Title: A day at the beach
Description: Private

Arelia - June 26, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
The beach was beautiful today, the sand was warm and the breeze off of the ocean filled the air with a salty smell. A young woman walked the beach; her long brown hair blew in the wind as she felt the sun on her face. The beach was empty today, save the woman, and she liked it like that. She was a born thief, orphaned and no one to care for her she quickly took to the life of a thief. She was not even given a name but from the day she could speak she called herself Arelia. And everyone in Estolad knew her name and face. This was why she left the small rural city and became a rouge thief.

On this particular day she had decided to place the thievery aside for something more, enjoyable. Being here gave her mixed emotions, she liked it when it was quiet, no children to bother her running around her. Adults were okay; they often came in pairs and preferred to ignore everyone else. So an empty beach or one with adults was okay, for they all kept her from thinking about families. The one she did not have. She picked a spot on the beach and just walked it, not knowing where it ended or began, just walked along the line of sand where footprints were easily swept away from sight. She sighed and closed her eyes as she felt the breeze cool her skin as the sun heated up the earth below. She wondered where everyone else was, it was a warm summer day and no one was at the beach. But it would be a problem if a thief was seen in the open at a beach so she decided to just leave it at that and continue walking.

It was not long before she noticed the sun was starting to lower, sunset was not exactly happening in anytime soon but it would happen in a few hours. She sighed and wondered how exactly she had managed to miss that. She shook her head and decided that she mind as well stay until sunset, after all not very many people were around after three on a beach so she sat down and watched the waves roll in as the wind blew in her hair.

Zakarias - June 26, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
Zak allowed himself a smirk of enjoyment has he darted in between lightning bolts, a storm was brewing he knew he had to get to the safety of the Eastern Coast and yet only a few voyages ever allowed him time to cast out and spread his wings. Using a Tiun wing formation he dodged a loud thunderous lighting bolt that launched itself between two clouds. Flying faster and faster out of the clouds he managed to break free. Turing full force against the current of the wind Zak peered back at the now distant cloud, it was turning tail. As if scared of the Angel the dark cloud of rain turned on its haunch and flew back out to sea. Shaking his head gently against the breeze on his cheek he turned to the distant beach, not but a 3 minute and 43 second flight as the racer flies. Launching him with a burst of wing thrust Zak was within his predicted parameter.

Placing aside statistics and values Zak looked out across the water, pulling his wings in as he landed the massive angel caused only but the slightest turn up of sand under his gargantuan boots. Still fully armored in simple adornments Zak took apart his old war suit and placed it under a nearby cove. Leaving him with only a sword and a pair of broken waved pants. Allowing his hair to blow against the wind Zak started to walk, an easy stride for one so massive but still the wind gave him the slightest bit of trouble. Ignoring its pull Zak continued along the beach. He had traveled only a mile when in the distance he spotted a small being on the horizon. Coming closer he realized it was a woman of medium build and brown hair. Her hair beat against the wind, she seemed so small….

Coming much closer he cast a shadow over the woman, noticing he might be dampening her day he quickly moved to her near flank. Introducing himself Zak spoke:

”Fine day isn’t it, why it seemed only a minute ago there would be storms on the eastern front…the sea is ravenous today.” He shifted uncomfortably, lowering his gaze to meet hers, he peered deep within his royal blue eyes intensely forceful almost seeing all there was to see, suddenly Zak shifted back and sat down with a low thump. Leaning towards her to speak he pointed to the sea. ” There in the distance, I came out of that cloud…you can barely see it now, pity though it was a wonderful cloud would have been nice later.” tailing off to admire the nearing sunset he shook his head in alarm.”Oh my I nearly forgot I am Da Zakarias Domin but you can call me Zak
