenyari was not going to let his guard down now. They healed him and saved him from being out at sea but until he knew who exactly who these people were and why they bothered to even save him he would keep a defensive wall up.
"Bone skull" he said as he manifested one skull that he held in his hand. The skull had a green flame surround it and seemed to radiate dark energies. Kenyari was sure not to use his full power but he was not going to walk in without at least something. Kenyari was strong enough to muster up all of his spells again but the question was is he really going to need to call on his power.
Kenyari walked slowly and quietly into the other room as he watched the figure slowly. The other people on the ship managed not to see him as he crept softly ans silently up to the figure on the balcony. Kenyari was half way into the room when he parted his lips. "Who are you and where am i?" he said in a cold and hush tone. He didn't plan on saying anything else. He just made sure he had one hand behind his back ready to cast a crimson lightning and the other hand out front holding the green skull.
Captin Vallo - July 20, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Carlies mind drifted about the sea, she honeslty had no idea what she was going to do about him, she couldnt possibly let her crew see him. She would have to keep him in his cabin for now. Then, she realized something, she had neglected to lock his door like she had intended. She cursed and turned arround quickly to do so.
A dark figure stood, one hand behind his back and spoke. His skin had healed well, Carlie felt a little jolt of pride.
"I see your up. I'm Captin Vallo, and your on my ship, The Katerina. I was steering my ship when I saw you in the water, I couldnt just let you drown." She said simply. "So I jumped in to save you, and please, my crew dosnt know about you yet, so I would appreciate if you kept a low profile." She said again with a little note of command in her voice. "And please, let me see whats in your other hand, its making me quite nervous." She said placing a hand on the hilt of her sword.
Carlie walked slowly to him, her green eyes shined in the darkness of the cavern, her white skin nearly glowing. She had just saved him and if he were to kill her that would suck, but then again, a good sword fight always brightened her mood.
Dmoney - July 20, 2007 10:32 PM (GMT)
Kenyari smirked as he brought his hand from behind revealing nothing but an empty hand. Kenyari smiled brightly as he snapped his fingers and let a few sparks fly from his finger tips trying to show he was more powerful than she more than likely took him for. Kenyari noticed she had a hand on her swords and his were taken from him.
"You want me to stay low profile, fine. You trying to fight an unarmed man then thats also fine too." he said in a low cold voice. Truthfully kenyari didn't want to fight her. He wanted his weapons back though but he didn't want to pick a fight with her because she had took time to actually save him. Nobody had ever truly taken the time to save Kenyari at all. He always fought his way through everything.
Kenyari looked around and found a chair to sit down in. Kenyari sat down on the chair as he let the bone skull fall to the floor. The skull hit the ground and disappeared before it hit the ground. Kenyari was not mocking the woman by sitting but rather trying to avoid conflict until he had his faithful weapons back.
"Where are my weapons" he said as he let some of the coldness go. Kenyari was no longer trying to mean anyone harm but rather learn more of his surroundings and this beautiful being standing in front of him. "And why do i have to stay low profile. And this raid, I want in if its possible. I can help you greatly and i probably have more experience with a blade and more skill with it then maybe your best crew men." he said in a half friendly half cocky tone. Kenyari had always been arrogant even in the worst of situations. Kenyari looked around the room one last time as he awaited the answer of this women. He no longer felt as if he was being threatened and figured she would be a much better ally than an enemy on her own ship.
Captin Vallo - July 20, 2007 10:40 PM (GMT)
Carlie couldnt help but roll her eyes at him, arrogent. She walked to a round oak table in the center of the room where his sword lay, she tossed it to him then sat down on a chair across the room her self and put one leg up on the arm rest. She smiled at his comment about fighting an unarmed man and chuckled. "Pirate. And now is not the time for you to meet my crew, I'm sorry, nor do I think its quite a good idea for you to explore the ship. And about you taking place in a battle, I dont know, Its true I dont have a first mate but that does not make our preformance dwindle. I'll let you participate tomorrow if I find your fencing skills to my satisfaction." Carlie took her own weapon out of its sheath and readied herself for the mock battle to come.
