Description: Private

Kira Xilophent - June 13, 2007 02:09 AM (GMT)
Kira stood at the gates of the iron city, blood spattered on her hands. She was confused and scared. She was just attacked by a group of bandits, and she had killed them all. It was one of her first kill. But that wasn't the reason why she was so startled. She was in a frenzy, she had just killed the two bandits. Then she saw a young man picking some cactus fruit. She then ran to him, and stabbed him, and killed him. It was her first innocent kill. Not her first, but the first when she knew what she was doing. The other time she killed a innocent, she was unconscious, but that was another story.

Kira walked inside the open gates of the city, in a haze. The city was filled with people with cloaks wrapped around there faces, brutish looking orcs, and much more faces of terror. Kira approached a dirty looking bar, hoping to take a rest inside, and clear her head. Just as she neared the door, two giant orcs stepped in front of her way.

"Sorry, no little ladies allowed," the first orc said. "Yea, your not wanted her, we wouldn't want a pretty girly like you to get hurt." Kira kept walking, not aware of their words. She slammed into the first orc, making a loud thump. The orc growled and blurted "Your going to die!" The orc reached in his belt and pulled a giant axe. Kira drew her own blade and flew into the air, ready for combat. The second orc looked worriedly at the raged orc, but drew his own axe as well. They both ran towards Kira, and the first orc leaped in the air, axe at Kira's face. Kira flew backwards, still in a daze, not ready for the fight.

Shady had been floating around the city of iron for an hour now, and soon became quite bored. 'This place has no entertainment at all. You would think there would be countless killings in a city surrounded by a desert, which would drive a normal man crazy from the heat, but no. I get the calm, peaceful city. I swear, if there isn't a fight soon I'll start killing at random', The lich thought angrily before seeing some orcs starting a fight with a young woman. "Leave the girl alone, your fight will be with me", Shady's voice ran threw the heads of the three.

The lich than pointed to the ground and suddenly a skeleton pulled itself out of the ground of which he pointed at. "Kill", Shady whispered almost inaudibly. the skeleton charged at the orc at the right, attempting to grapple him and choke him to death.

"Leave the girl alone, your fight will be with me", a voice in Kira's head said. Kira shook her head, hands on her eyes. She must be insane, she was hearing voices, and now she was going to die. The orcs would kill her. Kira crumpled to a little ball and sat, waiting for the blow that would end her life. It had been a few seconds, and why wasn't she dead yet, it was more than enough time to kill her and end her pitiful life. She looked up from her slumped position. It was a lich, and it had cast a powerful spell, and summoned a skeleton from the ground, and it stood up and began to strangle the first orc who had charged her.

Kira stood, knowing her life indeed had meaning, she could kill, like this lich, like Morgo the orc, like so many others who followed Ita or Raku, and she could join them, one of the evils in Arda. Kira stood from her crumpled position, ready to fight. The second orc, who had been reluctant to battle, stood still, mouth agape, probably since he had just seen a skeleton rise from the ground, and then it began to strangle his teammate.

'Well, if this lich has the first one, I might as well take care of the second' Kira thought to herself. She muttered some Arcane words and created a some black runes in the air in front of her. Then, similar black runes appeared near a shadow of the building nearby. A piece of the shadow stepped off and walked towards the second orc, and came close, and hugged him. The orc didn't resist, and it crumpled on the ground, pale, and dead. Kira waited to see how the lich would finish his orc.

Shady watched as the young woman summoned a lesser shade. "I see you can control a suffocator, impressive. I will now end this, move aside girl if you don't want to be harmed", The voice ran threw her head once more before Shady moved. The lich pulled out a rather large shadow from the ground that was shaped like a tiger, but was covered in sharp spines. "Finish him", those words were all that were needed by the shade before it leaped towards the orc; its large mouth ajar, filled with razor sharp ebony colored fangs. The skeleton somehow disappeared and the orc was on his knees, gasping for air, unaware of his imminent death.

"I see you can control a suffocate, impressive. I will now end this, move aside girl if you don't want to be harmed", Kira heard in her head. 'This lich must commune through telepathy, an interesting trait indeed' Kira thought to herself. She quickly put her hand to her mouth, thinking he might have just heard her thoughts. She obeyed the command and stepped to the side, making sure not to trip over the body of the orc she had just killed, and making sure not to step in a puddle of blood that was leaking from his mouth, which hung agape.

Kira watched the battle progress, as the lich summoned a more powerful looking shadow from another shadow. 'It must be a greater shadow' she thought to herself, and put her hand on her mouth in fear again. The skeleton seemed to disappear as the shadow leaped for the orc, who was gasping for air, ebony fangs gleaming in the sun. The orc fell, dead from the attack from the greater shadow.

"Wow" Kira said with a smirk, composer regaining, "You disposed of that orc rather fast, so you must be a skilled magician. I'm going to head in that bar, do mind coming in with me, I'm in need of some advice, if you don't mind helping me." Kira didn't bother waiting for a response and continued on into the bar. As she stepped in, one thing caught her eye right away. There was a rather large naga mounted on a wall, dead and stuffed. Kira eyed it and continued in and sat on a overstuffed bar stool. She waved to the bartender and he slid over some ale to her and she began to drink, exhausted from the days events.
