Title: Zenith Meria vs. Valdearg
Description: Nafalen's Tournament Round 1
Nafalen Sintelnor - April 4, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
The trees made a wall, an oasis. They blocked out the rest of the world. A large, but shallow lake stood in the center, providing a cool and refreshing drink to all those that happened to find their way into the ring of trees. The tall grass swayed in the gentle breeze that managed to make it through the natural barrier, hiding all the birds and wildlife that lived below its top. The field was set, contestants ready, judge prepared, the winner would move on. The one that was defeated would be eliminated.
The stillness, the serenity, the peacefulness, was all disturbed as the wildlife sprung to life. Birds of all types, pheasants, falcons, and more, all flew away to a safer place. They could all sense the approaching presence. The watter rippled as a dark form stepped into it. He looked down at his distorted, rippling reflection and smiled. The time had come for his tournament to commence.
The Drow Weapon's Master reached back into the long grass. He pulled out a large bulging sack and placed it by the water's edge. Quickly pulling it open he knelt down beside the sack. Reaching in, Nafalen began systematically pulling out various weapons, pieces of armor, rings, and more. He made two piles.
The first pile held a Resplendent Holy Countering Longsword, Threnody's Spite, a Resplendent Armor Set, Mithril Shield, an Exploding Potion, a Flame Dance Ring, a Ring of Jumping, a Ring of Feather Falling, an Amber Ring of Replenish, two Silver Bangles of Strength, and a Cloak of Neutrality.
The second pile held a Blade of Destruction, and an Anniversary Dagger.
Gathering up his sack, Nafalen left the piles at the water's edge and left the oasis. He climbed a nearby tree to watch the battle that he knew was about to ensue.
Valdearg - April 6, 2007 01:21 PM (GMT)
Stepping between the trees, Valdearg moved his head from left to right, scanning the field in case his opponent was already there. At first glance, the field was empty, but Valdearg didn't relax. The tall grass that filled the area would easily hide most people. Still seeming to watch in every direction at the same time, Valdearg made his way slowly to the smaller of the two piles. It seemed absurd comparing the two piles. His pile contained two weapons, while his opponent's pile contained weapons, armor, and various items that were probably magical in nature. With a slight sigh, Valdearg wondered why he had entered this tournament. Oh yeah, he needed some money, and the winner would be given a handsome amount of gold. Reaching down, he picked up his anniversary dagger and placed it in the small sheath at his left hip. Taking his Blade of Destruction in his right hand, he held it easily with the point angled down and to the left. With his items recovered, Valdearg was content to wait for his opponent to arrive.
Since he had just cast his polymorph spell before entering the oasis, he should have plenty of time, unless this fight lasted longer than two hours. For this occasion, he had picked a balance between strength and speed. Of medium build, Valdearg stood at about 5'10". Since he didn't want anything interfering with him, he was completely bald, with no facial hair. The only hair he had were his dark eyebrows that slanted downwards, giving him an appearence of always being angry. His eyes were the same golden color that they always were, which might end up giving him away as a dragon, or it might simply tell his opponent that Valdearg was not human. Either way, it didn't matter. If his opponent knew that he was a dragon, then that would probably make him more cautious. His black leather pants were loose enough not to be constricting, but not so loose that they would trip him up. A light blue wool shirt covered his chest.
Sitting down carefully, Valdearg closed his eyes, allowing his other senses to take over the job of observation. A cool, refreshing wind blew slowly across the oasis. It was relaxing to simply sit there and feel the wind. Sitting as he was, he could have been mistaken for a monk if it weren't for the blade that he held across his lap. With his eyes closed, he might have been taken for an easy target, but anyone who tried to attack him would find that he was more than ready to spring upward with the speed of a striking snake. His hearing was exceptionally keen, meaning he would hear anyone approach before they actually got to him. A slight smile came to his face as he rested a hand on the blade of his sword. That weapon held a few surprises for anyone he had to face. Still... Thinking back to the items he had seen his the other pile that was his opponents. Judging from what he had seen, the person he would be facing would be a force to be reckoned with. Also, the man had a complete set of armor, while all Valdearg had was his skin. If worse came to worse, he would have to fight this as a dragon and not as a man. Well, he would worry about that when it came. Letting his head fall until it rested on his chest, Valdearg hummed an old draconic song to himself, waiting for his opponent to arrive.