She walked in slow movements, her boots hitting the floor with light grace and elagence. Her antiqe necklace hang low as she stood, waiting for him to battle. He did not know of her crew, or the necklace. Engraved on the back it read in silver letters: 'So eliquently she hides her pain'
Dmoney - July 20, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
Kenyari caught his sword and chuckled to himself. He stood up and unsheathed the sword to examine it. It was one of his two blades but it happened to be the one he loved the most. Kenyari smiled as he dropped the sheath onto the floor and twirled his blade a little getting warmed up for this fight.
"Well i guess ill start things off" he said as he held his hand out and pointed two fingers aimed at the chest of the woman. "Crimson lightning" he said lightly as cackling energy surged through his arm and shot out towards the woman. Kenyari was not going to show all of his skills at one time because he was testing her skills at the same time.
The demon quickly followed up the crimson lightning by taking a low defensive stance with his sword outwards. He then launched himself forward trying to quickly close the distance between the two of them quickly. Kenyari aimed a sword attack for the arm that she held her sword. Kenyari was a smart fighter until he lost his temper and he was determined to not let his anger get too far out of hand.
Captin Vallo - July 20, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
Carlie ducked at the lightning and moved to the side when she saw his body coming to her, she blocked his attack with her own fragile, epee sword. This was going to be harder on her considering that she, at the moment, didnt have powers like he did, but she was ready to do anything that was necisary to win this fight, even though it wasnt really important.
Carlie slashed for his head while simotaniously moving her foot to trip him. She was ready to not only use her sword, but every measure that she could.
Dmoney - July 20, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
Kenyari chuckled as the girl managed to avoid the lightning and seemed to stop kenyari's minor attack by using her sword. The sound of clashing steel resounded softly as he noticed she had already started on an attack of her own. Kenyari was a very skilled fighter and quickly saw her foot move outward to try something as her sword came rushing towards his head quickly. Kenyari smiled at her attempt and quickly rolled backwards avoiding her feet and lifted his sword as her sword crashed into his.
The demon smiled as his eyes turned red. Kenyari was just showing off more and more. He was just trying to show he could handle his own but still show that he had plenty more things up his sleeves and could do a lot more. Kenyari quickly pulled his sword away and countered with a slash aimed at the stomach of the person. Kenyari aimed one more slash for the throat of this women trying to end this sparring match quickly.
Captin Vallo - July 21, 2007 07:10 AM (GMT)
Carlie blocked his attacks with her sword, the sound of lightning against lightning got her adrenilin puming and her heart racing. His attacks were good and practiced, she notice this and liked it, he may be a usefull tool in combat. But, for pure spite she didnt want him to win, she was the captin of a ship and this man could not not take her down a peg. Then, carlie suddinly had an idea, she ran right for him, weilding her sword aming to go for his head. But at the last moment, she wraped her arms arround her waist and propelled her body and his to hit the floor.
Dmoney - July 21, 2007 07:32 AM (GMT)
Kenyari noticed that his attacks were blocked but it didn't phase him any because they were not complex attacks yet. Kenyari loved the way this was turning out. This was more or less practice for the demon and knew that if he guessed that if he fully unleashed then this beautiful girl wouldn't know what to do. All Kenyari could do was smile to himself as this practice bout heated up more and more.
Kenyari jumped back a few feet so that he was out of range of any quick strikes but he soon saw her running towards him. Kenyari quickly took a low defensive state as he waited for her to fully make her move and work from there. Kenyari could be an amazing strategist if he thought the events out fully before acting.
Kenyari had his sword raised as he saw that she lowered her sword but kept running towards him. Kenyari stood up fully but kept his sword in front of him as she grabbed him by his waist. She attempted to slam him on the ground but Kenyari knew how to react to her attack since the moment she lowered her sword.
