Drygonsky - June 3, 2007 09:44 PM (GMT)
Drygonsky sighed and dipped his sore feet into the cool water of Lake Aelin. The water was the perfect temperature for a hot day, not too cold, but refreshing. Drygonsky sighed and leaned back against the grass. He had been so busy adventuring, he hadn't had any vacation or fun. He splashed the cool water onto his face and stood up, shaking his head. Water droplets flew everywhere. He picked up a flat stone and skipped it in the lake. one...,he thought, counting the skips, two... three... four... five... six! That's my new record. All of a sudden, a rock flew from nowhere. It skipped against the surface of the water thirteen times. A voice sounded from somewhere behind a tree. "Thirteen, hmm. That's just five less than my old record! Oh well, just gotta keep on trying!" Drygonsky squinted his eyes and looked around. "Who's there?", he fingered his short sword and wondered where Paek, his Dire Wolf was.
(OOC: you, ((whoever is going to post)) can take the role of the person that skipped thirteen times...)
Morgo Domanu - June 4, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Morgo was walking through the woods outside Lake Aelin, relaxing. His mind was at ease, his fists and mouth bloody. Now that he had a killing on his conscious, he was serene. The body of the man he killed was about ten yards back, the face of the body a pit of gore and blood. Morgo allowed the man to bleed to death after pinning him to the ground and biting his lips off. The blood loss was major, but a slow and painful process. This came as disturbing to the average, but pleasing to Morgo. The orc summoned his lupine minion, Aha, and alligator, Xoac, to come behind him.
Morgo peered through the trees and noticed someone skipping rocks. Five times the rock bounced off the surface, and continued to hop, till it finally sank. Morgo rarely skipped rocks before, he lived in the desert his whole life. Morgopicked up a pebble and skipped it across tehe water. "Thirteen, hmm. That's just five less than my old record! Oh well, just gotta keep on trying!"Morgo said out loud. He quickly cut himself off, noticing his mistake. The person who skipped the first rock seemed very at ease, untill Morgo's interruption.
Drygonsky squinted his eyes and looked around. "Who's there?", he said, fingered his short sword. Morgo stepped out from the shelter of the trees, and did his best to prominently display the blood on his body. He ordered Xoac and Aha to take dip in the lake. Xoac slithered in, body curving in the ripples. Aha leaped in, and doggy paddled back and forth.
"I am Morgo Domanu. Isn't it a beautiful day to be alive! Well, not for that poor chap over yonder, I'm afraid," Morgo said with a chuckle, pointing to the wood.
Drygonsky - June 4, 2007 11:30 PM (GMT)
Drygonsky grimaced at the orc. He had blood dribbling from his lips and splattered on his body, but there didn't seem to be any wounds. Wait a second, I've seen that man before... Drygonsky thought, trying to place the grinning orc. hmmm... he squinted his eyes, then suddenly remembered, "you're the orc that made mass murder in Lomedor! In the house, you murdered the children and the parents!" Drygonsky finally gasped, now grabbing his short sword. "Hey, I came here for a vacation, not more trouble!" he said, finally starting to get angry, "I also have no need for any fights, blood or gore!" Drygonsky told the bloody orc. As he stared at the blood now pooling around his feet. His stomach churned, and Drygonsky fought to keep from gagging at the acrid and warm smell of fresh blood. Oh, Paek, where are you? Drygonsky thought helplessly, knowing that the orc would easily overpower him with his strength and blood lust. As the orc took a step more toward him, the smell grew stronger, and several drops of blood clung to Drygonsky's shirt. Drygonsky turned around, and vomited on the ground by the lake. He wasn't usually like this at the sight of blood, but an innocent man's blood, from one who was murdered, probably just on his way to the lake? That was too much for Drygonsky. He scooped up some of the fresh water from the lake and rinsed out his mouth, taking care not to spit back into the clean water of Lake Aelin. Drygonsky whipped around, and faced the orc.