Zenith Meria - April 6, 2007 10:25 PM (GMT)
A tournament, which is exactly what the Arch Angel of Life needed to take his mind of the recent events in his life. He had been told to head for the Outdoor Training Arena in the Grasslands for his first battle in this great tournament of battle skills. Of course the only thing Zenith Meria did not like about this tournament so far was that he had to hand over the items he would be using in his match so that they could be placed in the fighting area, in one way at least this meant both people involved in the battle would show up so that they could obtain their possessions again. It was not long until the angel had gotten to the Training Arena only to see a wall like formation of trees before him, with a smile spreading across his lips the angel set off into the trees weaving his way through them until he came to a clearing.
Another man was sat within this clearing, most likely the opponent of the angel for this first round. The man seemed to be at peace for now so Zenith left him be for the moment, turning his head the white winged angel seen his possessions laying upon the ground. His smile soon became a slight smirk as Zenith headed off now in the direction of his weapons and armour. The first thing Zenith began to place onto himself was his Cloak of Neutrality that had been shaped into the form of a top the angel would wear underneath his golden armour, the next thing to be placed on was of course his glimmering golden Resplendent Armour, soon the angel had all parts of the armour on his form except from the helm which still lay upon the ground at his feet. The next thing the angel placed onto his person was his magical rings, the Flame Dance Ring and Ring of Jumping were slowly slipped onto two fingers on the angels left hand while the Ring of Feather Falling and Amber Ring of Replenish were slipped onto his right hand, the two Silver Bangles of Strength however were clipped on around the wrists of Zenith Meria.
There was not much left for the angel to place onto himself before the battle now, he picked up his Mithril Shield and strapped the finely made shield onto his left arm so that it acted like a Buckler in battle. Now all that was left to be placed were the angels’ weapons, his Resplendent Cloak of the Gargoyle and lastly, his Exploding Potion. Picking up the Potion first Zenith placed it inside one of the pockets on his Resplendent Waist Guard, next was the Resplendent Cloak, which the angel quickly placed over his golden armour so it would be ready to use when needed. Letting out a small sigh Zenith turned to face the other man before he said, “I apologize for the wait. I did not think it would take this long, but I shall be done very soon Sir.” Once saying this Zenith picked his Threnody's Spite up from the ground and quickly placed it into a holster on his left leg, once doing this the angel lifted the Resplendent Helm from the ground with his right hand and moved his hair with his left as the angel placed the helm upon his head, with the Helm now in place Zenith said a single word that seemed to active the magic within his armour, all the parts of his Golden Armour magically linked together so that there were no gaps to be seen anywhere. It was now time for the first round of this Tournament to truly begin!
Turning to face the person he was to face in this round once more Zenith smiled below his helm, his right hand wondered over towards the only item that still lay on to ground, that item being the angels most prized possession of all, his Resplendent Holy Countering Longsword which he had now named Salvations Judgement. Raising this mighty golden blade to his side Zenith said, “Now that we are both ready let us finally begin this battle.” After saying this Zenith tilted his blade slightly, the golden blade, which was a combination of a powerful Holy Blade and Resplendent Countering Longsword, seemed to glow slightly as the light from the sun above passed across its form.
As Zenith waited on the reply from the begin in front of his he began to think to himself, “Well.. Although this tournament is still fighting it shall be a nice change of pace knowing that I can actually have fun in these battles. This is what I needed, a nice break from my life, and a little fun for once! I can’t wait for this thing to begin!” With this thought in mind the angel could feel his excitement raising more with every moment that passed by, this would indeed prove to be both interesting and very fun for the Arch Angel of Life. May the tournament start!