Kenyari smirked as he looked her in her eyes admiring her beauty from a close range. Kenyari let out a small chuckle as the word "teleport" escaped his lips as they were falling. Kenyari quickly appeared on the other end of the room standing with his sword on his shoulder as he watched her fall to the floor.
"There’s no point in this. I really donut want to fight one as beautiful as you in such a room as elegant as this. I may be a demon but i do know when i don't want to cross the line. So can we end this now or do we really have to keep going?" he asked with playfulness in his voice. Kenyari was a demon and revealed that but that doesn't mean he had to fight and kill all the time. That didn't mean he couldn't just enjoy the company of the one who took her time and saved his life. Kenyari didn't want to really fight her anymore, but if she felt they needed to then Kenyari would try no more to stop it and would fully indulge himself into a small match with her.
Captin Vallo - July 21, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)
Carlie scowled at him when she hit the floor of her cabin, she didnt like loosing, but this was another realm for her, a realm of magic that she had yet to posses. Their he stood on the other side with a smug smile and a sword in one hand.
It was nearing day, the moon was going to sleep, and so should she, she had a raid in the night and she and her crew needed their rest. She could see a couple shades of pink and orange in the sky. Her crew was probably in their cabins by now ready to sleep the day away, and come night plunder.
Carlie stood back up with every ounce of pride that she had left and smiled. "It is time for us to sleep, let me take you back to your cabin. And by the way, I need a name to call you by, you do have one do you not?" She said putting her sword back in its sheath. Carlie opened the door, walked across deck and opened the door to his cabin motioning him in. "Rest, you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow, and please, do not board the ship with the rest of my crew. Hold back and wait until it is safe for you."
The four poster bed's sheats were made, and their were new foods for him to eat on the tray. The curtain was still pulled closed and her note was still attatched.
"And by the way, you arent the only demon on this ship." She smiled with her mouth closed as not to reveal her two sharp teeth.
Dmoney - July 23, 2007 06:39 PM (GMT)
Kenyari snarled at the women’s comments as he walked towards his cabin. Kenyari didn’t know what the hell this woman was hiding but Kenyari wanted to know and he wanted answers. Kenyari took the strap of his sheath and unbuckled it as he laid his sword next to the bed. He looked under the bed and saw his second sword under there. Destruction was the name of the beautiful blade as he unsheathed it slightly to look at it. The demon smiled softly as he thought to himself as he quickly put the blade back in and laid it next to his second one.
Kenyari ran his hand through his long hair as he turned back to the strange woman. "What are you hiding on this ship that I am not supposed to know about?" he said as he knew she wouldn't tell him anyway. Kenyari just shook his head and looked out the window.
The sea was calm and the sun was shining brightly. Who would really have to sleep on such a day as this? Kenyari thought for a second as he remembered that vampires were not day walkers. Kenyari's eyes grew wide as he realized all along what this girl was hiding but instead of confronting her he swallowed hard and turned back to her. Kenyari didn’t plan on letting her know that he knew what she was but Kenyari also knew that he was immune to the bite of a vampire.
Because he was half human and half demon and he had been bitten before he could not turn into one of the blood suckers. And Kenyari has had quite the experience with vampires. If this was a set up to try to turn him then they were incredibly wrong. It was something in Kenyari’s blood, mostly from the demon inside of him, which counteracted things such as that. He can be bit and it would still hurt like hell. But it was not possible for Kenyari to turn.
"Well anyway i don’t care what your hiding. It is your ship. I’m going to lay down now; I’m still tired from that assault...." Kenyari stopped short as he looked away quickly. He couldn’t mention that for sakes of maybe she worked for them also. Kenyari turned back smiled and lay down in the bed. Kenyari wouldn’t be able to sleep but he was going to just lay there. He had no real reason to explore the ship or the people on it because he just really didn’t care. He cared most about when’s the next time he could let loose the demon inside of him who has been just urging to be let out. But none the less, Kenyari just laid there, waiting...waiting....waiting...
