I've been thinking that all shapeshifters should get their own special set of clothing/armor so that they are able to use their racial ability without serious consequences to their gear...but, hey, that's just me.

The only thing like this that has been made so far is an armour set that was the top prize during one of the Arda Day events. Also making armour and items for a specific race would be a lot of work from the admins (who are already doing a lot of work with current projects that I assume almost everyone can use) The only restriction in equipment that I have seen is things such as Must be good aligned to own, or Must be evil aligned to own.

If you wanna make mundane clothing that shifts as you shift, that's totally fine. But yeah, you'd have to ask Merenwen for the Shapeshifters' Plate if you wanted it that bad.

Darn...I knew I should spent more xp on charisma.

I don't think Merenwen will ever sell that armour as it is like a main part of her character (due to the spells it gives and its ability)
