Title: Spider Blood
Description: *PRIVATE*

Adam Hawk - May 31, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Adam walked slowly around the forest, the sounds of creatures moving all around him. It was only a mile more till he made it to the spider caves and all ready he wasn't liking the place. This was a training mission for Adam, to test his combat strength and prepare for true battle when he needed the skill. He walked along the moist forest floor, his shoeless feet growing colder with every step. His cloak was rapped around his body and under it was a suit of hard leather armor. In his hand a black short sword that he wished to try out, and in his cloak pocket, a small dagger that he first used as his weapon.

Small clicking noises came from behind and Adam was quick to react, flinging himself around and slashing the figure behind him. It was a large spider, bigger than he had ever seen. It was five times larger than the ones that roam around in regular places. The spider quickly recovered and flashed it's dagger like fangs at the young man. Adam quickly slashed again, but this time the spider dodged the attack and went straight for Adam. The fangs sunk into his arm making a powerful sting all over his body. Adam then flung his sword once more enraged and in pain, stabbing the spider right through the head. Then the beast and Adam collapsed to the ground. The spider was dead, and Adam was slowly dying, he needed an anti-poison and fast.

Eww...Ugh, I hate spiders...

Shuddering, Louise hugged her cloak tighter around her, hoping it would protect her against the nasty fiends. However, she knew it would not do much good; the beasts had even frightened her horse, whom she had had to leave behind, tied to a tree a good distance away so he would not try to tear the plant down.

Her long, light brown hair hung in her gray eyes and her fair-complexed face, her eyes wide as she glanced about. Her ears rung with the sounds of the spiders' movements, but what surprised her was the sound of a spider's cry. She thought she was hearing things, but she heard it again, and once more. A little frightened, Louise hesitated, but she continued on in the direction of the cry.

When she got there, she saw a man on the ground beside a dead spider, other live ones coming and clicking the pincers threateningly at the fallen man. Louise put a hand on the hilt of her dagger as she hurried forward, kneeling down beside the man.

"'Ello? Art thou hurt?" she asked in a whisper, nudging the man's shoulder gently. It was then she saw the bite, and she swallowed her own saliva, frantically reaching inside of her cloak for an anti-poison. She soon found her Cure Poison potion, and she rolled the man gently onto his back, shifting so she could hold his head on her lap. She pressed the rim of the bottle against the man's lips after she had opened it, tilting it slightly so the liquid fell into the man's mouth.

"C'mon...Drink," Louise said quickly, her voice still a whisper as she waited to see if he would swallow the liquid. Hopefully she was not too late...

Adam was only able to swallow a small bit of the potion before jumping upwards. He saw the lady with the bottle of green liquid in her hand. His savior had come and finally he hadn't made fun of someone. "Thank you, I am in your debt," Adam said bowing before her. Still the pain from the wound stung his body, but Adam pulled through, all he needed was to swing his arms, breath, and run. He still had trouble doing so as he started moving his legs around, the pain the echoed all around his body and set his insides on some what of a fire.

Still Adam didn't show pain, it was enough that the lady had saved his from dying of poison, he didn't want her to do more for him. "So, and your name is?" Adam questioned, breaking the silence and making his awkwardness fade. Adam still chuckled inside for the vocabulary of the woman was very minimal. Adam could speak English very well, but still he didn't laugh out loud. For once he was polite.
