Title: Stranded...

Lord Naz Elendor - March 23, 2007 08:29 AM (GMT)
Five days into the burning desert,Elendor was running out of water and food very fast.He was now a shadow of his usual self.It had been almost a fortnight that he had left Yomenïampa, the Elvish kingdom and he had rested there and had learned of Angband at the North. It used to be a prison once,by the forces of darkness and now it was abandoned. The elves had told him that there was a secret library chamber in Angband taht contains very ancient scriptures, believed to be captured at the beginning ages of the world by teh dark forces. Some of teh scriptures are very magical, created by the Valars themselves.However..there was something else that interested Elendor. It was the fabled or legendary Three Prophecies.Legend goes that the Goddesses of Life,Light,Nature,Earth and Wind devised a holy scripture, containing the prophecies of every creature that lived or lives. The prophecy however was stolen and rumours circulate that it fell under the hands of the forces of Darkness.Lost for ages,it was considered a myth rather.Angband was the perfect place for Elendor to learn as muc has he could about his enemies.

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 23, 2007 11:23 AM (GMT)
Elendor was obviously dragging his feet every step he made forward. The air was dry and moistureless. The sun was shining as bright as ever, so strong that one would believe a hoax that there was a river in the distant past on the desert that was evaporated and sucked by the sun. Suddenly a voice was heard, Look who's here laughed Nesh Psion Spartan. He was right behind Elendor. Nesh had met Elendor in a pub in Lomedor before and that was where he last spoke to Elendor. So you are still alive? joked Nesh. I am here to do a little research on the sand that is here explained Nesh, looking around at the golden desert sand. They say the desert is blessed by the Gods...the sand here if used to make weapons or build houses would contain some uncertain magical properties...anyway setting my tale aside...what brings you here weary traveller Elendor? asked Nesh...

Lord Naz Elendor - March 24, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
Elendor had decided to stop for the day,as darkness was gathering to rest before setting off the following day.As he found a spot for him to sit,he spotted a stranger from far,as he approached nearer,he recognised him as Nesh Psion and stood up to greet him."Why...we seem to bump into each other very often don't we?I have a slight suspicion...you might be a private stalker..employed to see what I might be up to.."he joked and laughed. He looked down at the golden sand and looked at Nesh, slightly taken aback that he came all the way through the desert to research and said,"That tale I never heard before..I see no reason why would one want to build their hosue using this hand..which would make the inhabitants only burn alive in summer..but folks always had a reason to come out with such tales..as for me been here..I am headign towards Angband..looking for a certain, ancient library."

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 24, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
Library? Who's fairy tale is this? asked Nesh. Nesh then filled the last bit of his bag with the sand around there. He was done with his sand collection. Though the bag was filled with the golden sand, it weighed very light as if it was a bag of feathers. Perhaps, now that im done with my stuff, would you mind if i follow you? I mean angband is not a very safe place as well...suggested Nesh.

Lord Naz Elendor - March 25, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
Elendor eyed Nesh as he finished filling his bag with his last bit of sand and replied,"Did you know that Angband used to be an ancient Elven Kingdom...that's before the Dark Forces captured it of course..and sure you can follow me..I am sure it's not going to be very safe in there.."

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 25, 2007 04:20 AM (GMT)
Nesh was glad that Elendor allowed him to follow him. So they started dragging their backpack and their feet through the energy absorbing golden sand of the desert. But Nesh had plenty of resources and so they shared water and elven bread with each other. He knew that its gonna be a really rough night as the monsters of angband were fearsome beasts. Soon night fell upon the golden land. The desert was a weird place. In the day its hotter than mount doom, but in the night it was as cold as the northern mountains. But Nesh enjoyed the chill of the night as it helped cool down the heat of the day. Soon they reached the outskirts of Angband.

Lord Naz Elendor - March 26, 2007 02:50 AM (GMT)
Soon after, they both set off towards North. The journey was rough with sandstorms a regular occurance and they had to duck each other they occured or risk, losing their possessions. The weather was condemning as well..with scorching sun in daylight and freezing cold in the night. This only slowed down their progress. They stopped each night to rest, and it was a good thing,Elendor found a companion,as they had enough food to share and water to last them till they got to Angmar. One morning when they woke up,Elendor looked North and spotted some mountains and he looked around to Nesh and said,"We are near..Angband is beyond that only..."

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 26, 2007 05:12 AM (GMT)
Nesh looked up beyond the mountains as Elendor explained that was where the ruins of Angband was located. Soon night fell again after another scorching day. By now chill filled the cold walls of Angband. Yes, they have reached the ruined city of Angband. It looked like a very high tech city, with extensive drainage system and brick houses. But the ruins were empty and even air was scarcely found such that they had some difficulty breathing. Ok so this is Angband, so where should we head towards my friend? asked Nesh facing Elendor, as he heard a beast growl behind him...

Lord Naz Elendor - March 27, 2007 04:50 AM (GMT)
That very night,Elendor and Nesh set off towards the mountains and after climbing it,by noon they had reached the outskirts of Angband. The buildings were ancient and darkened with an extensive drainage systems, deemed high tech for a city such as this.As they were roaming around the ruins,Nesh asked," Ok so this is Angband, so where should we head towards my friend?"Elendor heard the growl of a beast and smirking he said,"Our destination lies beyond...we should find the iron gates."

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 28, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
There is the iron gates! exclaimed Nesh as he saw a huge rusty metal gate as tall as the ancient tower in the east of arda. But now the sound of growling got amplified, and it was uneven and came from all directions. Nesh stared into the darkness around him. Undeads...bloody zombies said Nesh to Elendor as he drew out his katana. This going to be one hell of a night said Nesh as he pounced towards Elendor and stabbed an undead that was behind him. Careful friend if they bite you, you become one of them...cautioned Nesh. He then ran into the darkness and started slashing the undeads...

There is the iron gates! exclaimed Nesh as he saw a huge rusty metal gate as tall as the ancient tower in the east of arda.

Elendor gazed up and down the iron gates and heard a growling sound followed by the sound of bone crushing as Nesh crushed a zombie. He turned aroudn and saw that they were indeed surrounded by many zombies and undeads."Ah..this is my area!"he remarked and casted his Rebuke aura around him,and watched the zombies and undead getting confused at the holy spell and he took out his Katana and got to business, slashing as many as he could.

Nesh Psion Spartan - March 29, 2007 05:58 AM (GMT)
Nesh and Elendor started to slash and chop the undeads. Nesh used his magnificent shield to knock off alot of the undeads. As they were busy fighting, Nesh exclaimed,'' Hey i think these creatures will keep on coming...we betta get moving on...i think all those people who lived in Angband before had been turned into undeads...if we are bitten by them we too will cursed into an undead...lets give em a final blow and then run to the iron gates...after which we can lock the iron gates so that these cannot enter. Nesh then with all his strength and agility stabbed as many undeads as he could and turned to run straight towards the Iron gates...

"Alright!"Elendor shouted to Nesh over all the noises of the undead and his Katana smashing on them.He started retreating towards the gates, his Katana slaying as the undeads kept coming closer,he could see their power geting drained as they entered the aura of his Rebuke spell. As he approached nearer to the gates,he dashed as fast as he could towards the Iron Gates.
