Yuuki - April 13, 2007 01:07 AM (GMT)
The smell of air made Yuuki's heart beat faster and faster. She was forced to do this torture but she had refused, twitching and shaking her head repeatedly. She had promised she was never going to do this. But she had to. It was a promise. Yuuki and a bunch of her friends Melody, Lori-Anne, and her best friend Amelia were forcing her into the water. Being humans...they didn't know her fear of water. Cringing she shook her head once more. Not in a million years would she even put her foot in the water for she was utterly afraid. As her friends made a "what are you doing?" look Yuuki just ignored them. She couldn't face them. Not at all. Slowly as time went by Amelia came up to her fiercely giving her another look. Yuuki hated her friends not knowing what she was up agaisnt. It just wasn't her nature

Why are you doing this? Just go in the water! It's like you're a cat for darn sake!" said Amelia impatiently looking at her with a fierce look. Yuuki didn't respond, her eyes just blinked.

A cat. Yep. She could feel her body sweating and. She was seriously scared. Going in the water was not her thing. No exceptions. Sighing her expression was blank but she had to explain them. Taking a breath she lingered longing than she should have. "I..just don't swim. I don't like the water..." she said gulping.

Her friends stared at her blankly. Bad idea. Bad idea. Backing away, Yuuki noticed Melody come closer to her and patting her back. "Don't worry if you can't swim. I'll teach you." It was hopeless. Besides the fact the water was fresh and the weather was perfect for swimming, warm Yuuki couldn't do it. Even in her bathing suit she couldn't use it to swim. She could tan though. Smiling she turned around happily and glad she had gotten out of this again.

"I don't want to. I'll tan instead!" she said cheerfully sighing of relief. But as then Amelia gave her another look, a fiercer one much more meaner than before. "No. Get in the water now! We don't want you to be a stinking wet blanket." she screamed dragging her across the lake line as she pushed her face into the shallow water her leg sticking up like a dead person.

Sputtering and trying to breathe Yuuki felt her head in the horrible water. Her nose was filled with lake water and oh...Yuuki would never swim again for sure. Getting up she ran to grass giving Amelia a glare. She sure hated swimming. Yup. She certainly did.

Sarain R' Kvohdi - April 13, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
Lake Aelin, a place where the children play freely and the fish are plenty. Surprisingly, it was Sarains first time at the lakes edge. He had spent most of his time in Lomedor, looking for contracts and completing them all within the city walls. This was a sight that made Sarain happy to be alive. The wind was warm and on the spies face, the sound of the water lapping against the shore helping Sarain to let go all of the tensions that had built up in his mind. He closed his eyes, breathing deeply and raising his head towards the sun.

The nature goddess is treating me kindly today.

Suddenly, the sound of a struggling girl woke him from his peaceful meditation. It was a fair ways down the beach, the sound travelling far in the silence of the lake. The spy looked over to them, standing by some rocks trying to get a girl to get in the water. The girl with red hair and a short, slim build was struggling as her friends tried to shove her into the cool water.

"I..just don't swim. I don't like the water..."

Her friends looked at her with sympathy, desperately wanting her to get in the water and have some fun.

Teenagers, they're so lucky these days.

Sarain looked back to his childhood, a human boy living with Lupines. He had no interaction with other humans until he was seventeen years old. It took him awhile to get used top them but he dealt with it well. he closed his eyes again, blocking out all distractions and focusing on the water. He had stepped into the water, bare-footed, and delighted in feeling the cool water slide by his tanned feet. He still heard the screaming girls but didn't bother making out there words. He knew that the girl would eventually dive into the water and have a fun time with her friends. There is no use in wasting the time you have while you're still young.

Rosato - April 13, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
At a far corner of the lake, much farher than the main path that led there, the young human Rosato sat under a tall tree with rough bark and leaves. Aside from that, he could'nt tell you what kind of tree it was. What he did know was that he defiantely enjoyed this little part of the world. It was peaceful, calm, quiet, and there was'nt a single errand to do... Well, considering he'd been down on his luck lately, the last of those was'nt all that grand, but the rest greantly appealed to him. He lokoed acros the glowing surface of the water, and sighed a bit. It was nice enough, in appearance, and he knew it'd be a fien day for a swim... But he was'nt quite fond enough of water to actually dive in. But despite that, he was quite enjoying himself under the shade of the tree.

"I finally have a chance to sit and rest," he said to himself, content and relaxed in both tone and expression. And closing his dark blue eyes with a peaceful sigh, he had almost let sleep befall him, when he started to hear a conversation... A rather distresfull one, mostly a group of girls, he thought. But no matter what was being said, he was too far down the lake-side to make out a word of it. And he had actually managed to ignore if for the most part, almost getting back to the same quiet state he was before, taking a deep breat and slouching down even more against the tree... But was completely awake after a small stream of distressed yells. With a disgruntled sound, he opened a single eye up and looked over to the source. He could'nt quite see what was going on, nor any more details on the group other than they were all female.... But apperantly one of them had recently been dunked, and did'nt enjoy it
in the least.

He almost considered simply laying back down, and continuing his moment of rest, but was slightly curious at what had caused the scream, and wanted to make sure if they'd scream any more, so he could decide if he should find another tree. So, with a small sigh of discontent and a grunt of moving after laying there so long, he slowly stood up. The light was a little harsh on his eyes, considering he had been in the shade and had his eyes closed for a good deal of time. Despite that, he still foudn it pleasent enough.

