Title: Life As A Whole
Description: Music of The World...

Van Ashe - April 20, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
The sound of the unrested water was like music to the ears of Van, the constant movement all around him made him feel well moved and how ironic that was. The water rushing along the rocks crashing into whatever lay ahead, the animals flocking to drink, the plants swaying in the force of the wind and the man standing at the centre of it all.

Underneath the central waterfall a man stood silent as the world around him crashed against each other causing an epic of sounds. To the ears of Van it sounded like sweet music the animals the quite yet strong sting instruments, the plants rubbing against one another the wind instruments giving depth to the peace, And finally the water crashing down upon the rocks the dynamic and key percussion. The whole piece was complete all it needed was an audience. And Van Ashe was all but happy to be that audience standing in silent applause at nature’s true element. Passion!

Stepping forward he raised his head As the water crashed against his back, washing away his thoughts his worries and his pain. The numbing thud of the water onto his body drowned away the sweet music of the world, only the thoughts inside his head is all that he could here. His soaking wet brown hair flopped down no longer holding its former composure upon his crown, his deep flawless emerald eyes were now hidden behind his eye lids, the view of a fantastic world hidden from his mind. Standing with what felt like The strength of the world on his Shoulders, he still stood silent unmoved his bar back holding up this powerful weight, which none could see without a flinch. His mind was set on something else, something which needed the full attention of his mind, his body and the world would have to wait for him to come back to them, he was busy… he was in a meeting… he was in a dream…

The day was peaceful obviously. It seemed like no one nor nothing could ruin it. Thus the silence was ruined by a sound of slight steps. It was a female obviously. As graceful as no one else.....but not an elf. A half demoness and half shapeshifter strolled across woods towards waterfalls to get some peace. Her shoulder leangh red hair could be seen through the woods as they moved with wind as easyly as the water does. Her steps were steady......almost half steady. Fraylis was tired after hunting and chasing the past...the reasons of some events that she had to find out.

Fraylis finaly reached the waterfalls and stood nearby edge of the little lake beneath the waterfall. Her skin was no longer flawless..but still smooth.....still beautyful.....It had many little cuts...scratches and bruises from her last two 'adventures.'. Fraylis bent down to the water to wash the dusts and all her scratches no noticing the beautyful man standing near by. As she finished washing her skin, Fray stared off at the water. " Mother...." she whispered some. " Why is it so hard to find reasons of your death..." she sighed some as saw her mothers face on the surface of the water. It was smiling. Gentle as of a pirate.....She was always encouroging her....but now there's no one beside that could do it.

Van Ashe - April 20, 2007 06:49 PM (GMT)
The clear blue water fell down upon the back of Van, his shoulders going a tinge of red due to the constant hammering upon them by the never ending water. His mind was far from his body dreaming of a land far from the one he now stood upon a land where his mother came from, the land of the elves. He was banished from the land, a half breed was unclean and unwanted. Luckily he kept all his human features so he could blend in well with the human world.

Stepping back into the world of the living, the sounds of the crashing water flooded back into his ears awaking his body to the pain emanating from his back, he stepped back quickly allowing the water to crash back into the smooth rocks bellow and continue running down towards the pool below. Van looked down upon himself, he was drenched to the bone but luckily he only had his trousers on so he still had some dry clothes for later. He reached over with his right hand and touched his hot back, the little touch sent signals of pain rushing towards his brain making him pull his hand away quickly. He thought to himself ‘I must have been under there for a long time’ He smiled with his trademark smirk.

Turning around he faced the hidden cave behind the large central waterfall, across the whole width of the floor was Van’s stuff he wasn’t the tidiest of people as anyone who entered at this moment could see but his lifestyle did not need him to be a tidy person. Walking over past a burnt out fire hand a half eaten fish he reached a large rag, picking it up he rubbed it over his head then took a quick rub over the rest of his body. He then removed his trousers and placed them over a large rock to one side, placing his hand inside his backpack he pulled out another pair of trousers. Placing them on, he moved over to a slightly damp rock, ontop of these were his shoes which had been soaking wet the day before. Sitting down on the rock he didn’t mind the wet it was only slightly damp so nothing really as he was placing them on, he spotted something in the corner of his eye. A woman, staring into the water outside, was she looking for him.

He moved across the cave, moving slightly now he picked up his shortbow and quiver of arrows, placing the small leather strap over his shoulder he took one arrow from the quiver and strung his bow. As he moved silently out of the cave, he made sure not to move in the way of any waterfall otherwise the sound would change, being careful not to slip on any of the rocks he kept the strung bow pointed at the women.

