Luruk Blackarrow - April 23, 2007 08:48 PM (GMT)
Luruk took a deep breath of night air. It smelled sweet after the rain that day. He had wandered through it almost blindly for for hours, finnally arriving at Estolad. He had been here before and enjoyed comming again. The people here were kind to him, dispite his obvious apperance. He was just outside by the sky grew darker. He was running to get into the town. Evendentally some wild beasts had been seen in the area and they wanted to make sure none got in.

Just as the gates closed he slide in. He was faced by a row of spearmen. He knew some of them and they lower their spears. 'Sorry' One said 'thought you were one of those big cat things that have been around here.' Luruk shakes his head. 'Well' The man said 'Sorry again' And he went back to his post. Luruk Also walks away, down the street to the inn. He hoped they would have a room for him.

Luckey enough, they did. This was the first good thing to happen to him all day. He went to a seat, set his bow down next to him and waited to be served. When one of the barmaids came over, he ordered a beer and some pork. He got the beer right away, however he had to wait for the pork.

As he waited, he overheard two off-duty gaurds talking at the table next to him. 'So theres a band of 'em right here in town.' Said one. The other nodded. 'Who'd a thought? A small town like this?' This kind of talk perced Luruk's curiosity. "A band of who?" He asked. The second gaurd turns to him 'Thieves. They've set up a hideout around here.' Luruk nodded. [Prehaps I could help...however. Ill need more than myself to take on a whole band of 'em." He scanned the bar for anyone who looked like they could help.

He sat glumly at the wooden table a small candle burned beside him, he was gulping down the beers but it made no affect the happiness seemed hollow, the smell of smoke was in the air but it didn't annoy him like it usually did. he watched the Uruk-Hai enter but it did not make him angry, he was depressed it was easily to tell, he stood up, compared to most others he was like a giant looming over them, he wandered over to the bar and ordered another drink, it was a gloomy day so he was gloomy, there were many others in the bar dancing and singing happily, not his kind of night he started heading to the door when he noticed the Uruk-Hai again and stopped, by the Uruk-Hai it looked like he was a bounty hunter I wonder why he Is here he thought. He stared at him for a few seconds and dismissed the thought and sat back down on his table, there was a sizzle the candle had burned out.

Arthur Pendragon - April 24, 2007 07:31 PM (GMT)
Arthur had been in the bar playing on his musical instrument to get some extra coin for his journeys. He then ntoiced a rarity walk in the tavern. It was an Uruk-Hai or in his own words shadowspawn. He then noticed noone get up and wondered why. HE figured he must be trusted in this place but Arthur having little experine with creatures such as this thought all of them shadowspawn and made sure his sword was near just in case. If this creature proved evil Arthur would have no choice but to fight if not evil he would have to remove his view of these creatures and revise hius thinking whcih he was willing to do. HE started to play again and watched the Uruk-Hai out of the corner of his eye and waited to see what would happen.

Luruk Blackarrow - April 24, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
Luruk looked around. He saw some who looked like warriors, but he wasnt sure. He sat back at his own table to think of what to do. While he did the wiatress came with a pork leg. He took a bite out of it. It wasnt that bad. He could tell it wasnt fresh, but it was a meal and he was thankful for that.

He smiled to himself. [Now then. Lets see how many people here are willing to help.] He took a drink of beer and cleared his throught. He stood up and shouted "Any man or woman here looking to drive some thieves out of town, commer!"

He sat agian. He wasnt embaressed. He did it all the time when he needed people to work with. He continued to eat his meal and waited.

He looked up as the Uruk-Hai spoke, there were thieves in town hey, this should be fun, he stumbled over to the Uruk-Hai's table, maybe that was to much beer, he sat down at the table, "If you want to run them out of town I will help you and don't call me to drunk to fight" he said, the Uruk-Hai had been out in the wilderness you could tell by his gear.

Arthur Pendragon - April 25, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
Arthur laid his harp down and said," I will help you drive these thieves off, but knows this any wiff of foul play from you and you will meet a far more cunnign opponent than any theif". He did not hide his malice in his voice it wasn't that he didn't like this creautre it was that he didn't think he coudl truse him. He said," If you are willign to accpet my help than let us be off and drive those who would do evil from this village". He then awaited the creatures answer.

Luruk Blackarrow - April 25, 2007 12:30 AM (GMT)
Luruk stands and looks at the two. They looked tough enough. The human seemed ok. However this half dragon might be trouble. "Right..." He began "...you two should be enough. (To Arthur) And you. Just cause I look like a tall orc, dont mean I act like one. Your voice tells me that trust dont come easy for somone like me. But if your going to act, your going to have to follow orders from a Uruk-Hai. Got that?" Without waiting for a reply, he shoulders his bow. "common then, we havent got all night." He says, and starts out of the inn.

Arthur Pendragon - April 25, 2007 02:15 AM (GMT)
Arthur smiled and said," Alright let us be off then". Arthru slid on his leather armor and stuk his sword on his back and starpepd his Elven Lite sheild on his back and walked out with the creature and said," It is time to dance with death once more".

amedunk1 - April 25, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
He stumbled over to his table, maybe he had had to much to drink, he grabbed a glass of water and tipped it down his throat it might sober him up a bit, he picked up his buckler, placed his helmet on his head and grabbed his sword with his left hand, he realized there was frustration between the Uruk-Hai and half dragon, [I]this could not end well between those two, he exited the inn and steeped out into the rain, the rain bounced off his helmet making a soft sound as it echoed around inside his helmet. It was dark he might have to use infravision, but it depended where they were going.

Luruk Blackarrow - April 25, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
The Uruk-Hai made a sniffing sound. "Damn rain..." It was covering the smell. He looked around for any hint of thieves. He smelt the ordinary things; food, people, clothing. It would be hard to detect where the hidout was. But he had an idea. He took a gold coin out of his sack of money and took a sniff. Uruk-hai have stronger senses than normal orcs, which is saying alot.

He sniffed the air again. There was a huge amount somwhere to thier left. He starts that way. "Common...I think theyll have alot of gold by now. I should be able to sense it easy enough."

Arthur Pendragon - April 25, 2007 08:31 PM (GMT)
Arthr walked behind the Uruk-Hai watching everything maing sure nothing poppedo ut at them> WHen the creature stopped as the rain masked the thieves location Arthur smield as the Uruk-Hai sniffed a coin. He knew these creatures had betetr senses than any animal alive excepting that of dragons and a few other creatures. He said," True enough, hopefully". He decied agaisnt hsi dragon senses for now he woudl wait until the right moment to see if theives were near, dragons and half-dragons had a natural sense for gold and treasure.

amedunk1 - April 25, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
He watched as the Uruk-Hai sniffed a coin, it was like watching a dog looking for his buried bones, he looked around there were so many places where the thieves could hide but obviously the Uruk-Hai new something he didn't. "I don't think we have introduced, my name is Michaleson," he looked over to the half dragon he seemed to also know something but what he just could not tell.

Arthur Pendragon - April 27, 2007 11:57 AM (GMT)
Arthur followed the creature and heard the man behind him say something and he replied," Shhh they may hear us, but my name is Arthur Pendragon by the way, now be silent you don't track theives by noise". He had said that as quite as he could years of Dragon Hunting had taught him that to best hunt evil one must be silent as followed the creature he wondered where these thives could be or even if this was a trap.