Valdearg - April 9, 2007 05:03 AM (GMT)
His song stopped abruptly as he heard someone approaching. Soft footsteps on the grass made just enough noise for Valdearg to hear them. Opening his eyes, Valdearg blinked owlishly, fixing his gaze on the man he was to be fighting. The first thing that caught his eye were the man's wings. So, he was to fight an angel was he? That would simply make it more interesting. An angel would be stronger than a mere mortal man, and he was probably a more accomplished spellcaster also. It appeared that whoever was arranging this tournament was placing two of the stronger contestants against each other in the first round. Well, that simply meant that the two of them would not defeat everyone else before confronting each other. With the knowledge that his opponent was an angel, Valdearg's confidence dwindled slightly. This might actually be harder than he had thought. Still, at least he wouldn't have to worry about the angel "accidently" killing him. From past experience, Valdearg had become a pretty good judge about who was likely to try and kill in a tournament. This angel would be one of those who only killed in self defense. Well, that was alright with Valdearg, as he didn't plan on trying to kill anyone.
Narrowing his eyes, Valdearg watched as the man went through his pile of possessions, donning his armor and picking up all of the enchanted items. Honestly, Valdearg was surprised when the angel apologized for taking up his time. It wasn't as if they were operating under some kind of time limit. "It's no trouble, make sure that you are ready to start, don't forget something just because you didn't want to make me wait." Valdearg let his head fall back down, listening to all the sounds that the angel made. How could the angel hope to move silently when he wore a full suit of armor. All of the pieces kept hitting each other, making soft "clinking" noises. When you added all of the enchanted jewelry, Valdearg had no trouble pinpointing the angel even with his eyes closed. Valdearg kept his face impassive as the man activated the magic of his armor. Letting a curse fly around in his head, Valdearg realized that this was going to be harder than he had thought. Now the man was covered from head to toe in armor, there were no gaps. Well, at least now he wouldn't have to worry about harming the man.
Standing up in one fluid motion, Valdearg stretched his arms out wide, loosening up a few muscles that had been motionless while he had sat on the ground. He only partially listened as the man proclaimed his readiness to begin the battle. Turning so that he was facing the angel, Valdearg stood there for a second, simply looking. "My name is Valdearg" At least he wanted to go into this knowing the name of the man he was to face. Raising his blade, Valdearg gripped the hilt with both hands as he prepared to begin the tournament. Well, I might as well start things off. Snapping the blade from right to left, Valdearg concentrated, summoning up the latent magic of his weapon. A beam of energy fired from it, shooting towards the angel. Letting go of his weapon with his left hand, he raised it high above him, shouting a quick spell. A sound like thunder filled the air and a column of fire raced downward, aiming at the angel. The tournament had started, it was time to see what this angel could do.
Zenith Meria - April 14, 2007 03:25 PM (GMT)
The Arch Angel was ready for the tournament to begin. All of his equipment was ready for the battle ahead, and he was rather surprised by the person he had to face in this first round. In a Tournament such as this Zenith Meria had thought all those he would face would b e somewhat arrogant fools, but this man Valdearg seemed to be level headed from what Zenith had seen as of yet, the only thing the angel could feel was the power within his man. Valdearg was no mere human, Zenith knew that for certain anyways. The angel once again looked straight towards the man he was to face, his eyes narrowed from below the golden helm of his armour. It was then that Zenith heard the man say to him, "My name is Valdearg" nodding at these words the angel said in reply, “I am Zenith Meria. Good luck to you Valdearg, may this battle be one to remember!” Once his words had finished Zenith tightened his grip around the hilt of Salvations Judgement, he was ready to battle anytime now and was looking forward to seeing how this first match of the Tournament would not only end, but also begin.
