Description: OPEN

Morgo Domanu - May 13, 2007 08:52 PM (GMT)
Mogo walked down the streets of Estolad, towards to the Kaima Inn. He was shot a few hateful glances, which he ignored. He was behaving himself quite well, and was very proud of doing so. Not one casualty in this town, yet. Morgo walked into the inn. It was dirty and a bit disgusting, but homey. The main level was a bar, with a few tables with a few patrons. In the bar was a table, with several bar stools.

Morgo was in a great mood today, so he sat down next to a shaggy old man. His beard was scruff, his clothes ripped and musty and his breath reeked of alcohol. "Why, hello their sir," Morgo greeted. The man grunted and swiftly turned away. The patrons began finishing their drinks and leaving, feeling uncomfortable with an orc in the building.

"Why, don't mind him," Morgo turned to see the bartender, wiping a glass. She was plain with blond hair. She was human in appearance, but some elven traits were noticeable. "He's just the town bum," she finished, taking no care to the fact the man was listening. "Ohhh, that's fine," Morgo said. "I get a lot of prejudice due to my heritage. Lots of people think orcs are all savage-," "Well they are!" the bum interrupted, slamming his glass down and walking away. "As I was saying, most people think orcs are all sadistic, but I am most certainly not," he lied. "Actually, I'm only half orc," he continued lying again.

"Well, I was brought up to respect people, not to judge," she told him, "I'm Vanessa," she introduced. "Why, I'm Morgo," he replied. They began having light conversation about the weather and such, occasionally interrupted with a patron coming for a quick drink, and then a moment of silence. Morgo broke the silence, "Vanessa, what makes you happy?" he asked. "Well lots of things," she said. "Pick your favorite," Morgo told her politely. "Well, that has to be getting a new book. I just love reading!" she exclaimed. "Well, I have lied to you some Vanessa, I am full orc-" "That's fine, your so polite it doesn't matter-"she interrupted. "No, it does." Morgo cut her off, "See, the thing I love the most is death. I have such a great opportunity here. Goodbye Vanessa," Morgo finished.

He raised his mace above his head ready to strike.

Ethari Xilophent - May 19, 2007 03:46 AM (GMT)
Ethari sat in the corner of the small in, his chair tilted back, and a half empty glass on the table. He had been there for a hour, lost in total thought. His dove, Cataraza, was out on a flight, and Tarkin, his follower Balance priest, was visiting a temple of Balance, and leaving an offering there. Then a orc walked in.

He was giant, and had a vicious looking mace at his side, and a long sword. He sat down at the stool near the bar table, the bar tender was a blond human, a few elven traits in her blood, and showing in her skin. The man next to the orc left, muttering words of there sadistic cruelty. The orc then said he was a half orc, and not sadistic. Ethari made a small smile, glad that the orc had chosen to change, to be good and not evil.

The orc and the lady then continued in small talk. Ethari smiled at the to talking together, no, flirting with each other, letting out a small chortle together once and a while. Ethari stood up, ready to leave and join Tarkin at the temple. Just as Ethari began to head out the door, some thing caught his ear.

"Well, I have lied to you some Vanessa, I am full orc-" "That's fine, your so polite it doesn't matter-"she interrupted. "No, it does." Morgo cut her off, "See, the thing I love the most is death. I have such a great opportunity here. Goodbye Vanessa,". Ethari had to react fast if he wanted to save her life! Ethari used his quick reflexes and drew his diamond sword. He stretched his other hand outward, and sent a magical net hurdling towards the orc, in attempt to save her life.

Morgo Domanu - May 20, 2007 03:14 AM (GMT)
Morgo continued his plan, and was about to finish through, but then was under attack by a magical net. It launched forth and Morgo was forced to side step, making the bar maid able to run up the stairs to her room. Her door slammed shut, and Morgo could hear her stacking things in front of it. Morgo lost his chance for a killing. This man would work as substitute. He'll be fine, I suppose, Morgo thought. But he would put up a fight. So Morgo thought up of a plan, and decided that it would work. Here we go, he thought to himself.

