Serina felt sand beneath her face as she woke from the night of terror. She got up and brushed her self off looking around seeing remnants of the ship she had been on. It seemed that she had been the only survivor. She then looekd at the land before which was beautiful and exotic and wondered where she was as none of this seemed familar. She sighed and thought,' The storm must of blow us way ofcourse, now Iam stuck in a place that I have no knowledge of". She walked off the beach and soon found a cave that semed abandoned. For it seemed to have been occupied at latest of two days so possibly whoever was in it was long gone. She sighed as she shivered for the need of warmth as she was not entirely dry.

Arthur had been camping near the eastern coast for days now mostly to get away from the daily haggle of performing. Ever since the dragon mating season had started, he had not gone back to dragon slaying to say the least he was just plain bored. His newly hatched Steel dragon Valinor happily played in the sands and Arthur smiled at the little dragon. Arthur loved this little creature as he felt like a father to it. The steel dragon looked up at him with playful eyes and then jumped into his arms. Arthur hugged the little dragon as he felt alove he had never felt before for it. He started petting the dragon on its head which had rough hard scales. It cooed for the attention. It was not yet able to speak or breath fire but that would soon change as dragons grew quickly. He soon found a cave and entered only to find the most beautiful women he had ever seen in it. His mouth went dry at her beauty as he had never seen anything like it. He said," Iam sorry mam I did not realize anyone was in here forgive me".

Serina was taken by suprise when someone spoke to her in the cave. She almost grabbed the sword by her side before looking. When she did she saw a man who did not seem entirely human. As he was quite handsome. He did not seem pure breed because hsi features were angled not like an elf of course but something more. He was very muscled and she woudl have guessed he had more brawn than brain but for his eyes. His eyes showed intelligence liek none other. In his arms their lay a strange creature steel in color scaley almost with wings. If she would had to guess she woudl say that was a dragon hatchling. She said," Nay its is alright there is plenty of room here as long as you can bring a fire, it is quite cold to me".

Arthur smiled at her and was a bit suprised she did not say anything about the dragon in his arms. He said," A fire sure thing you do look as if you have been in a terrible storm". SHe did at that but that did not mar her beauty to him. He wondered who this girl was. He knew she was no Goddess but in his opinion she was pretty close to one. He put Valinor down and went out and gathered some drift wood from the sands. HE brought them in and saw Valinor studying the woma intently. He chcukled and put the wood in a pile and soon had a roaring fire going and he said," There you go mam". He smiled at her and said," If I may ask were you in a ship wreck cause from what I coudl tell out on the beach thats how you got here".

Serina waited on the man to return with the fire wood. Sicne she had no dry clothes she would not take of the ones she had on but dry in them. She looekd at the little steel dragon who was gazing at her intently with its steel blue eyes. She wondered how this man had gotten it. When the man came and started the fire. She felt the warmth of it as it roared. The man then said something and Serina answered," Yes a ship wreck, the ship I was on got trapped in a storm it seems that Iam the only survivor". She crept closer to the fire and said," Frankly Im a little lost because Iam not sure where Iam because nothing seems familar".

Arthur listned to the woman he smield and said," Well its obvious that your lost, ship wrecks have away of turning thigs around, lets see you would be on The Eastern Coast of The Continent of Ea if that helps any". Arthur figured the ship she was on got blown of course by the storm. Arthur did not know mutch about storms or thigns liek that so he just figrued she must be from here.

Serina looked at the man . She thought " Iam definetely off course to be here, it would take near amonth to get back to Pendraeg". She said," It does it lets me know that home is not to far from here, but then again I have no way to get home, so I guess I am stuck here for awhile". She liekd the sound of that really back home she was treated as a princesss when she wanted to be a warrior like her father. She said," Thank you for helping me, my name is Serina by the way". She hoped the man would tell her his he seemed intersting enough to her for that.

Arthur was a bit suprised when she talked of goign home. He thought," So she isn't from here, well you can't call em all right". He smiled as she said her name," A beautiful name dear lady, myself I am called Arthur, my full name though is Arthur Pendragon". He smiled at her glad the she said her name. He then said," This right here is Valinor my young little hatchling, Mandrab the Eagle is somewhere about but he'll come by soon". He did wonder where Mandrab was possibly hunting somewhere. Soon Valinor crept up into his lapd and closed his eyes. He smield at the dragon . He said," You probably haven't seen a human with a dragon before have you".

Serina listned to the man and smield as he introduced himself. So his name was Arthru Pendragon an odd last name but still it kind of fit him. The dragons name sounded interestign she had no idea what it mean and this man also had an eagle or so he said. She wondered even more about this man named Arthur. She said," No I dare say I haven't, of course I haven't seen alot of things in my life". SHe smiled and said," How did you come by your little friend if I may ask". She was curious and plus this would help her dry quicker as she still felt cold but warmth was crepping to her now.

Arthur smiled at her and said," How I found him, he was in an egg when I did, the nest had been abandoned and only one the 5 eggs laid survived what seemed to be a trampling. Thus I took it upon myself to take the egg and raise the dragon inside to the best of my ability. Little did I know I would have the love of a father toward it, I love him more than anythign Iam not sure why but I feel a deep connection to Valinor". He petted the sleeping dragon as joy filled his eyes as he looked down at him. No one in the world would feel what he felt for the creature in his arms. He was in love with the creature not a love like man and woman love but love of a father toward his son. He would die for the creature in his hands. He sighed and said," SOme would ask why raise something that could cause devistation, not all dragons do that, only the evil ones cause devastation for fun, the good ones do it to survive".

Serina wondered at what the man knew of Dragons for he spoke of them with a reverence. He then noticed the man had a mark on his right arm. It was a Dragon Emblem they had these in her lands for either The Dragon Knights or The Dragon Slayers. His seemed a full dragon he was probably both Knight and Slayer a strange combination but now she saw why he had reverence for them. She said," True that is true though, I would guess beyond the fatherly bond feeling you wish to have a deeper connection with what you are am I correct".

Arthur looked at her and wondered if she had figured what he was. HE then remembered the mark upon his arm and smiled and said," You could say that,to be something one must fully understand it that is my reason other than I love dragons". He smiled and looked at the sword by here and asked her," You any good with a sword, if I may ask".