Valdearg was the one to start things off in this great battle by firing a blast of magical energy from his Blade of Destruction, as the blast of energy drew in closer towards the form of Zenith the angel raised his own sword and instantly a blast of Holy Magic shot out from its tip. Both the chaotic blast and the holy blast connected with each and thus cancelled each other’s power out. Only then did the angels’ eyes lock back onto the form of Valdearg who was now casting a spell at the angel. With a thundering sound filling the air Zenith Meria looked above him and saw a great column of raging flames falling down at him, in an immediate reaction the angel pointed his free left hand towards the air using one of the powers he had learned from the Goddess of Life Lothlómendil. That was when a shimmering light appeared just above the angel blocking out the spell cast by Valdearg from hitting him body, this Shell ability was one that came in very handy for the Arch Angel of Life.
Still holding the blast from hitting him Zenith then very quickly jumped back, thanks to his ring of jumping, his Shell ability cancelled itself but luckily the angel had managed to avoid the impact of the spells blast as it connected with the ground just a matter of feet in front of him. Looking back up towards Valdearg the angel then said, “Nice first attack my friend, now, however, it is my turn!” Zenith took hold of the hilt of Salvations Judgement in both of his hands and then set off at a run towards Valdearg at great speed although suddenly Zenith vanished from sight.
The angel had used his Teleport spell to appear right behind Valdearg and had quickly aimed a powerful swipe for the torso of the man he was facing. If this attack was to infact go through Zenith had a feeling it would greatly hurt since the man had no armour was so ever on his body. Then again the angel had a feeling lingering in the back of his mind that this Valdearg would not be taken down so easily, Zenith had heard tales about this man after all and none of them seemed good for the angel. There was something very different about Valdearg, but still Zenith was not able to quite place what it was.
Valdearg - April 15, 2007 04:18 AM (GMT)
Valdearg couldn't take his gaze away from Zenith Meria. Something in him wanted to see how Zenith would deal with his attack. From what he saw, it seemed as though Zenith's sword was similar to his own, although the power behind the two blades where vastly different. Valdearg's blade was of chaotic origin, meant to be weilded by those beings who sought chaos and any way to bring it about. From what he knew of the angel so far, Valdearg doubted that he was a chaotic being. When the angel defeated Valdearg second attack with an obviously powerful ability, Valdearg let out a low curse. Zenith was very powerful, and he obviously knew how to defend himself adequately. If that barrier that Zenith had made stopped any magical attack, then Valdearg's spells wouldn't be very useful. Of the few spells he knew, the only one that wasn't offensive was the spell that allowed him to appear to be a human. Wear him down, that's all I can do for now. Valdearg was going to have to rely on his endurance and strength to defeat Zenith. Magic obviously would only enter in as a distraction. The real strikes would all be physical.
When what was left of his flame strike spell ended, Valdearg calmly faced Zenith, a small patch of burned ground now between them. Turning slightly to his right, Valdearg let his right leg fall backwards a bit until it was at an angle to the ground. Bringing his sword up, Valdearg held it in both hands, diagonally across his body from right to left. When Zenith spoke, Valdearg nodded his head slightly in aknowledgement of the compliment, but he didn't take his eyes off of the angel. Forcing his muscles to remain relaxed, Valdearg calmly faced down Zenith's sudden charge. The move might have fooled a novice fighter, but Valdearg doubted that someone as skilled as Meria appeared to be would make a straightforward assault like that. To do such a thing would be an insult to Valdearg's skill, and from what he had seen, Zenith Meria respected that fact that Valdearg was no novice. Therefore, when Zenith suddenly dissappeared, Valdearg was not surprised. In a split second, Valdearg had to decide which way to move.
