Ithilwen sniffed the air rather wolfishly and cringed as she caught the salty scent of Lake Aelin. It caused her body to shudder, lithe muscles twitching in complete apprehension. She KNEW she needed a bath or at least a rinse to clean herself of the dirt and grime of the forest. But she absolutely hated the water. Any fire element did. If she stayed in it too long, she'd be completely zapped of her energy. The black wolf at her side snuffled against her palm and she glanced down at him. He was pretty dirty too, though somehow, despite his thick, shaggy black fur..he had managed to stay cleaner than her.
"Oh alright," The elf grumbled, stepping in the direction of the lake, boots making no noise upon the debris littered forest floor. Her companion padded along beside, occasionally making pitful whining noise if the girl started to slow in her pace. Man, he was such a nag. Why did she allow him to come along again? She couldn't quite remember..but he was there...always..biting at her heels to keep her moving. It wasn't that she was lazy or slow..she just liked traveling at her own pace. Most of the time she traveled at his.
"There! You happy my friend?" She mumbled as her form finally shifted through a break in the trees, feet sinking into the unstable shore of the lake. The moisture in the air caused her to shiver and cross her arms across her chest, sapphire blue eyes observing it derisively. Was she really going to get into that? And what about her privacy? She couldn't properly wash if she was worried about someone seeing. Her gaze drifted around the entire expanse of the lake, view focusing mainly on the tree line. She couldn't see anyone...and she was pretty sure that no-one was coming from behind her. She would have heard them if they did, right?
With a resigned sigh, she stepped to the edge and stared at the water before fiddling with her clothes. Warily she gazed around as she shed herself of everything but her undergarments, which were snow white. Once she was comfortable...seeing as no one had hopped out yelling at her...she waded into the water, shuddering almost violently at the cool feeling. This would have to be very quick. It was not long before she was in the deeper parts of the lake, only her head bobbing above the small waves.

The lake was a pleasent change of scenerary as he came from over the peaks of the mountain range, looking down he could see its great expanse across a large plain, he could even see the lush greenary of the forest's canopy across the other side.
His decent from the moutain range took him over an hour, it was a trecherous path, though it was clearly one that was walked alot, this specific part of the mountain being more eroded than the last part, the loose ground shifting beneath his feet as he walked, slipping from time to time with nothing to lean on or rely on for support, Arlen had nothing to do but go with it from time to time, though he finally made it to the ground finally, thankful for a more solid place to walk.
He paced slowly across the plain to the lake, the walk was not far, though it was painful, blisters all over his feet, swollen and red, hobbling he just about made it without giving off a scream of pain.
Slowly he brought himself down to the edge of the lake, fiddling with the leather binds on his boots that released them from his feet, he was thankful more and more as he dropped them in the water, soothing away the aches from his travels.
He had not noticed the other person in the lake, regardless, he did not care who they were, the lake was as free as it came.

Floating through the breeze, like a wayward feather, the silver ball of light swayed and tumbled through it's course, seemingly with no consent of it's own... Dipping and feinting the west winds took it on its wing, though the shining orb didn't seem to mind. It weaved in and out of the breeze, elegantly and fluidly; caressing the air, feeling it as if it were its own heartbeat. The silent whisper of the world, the gentle hands of mother nature.
Dancing along the blue black canvas the light circled about having its fun as a child would on a clear open night. It stopped, as if to pause, and surveyed the area, only a trail of glistening dust in its wake. The horizon was set with the mountains laying their path far from where she was now, it was a awe inspiring sight and one could truely enjoy it from the view with the clouds. The orb aglow, it began to pulse in thought. Perhaps sensing something.
Drifting down from its airy post it rode the gales down to the very bottom of the lush glen. The trees moved with every gentle push and the blade of grass bent to its will. Now somewhat stationary it waited in pensive thought, feeling the hearts of those near by... suddenly a wry gust took it from behind and carried it too far off for it to catch itself. The light was being carried around inceasingly, had no time to even recover. Quickly it started a unbreak-able barrel roll heading straight for the black glass top. Chirping madly it now started pulsing an eirie glow frantically trying to regain it's path. Continuing this downdraft course it finally ended with a soft splash in the water -- plip! There it rested and illuminated, now under the water's dark veil.

Ithilwen took a deep breath and immersed herself deep within the water, diving down as far as she could. Despite the crisp, freezing feeling of the water against her skin, she was enjoying it slightly. It felt good to know the dirt was being washed away. The only thing she dreaded was the feeling of being out of place when she exited the lake. For a while, she wouldn't want to do anything for fear of getting dirty. But she would have to get over that.
A small splash would be heard as the wolf she accompanied dived into the water himself, splashing around, diving, doing all sorts of things that one might think odd for an animal. He liked the water. He had grown up with it being one of his best forms of entertainment...aside from annoying Ithilwen that is. Soon he resurfaced and just happened to notice the person sinking his feet in the water. A soft growl escaped his form and he looked for his mistress as he began to paddle towards the shore.
"Woo! That's COLD!" The elf exclaimed as she resurfaced and shivered almost violently, whiping the water away from her face. Sapphire eyes chanced a glance over to where she had left her clothes..and it was then that she noticed the man..and her wolf swimming towards him. "Ah..Heh." She was not that far from the shore...fifteen feet at the most..so it was as if the man were right there.
Ithilwen stared at him for a few moments, before making sure to cover her chest...considering her undergarments were probably see through by now...and slowly started to swim to the side.

He had not expected such a sight to befall him now, infact he was oblivious to the entire presence of the woman and her canine, as he stretched down to rub his feet under the water, easing off some of the dirt from between his toes, he saw her.
Closing his eyes instantly he turned away from her, the last thing he wanted now was to be accused of being a peeping toe rag, alot of wizards these days had such accusations though Arlen was not one for all that.
"A thousand apologies maam, i really didnt see you there i am just here to wash away my weary feet"
He jumped up from the floor and swatted down his robes, removing the dust and sand from previous ventures, he saw the small pile of clothes and made way to them only stopping himself before actually reaching them, should he pass the woman her garbs or allow her get them herself.
His eyes followed the wolf, who seemingly did not like the new male stood so close to his mistress like that, his eyes darted back and forth between them, hoping that nothing would happen here.
