Adam gazed as far as he could ahead. The misty waters and puddles made this adventure harder than he had expected. He wiped the sweat off of his face and then pressed on his hand clutching his short sword, ready for an attack. Bird swooped over head and their songs could be heard in all direction. Adam glance from side to side as many small land creatures ran for cover at the site of him.

He was in search of the ring of Harva. His troops that would help him were coming, and he had to find them quickly. He didn't like this place one bit. He hated most places, but most of all he hated watery floors, for he couldn't swim. He pressed on only drawing his sword to cut the plants and branches out of his way.

Lily was also wading through the waters in this cold rainforest. But she was on a much different mission. She was on her way to the Underworld. The only way to get there was through this murky water, well, for all she knew.

She could not see far ahead, as creatures of all sorts ran past her and birds flew above. She smiled at the sight, whisteling with the tune of them. But she had to keep her mind on her mission, no matter how dire it was.

Suddenly, as she watched the birds overhead, she tripped over the root of a tree. With a loud "Crack!" she fell to the floor, breaking several twigs with her body.
