Hey there, newbie here and I was a-wondering about a few things.

1) Shouldn't there be set racial abilities as they would help people with their character creation? And in terms of the Hybrids, these very same abilities are either enhanced, diluted, or nulled all together.

2) Class abilities...same as 1.

3) How about a new class, the Pyromancers. Think necromancers, only dealing with demons and the forces of hell, including the element of fire.

4) What about having a force/pantheon pitted against the divines. I'm thinking in terms of not light vs. dark or good vs. evil, but gods vs. an unknown force, and thanks to the in-fighting between the gods, this Enemy has been getting the chance to grow stronger.

Well, that's it for now...whatchya think?

1) Some races do have special abilities (mainly dragons) but the real basis of Arda is to gain your things from the shops. If you gained all different kinds of racial abilities it would somewhat defy the point of having the shop system in place.

2) You won't get special abilities just for picking a certain class.

3) Your character can be a Pyromancer if you want, but it shall be just like every other thing on Arda in that you will have to purchase the spells and things they use. Also just by being a Pyromancer will not give you control over any demons, forces of hell or the element of fire.

4) There is already a kind of force that goes against the God/dess and their Guardians. That force is the Riders: Death, Famine, War and Pestilence.

The Riders don't directly defy the gods, they're sorta doing their own thing currently.

In the lore that Loth and I are writing for Arda, an opposing force you describe wouldn't exactly make sense, since nothing really is as powerful as the deities. The fighting among the deities is spurred mostly by me, though the main "evil guy" everyone fights is Raku, if he would actually be active for an extended period of time. :grr: So yeah, it's a good concept, just wouldn't fit in Arda's universe.