Fraylis even being impulsive half demon, wasn't a person who'd rush into a trouble first. Anyways, she was staring at the water for a quit while untill her mothers face faded from the water. She so distrackted from any surroundings that only a dim siuete finaly attracket her attantion to direction where he stood. She casted her gaze at him through water not really seeing and slowly stood up backing away." Hello? Is anybody here?" she asked waiting for a response. Her eyes now watching surroungs and her allertness is on. " I know that you are there.....show yourself...." she told nearly ordering.

Van Ashe - April 20, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
He stood still, his figure hid behind the tree and brush that surrounded the lagoon, she could have only spotted him when he had moved over the rocks just before this moment. On the first call he kept walking his eye and bow fixated on her, but on the second he stood still the arrow placed directly upon her chest.

The wind blew though the trees, leaves fell from the branches falling down upon his body, one fell onto his arm as it stretched out holding the bow, with just a movement of his lips and a small exhale from his lungs he blew across his arm. He felt as the warm air passed over his still cold and wet body the leaf moved slightly but still lay on his arm. Still without losing sight of the woman he blew once again slightly harder, as the wind passed over it caught underneath the leaf carrying of down to the forest floor. As the wind played with the trees back and forth Van Ashe kept his bow locked upon her chest, right above the heart is where he looked for. Learned from his years travelling it was a hard place to dodge from, as there was flesh every way.

He took a step to the side opening himself out towards the elements and towards the sun, as its rays beamed down from above the lit up the bottom half of him showing no more than his chest. He wished this he did not want her seeing his face. Not until he knew who she was. He tuned in his eyes looking in more detail about her so far he had only glimpsed at her and knowing it was no one he knew he had moved. But now he looked on, she had long red hair and fair skin. A woman of good calibre it seemed, he smirked once more. He then shouted out towards the young girl to answer to her question!

“My name is of no concern to you! Why are you here?”

Fraylis Arden - April 21, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
Her grey eyes were still locked onto the siluate that they cought and never left it. She watched him closely with her skilled eyes able to notice every detail that could probanly be a sign of a danger or a success. " Well it's a free world isn't now, stranger?" she asced. Her voice tone was soft and firm and yet told that she like a wolf doesn't trusts him of yet. " Can't i be here?" She asked him. A gust of a wind blew stronger all of a sudden, being sign of a coming storm. Her hair could look even more beautyful and impressive moving in a wind. Soon the clouds became clouded as well. Van could notice that there were nany cuts and bruises upon her fair skin. " If you do think that i am here for you than you are wrong, stranger...but i won't tell ya who am i untill i won't get your name" she stated as her grey penetrating eyes still stared at his direction. " Does it...sound fair enough, huh?"

Van Ashe - April 21, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
The darkness of the clouds came over head, the sun’s rays slowly became blanketed over by the thick clouds. The darkness swept in from left to right, the darkness hid his silhouette and made him harder and harder to see inside the small grouping of trees. As he listened out towards the women’s words her voice hung in the air as only the sound of the wind whipping past the trees was all that was heard. The sound of the water ever drowned out by the mind of Van already nothing had to distract him. He took another two steps to the side, each one slow feeling over the ground before he placed his full weight down, making sure no branches sticks or animals lay beneath his foot.

As he did he passed behind a tree but made sure that when he stepped he stepped ever quick to make sure he always kept an eye on her, he was unsure of her purpose and why she was here. As she said it was a free place, but still it was out of the way no path led to this place. So it was odd that she was here now. He had spent the last week at this cave looking after himself after his run from a demon across the near complete width of Arda a massive long travel and not once since he had rested here had he seen another person.

As he kept his eye locked clean on the body of this young women, his right palm just pressing against cheek his fingers tense and prowled, with only a slight movement in them could send a arrow hurtling for her chest. But it was not needed at this moment in time, as his left elbow locked straight pointing forward his grip around the bow tighter than the jaws of a snake upon its prey. He kept his composure nothing in his body moved at all as his mouth opened wide to speak loudly so that the women on the other side could hear him past the strength of the waterfall’s crashing water smashing into the rocks below.

“Van Ashe Is my name...And Yours”

Fraylis Arden - April 22, 2007 07:19 AM (GMT)
The noise of waterfalls and the raging wind was rather loud but her half demonic ears coulght his name. A slight smirk came to her lips finaly hearing Van's name. Her eyes are still looking for him, her allertness allows to her catch each faintest sound he would made or a faintest glimps of a movement.....A mere mortal would be able to see a thin in such a darkness, but having blood of such a demon as her father, Fray could see even better. She would jump into a nearby tree and land behind Van but this time she couldn't do this just yet. Her body was early worn out and yearned for rest but Fraylis as always never shows it to anyone. " Well nice to meet you, Van Ashe!" she said finaly. Her voice is still firm as always it was untill gets to trust the person. " I'm Fraylis Arden......" she introduced herself.

