Ian was walking along in the woods. He knew that there was a Lake somewhere near where he was. Ian was hoping to find it soon. He had never really seen a lake before, only the ocean, and he had been told that the lake was much more beautiful than the ocean he had seen. "God, how far is it.." said Ian as he came through some bushes and saw it through the trees ahead.

As Ian aproached, he noticed a few small fish swim away into the lake. "Guess I startled them." laughed Ian. It was very hot out today, more than normal. Ian bent down and stuck the tip of his finger in the water. It was a little cold, yet refreshing. Ian splashed some of the water on his face and then walked over to a tree.

Ian had his sword on him, so he set it down on a nearby tree and then looked up into the braches. The sun glared through the leaves in the tree tops. Ian kicked off his sandals and took of his shirt and set it near his sword. Ian grabbed a branch above his head and sprang into the tree. He found a good branch that led out a small way over the lake. "Eh, its not strait down," said Ian, "I'll need to jump out a bit." Ian jumped from the branch and dove into the water. As he went under, he opened his eyes and saw all the nearby fish scatter.

Ian looked up and saw the reflection of the sun on the water and he slowly surfaced. As Ian came up, his wet bangs fell into his eyes and he brushed them aside with his hand. "Gee, I wonder how stuff like this ever came to be." Ian said to himself as he began to swim on his back. "Like, was it just here? or what?" he said to himself.

Morglum was tracking as usual it seamed like it was the only thing he did but if it found him some one to fight then he could track all day. The trail led to a near by lake and to Ian. As the orc looked out over the water he saw Ian swiming in the spray. He smilled wickedly, the young human who stood up to him. He was going to enjoy this oh so very much.

He looked about and found Ians sword proped up againest a tree, he grabed it and twirled its light blade between his fingers. "HA da hummie forgot somthing." He laughed, now he had the upper hand. He pulled out his crude cleaver that searved as his axe, it was nothing to his magical blade but it had been years since he had seen it.

He rested the shaft of the axe on his shoulder, then dropped the sword at his feet. The blade slid into the floor and was burryed up to his hilt. "You ready hummie?"

Ian looked to the shore as he heard mumbled words that seemed oddly familiar. Ian sun in the water and saw the Orc drop his sword into the ground. Ian swam to the shore and was now roughly 50 ft from Morglum. "We're going to fight?" asked Ian, "and I am not allowed to use weapons?" Ian laughed. "I can see you fancy a fair fight." Ian smiled. "Not a worry, I will fight you even if I can't." Ian cracked his knuckles and looked up at the Morglum's weapon.

Ian laughed and remembered his last confrontation with Morglum. Ian tore a peice of his pants off where his ankle was and tied it around his head covering his eyes. "I figure, if your going to make it hard for me, why not make things as hard as possible?" Ian was sure that his wise guy attitude was beginning to anger the orc more than already.

"Okay." replied Ian. "To give you further advantage, you can go first." Ian put his arms behind his back and waited patiently for the orc's move.

The orc laughed heartaly. "You think that I was going to let you fight with out a weapon? No even an orc has honour, and by your reaction i see dat you have the bravery of one of us but let me make dis clear. You try dat agaiced another orc or a drow or somting dey will cut you down where you stand." After he had finished his mini lecture he walked back, letting the weapon fall between him and Ian.

He was true with his words he used the sword to get Ians atention and would never have actualy faught agaiced him with out his weapons there would be no fun in ripping him apart then would there?

He let the axe fall off he shoulder and held it hovering in mid air, congeiled blood still coated its blade. Its feted edge filled to a neer razor edge, he was intrested in its ablity to fight not how disgusting it looked.

"I think you can go first hummie." He grinned bearing all of his massive tusk like teeth in one hiddius mouth.

Ian removed the cloth from his eyes and picked up his sword. "Okay, if that is how you want it to be." Ian smiled as he ran at the Orc and with a great deal of agility, he slid under the orc's legs and to his feet at the orc's back. Ian didn't strike although he had the opportunity. Ian was going to buy some time and play with the orc's mind a bit. Ian knew that Morglum was much bigger and had a larger mass, and therefore manuevering around such a creature would be easier than someone of equivalant size.

As the orc came to face him, Ian smiled politely and ran at the orc attempting the same manuever, yet at the last second, dashed to the side and around the orc. He almost ran into the orc's massive arm, but luckily managed to stay up. He thought, Maybe if I keep this up long enough, he will get tired, although Ian doubted that possibility.

Ian began to spin his sword gracefully around in his fingers awating a response from his massive opponent. Suprisingly, he had already broken a sweat. Maybe, he thought, because it is so hot today. Oh well, once it is over, I will go take another dip in the lake.

Ian stopped spinning the sword and dropped his arm to his side and awaited the orc's advancement.