Langv - June 7, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
Langv was taking a nice stroll around the lake. It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining and the trees swaying. It ended when she tripped over a bloody man, dying in a hole. She swayed away from it, shocked. When she peered closer, she noticed it was a man, almost dead from the blood loss. She sighed, picked up the man, took her sword, and started to cut chunks of the man's flesh. As he screamed, she tore part of her shirt and gagged him. She continued on with the walk, the flesh in her pack. "I also have...fights...gore!" She frowned and hurried towards the voices. "What the?" She turned to face the man from the desert. What's your name...oh yeah! Drygonsky.
"What are you doing Drygonsky?" She laughed at the orc. "Are you trying to kill this hulking beast over there?"
Morgo Domanu - June 7, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
Morgo looked at the new comer. There had been screams recently, and this was probably the cause. "What are you doing Drygonsky?" She laughed at the orc. "Are you trying to kill this hulking beast over there?" the atani laughed at him. Morgo laughed.
"I was going to spare...what did you call her, um Dragonsky. Yes, but now, since it is a fairer fight, I will have to kill you both." Morgo drew his mace, Denger's Talon. "While you incompetent fools try and slay me with swords and minor magics, I use the talon of the previous Guardian of War! I have been blessed with Ita's grace, and my strength reflects that.I am one of the Frenzied Acolyte!" he finished.
He commanded Aha and Xoac to come out of the pool. The alligator slithered ashore, and the lupine leaped up, shaking his fur dry. Morgo began some incantations, and an orb of fire materialized in his hand. Morgo launched it above the two, and it exploded in a fire of debris and flames. Morgo then shot his lightning blasts at the two. Two lightning blasts for one foe. The orc awaited to see how the battle would unfold.
Langv - June 7, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
Langv smiled as the fireball exploded. "Very nice," she murmured. Seconds after that, he shot lightning at them. Langv grabbed Drygonsky and began the process of changing form. She jumped across the lake, shimmering. Right before they broke the surface, she swiftly turned into her other form. She clicked and helped Drygonsky onto her dorsal fin. She was a dolphin. She took a breath and began to leap away. Putting Drygonsky on top of her, she made a sharp turn, and created a wave that flooded the side where the orc was standing. Langv jumped and rode on the tidal wave. As soon as it hit, she flipped off and changed back into her human form. As the wave backed off into the lake, she turned into a wolf and started to rip at the orc.
Ah, Drygonsky. she thought privately to him. Sorry, but your little vacation is ruined.
Morgo Domanu - June 8, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
Morgo saw as the shapeshifter quickly changed into a dolphin, taking both of the foes in the water. Then, flapping it's fin, it created a wave, which it rode to attack Morgo in a wolf form. 'Pitiful,' he thought.
He easily sidestepped the blow, and then commanded Xoac and Aha to complete a tactic that had made winning a walk in the park. Aha threw the alliagator in the air, and Morgo jumped up and quickly caught him by the tail. Instantaneously, he swung him at the wolf, mouth agape, razor sharp teeth ready to bite.
He then commanded Aha to come up and do a jumping attack on Dragonsky with a rending attack. When Morgo landed, he began incantations. When the last of the incantations finished, and cloud of red smoke appeared. When the smoke cleared, a massive golem appeared. It was ten feet tall, and swung its gargantuan mace at the two. 'I love being powerful,' Morgo thought, admiring his Raa Chaos Golem.
He drew Denger's Talon, and threw himself in the fray. He did an under hand attack on Langv, with his mace ripping upward. Morgo hoped that the attack would end in success, and hopefully death.
Arkaru - June 8, 2007 02:21 PM (GMT)
Arkaru walked along the lake, scuffing his feet and throwing up dust from the ground. He sat down to rest for a while. He listened to the sounds of the birds, and the gentle swish of the reeds bending in the wind. He heard a scream and swiftly stood up and looked over towards where the scream had come from. He turned around the corner it had emanated from. He saw a battle going on, and leaped into the fray. He changed into a tiger, then finding himself face to face with a wolf, who was lunging at an orc, he decided to help the wolf, knowing that it too was an Atani Shapeshifter. Arkaru roared as he opened his jaw to bite the orc, who's attention was focused on the wolf. His jaws bit down onto sour dirty tasting flesh with a hint of fresh blood. He recoiled immediately, knowing that the orc would most likely try to strike back. He saw another man being ambushed by a Lupine, and ran over to help, knowing that a man was no match for a Lupine. He taunted the Lupine with a short series of barks, then nipped at the Lupine's rear end.