In that slight instant that he had, Valdearg dove forward into a roll, feeling the presence of the angel appearing behind him. A line of fire trace its way across his back as the tip of Zenith's blade scored a hit. It was a stinging blow, but nothing major. Coming out of the roll, Valdearg planted his feet, stopping his momentum instantly. Spinning in one smooth motion, Valdearg leapt back at Zenith, bringing his blade up in a powerful swing from his left side. If Zenith didn't block this blow, then Valdearg hoped that the man's armor was made of either mithril or adamantium, as those where the only two metals that the sword could not cut through. And the damage would be worse that a simply cut, for if the blade managed to hit Zenith, then another magical ability of the sword would be activated, and a small explosion would occur. If Zenith failed to stop this blow, then Valdearg was going to be greatly dissappointed. The angel had all that pretty armor and those enchanted items, and he couldn't even stop one blow from a sword. If that happened, Valdearg planned on completely destroying the angel's body, not even leaving a trace that Zenith Meria ever existed.
Zenith Meria - April 16, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
The battle was now fully in play and Zenith was still not letting his guard down even a tiny amount, his attack had been almost fully avoided by this man known as Valdearg although the tip of Zeniths blade had managed to cut into the beings back slightly, blood now trickling down the length of the golden blade. With his feet now planted back upon the ground Zenith took a defensive battle stance, and one that could easily be pushed out of and into an offensive stance, yes although the angel was no matter at combat he had learned many different attack patterns as well as various different stances.
Not even ten seconds had managed to pass before Valdearg had swiftly, yet steadily, turned back round to face Zenith and pushed himself forward in a powerful striking attack up from his left side. With the formed of this man drawing in closer and closer towards Zenith the angel began his defensive movements quickly in order to block the strike from making an impact upon his golden armour set. Twisting his hands, and thus the blade within them, Zenith managed to place his sword in just the right place to block the force of Valdeargs’ attack, although the angel had not been expecting the effects of said magical blade and was rather shocked when a small explosion occurred.
The small explosion had a rather forceful punch behind and in turn had caused Zenith to let go of Salvations Judgement, the golden blade falling lifeless onto the ground as the sparks from the earlier impact fell around it. Very quickly Zenith had to move, he used his wings to shift his body placement away from the Blade of Destruction before pushing both wings hard in front of him. This sudden force of the angels wingspan against the air not only let Zenith be pushed back away from Valdearg but it had also served a second purpose as the dirt from the ground below had been forced into the air. With luck the burst of dirt that had been thrown up towards the face of the angels opponent would be enough for him to sort out what he was going to do.
His sword was but a few feet away from where he stood but for now Zenith had another plan, quickly and forcefully the angel pushed his right hand out towards where Valdearg was, not words left his lips but yet a spell had still been cast. It was one of Zeniths more powerful spells, and was most useful for both attacking and attacking as a distraction although in this certain case the spell would act as both an attack and a distraction at the same time, what was the spell you ask? The powerful spell known simply as Holy. With the burst of magical energy creeping closer and closer for Valdearg Zenith had to quickly set up his second plan of attack.
It was now time for Zenith to call upon the power of his Gauntlets of the armour set as they allowed the angel to return any weapon owned by him back into his hands no matter where in the lands of Arda that item may have been, with a bright light appearing in his right hand Zenith once again set on another attack on Valdearg since Salvations Judgement had been returned into his hand. Zenith had not seen exactly how effective his Holy spell had been on his foe, or if it had effected him in any way at all for that matter.
Using his powerful white wings again Zenith glided along the ground and towards the left side of Valdearg, as he moved the beating of his wings were sending up more and more dirt which in turn would cloud the vision of Valdearg, or so the angel hoped anyway. Seeing the moment to strike Zenith changed to position of his wings in such a way as to push forward for the form of the Chaos sword-wielding enemy. Once he was in close enough the angel raised his blade up from the ground to the air in a diagonal strike from his right, his target was known other than the arm in which this man held onto his blade with. If Zenith was able to take out the proponent hand of Valdearg then he may just be able to get an advantage as the battle moved on further.
