Sticky hands were such a pain. Ithilwen sighed and finished off what seemed to be her fourth sweet bun. What could she say? They were yummy and besides..it was in the best interest of the city for her to consume them! Wasn't it? If she hadn't of eaten those..who would of? The 'random' thought of children came to mind and she shushed it, shaking her head fervently. It was best to not think of it at all! Then she couldn't talk herself out of her silly assumptions. A sigh crossed her lips as she rubbed her palms together, sapphire hues gazing upon the emptying streets for water. A small barrel of it caught her eyes and she leaped towards it, making sure that it was just a drain catcher and not..drinking water or anything.
"Owww," She growled as the water slipped across her skin, cleansing it of the syrup from the sweet pastry. It felt almost as if electricity was coursing through her finger tips. As soon as her hands were clean, Firekeeper withdrew them from the water quickly, drying her hands with a little heat. Once rejuvenated she turned her form to face the street, eyeing the partygoers as they left. Speaking of partygoers...what had happened to the man with the emerald eyes? She had caught scant views of him every now and then, but nothing really evident enough for her to keep track of him.
'Hmm,' Ithilwen hummed, narrowing her eyes a bit as she began to walk, reaching out with her senses for the smell of the man. Death was not a familiar scent in Lomedor so he should be easy enough to find. But unfortunately, the smell of sweets and ale and all sorts of other things from the party disoriented her senses. If only she could see him. Weird glances were passed her way..for it was evident that she seemed to be the only permanent straggler. Those cleaning up must have thought she was up to no good or something. She just ignored them. How many elves came around? Didn't they know their reputation?
After a long while of just wandering around through the central square of Lomedor, Dispater decided that it was time to sit somewhere and enjoy the rest of the show, and since he took a day off he should rest as well. That was something he almost never did, abandoning his cause for a day off, he blinked to the thought, he was not so open to new things as he wanted himself to be. But with a shake of his head he banished all the bad thoughts out of his mind.
But on a second thought he wanted to be away from everyone at the moment and contemplate at more important things, contemplate at his own persona, meditate, get in touch and in harmony with his inner being. He had to do that once in a while so none of the two completely opposites essences he was made would try to take over his senses, actions and feelings, he would remain a creature of the purest neutrality. No one could take that away from him.
He traveled through the crowd of people and soon escaped it, he didn’t look behind to see if someone followed him or not, but as soon as he was far away and the noise of the site was just a small buzzing sound into the background, he would be seen, sitting down at the base of a tree, with his bare back leaning against it. It should be noted that he was not wearing anything to cover his torso, only his lower half of the body. A strange robe that was, decorated strangely. His forearms were resting atop of his knees, and his glowing gaze directed somewhere into the far distances, his body was there, but his mind wandered to a whole new plane.
He couldn’t help but wonder who exactly spotted him in the crowd earlier that day, suspicious eyes would never ever escape his senses.
(Sorry for the shortness, I didn't know how to make my appearence into this thread.)