Captin Vallo - July 23, 2007 07:09 PM (GMT)
Carlies eyes were cold, she still didnt know his name but it was obvious that he was mad at her. When he closed the door she took refuge in the darkness of her cabin and slept, tyring to forget all about what they had said. Though she had a feeling her secret wasnt so secret anymore.
When the last purple color of the sky left Carlie left her cabin, her crew slowly came up also and looked at her intently for a plan to raid the ship which was nearly in cannon distance. "You ten go fire the cannons now!" She said motoining to the smallest of her crew. "We will go in an 4-8-8 formation, 4 teams of 8 broadsworders, the 8 teams of 5. I will go last." Now the other ship was ready to board, the wooden rickety bridge fell down onto the other ship and connected the two. "4!" She cried, the broadswordered boarded and the rival crew began to scream as their sails were ripped to pieces. "8-8" She shouted as the rest of her crew boarded, it was only her now. She stared at the bridge connecting the two ships and prepared to board.
Dmoney - July 23, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
Kenyari was never asleep in the cabin he was in. He laid there as the day slowly turned into night. Kenyari heard footsteps as night hit and from that moment it was obvious that they were not day walkers. Kenyari could hear loud explosions in the background as the sounds of random screams and shouts filled the air. The raid must have already started but kenyari took his time getting up out of the bed and strapping on his weapons and preparing himself for this minor battle.
Kenyari sighed as he walked out of his room and into the comforts of the darkness. Kenyari had an eerie feeling about this but he continued to walk on down the hall and onto the main deck where he could finally see the night sky and the dark blue water in the night sky. Kenyari could see the other ship and the humans that were on board. Their numbers outnumbered the vampires so it seemed but either way this battle was going to be some time before it was over.
Kenyari leaned on the railing of the ship as he awaited his time to have some fun but kenyari really just didnt care much of this. He wanted to get this over so that he could actually go back to the main lands and settle some busniess that had caused him to be on this ship in the first place.
Kenyari stood there one hand o his sword as he waited for the order or the signal to strike. He looked at the night sky admiring it all as the sounds of yells and screams filled his ears and pounded his heart.
Captin Vallo - July 23, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
Carlie turned to the man leaning against the railing, she walked over to him, leaned over the railing herself and smiled. She turned to him, her darkbrown hair fluttering in the breeze. "Its your turn, go." She said before getting back up and running across the bridge to the other side.
The battle was in full swing. Her vampires were getting stabbed and slashed, but they healed. A couple men looked at the female captin and began to laugh, she ran over to them and stuck her sword in their stomachs. "Not so funny now is it?" It was then that she realized the room next to her, she opened the heavy wooden door and looked inside, the mountian of gold and jewels was amazing, it was like bieng in the sun. She smiled and walked to them, her fingers touching the cooles of the gold.
Dmoney - July 23, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
Kenyari watched everything as the greed of these vampires amazed him. Kenyari had never been the one to care much for the simple things such as gold or jewelry. Kenyari wanted power and what powers can you fins in a bunch of worthless items such as rings and diamonds. Kenyari laughed to himself as he started across the bridge slowly his hand still on the hilt of his sheath sword.
Kenyari stopped halfway as he quickly heard a roar that was all too familiar. The roar resounded again as he quickly looked around for where the roar came from. Suddenly in plain sight came a beast that stood at 9 feet tall chained up by these humans. Uzziah had been captured and held as a weapon for the weapons and that Kenyari could just not have.
Kenyari quickly ran through the crowd as he approached the beast. Uzziah quickly recognized Kenyari and let out a last roar and showed them his true strength. Uzziah had flung the three humans holding him down into the water as Kenyari with three quick strikes broke Uzziah out of his chains.
The sounds of yelling and random battle cries filled the air as a rush of people started their way towards the duo. Suddenly Kenyari looked to his left to notice that two of the vampires from the ship the women owned were trying to attack him. Kenyari forgot he was half human and the people they were fighting were...well human.