Valdearg - April 18, 2007 05:09 AM (GMT)
The ring of metal on metal was music to Valdearg's ears as Zenith managed to bring his own blade around to block Valdearg's blow. A wicked grin split his face as he saw latent abilities of his sword take place. The small explosion had probably startled Zenith more than hurt him, but nevertheless, it was enough to make the angel drop his powerful sword. Thinking to take advantage, Valdearg pressed forward, planning on getting in a few blows if he could. Unfortunately, Zenith moved backwards, using his wings to get away in time. Glaring at the angel, Valdearg swiftly ducked his head down and covered it with his arm so that he wouldn't get sand in his eyes. In his haste to get away, Zenith had unknowingly (or perhaps knowingly) kicked up a large amount of dust. Valdearg groaned slightly as he felt the dirt getting in to the cut that traced its way down his back. He was going to have to do something about that later, otherwise he had a good probability of getting an infection, which would put him out of action for several days at least. Valdearg had never had something like that happen to him before, but he was pretty sure that an infection along a cut that stretched across his back would not be a good thing.
Lifting his head slightly, Valdearg looked around, hoping for a glimpse of where Zenith might have been. The dust was obscuring his vision, so at the moment he had no idea where the angel was. Holding his blade upright in his right hand, Valdearg turned slowly in a circle, hoping to pierce the cloud that was blocking his vision. The situation was not in his favor, Zenith had all the time in the world to come up with something, and if Zenith attacked, then he could come it at almost any angle. Occasionally Valdearg lifted his eyes directly above him to see if there was any glimpse of the winged figure. Still looking, Valdearg was unprepared for Zenith's spell. He had half a second's warning before he was slammed in the back and sent sprawling to the ground. Somehow, he had managed to hang on to his sword, so as he forced himself to his feet, he brought the blade up once again. Wincing slightly, Valdearg could feel a trickle of blood flowing down his back. The blow had opened his wound more, yet another thing he would have to deal with.
A flash of moment off to the side warned Valdearg of what was to come. Spinning that direction, Valdearg spun his blade around, bringing it up to block Zenith's attack. Jumping backwards, Valdearg felt his frustration building. The dirt was a nuisance, and the wound on his back was itching. Taking a few more steps backwards, Valdearg reached up and sheathed his blade of destruction. "Enough of this!" Snapping two fingers, Valdearg ended the polymorph spell. Loud pops filled the air as his bones began rearranging themselves and growing larger. Two wings erupted from his back, spreading outward to a tremendous length. Starting at his head and moving downward, scales began covering his skin, locking together to form the armor that would cover his entire body. Falling down on his hands and knees, Valdearg watched as his hands became clawed and more muscled. He felt his face elongating as his teeth became sharper and more numerous. Finally, his tail grew out, powerful enough to knock down a tree with one blow. Raising his head up, Valdearg let out a roar that seemed to shake the sky. Flapping his wings, Valdearg took to the air, ready to begin the battle on a whole other level. It was time to see just how skilled Zenith Meria was.
Zenith Meria - April 18, 2007 03:14 PM (GMT)
The dirt being thrown up by the wings of the angel seemed to be very effective in putting his foe off even for a few moments. The blast of Holy had also been very effective as it connected with the back of Valdearg opening up the cut that Zenith had made on his back even further. However the strike from Zeniths blade has missed its target as Valdearg had managed to block the attack with his own powerful sword, another small explosion happening at the blades clashed against each other. Zenith was ready for the blades latent effect this time and had managed to keep hold on his sword.
With the attack blocked Valdearg had then jumped back away from Zenith and spoke a few simple but very effective words. Hearing said words leaving the lips of this man Zenith felt a wave of worry fall over his entire body, slowly Valdearg raised his hand into the air before clicking his fingers and ending a seemingly powerful spell that he had placed upon his entire body before this battle had started. Only once this powerful being before Zenith had ended his own spell did the true form of Valdearg begin to show, it was, as Zenith had feared! This man was definitely not of a human race; his bones started to grow and click into different placements upon his bodies form.