Morgo growled and faced his new foe. He looked at him and studied his figure. He was an archangel. His blood was pure, his intentions purer. Morgo beckoned for Xoac, his alligator to come through the door and attack from the behind as soon as the blitz began. It all would begin with a signal.

Morgo began to chant incantations and red runes began to appear in the sky in front of him. The runes seemed to radiate chaos, and the presence of chaos was almost tangible in the room. Morgo completed the incantations, and the runes flashed violently. From the flash came a golem, massive and wielding a large, heavy mace. "How dare you distract a predator from his prey! Be prepared to face the ultimate consequence swine," Morgo growled, and drew Denger's Talon.

Morgo then decided to give the signal. Focusing his energy, he created a bolt of lightning, again with a aura of chaos. The signal caused the massive golem to charge at the angel with a side swip. Xoac came in from behind and bit at his ankles. Morgo charged underneath the golem, with an over head blow, blood frenzy in his eyes

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 04:09 AM (GMT)
************
Tarkin walked down the dirt street of the small village, taking a deep breath in. It was so peaceful out here. The temple of Balance had been closed, infested with cockroaches or some thing like that. The priests had been quick to dismiss him. Cataraza, Ethari's dove, nipped at Tarkin's ear, and nudged him towards the inn. There seemed to be a commotion.

If Tarkin recalled correctly, Ethari would be at that inn! He had to hurry. Tarkin ran through the door way, and stood for a split second, mouth agape. Before him was a golem radiating of pure chaos, a alligator striking at Ethari's legs, and a orc charging for Ethari. Tarkin lifted his arm up, Cataraza flying away. Tarkin ran up to the orc with amazing speed, and dropped to the ground, holding him close to the ground with his right hand. He then pivoted on the hand and kicked his leg out, performing a sweeping kick.

***********
Ethari was shocked, the orc knew magic. Ethari could already knew he could use magic, he had sensed it in his presence, but he had no idea that the orc knew such a massive spell. Ethari had to act fast, for the golem was swinging its massive mace at him. The orc was charging in between the golems legs, but Ethari got a fleeting glance of Tarkin charging for him.

He would be a helpful ally. Ethari drew his diamond sword, but some thing caught his attention. There was a evil presence behind him. Ethari took off in the air, quickly catching sight of a alligator snapping at were his legs were. Ethari muttered a small blessing, giving Tarkin a sense of hope, and courage. Ethari then plunged down to the ground, his foot extended to kick the alligator.

Morgo Domanu - May 20, 2007 04:31 AM (GMT)
Morgo was approached by a man in garbs, and swooped down and did an trip kick. Morgo quickly sidestepped and shot a blast of choas lightning at the man .What was the angel doing, dragging other people in his fight. The golem's blow was avoided, and he smashed the wall in the side, causing an opening.

Morgo willed the giant golem to engage with the priest. Morgo quickly maneuvered his way through the fray, reaching the arch angel. When he arrived their, the angel was performing downward kick at the alligator. With great speed, Morgo pushed the alligator free from the blow. Xoac cannot get hurt, Morgo thought to himself. The angels kick connected with the orc instead, right in his stomach. Morgo felt pain shock through his body. He fell to the ground with a thump, and groaned in pain.

He got up with a groan, and faced the angel with a dirty snarl on his face. Blood trickled down the end of his mouth. Morgo wiped it up with the end of his hand, and spat in the direction of the angel. "Don't you dare hurt Xoac. If you touch him, I'll cut off your eyelids, and wait until your eyes dry out into raisins. I'll force you to eat them, and then severe each of your limbs. Of course, you will be kept alive. First, you'll bite your fingers off, but then I'll have to help you with your arms and legs. Maybe if you ask nicely, Xoac might help, too."

Morgo looked around, and began to add up the facts. This was a man of balance. "So, if your here to keep balance, good luck. Right now your about to see chaos in its strongest form!" he yelled. Morgo roared and charged. Right before he reached the angel he blasted four bolts of lightning, two to the sides, one in the middle, and one above, in case he dodged. Morgo then did an overhead slash, blood lust in his eyes.

