Title: Sulking Under the Sun
Description: <Open>
Doshada - October 25, 2005 05:39 PM (GMT)
Doshada lowered his hoof-like foot swiftly to the ground, crushing a batch of small flowers beneath it. Moments later, he crushed another batch with his next foot. He was taking careful strides, making sure to grind up as many flowers as he possibly could as he marched. He left his wings un folded and stretched to their full length-each one reaching just reaching...something. He had never bothered to measure his wings, though he know they just over half his size(horizontaly). The faint purple glow in his eyes that masked their true colours and apperance was pulsing brighter and faster than he ever remembered them. They will still dim, but it signified he was furious.
I'm sick and tired of this land! he mentaly spat. Everything is so...so green and lovely! Bah! If I inhale the scent of one more flower I swear I will... he let his thoughts trail off there, coming to a halt at a location he found appropiate to rest at. He calme dhimself, letting his eyes resume their normal rate of pulsing before kneeling down and neatly folding his wings. All his complaining and rambling was a cover-up, he knew. Truely he was angry at his race - something had happened to him and he'd been left in this forsaken world. He desperately needed to find someone or something that was as evil as him-or even better, a fellow demon.
"There has to be someone in this world!"he assured himself outloud. He mentaly scolded himself-the last thing he needed was a passer by to think he was a crazy Demon. He teared furiously at the grass and flowers before him with his claws - while they may not be sentient, they were alive. And if they were alive, he could manipulate them somehow. A half-smile flickered across his face as he tore away-he always felt better when he killed or manipulated something. His smile faded as he glanced at the horizon to see the setting sun. Most people would describe it as beautiful. He described it as wretched. He looked back down and continued to devestate the small patch of grass and flowers before him.
Kayora Dayia - October 25, 2005 06:48 PM (GMT)
Kayora strode across the great feilds and twirled her longsword smartly in the air. She was meeting someone in a city that required her to cross the grasslands and she didn't mind the detour. It was a perfect day for traveling and she felt in high spirits.
The human looked off to her right and suddenly heard, "There has to be someone in this world!" She stopped and listened more carefully then turned her head to see who had spoken. She immidiently regonized the features of a demon and felt a frown cross her face. Kayora nonchalantly strolled to where the demon was walking, leavin a path of broken flowers behind him.
"'Ello," she said with a smirk, not bothering to stop twirling her sword. "Lov'ly day, i'n't it?."
Doshada - October 25, 2005 07:02 PM (GMT)
"'Ello, Lov'ly day, i'n't it?"
Doshada was started by the voice, not realising how far his own must of carried. He brought himself to his feet and unfolded his wings, hoping to look more imtimidating, a talent he'd developed particularly well. He focused his pruple eyes upon the woman who had spoken. She was twirling her sword round expertly, and he was rather impressed.
"Greetings." he replied simply, analyzing Kayora.
"As for the day, I would say it is far from lovely. I would much rather see these fields burning and dead."He smiled sadisticaly, gesturing across the meadows as he spoke."However, from human eyes I supose it is a lovely day. May I ask, what brings you out here my lady?"
Doshada may of been a Demon but he found hints of politeness helped with his imtimidation techniques.
Kayora Dayia - October 25, 2005 07:26 PM (GMT)
Kayora chuckled at the thought of her being ladylike. "Well, arn't you a smoothtalka." ((she has an undetermind accent just to let you know)) Said the warrior, throwing her blade in the air and and catching it by the tip. She grinned at the demon then continued. "As for what I'm doin 'ere that really in't any of yer business." She winked then said, "But I'll tell ya anyways. I'm crossing through ta meet ma pal and discuss an important issue." Kayora looked down at the destroyed flowers behind the demon and asked, "Are you 'ere to just smush da daisies or what?"
Doshada - October 25, 2005 07:36 PM (GMT)
Doshada glanced back at his trail of destruction for a moment. He chuckled a harsh, low laugh with an eeriely hollow sound to it.
"To some extent I suppose, yes." This human woman was turning out to be un-expectantly friendly. Most people Doshada had encountered in his life detsetd his kind and wanted little to do with him. "I was here to...contemplate a few things. I found destroying this plant life a good aide in concentration." He bent down and picked up a single flower-one that had just about missed the edge of his hoof. Bringing himself up, he gently snapped the stem in half and tore the flower top off. "I'm also a tad of a...prefectionist." he continued, dropping the dead flower to the floor.
Kayora Dayia - October 25, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
Kayora raised her eyebrows slowly in an unreadable expression. She let her her sword fall out of her grasp and held it by the hilt before leaning on it like a walking stick. "I cin see dat." the warrior said, watching the ruined flower fall to the ground with a frown. "Well," she began casually. "Are you 'eaded the same way as me?" She shrugged her shoulders but had a mischievious look in her eyes.
Doshada - October 25, 2005 08:02 PM (GMT)
Doshada pondered for a moment before giving his answer.
"I had no destination in particular in mind, my lady." Doshada folded his wings neatly behind his back again. He reached behind his back(which was not an easy feat to acomplish given his features) and pretruded his staff. He twirled it round in a circular motion before embedding it in the ground slightly. He clapsed his left claw around it tightly.
"However, I suppose I may be able to find something of value at your destination or aling the journey."
Doshada was uncertain of exactly what was happening. He told himself he must of manipulated her without realising himself, which was what he believed exactly.
Prehaps this human female can be of some use to me after all. he thought.
Kayora Dayia - October 25, 2005 08:18 PM (GMT)
Kayora raised her eyebrows again and unsheathed her sword which she swung onto her shoulder. "Then let's be off," she said this unfathomably and began walking at an annoying slow pace. "By the way," she said glancing at him, "What 'things of value' are ya looking fer?" She turned and spat in the grass every now and then as they walked.
Doshada - October 25, 2005 08:31 PM (GMT)
Doshada followed beside Kayoraas they walked, half-mindedly landing his hoof-like foot harder where there were large groups of flowers. He used his staff as a walking stick, and he found her spitting in the perculiar, yet rather amusing to some extent.
"What 'things of value' are ya looking fer?"he heard her ask.
"Anything that could help me. Oppurtunities to get some necesities, prehaps some repair work on my staff.". He moved his hand lower down the staff, gesturing to the scratch marks on it.
"Prehaps also a few contacts that could help me in later life, or even a...victim or two." Doshada finished there, staring at the horizon and not giving a definition of his words.