Watching this all happening the angel landed his feet back upon the ground and raised his blade holding onto its hilt tight within both of his gauntlet covered hands. The horrific sight before the young angel was causing him to large a few steps backwards so that Valdearg’s new form would have room to stand, and also so that he would not be instantly crushed by the even increasing body mass of this creatures form. Within a matter of moments Zeniths eyes fixed onto the true form his opponent, it seemed that Valdearg was actually a full-blooded Dragon. In truth the angel had only ever faced one full-blooded dragon, sure it had ended in a victory for the angel with the dragons souls being sent into the dire depths of the underworld from whence he came but that one battle all to long ago has also drained Zenith of almost all of his energy, infact it had taken the angel over a week to fully recover from his lost of energy. He could only hope that said experience would aid him in this new battle that had just been placed before him, for over time Zenith Meria had learned to conserve his energy in order to obtain maximum usage out of it.
Still taking in the true form of his enemy Zenith thought to himself, “Worry not Zenith, for the power of Life and Light burn deep within your heart! You can do this, just trust in yourself!” Only then did Zeniths eyes change from the worried look that had befallen them and turned into one of pure courage. He would not give up so easily, and for some reason he knew that Valdearg would fully understand that fact. The large and powerful wings of the dragon began to crash against the air and soon he had taken for the skies, taking a deep breath of air into his lungs Zenith tried to pass over the now small percentage of worry than ran through him. Within a matter of moments the Paladin beat his wings into the winds of Arda, the might white feather ripping through the air and sending Zenith airborne once more, his target of course being the large mass of the dragon not to far above himself. All the angel could hope for was that his speed and agility would outclass that of the dragon known as Valdearg.
The scales that covered the large form of Valdearg would indeed be very hard, if not impossible, for the blade of the angel to break through, however Zenith knew the one section of a dragon that he would be able to rip into, that of course being the dragons underbelly since it would a lot less armoured than the rest of his form. Heading ever closer to the dragon Zenith thought of what spell he could use in order to best this beast in battle. Then it hit him, the perfect spell to use at this time on Valdearg in order to test the power of his newly formed draconic body, the spell used was Blade Sentinel spell. Still not having to use any words or even actions to cast the spell four large, three-bladed disk like objects appeared around Zeniths body. The angel used the used the power of the spell to force all four of the blades right at Blade Sentinel.
Two of the blades headed for the dragons wings, one for each of course, while the other two headed for his body. Out of the two heading for the dragons body one was aided to rip into Valdearg’s underbelly while the other whipped itself round aiming for the scales on his back, the strike on his back was only to test the power of this foes scales. As these blades quickly flew through the air, ripping the winds that surrounded it as it moved, Zenith was drawing in closer for Valdearg but since the angels spell was already testing out the power of the dragons body the angel took another approach on just how to attack Valdearg even more in this short space of it.
Where was this other attack going to be placed? The answer to that was very simple, Zenith was going to aim for the dragons’ eyes! There he was just a few feet in front of Valdearg in the air looking right onto the dragons form. Not having yet seen the full impact his blades had on Valdearg, or even it they had managed to hit at all, Zenith changed the angle his wings were set at and thus starting speeding towards his foe. Salvations Judgement golden gleam drawing even closer, then at the very last second Zenith changed the way his wings were set once more, the sudden change pushing the angel upwards and above the beast of a dragon, at was at this moment that his attack was let loose. With his blade pointed down at the man, or rather dragon, he was to face in this first round the Arch Angel of Life fired forth another forcefully blast of magical holy energy from his blade, the blades latent effect hoping to strike and rip into one of the dragons eyes. With the heat of the battle becoming more intense by the second it would seem as thought ever the Valar would have a hard time calling the winner of this battle!