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 05:49 PM (GMT)
*************
Tarkin almost succeeded in tripping the orc, but the orc was to quick. The orc had side stepped and then shot a blast of lightning at him. Tarkin rolled to the side , but caught a small bit of the lightning on his shoulder. He reached over and grabbed his shoulder, a burning sensation over coming his arm. As soon as he recovered, the orc had ran away towards Ethari.

That left him with the golem. If Tarkin recalled correctly, the summoning only lasted for ten minutes, but the golem would be invincible to normal melee attacks. That was unfortunate for Tarkin, for he knew no offensive magic. He would just have to stall for the ten minutes and hope that Ethari would deal with the orc and alligator.

**************
Ethari almost made contact with the alligator, but the orc had pushed it out of the way, taking the damage for the blow. The orc loved his familiars, that was for sure. The orc then slammed into the wall, blood leaking from his mouth. Maybe if you ask nicely, Xoac might help, too." Ethari kept his sword drawn, ready for a attack.

The orc charged with his hammer and sent lightning bolts on every side, and him charging in the middle. Ethari quickly formulated a plan, but involved some pain. Ethari moved slightly to the side, the lightning bolt hitting his left hand, but his sword still to the right. Ethari then lunged his sword forward, hoping to catch the orc off guard.

Dispater - May 20, 2007 06:03 PM (GMT)
It happened that around that time Dispater was in one of the rooms at the Kaima Inn. When he was still a vicious protector of Balance he used to visit the local inns of Arda pretty much because the creatures he used to hunt down were often choosing those buildings as their hiding places, they wanted to pass by as a common person. Mainly, they were creatures of other planes, demons and other similar creatures who sought to destroy the little balance this world still had. And who else could be trained into such campaign of hunting them down other than one of the few concordant killers scattered across the Multi Universe? And as a matter of fact Dispater is currently the only concordant killer walking on the realm of Arda. And he made quite a name in the criminal-rated areas of the grand cities especially in the inns, the bartender knew him, and in order to let them still run their pubs, they often paid him small services.

The building started to shake, the locals started to cry out in fear, and they all rushed through the front doors, glasses and bottles fell on the ground, shattering and producing a disturbing sound. A major battle was going on in the main hall of the bar, accompanied by a display of magic, this did not look too prosperous for the inn. The sound of the bolts of electricity echoed through the building and its rooms, threatening to set the wooden structure on fire. The owner of the inn seemed worried and threw a desperate look towards Dispater. “Please stop this madness, you will be repaid! Without the Kaima I will be lost”

It was not like Dispater cared about the bartender and that he pitied him in case he lost the inn, but a small reward sounded nice, and after all that’s what he did throughout his life, work for great rewards and major services from deities and other powerful entities, but lately he started to accept jobs from other people as well, since he suffered a major change.

Suddenly the door of the room slammed open, and the giant of a man: Dispater, emerged. He stood up to 6 feet and 5 inches tall, with broad shoulders and a hulking muscular build. His complexion was slightly dusky, his eyes red and his silver hair was very long, wild, and flowing down much over his shoulders. He looked like a demon in all its might, yet he was something much better than that, he looked able to crush anyone with his mere hands, but he was also skilled in the art of fighting with a weapon. One of his life-long passions was studying the creatures and races from different planes of existence, he was a walking encyclopedia, so orcs were not something he has never heard about, nor celestial beings. In fact half of his essence was celestial even if he didn’t look so, he once had a pair of beautiful feathery wings, but they were savagely ripped off and fed to the spider demons. Instead of them he had two large scars, and a bunch of recovering ribs.

Before his eyes, the most strangest fight of all that he has seen before was displaying, even an alligator was partaking it. Dispater shook his head, then cried out. “Take this outside, away from the inn! Or I will be forced to throw you through the exit myself.” He didn’t care which one was which, he just treated everyone equally.

Morgo Domanu - May 20, 2007 06:31 PM (GMT)
Morgo was awed by the image of a Concordant Killer stepping into the room. He had a demonic resemblance, with two large scares on his back. Morgo began to weigh his options.