Her skin already cought first drop of a rain and glanced at the sky as it started to rain. It wasn't a heavy rain at the moment but she knew it is gonna be such in a few minutes. " Well i think i'm going to find a shelter.." she said smirking some and closed her grey eyes to feel the rain on her bare skin. It seemed to wash away everything.....cuts....bruises....dusts and dirt......and any pain if she felt any....Her then slowly opened again as she glanced at his direction...." Why don't you show yourself? Are afraid of me or what, Van?"

Van Ashe - April 22, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
As the clouds above them darkened ever so, the light of the sun pushed away from the land they stood upon. The wind around them picked up swaying the leaves upon the branches back and forth, the branches themselves moved slightly from the ever gaining wind. The bushes around him rustled as the animals hid in them fled from the horrible weather to shelter. An animal’s senses much higher than any human, they could seem to sense the weather before it ever hit them. Van was always astonished by this somehow sixth sense they had. As he looked across the pool of water he kept an eye upon the young woman who still stood there looking straight at him.

As he kept his bow strung facing her body, his smirk still lay upon his face. As her voice rattled out over the small cove they sat in his eyes moved into blank state, here smugness was something much too great for someone who either had power or thought they had power. Lifting his leg upwards he moved it slowly back making sure not to step on any of the animals which were moving away from him. As his foot touched the ground he kept his eyes fixated upon her his arrow lined up perfectly with her chest still unmoved even when his entire body had moved.

Taking another step backwards he hid his entire body in darkness, for this moment in time. The heavens had opened and the rain had begun, he knew that he had to move soon or he would not be able to get back to his cave. He then decided what needed to be done he had to move, stepping sideward’s he crossed his legs over as he moved, his eye never leaving her, his bow never un-aligning an inch. He took four steps such like this each one making sure not to step on any of the moving animals which scurried around his legs. His feet also now searched for the rocks which would soon hinder his progress.

As he reached the edge of the small wood his eye had never left her, his bow still strung his arm still not tired after holding it back for so long, the training of a century had brought this strength to him. To his right lay the waterfall that he had just crossed to reach the wood, it was flooding the stones he stepped on before becoming ever smaller with each passing second. He smirked as he knew what he had to do next.

Slowly lowering the bow string back to its original shape he lowered his left arm moving out into the open, he showed the full breadth of his body to her. He shouted to her in answer to her question in his smug manner of a voice!

“I have no shirt on, mi lady. I don’t think you would show yourself with no shirt on to someone you had never met before. That is why I hid! Oh and miss Arden, I’m not afraid! But he is a question for you... Is there anything to be afraid Of?”

With that sentence finished he quickly drew back his bow, the arrow pointing for its mark. Letting go the arrow flew forward with extreme force, as it flew towards her it passed only inches above her head, making sure to distract her. And if she would look back she would find he was not there anymore.

Fraylis Arden - April 22, 2007 05:47 PM (GMT)
She hang onto Van's each word and smirked slightly as he said that has no shirt on. It quit amused her....and Fray became intrigued by this man...."Y say no shirt on, huh?" she said starting to approach slowly. As he showed up to herself she noticed Van being quit attracktive and figured him having elven features....also she she knew that elvs are very accurate and has greates agility in using bow and arrows......as he shot the arrow it's flying speed was increadible. But Fray sidesteped and pay only little heed to the arrow. Her eyes never leaving Van..." Trying to distrackt my attention, mister Van Ashe, huh?" she asked with a slight smirk.

Fraylis was into this 'date' too much and didn't even notice or just forgot that had a wound on her side that got during a little battle against some wizard and dragon togethe with Shadow and Dasyra. It was one day old and didn't heal yet. Fray eyes were still upon Van as she approached finaly him and gazed at his elven eyes whitch were rather beautyful." Why are you trying to avoid of me? I'm not ya enemy...." she said. Actualy she should avoid of him....but to tell the truth..Van intrigued her and curioucity took over her. She, even having streangh enough, looked so like she would fall down at any time, though tryed to stand her ground still ackting 'miss brave girl' like always.

Van Ashe - April 22, 2007 05:53 PM (GMT)
OCC: Um how the hell did you catch that arrow, its slgihtly impossible. There is a skill for it on her, but even then it says its still hard to catch an arrow. And form what i can see you don't have it. So in other words there is no way you could have caught that!

Fraylis Arden - April 22, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
ooc: pardon me if i did a mistake. But you said it's 'slightly' impossible it means there is still a chance to catch the arrow. But if it will make you happy, i will edit my post but later if you don't mind, ok?