Kenyari quickly sliced the head off of the first vampire as Uzziah grabbed the other one and slammed him through the ship showing off his amazing strength. Kenyari turned to the women pointing his sword at her. She was too busy lost in her own greed to know what was going on.
A rush of humans ran towards Uzziah as Kenyari turned and pointed his sword towards them. "Burn them" he said in a cold demonic voice he said as Uzziah with a loud roar obeyed and let loose a torrent of fire that quickly burned the flesh of nearly 20 humans in that pack. Kenyari and Uzziah could single handedly bring down this entire ship if they wanted to but they didn’t.
The fire quickly spread setting most of the old wooden ship aflame. There was maybe 15 minutes before the ship would be fully engulfed. Mostly the treasure they wanted would not be able to be taken. Well not all of it. It would take a lot of the men to carry it all out but most were still being attacked by the humans so they would walk away from this with not even half this treasure.
Kenyari may have just blown his chances with an alliance with this girl but it was either burn them or have their numbers completely overwhelm the woman’s crew. Maybe she would realize his actions. Maybe not. Only time will tell.

The roar of a monster and the cold blade of a sword pulled her away from her lust for treasure. She turned arround to see the deck on fire, an animal chained and the man fighting her crew and the opponents crew. Carlies face showed complete terror as her crew's skin was licked by the fire. Carlie ran to the deck and forgot all about the treasure. "GET BACK ON SHIP NOW! GET BACK ON SHIP AND RAISE THE BRIDGE!" She yelled to her crew men. Her crew franticly ran accross the ship, only a few that had already perished dew the the sword and herself was left, the bridge that connected the two ships were being lifted and Carlie was still standing amongst the flames.
Carlie ran to the deamon. "Save your freind, and go to Sea Sarah's tavern, we will meet again their. Get off the ship." She said an arrow of energy left her hand breaking the chains that held the monster in place. She looked into the eyes of the monster and the eyes of the deamon before running to the cabin, it was not only the treasure that gripped her, but the presance of an long time enimy.
Carlie looked in the dark room and saw nothing, she ventured deeper into the darkness that enveloped her. You see... Said a dark voice that she recognized. Your crew will die, your piracy will end and you will be my slave. A mans voice creeped underneath her skin and through the room. A cold hand touched her arm and held fast, she could see the face of her enimy, it was handsome, with big blue eyes, and black hair. "You will never control me." Carlie ran out of the room, the whole ship was now nothing but a sea of flames. Carlie jumped into the saftey of the water, her mermaid fin forming as the water touched her legs, her blue fin sparkled in the moon light.
Carlie surfaced and climed up the rope to her ship, when she hit the floor of the deck her crew looked expectantly at her. She panted for a few moments before standing up and looking her crew in the face. "We must go to sea sarah's tavern, she will know what to do."
Sea Sarah's cavern was a tavern hidden from the rest of the world, only pirates new of where it was, it wasnt on the Ardan map, but she knew to follow the path made by the moon, and she would come upon a small island with nothing on it but a tavern towering high above the waves of the sea.

Kenyari just stood there and watched as his lupine friend stood by his side. The flames burned wildly as kenyari just stood there in the middle of the ship with his arms crossed. Random pieces of the ship crashed behind him and he just stood there letting the ship sink under his feet. Uzziah let out a roar as the ship sunk rapidly but still the two of them stood unmoved.
"Ill meet you there" kenyari yelled out as he turned and walked to the front of the ship with Uzziah following behind him. The ship started to break apart quickly as kenyari walked towards the front to admire the open sea. Kenyari held his arms out to his sides as the front of the ship also collapsed taking Kenyari and Uzziah down with it.
Was kenyari dead?? Was the demon finally rid of the world known as arda. Or was he just making a nice exit. If course the demon wouldn't be dead. He had too much unfinished business to die now. "Ill meet you there" one last call of his voice rang out before the ship was fully underwater and the sight of kenyari and his beast Uzziah couldn't be seen.