Option one:He could try to take on all of the at once, with only the three for chaos, three for balance. No, that would never work, Morgo thought. He needed a highly deceptive plan.

Option two: run. He could sound nice, and order the angel to preserve the peace and fight outside. Instead of fighting he could run. But there would be no blood shed.

Morgo was blank. He then paused and it came to him. The golem was about to fade, his figure disapating. Morgo had to wreck havoc while he had him. Morgo willed the giant to use its mace to smash the upper stories. The golem responded, and boards, beds, dressers all came crashing down. The bar maid also fell, and landed unconcius. Morgo began to laugh as she groaned and lay motionless. The golem faded away in red dust.

"Angel," Morgo said, "Do you dare harm the well being of other innocent lives? I would think not. Meet me outside the town of Estolad in one hour. We will both rejuvenate our energy, and the epic battle of Chaos and Balance will continue." Morgo commanded. He walked out the rubble of the door, and said on his way out, "You can come, too" pointing to the newcomer. He walked out to the edge of the city and, awaiting his foe. He mediated, trying to gain as much energy as possible. If both of them came, who knew how much fighting he would have to do.

"I'm sorry Xoac, but you'll have to fight. Just don't die you little rascal," he said affectionately, rubbing the gator's head. It gave a purr of agreement, anxious about the impending fight as well.

Dispater - May 20, 2007 07:08 PM (GMT)
The muscular torso of Dispater seemed to rise and fall with his deep breathing, his red eyes almost ignited in a glow, empowered by the rage shown towards the two fighting inside the inn. He was stronger, much stronger than the slaughterer, much more prepared, he knew the orc’s weak spots, and he was trained in fighting all sorts of creature, good or bad, normal or abnormal, it did not matter, he used to be a planar hit-man and assassin. And he looked pretty imposing and intimidating, and that showed off, it had a positive effect for him, but not for the others.

The one who started to fight seemed ready to abandon, and resume the battle somewhere else, the words of the orc seemed like music to the killer’s ears, and they managed to quiet him down a little. Yet he had the same glare in his eyes as before, making sure everyone who wanted a fight to walk out of the building, before he will return to the owner of the inn, and reclaim his small payment, whatever that was, it did not matter, he had to live somehow.

The orc and his alligator walked out through the door, the fight was as good as over. Dispater’s gaze turned now to the celestial and his companion, his head tilting to the right side a little. “Are you also looking for a fight?” he didn’t know exactly what caused them to fight, he didn’t know that the archangel actually tried to save one of the women working on the inn. But the killer couldn’t be blamed, he was just doing his job, and if it was through tough ways.

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
Ethari turned and faced the new comer. He then pulled his hood over his eyes, and pulled his wings under neath his cloak. Ethari walked up to the bar maid and began to feel for a pulse. She was alive, but unconscious. The inn was in ruins as well. He muttered a small spell under his breath, and healed her wounds slightly. He wish he could help more, but could not.

As for the new comers question, he said "I do not look for fights, I look for ways to help keep the balance between peoples affairs. I do not wish to wreck havoc and cause destruction, but rather protect the world from it. I will go now, and eliminate the world of this threat, for he has killed many times before. You shall stay here, and nurse this women to safety. I beg of you that you do this, for she is the women that I wish to protect, and I will finish the fight in her name."

Ethari walked out the door, motioning for Tarkin to follow. They both left the inn in ruins, thanks to the destruction of the orc. Ethari sat down in the grass, and laid down, resting. The fight had been exhausting, and left him depleted of his energy. Tarkin took a seat next to him. "What happened at the temple?" Ethari asked. "Oh, they just had a infestion of some sort, the priests dismissed me quite readily." Ethari made a small nod of approval. He was thankful of the infestation, for if that hadn't happened, he would probably be dead.

After the hour was up, Ethari stood and motioned for Tarkin to follow. "I'm sorry you have to fight," Ethari said ", but your skills are to useful, and I'm sure he will have his alligator there, and there's no way that I could face both." Tarkin nodded, a grim look on his face. This would sure be the battle of their lives.