"I'll just take a polite walk over and talk to them," Rosato said as he brushed the grass and leaves off of his plain, green and brown clothing. "Ask them to please refrain from doing whatever it was that made the young lady scream." he stretched his arms slightly, and resting one hand on his hip, and the other lazily on the sheath of his knife, he started to take a slow stroll over to where the group of girls were. For the first time, he noticed another man. One apperanlty a good bit taller than him, with black hair. But he did'nt do much except give a friendly "Hello," as he passed, and kept going towards the farther shore.

Yuuki - April 13, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
Yuuki could tell by the instance she was causing attention. As her friends dragged her towards the grass drying her off and as Amelia lowered her head in shame and muttered a quick but definitely not a sincere sorry. As Yuuki sighed more she put food (fish her favorite food) on the towel as her friends snickered and probably called her a coward. Shaking her head she watched Amelia and her "posse" as she called them from now on, splashing in the water playfully. If only they could understand why I can't she said to herself munching on fresh raw cod that her mother made. As the girls gave her another stare why she was eating raw cod for lunch Yuuki ignored them. Amelia had been Yuuki's friend for a long time. But occasionally Amelia would mistreat her. When Amelia would visit her house, Yuuki would always serve her the same thing, fish. Getting picky, Amelia would refuse to eat the "garbage" and suggest another place, the place where Yuuki worked at. And oh, how annoyed Yuuki was! She hated Amelia with a passion but she never showed it. She hated how Amelia would treat her like garbage because she was different. And yet she never told how she felt to her, besides the fact that she would usually.

As Yuuki dreamt of a day where Amelia would respect her her eyes turned to a man with black hair closely watching her and the girls. Probalby just seeing how normal I fit in..yeah right. Taking one glance at him. she began munching as fast a possible as she enviously watched the girls play water wrestle. It was Yuuki's dream for her to even try to walk her feet in the water but she knew what would happen. Trouble. Remembering what her father said about the water she gulped examining the fresh lake for fish. No sign. What a mess it was just looking. The fish were far, far out there. And no way she would go there never.

Looking at the tree's she saw another man watch her but with a kinder face. As she saw him walk up to her, he heard him say a quick hello. Completely done chewing and swallowing the last delicous pieces of cod she smiled. "Sorry for the trouble, sir. I don't like the water that much" she said as her friends didn't even notice her. What good friends.

[Again not my best. :/]

Rosato - April 13, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
Rosato was having a good enough walk across the lake-side, taking himself to looking over at the other side of the water. From where he was, he could see just how green and lush everything looked, a change from the usual, at least. He did'nt pay quite as much notice to the water as he did what surrounded it, an odd thing for someone relaxing beside a lake. But still, the calm scenery and the sounds of playing in the water from in front of him was good enough to at least let Rosato smirk. Which reminded him.

Turning to look in front of himself again, he quickly spotted the girl that he assumed was dunked. Not too hard considering she was the only one not in the water now. He could tell she was eating something, and from where he was it looked like fish. Not really seeing any reason to look away, since he was only a few meters off now, he just rested his eyes on her and kept his steady pace, slowly making his way over..

Though, as she looked up directly at him, he took a moment to realise he looked as if he was staring at her. And awkward situation considering he usually tried to remember at least some of him manners, and not staring being one of them. But he was practically right in front of her now, so a proper excuse was pretty much out of the question. He was about to apologise to her, out of courtesy, but stopped once the girl started to speak herself.
"Sorry for the trouble, sir. I don't like the water that much,"she said, apperantly misunderstanding what he was coming over to talk about. He appreciated the fact she had apologised, despite it not being her fault, and that at least helped the situation.
"I appreciate it, but there's no need to apologise to me," he said to her, his expressin sliding back into his usual, content expression. "After all, by that scream, you did'nt drag yourself over to the water and put your head under."

Yuuki - May 6, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
Yuuki was having a day dreaming day. Besides the fact that she was quite tired and needed some sleep (and that her friends betrayed her), she yawned as she looked at the peaceful mountains far away. Imagine that. It was impossible to climb those mountains. In fact the only ones who had tried were much more braver than Yuuki herself. She was, indeed, a coward. Yuuki had always known she was. Ever since a child she was known as a coward. She was supposed to be courageous but oh that didn't work without a doubt. Her mother encourage her to be loud but never ever did Yuuki listen to her family. Of course close to her friends Yuuki was loud as ever, but with her family and strangers she was as a quiet as a mouse.Still watching the clouds her eyes turned around the watch the clouds. They were light, fluffy, and just weightless. Yuuki longed to be in a mood like this oh how she wanted to see the people day dream she longed for everything to come complete. The clouds were beautiful no doubt about it. The clouds had every single thing Yuuki wanted. But no she couldn't get.

As she sat her self in the grass waiting for the man's reply she sighed. This was going to be a long day.

[OCC: Omg. LATE REPLY. Crappy post. Oi.]

Ryule - May 9, 2007 05:22 AM (GMT)
Ryule walked along the shore. His white robe drifted slightly behind him, and with each graceful step his red sash, too, would silently wave about. As he walked, he stared at the water, so peaceful, so clean, so pure. The soothing aura that came from the lake calmed him and made him feel at ease. He brushed his hair out of his face with his hand only for it to fall back once his arm fell to his side. He chuckled a bit. "Stubborn hair..." He thought. As he lifted his head up to his resting point, he noticed a few unfamiliar faces not too far along the shore from him. He proceeded with a smile as he didn't feel threatened.

"Hello there," he said directed to the young girl lying in the grass. He croutched down "Who might you be?"
