Kiesu and Drenkar had been diverted by a scream that Kiesu heard off in the distance. Kiesu's body ant instincts, as usual, kicked in and redirected him to the scream, it had gone when they entered Dori'ba. Kiesu searched for the person but could not find her. All he could see was spirits wandering around, some half-dead, some spirits. "Sorry for dragging you here friend. But you know, you didn't have to come." Kiesu said with a chuckle at Drenkar as he continued through the spirits.

Godfrey had spent many weeks, sitting around the dead lands of Dori'ba, slipping into a brooding depression. He had been sitting against a lifeless, gray tree when he heard the now unfamiliar sound of the living. He slowly got up, and grimaced. The memories of his past began consuming him, and it was tearing him apart little by little. He had to keep himself together, and the only way he knew how was unleashing his pain, hate, and anger upon any who crossed his path. He drew one of his fighting knives, then twirled it around and gripped it tightly. His muscles tensed a little, and he slowly crept closer to the sounds of footsteps. He had heard the scream as well, but he had heard many screams during his stay here, and he learned to ignore them. As soon as he could see the two figures, he lept into the air and roared, then stabbed down at the Rauko in front of him. He figured they might have some food, which he needed desperately, and hoped that he would also come across some valuables after he had killed them.

Kiesu reacted quickly, he held his knives out and blocked the powerful attack. "Too slow!" Kiesu shouted as he did a twirl, unlike the man he did not use his knives but instead kicked at the man's side with his fulll force. If it had succeeded it would temporarily paralyze the man.

Godfrey wreathed away from the attack just in time, then slammed his feet against the ground and slid a few feet. He sheathed his knife, then drew his crystal sword and grinned. He swung at the half-demon, hoping to cut his midsection. If he could gut him and move onto the next guy, he'd be one step closer to getting any riches or food these travelers had with them, plus he'd have the satisfaction of bringing down a Celestial.

Quickly, Kiesu summoned a small shadow-creature to stop the attack, it did so but then dissapeared as the blade cut through it. The blade didn't go much further as Kiesu faked a punch at the man but then turned to try and kick him in the side again. This time, he shouldn't miss.

Godfrey quickly caught his enemy's foot, and grinned. His hand absorbed most of the blow, but it still smacked against his side and made him shift to the side a little. He kept hold of his enemy's leg, and then brought the blade down, hoping to sever his opponent's leg and end the battle before his friend had time to react.

Kiesu dropped to the ground and pushed himself around his enemy, avoiding the blade and placing himself to the side of his enemy. As he kicked at Godfry's side he shouted to Drenkar "Drenkar now!" With the kick he used all of the force he could muster in this position where his enemy was completley open. He wasn't going to kill Godfry, but he would beat him down the best he could.

Drenkar snapped into battle mode and drew his dagger timing his attack perfect. As Godfrey shifted to block Kiesu's attack Drenkar charged Godfrey appearing as if he was going to ram him but instead Drenkar slid and threw his dagger Straight at Godfrey hoping it would injure him just enough so Drenkar and Kiesu could win the fight.