Dispater - May 20, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
Dispater nodded slightly to the words of the Archangel, and all of a sudden his body began to relax, this time the problem has been solved only by the usage of some words, he didn’t have to interfere into the fight as a third party, one against all the others. The combatants seemed to understand his reasoning, and instead of crumbling the Kaima Inn to dust they chose to fight into another place. Even if they were sincere and they contained exactly what Dispater wanted to hear, the words of the archangel managed to disturb him somewhat. He spoke about balance, no, as a matter of fact he was a warrior of balance, this reminded him of his old days, before he was altered by the taint of the Demonweb Pits, and without his allowance, memories came rushing through his head in a huge amount and a quick flow.

Eventually, the archangel and his follower who looked more like a priest like those serving at the temple of Threnoy also left the building, the only ones remaining in the building being Dispater and the passed out woman. The arachnomancer made his way to her, picked her up in his arms with a great ease, she seemed pretty light to him, and from there he made his way back into the room where the owner of the kaima inn was waiting. The woman was placed onto the bed, passed on to her employer, it was his job to tend to her now, Dispater just needed his repayment before he would leave as well. The owner wandered beneath his bed and pulled out a nice leather armor, crafted by a very experience elven leathersmith. “This is the only thing I have for now…But it should serve you well…” Dispater blinked, and looked at the armor, he didn’t really enjoy wearing armors but at least he could sell it or give it to someone else, it was better than nothing. So he took his prize and left the inn behind as well, going on to his next adventure. His life was a succession of adventures.

Morgo Domanu - May 20, 2007 08:01 PM (GMT)
Morgo glared over at the angel. He was prepared to fight, without honor, without mercy. He would use any means necessary to make sure this 'Harbringer of Balance' met his eternal end. Morgo spat at the ground near the angel.

The angel walked forth, and his follower at his side. Morgo hadn't had a good look at his face before, but now had a chance to study it closely. Under futher inspection, Morgo realized he had met this man before. Angband, the Iron Prison. There, Morgo was approached by a shape shifting oppressor, and had used an unhonorable tactic to kill the angel, which of course failed. He had been accused as a killer, due to an innocent killing just recently. Both meetings involved fighting.

Morgo began to speak, "Before the fight begins, I would like to speak with you. I have met you before, in the Iron Prison. Hmmm, familiar yes? But you did not have your lackey with you, just yourself. I think Xoac was there, perhaps. Well it does not matter. I simply wish to know your name. If we meet in the future, well, it seems we come across each other a lot, I would very much like to address you and your companion properly. I'm sure you get tired of 'angel' and 'lacky'. I know I do. Names would be quite useful. I am sure you would like me to introduce myself, would you not?" Morgo then began to tell them, not waiting for an answer.

"I am Morgo Domanu, Scourge of Arda, King of the Demented, well, self proclaimed King of the Demented." he said, bowing and outstretching his hand. He then pointed to his minion, "This is Xoac, my minion of chaos. And together we are the Contingent of Chaos!" Morgo roared.

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 08:26 PM (GMT)
Ethari let out a small laugh and grabbed the outstretched hand in front of him. "Why hello Morgo, I am Ethari Xilophent, ArchAngel, and Harbringer of Balance. Over there," he said, gesturing towards Tarkin," is a Balance priest, under the guidance of Therenody to aid me. And she," Ethari said, gesturing to the sky," Is Cataraza, my dove. Together we make the Band of Balance. Just in case you couldn't tell, I made that up to make fun of you, and your cheesy name."

Ethari let out a small laugh and took several steps back, a cold wind blowing. The fight was sure to commence soon. Ethari drew his short bow and muttered some arcane words, casting a blessing on the three of them. This would hopefully keep them at high morals during the battle. Ethari knew that bronze wouldn't win the battle, so he would need some good tactics to win the fight, and he knew that the orc knew this as well, so he was sure to have some tricks up

Ethari sent a magical net hurdling towards Morgo. He then fired a arrow to the orc's left, and Tarkin ran off to his right. The orc was trapped between the three separate attacks. On his front, Ethari's net was flying towards him, and if they made direct contact, Morgo would be trapped, and a easy kill.