Langv - June 8, 2007 03:31 PM (GMT)
Langv grumbled in annoyance as Morgo dodged the attack so easily. She grunted and cursed at how she had grown to be so slow. Sighing, Langv changed back into her human form. Unfortunately, she changed her back into a human just as the alligator was thrown at her. She was sent reeling back into Drygonsky. Just as she recovered, a lupine started to charge at her friend. Not thinking about her, she jumped in front of the lupine, knocking him back but also injuring herself. She groaned as she began to bleed. She didn’t notice Morgo casting any spells as she stood up. The golem just appeared as she cast the fear spell. It did no use, for the golem attacked her almost as her spell was finished. She fainted, on the edge of death.
Drygonsky - June 9, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
Drygonsky stepped back, startled, when Langv was thrown into him. He grunted and then he carefully set Langv off of his lap. She had fainted and didn't look very healthy. "Langv, are you okay?" he asked her, his eyes searching her for any cuts. She appeared to be okay, but he wasn't sure. He unsheathed his sword and prepared for any attacks that the orc, Morgo might throw at him. He glanced over at Morgo, then seeing him busy with someone alse, decided to try to get away. He grabbed Langv by the arm and whispered into her ear, "Come on Langv, we'd better get going now!" he wasn't sure of she had understood or not. He sheathed his sword and then half carried and half dragged her away from the battle scene. he called to his Dire wolf with his mind, Paek, could you help me with Langv? he hoped that Paek had heard him and continued on his way. Moments later, Paek came bounding down a hill, I'm here, what do you need? then seeing Langv, he helped Drygonsky carry her to a suitable place to build a camp.
Athia - June 11, 2007 05:35 PM (GMT)
Athia lifted her head to the sun. "It's a bright, clean morning." She sighed, breathing in the morning mist. What a beautiful day. She strolled threw the grass untill she reached the lake. She smiled as a little golden fish swam by. She turned and heard a shout. "Drygonsky?" She quickly ran around the lake, tripping here and there. "Drygonsky!" she yelled.
Drygonsky - June 13, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
Drygonsky groaned with his effort at carrying Langv, Uurgh... when Langv is unconscious she's pretty heavy! Drygonsky thought to Paek, Yeah, I noticed! Paek snapped back, Drygonsky flinched and then looked genuinely surprised. Sorry... I didn't mean it, Paek reassured his friend, I just haven't been the same towards other males now that mating season is still ripe... Drygonsky
smiled weakly, It's ok... he thought back. Drygonsky's head snapped around as he heard the call for his name, also, in his surprise, he dropped Langv. With the sudden amount of weight, Paek tripped in mid-step, tumbling into the nearby Lake Aelin. Paek growled sullenly and then picked up Langv by the collar of his shirt, trying to set him down neatly on the bank. Drygonsky couldn't help but laugh at this display, which made Paek even more made. All of a sudden, Paek leaped out of the water and had Drygonsky on his back. He closed his jaws on Drygonsky's throat, and was about to bite down. Suddenly, he snapped out of it and hopped of, shaking his Dire Wolf head, and then putting his head down, he sighed in his mind... I 'm sorry... he thought sincerely, but seeing Drygonsky looking at him as he was then made Paek feel even worse. Drygonsky was about to tell Paek that it was okay, but the wolf suddenly jumped up and bolted into the forest nearby...
"Paek, come back!" Drygonsky yelled worriedly, " It's okay, I'm not mad at you at all!" this got no response. Drygonsky groaned and then sat down and put his head in his hands...
Langv - June 17, 2007 05:33 PM (GMT)
Langv woke up with a start. "Morgo! The orc! The golem! Drygonsky! Is he all right? Where am I?" Her head shook from side to side with confusion until she noticed Drygonsky on the ground. "Hey, Drygonsky. Get up. What is wrong?" She suddenly felt heavy again. "For some reason..." she whispered. Drygonsky faded from her sight as she fell back down unconsious again. This time, her robes unfolded to a crystal tied around her neck. It was glowing. Glowing red.
Athia - June 18, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
"Drygonsky!" Athia yelled. "What are you doing?"
