Thought I'd give everyone a heads up, I'll be gone all day Tuesday and maybe won't be up to much the following days. I'm having surgery Tuesday morning, they'll be removing my gallbladder because it's the believed cause of my year and a half long illness. It's a laparoscopic operation so it's not too scary, but I sort of have a fear of needles and surgery so I'm not very happy about the whole ordeal. But if it means I'll stop being sick to my stomach every day, I'll grit my teeth and deal.

I won't be able to go anywhere or do anything for 2 - 3 weeks after my surgery, so you can bet I'll be spending a lot of time in bed with my laptop poking Arda. :) I'll just be feeling kinda bleh. I don't know how much attention I'll be able to give Arda tomorrow since I'll be severely anxious with anticipation. :ph34r:

Anyhow, if I'm not around much for a few days, you know why. :)

Good luck Lothy. We will all miss you for however long you are gone and I hope that the operation will fix the problem. I'm sure everything will go well and can't wait to see you back up and running full steam. :console:

ick, surgery is never fun, not that I can remember any surgery I have had. I hope everything goes for the best and you will get better soon.

I nearly had my tonsils removed *forgive me if it's spelt wrong* but recovered the day of the surgery so they're still hanging there. Hope you recover and fast!

Ugh, surgery, had one of those myself, but mine was a bloody mess and the drugs messed with my head alot, so I won't share my experience to keep you from freaking out. XD Anyways, I hope all goes well and we'll be here when you return.

Anyway, you'll do fine. Everbody, and I do mean most 95% everybody feels the same way going into surgery, you will do fine and we will have to put up with your miniscule absence. Hope you feel better really quick, too.

Awwww, I'm sorry you're getting your gallbladder removed. My mother had the same operation when she was twenty something, she said it wasn't too bad. All the same, good luck and I hope you feel better really soon! *hugs*

Eck, operations reek DDx I had mine... four years ago, I believe, and it was supposed to be a no deal kind of thing, but it was :grr: Goddamn cancer.

Anyways, you'll be fine, one of my friends had her gallbladder removed not to long ago, and besides being stuck in bed for a while, it was pretty easy.

I woke up a few hours early so I'll be prowling around for the next few hours before I leave, I need something to distract myself from thinking about how anxious I am! Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone. :)

Hmm. I'm home now. And on vicodin while not wearing my contacts, so forgive me if I make a zillion typos.

My abdomen is pretty sore, you never realize how often you flex those muscles until it brings you pain to do so when trying to sit up and stuff. There's also a lot of CO₂ in my abdominal cavity causing discomfort, they had to inflate the abdomen with that gas to work in there. The pain pills can't alleviate that particular pain, so I'm trying to sit here in bed and just not move any.

I almost got into a fist fight with a nurse that wanted to give me a catheter after the surgery to force me to pee instead of letting me go to the bathroom on my own. She is lucky she let me have a try, I was coming close to making a scene. :|