It the orc was it by the arrow, it would sure cause some damage to him, and if it hit is weapon holding hand, it would be much more disastrous. And then there was Tarkin. If Tarkin managed to perform some martial moves on Morgo, it would severely fatigue the orc, and hopefully make him a easy opponent after that. Ethari then quickly sheathed his bow and drew his diamond long sword, and waited to see how the events unfolded.

Morgo Domanu - May 20, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)

"Why hello Morgo, I am Ethari Xilophent, ArchAngel, and Harbringer of Balance. Over there," he said, gesturing towards Tarkin," is a Balance priest, under the guidance of Therenody to aid me. And she," Ethari said, gesturing to the sky," Is Cataraza, my dove. Together we make the Band of Balance. Just in case you couldn't tell, I made that up to make fun of you, and your cheesy name." Morgo laughed at this small humor. "Why, you humor me. What fun is 'Balance' and 'order'? How plain?"

Morgo then was shot at by a magical net, and then Ethari ran to the side, and shot an arrow. Quickly, his lackey Tarkin ran to his other side. Ahh, a trap, Morgo thought. This is going to be good. Morgo knew that Tarkin had amazing martial skills, so he had to counter him fast.

Morgo drew Denger's Talon and focused his energy through the weapon. Then, he shot a bolt of chaotic lightning at the arrow. The lightning completely incinerated the arrow, and ashes fell to the ground. The lightning kept on moving forward, towards Ethari, who now had drawn a blade.

Morgo slide underneath the net, which plastered itself to a far off rock. Then, he placed his hands on the ground, and shifting his weight, Morgo slide to the side, and pushed up to face Tarkin. "EAT THIS!" Morgo yelled, shoving his mace's tip in a sideways, piercing motion, shooting a cluster of lightning bolts at Tarkin. Either way, he would meet steel, or chaos lightning. Both would be devastating.

Morgo then willed Xoac to come up behind Tarkin, and attempt to bite him, preferably to the leg. If he was paralyzed, the odds would be on Morgo's side. Morgo didn't have the time to deal with Tarkin, so it had to be done fast. He was obviously weaker than Ethari, who seemed a seasoned warrior. Morgo hoped this worked.

Ethari Xilophent - May 20, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
**********
Ethari was shocked, the orc had successfully dodged all three of his attacks. He had incinerated his arrow with one of his lightning blasts from his mace. Not only that, but he slid underneath the magical net and swung at Tarkin and launched chaos lightning. Ethari used his agility and flew right in front of the mace that was about to hit Tarkin. The two weapons made direct contact with each other and Ethari pushed his sword towards the orc.

If he succeeded in the grapple, he would knock the orc off guard, and then Ethari would counter attack. Ethari muttered some words under his breath and conjured a illusion. He used the spell to make it seem that his diamond blade was cloaked in flames, not any flames, but a bright blue holy flame. Hopefully, the orc would retreat, in fear of his mace melting, and making him easy for a counter attack.

**********
Tarkin began to shift to the right, knowing that the lightning bolts would be much less devastating than the mace. Then Ethari flew up, and deflected the mace blow with his diamond blade. Tarkin knew what he had to do if he wanted to help in the fight. He side stepped, the opposite direction from the lightning bolts, avoiding them and the blow from the mace. Just as he regained his balance, he saw the alligator, snapping at where is legs used to be. Tarkin ran up to the alligator and dropped to the ground and performed a sweeping kick move.

*********
Cataraza looked from above as the Beloved and the Loved fought the Hated. They were in intense combat. Cataraza began to send energy to the Beloved, and hoped that she could help make a difference in the fight.

Morgo Domanu - May 21, 2007 01:39 AM (GMT)
*****
Xoac knew that he had to fight Tarkin. Master needed him to be preoccupied. The priest did a sweeping motion with his foot, and Xoac quickly slithered to the side with a growl. Not many people can see an alligator in combat, but Xoac fought viciously for his meals.

Xoac then countered by jumping up towards Tarkin's face, and snapped.