"Paek, come back!" She heard him scream "It's okay, I'm not mad at you at all!"
Athia appeared from a grouping of trees. "What the..." She rushed to the girl. "Drygonsky. This girl is in need of imediate medical attention. We need to get her to a doctor." Her expression grew worried. "She doesn't look good." She picked up the crystal. "What is this?" she whispered.
Kiesu Shiinto - July 9, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
Kiesu approached the lake and found that on the other side several people were standing over another person who seemed to be lying on the ground. One of the people seemed to be holding something which shined the light into Kiesu's eyes. He blocked the light and peered, getting a glimpse of some crystal. Along with the glimpse of the crystal he saw that the people had worried looks in their eyes. He had now figured that the person on the ground must have been injured. He decided to stay out of this scene for he did not wish to be dragged into anything resembling a fight. He turned and hid himself behind a tree as he continued to watch in silence. If the people over thhe unconcious person were to try and attack he knew his instincts would take over and he would be dragged into the fight and possibly die for he knew nothing about any of these people. He tried to think of calm, soothing thoughts to take his mind off of the fact these could be very deadly people and even worse to his physical health. He looked up and saw a small dark cloud pass overhead. As he examined the cloud he started to think about the upcoming war. He could die in it, he could lose evrything. He could live, he could help the Light hold back the forced of the Dark army for yearsm bo centuries to come. He thought about being a person responsible for helping with a world of peace, a peace that wouldn't threaten to destroy most life. He turned his attention away from this and concentrated back onto the people across of the lake. He prepared his daggers for an attack. Even if there was no threat of an attack from these people.
Langv - July 9, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
Langv awoke with a groan. "What's happening?" She stood up and saw Athia with her crystal. "Oh. Athia. Could you please give the crystal back?" She took the crystal with Athia's nod. The crystal vibrated in her hand.
'I've been waiting for more power.'
'Hold on.'
Langv put the crystal around her neck and instantly gained her strength back. "That's much better." She looked around and noticed a dark spot near the trees. "Uh, guys? What's that?"
Kiesu Shiinto - July 9, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
Realizing that he had been see, or at least a part of him anyways, Kiesu sucked deeper into the treeline to avoid any confrontation or otherwise. Once he got to a good area he jumped onto a tree branch over head and slowly made his way around to an area he hoped he wouldnt be seen. He came across a big tree which must have been there for dozens of years and he peered out from over there. He kept watching and saw that these people were not a danger, at least to the woman who spotted him. He hoped she would not see him again and soon they would leave so he could rest here for a bit. He waited and watched from his position. He looked around and thought of escape plans in case these people spotted him and they were hostile. He tread lightly as he made his way behind another tree, which was about half the size of the humngous tree he was just behind. He started to constantly move from cover to cover so he would not be seen. He hid behind several trees and a mound of stone. He would keep doing this until the people had left for a good incriment of time, then he could go and relax without worry of Death. He thought about this moment and how stupid that thought was, if they were here once they would return and some time. He still kept shuffling between trees and shrubbery until hec amet to a spot that was heavily shrouded and shrubbed that he could hide in without worry of beins seen, to confirm this he removed his cloak and tossed it to another tree to lead the people away from his hiding spot. A bird had put it's nest in the shrubbery and Kiesu was being as careful as he could be not to disturb the nest any more then already had.
Langv - July 17, 2007 11:16 PM (GMT)
The spot moved to the left. Langv tried to follow it, but lost it in the mist of the forest. "What was that?" She shook her head. "What ever it is, I hope it isn't Morgo's lupine."
'Or Arkaru'
'Right...?'
The crystal glowed violently again.
'Do not underestimate me, Langv.'
'Right... Don't have to be to fiesty about it, Shkai.'
'I'm putting you in a hyper mode.'
'SHKAI!'
Too late. The crystal had already changed her legs into a wolf's hindquater. She was, again, flashed into a brilliant light and changed into a wolf. The only thing diffrent about her was that her fur was a brilliant red, like a red fox's pelt.
"Very nice." She instantly sat down on her haunches, waiting for her friends, who now glowed a brilliant red symbolizing they were warm-blooded, response.
