Ethari Xilophent - May 19, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
Ethari set his coral cup down on the small blue table, made of blue glass. He was finally here, the city of merepeople. It wasn't easy, but he made it to the city of Bar-Nu-Nen. The cities buildings were all made of the blue glass, the same glass his table was made of. The stuff must be pretty durable, may be even strong enough for a strong blade. Ethari's mind began to wander, as he relaxed from his long trip.

Ethari had swam down to the city, a long swim, but quicker than a average human, due to his angel wings that he used to push himself through the water. It was about a minute and a half of swimming. Tarkin, a follower of Balance who helped Ethari, couldn't make the swim, as well as his dove. Together, they both stayed at Haudhiaur Island, in a crude make shift camp they had made together the previous day. Ethari had a small map with him which he had acquired from the near by pirate hide out. He then used it to visit a small inn, about three miles from the main city. It was so close to the surface because it was meant for visitors and merepeople half breeds, not able to travel the full journey to the city and the surface in one breath.

The bar tender was a half breed as well, since the room was not submerged in water, and had plenty of air. In the small tavern, a half dragon, two other half merpeople and four elves, and seven pirates were there as well, taking a break from the swim as well as Ethari. The bar tender had her hands full, refilling cups every thirty seconds or so, mainly to the drunken pirates. Ethari shook his head, shamed that they displayed themselves in public in such a grotesque manner.

There was no door to the inn, but rather a trap door from the floor. A small Alu cat walked out of the small trap door to the water, carrying a small fish in his mouth. That must be the bar tenders pet, Ethari thought. The cat sat down near a small bowl of water and began eating the fish while the bar tender worked furiously to fill glasses with ale and other alcoholic beverages.

The trap door began to move again. Some one else was coming inside. Ethari sat up and pulled his hood out of his face to get a better look. A water naga emerged from the door. Ethari stared, his colors vibrant, and much more exotic than that of a land naga. Ethari had heard much about these naga's. They were close allies with merepeople, but extremely xenophobic towards surface dwellers. Ethari kept his hand towards the hilt of his sword, cautious of the water naga's beliefs. The water naga sat at a table near the pirates. Ethari noticed that the naga had a coral sword at his hilt, and a dagger as well, and was extremely muscular. Ethari hoped that his intentions would be good, and not ill minded.

Morgo Domanu - May 19, 2007 09:59 PM (GMT)

Morgo wasn't himself. He was walking around a field, and came to a mass of water. He stared at the water, memories flashing through his mind. He had crossed the plains, searching with the intent of killing. Morgo had the psychopathic need to kill, and had not satisfied that need in a while. He was going insane, his eyes were bloodshot, and his judgement clouded, well even more clouded.

Another memory flashed by. He was in the room of a recent murder. 17 school children and 2 teachers laid dead in the room, most of them decapitated, bound and gaged with missing limbs from his recent torture. He was in such a good mood, smiling and humming. On the wall was a map of Arda. In the center of the ocean was a city, a city of Merfolk.

That was the nearest place, with the nearest people. He would go their. Beckoning to Xoac, he dove into the ocean, and began to swim. Morgo quickly swam and came into site of a building floating in the middle of the ocean. It seemed to have an air supply, due to the fact several drunk pirates could be heard singing. Without thinking, Morgo swam through the water towards it.

He noticed a trap door on the top. He entered it and studied his surroundings. The bar tender was a half breed as well, since the room was not submerged in water, and had plenty of air. In the small tavern, a half dragon, two other half merpeople and four elves, and seven pirates were there as well, taking a break from the swim. A angel was also taking a drink. A water naga had recently entered the bar as well.

Morgo couldn't hold in his desire to kill. A bit of good judgement leaked into his state of rage. If he provoked the naga, and shot a hole into the wall, water would begin to leak. He would then swim up and hold the trap door shut ,and listen to their screams as they drowned.

Morgo picked up Denger's Talon and beckoned Xoac to enter. Morgo went up to the bar and said, "One drink please" with being as polite as possible. "Coming right up sir," the bar maid responded. Morgo turned to the naga, which looked at him curiously and staring at his bloodshot eyes. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FISH BREATH!?!?" he roared. The naga hissed and drew it's coral blade. "Ohh, sorry, I don't want a fight," Morgo lied. But the naga ignored and began to fight.

Morgo dodged the naga's overhead slash. He then swiped with a sideways cut, cutting the creatures serpentine body. Morgo then blasted it with lightning 3 times, purposefully making one miss. Two hit the naga, and it slithered to the ground, limp and dead. Morgo was satisfied, but not enough. The third bolt hit the wall, and water began to pour down in a torrent. Morgo took a deep breath, swam through the hatch and held it shut. Xoac came to his side, and pressed his mass up against it, too.

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
(OOC: The building is partly below water, so the room is going to flood slowly.)
Ethari watched the fight commence, and quickly drew his diamond long sword. That man was violent, that was for sure. Ethari watched as the orc shot bolts of lightning fire from his mace and hit the wooden wall, breaking a hole in the wall, causing the room to flood. It flooded slowly, since it was only partly submerged, but in soon time, the building would be completely flooded, killing everyone.

Ethari would have to act fast, if he wanted to save any one. The bar maid quickly shouted, "save others first, I can hold my breath for a hour or so." Ethari nodded, and set off to help the others. The water was about knee deep. Ethari pulled on the trap door that led to the water, but it was stuck. The orc must be holding it close.

Ethari muttered a small blessing, the people in the room quickly regained hope. That would be helpful, for if people started to panic, the effects could be catastrophic. Ethari called for help, and the half dragon and two elves began to push on the door. Then Ethari cast a illusion and made a visage of another water Naga approaching the orc outside.

Ethari hoped that the orc would let go to face the illusionary threat or may be remove what ever help that is holding the door shut. If the pressure was removed, then the combined strength of them together would surely burst the door open, saving all there lives.

Ethari got off the group holding the door and decided to help some where else as well. He had his sword drawn and knew that it would make a dreadful cut, and easily pierce the wood of the inn. He appraoched the wall with the hole where the orc had shot his lightning bolt. The hole was relatively small, about the size of a pumpkin, but the quickly flooding water, the size was quickly expanding. Ethari faced the water and began to cut away at the hole, resisting the water. After about a minute, he had a hole large enough for people to swim through.