*****
Morgo glanced sideways, and noticed Xoac entering combat. Normally, the gator was very unenthusiastic about fighting, he simply preferred ripping off dead limbs. But now, he was attacking and dodging. Good, Morgo thought, keep him busy. Now to take care of Ethari. He coated his blade with magical fire, probably holy. Morgo ignored it, it wouldn't affect Denger's Talon, whose chaos aura could over come any Balance spell. It was the talon of the prievous Guardian of War.

Morgo launched many more lightning bolts, in many directions. If he dodged one on the bolts, he would merely land in another. Next, he chanted some familiar incantations, with the same red runes appearing in the sky. They flashed violently, and out of it came a Raa Chaos Golem. It was larger than the last, becuase Morgo limited it's size to fit the inn room. This one nearly loomed at ten feet tall. Smash him, Morgo commanded.

The golem did an overhead smash, and Morgo came through, swinging his mace with fury.He slide to the side at the last second, trying to catch him off guard. He attacked to the left, which was different from his normal rightly attack.

Ethari Xilophent - May 21, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
*********
Tarkin had trouble regaining his balance after attempting to kick the alligator, sure that his attack would be successful, but unknowing that he would dodge. The alligator then lunged for his face, ready to kill him. Tarkin stumbled backwards and instinctly held his arm in front of his face. The gators teeth pierced the skin of his arm, and blood began to seep down his arm. Tarkin had to counter attack if he was to save his life, for the gator would surely not back down. Tarkin pulled his back down and did a back hand spring, his foot extended out. If he pulled the move off right, he would make direct contact with his foot on the gators mouth.

***********
Ethari stayed in his position, not trying to avoid the lightning bolts. He knew it would be pointless to try to dodge one, only more would be in his way. Ethari pulled his sword in the direction of the lightning bolts, the strong metals deflecting there shocks. After that, the orc summoned another chaos golem, except this one was much larger than the one in the inn, if possible.

Ethari knew he had to try to avoid the golem, for he knew that it was invincible to melee attacks, and he knew no offensive magic. Not only was the golem swinging at Ethari, but the orc was attacking him as well, and then quickly shifted to his side. Ethari was preparing to cast a spell, but the orc moved to fast, and swung at his sword arm, making direct contact, and leaving a grievious wound. As the orc hit his arm, Ethari tossed his sword to his left arm, catching it, and then swung at Morgo's side, able to use the sword with his left hand, due to his ambitxerity.

Morgo Domanu - May 23, 2007 03:23 AM (GMT)
****
Xoac was very pleased with himself, seeing he bit the mans arm. He appeared to be falling down in the alligators eyes, but in truth, he was doing a back handspring, foot extended to contact with the gator's jaw. Xoac attempted to slither back, but was unable to.

Tarkin's foot smashed into the alligator's lower jaw, which in turn smashed into one of upper jaw. One of his tooth cracked, and he bellowed in pain. He countered immediately, and ran and jumped at Tarkin, mouth agape, as high as his chest.

Morgo heard Xoac bellow from his fight. Morgo willed the giant to go assist him. The golem rushed over, and swung it's massive mace in sweeping motion
Morgo grinned as his mace made direct contact with Ethari's arm. Now he wouldn't be able to fight, and this would be a sure win. But to Morgo's surprise, he swiftly tossed the blade to his left hand, and began to slash with it just as well as his right. Morgo was unprepared for the move, and clumsily dodged the blow, but not well enough. The blade sliced at his side.

His shirt tore at his wound, and it revealed the open cut, blood oozing out. He gripped his side in pain. A sharp emotion pierced his thought, one of the first times he felt this emotion: fear. What if I die, he thought, I have to get out of here! Panic gripped him for one moment, but he gathered himself, and it quickly was replaced with revenge. He bellowed and charged, ducking before the strike, appearing to make an upward cut. He then shifted his weight to one leg, and swung the other and Ethari's shin.

Tarkin followed through with his back hand spring, finishing it. He then landed forward and pulled his head up, ready to view the combat situation, and was quickly caught off guard by the alligator countering so quickly, lunging at his chest. He also caught site of the Raa Chaos Golem swinging his mace for him. One swing from the golems mace would surely K.O him. He would have to take a risk with the alligator, and avoid the golem until it dissipated, or died.

Tarkin rolled to the side, out of the way from the lunging gator, and rolling past the mace of the golem that was swinging over his head.

Ethari caught glimpse of the golem moving away from the field of combat, and attacking Tarkin. Double teaming wasn't fair, well Morgo didn't play fair. Morgo ran towards Ethari, and attempted what looked like upward attack, but then fell low to the ground and attacked his shin. Ethari flew in the air, regardless of which move he would have performed, he could avoid it in the air. Ethari then flew down with his foot extended to kick the orc. He wasn't going to stab him, because if he missed, it would take a lot of time to recover, and leave him vulnerable to a counter attack.

Cataraza watched the battle from above, afraid of the out come. The Hated was a formidable foe for the Loved and Beloved. They were in intense combat, and neither side was winning or losing. She still sent some energy to her Beloved, and also sent some to the Loved, who was fighting two foes at the same time. She knew he would do well, for he was skilled in melee combat.

Xoac was surprised that Tarkin managed to avoid the dual attack. He was at first unaware of the golem's presence and aid, and then became angry when it charged at Tarkin. Why did Master think he could not defeat his foe himself? He was trained fighter, and had the passion to kill, he could handle the fool himself.

Xoac thought to Master, 'why did you think I couldn't fight him alone?'

Morgo's voice appeared in his head, 'I don't want you getting hurt, you know how much you mean to me,'. Xoac could hear the sorrow in the statement. Xoac sighed and lunged with a sideways snap at the mans shin. The golem swung his mace with a back hand strike at Tarkin.

Morgo grunted in frustration as Ethari dodged his blow. He was forced to follow through with his kick, foot spinning around. When completed he began to leap up,facing the angel, but was unaware of Ethari coming down with he foot to smash him in the face.

Terror filled Morgo. He was unable to dodge this one, his swipe to Ethari's foot made him unable to. Ethari crushed his face, and Morgo landed on the ground, and his back made a sickening snap. He tried to get up, but was unable to. Slowly blackness overcame his vision, and he lost consciousness.

Half way through his strike, he noticed Master fall to the ground. His back snapped, but wasn't broken, probably sprained. Xoac quickly stopped his attack and lunged at Ethari's wings from behind.

Tarkin rolled sideways, away from the alligators bite at his leg. He wasn't aware of the golem, who was using a back hand strike at him. He stood up at his full height, recovering from the dodge, and the golem's mace slammed right at his side with full force. His body flew across the empty plain and slammed into a rock, with a sickening crack. Blood spattered everywhere as Tarkin's vision became blurry, intense pain enveloping him. Therenody, protect Ethari from this evil, and ensure that he finds his way without my help. Good bye. Tarkin closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

*********
Ethari grinned, he had won the battle, he had defeated Morgo, he knocked him unconscious. Ethari landed on the ground and raised his sword in the air, proud of his victory. In the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of a giant mace being swung at Tarkin. Ethari heard a loud crack, and a grunt of pain. Ethari's eyes continued to follow the body of Tarkin, and he made contact with a rock, with another sickening blow.

A tear fell from Ethari's face, and before he had time to react, the alligator pierced his left wing. Ethari screamed and tore the alligators grip from his wing and began to fly towards Tarkin's body. He half walked and half glided towards the body and scooped him in his arm. "Ethari..... is that you?...." Tarkin muttered. "You'll be alright," Ethari said, a tear falling on Tarkin's body.

Ethari began to run away from the battle, with Tarkin in his arms, tears streaming down his face. He had trouble with material things, he lost his parents, and his only friend died, and now Tarkin could die. Ethari began to run to the city, hoping that Tarkin would survive.

Cataraza was filled with horror. She had witnessed the Loved be struck be a mace and the Beloved had his wing torn. She knew she had to help, and sent much of her energy to the both of them. She began to fly over head, towards were they were going.
