Title: The Exiled Spartan Psion arrives...
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 18, 2007 06:03 AM (GMT)
The huge moon hung upon the dark skies, the clouds illuminated slightly by the light of the Port Adune which was as busy as ever. Nesh Psion Spartan stepped out of the ship that brought him from a land that no one speaks about. Yes, he is a direct descendent of the last spartan to have roamed earth. His mother was an elfish Psion. Both his parents died in an unspeakable accident. Dark his tale was, Nesh Psion Spartan was walking on the pathway towards the port central. The grass was cold and covered with the night mist. Here comes a man, who has something installed for middle earth...
Domynic - March 20, 2007 04:35 AM (GMT)
With a brief sigh, Domynic stared out at the ocean from his perch on a beam under a dock, just a few feet above the water. The salty-fresh air filled his lungs as he breathed, and the crashing of waves on the dock sprayed a mist on his cloak. Ships were coming and leaving, each taking or bringing their own adventures or adventurers.
Running his fingers through his hair, Domynic noticed that he had stayed long past the sunset. His cloak was nearly soaked with the mist, and his palms were becoming raw from holding the supports. The ocean was so calming, yet so chaotic. Domynic could lose himself in it so easily....
Too easily. The elf sneered at his own weakness. Always losing his mind in the little things. Never quite careful enough.
Domynic checked his longsword and other belongings to make sure nothing had fallen into the water and climbed up the dock. With his agile elven limbs, the task was far from difficult.
All of the fishmongers had closed their shops, and only a few ships were still arriving and departing. Feeling a rumbling in his stomach, Domynic started towards the port center, hoping that some shop or tavern would still be open.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 20, 2007 05:31 AM (GMT)
The night was cold but the heat of the busy port overwhelmed the mist, producing a puzzling environmental effect of heat and cold. Nesh swayingly, walked down the alley to see labourers rushingly unpacking goods from ships, waiting to complete their night shift and run back home for a good morning sleep. Among all these hassle, Nesh Psion saw a man, built and tall, walking as coolly as him. Not a worker, a wanderer perhaps thought Nesh Psion Spartan. Nesh came to Arda to complete what was told to him back in Valindor, a neighbouring continent. Nesh needed to build a company or fellowship to complete his mission. Can this guy be the one I am looking for asked Nesh to himself as he approached this man.
Domynic - March 21, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
His hunger mounting, Domynic quickened his pace towards the port center. His keen elven eyes darted around in search of something to eat.
Another weakness, he thought. Hunger must not be allowed to consume me.
A long, almost sickening growl emitted from his stomach again. Domynic stopped for a moment, focused his thoughts, and...
Scents of bread, meats, and other cooked foods caught his nose. There was more than one way to conquer hunger, and one of them was simply to eat.
About one hundred yards ahead was a stand manned by a burly man. He is willing to stay out at night. Probably a reasonable fighter. More trouble than he's worth. I'll just have to pay with coin rather than threats. Domynic sauntered up to the stand and checked the prices quickly.
"Out late, huh?" the man asked.
"The same is true of you," Domynic retorted. "I will have a loaf of bread and some jerky."
"Very well." The man gathered the food, Domynic set a few coins on the stand, and the man handed him his bread and jerky.
Those were the last silvers in his coin-pouch. He'd have to find a job somewhere. But work was so hard to....
A man, perhaps part elf, by the look of his ears and his step, seemed to be following him down the street. Great. A perfect accompaniment to my meal, Domynic commented to himself.
Domynic checked his longsword, then continued eating his meal. He slowed his pace so his follower could catch him easily, and shoved the rest of his food into his mouth, chewing like mad.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 21, 2007 05:50 AM (GMT)
The man that Nesh was approaching was obviously slowing down. His hands were sliding down his sides reaching out to his long sword. Nesh understood that the man thought that he was going to be attacked. ha chill my friend, if i can address you as such, My name is Nesh Psion Spartan a distant venturer...this is my first visit to Arda...im here on a private mission...i see that you are new...If you are interested...we can go into that inn and have a little chat...i can show you wonders...mentioned Nesh.
Nesh walked further down the street and reached a run down building. It stated Ardan port Inn. He clutched onto the rusty handle and opened the door. He entered the Inn, but left the door open...
Domynic - March 24, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
As the man came up on Domynic, the elf readied himself. His muscles tightened and loosened to get his blood moving, and his fingers started twitching with anticipation.
"Ha, chill my friend," the man said. Domynic only frowned; his hand remained near his longsword.
Domynic replied, "I do not know what requirements you have for friendship, but apparently they are far fewer than my own. I suggest you be on your way."
Domynic started to walk away, but then the man said, "If you are interested...we can go into that in and have a little chat...I can show you wonders."
Domynic turned and gave the man a disgusted stare. He was prepared for a fight, which he hardly thought he was getting.
"Are...you..." Domynic's voice quavered. "Are you saying that you're a prostitute? Show me wonders? What is that supposed to mean? I don't know what customs are where you come from, but I am personally against the practice of such things."
It was true. To submit to desires was weakness, one that Domynic refused to permit himself.
When the man started down the street, Domynic was still frozen. When the man entered a building, the elf found the presence of mind to turn and run in the opposite direction as quickly as his feet would take him.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 24, 2007 04:08 AM (GMT)
Nesh almost entered the inn when he heard the guy call him a prostitute. Anger filled his veins and valour was pumping with every beat of his heart. He pulled out his katana and pounced upon the man and brought him to the ground, slamming hard. For Nesh, a main with so much of glory, the man had insulted him. He pointed the katana at the man's throat,'' look dude, I am an evil soul from the temple of darkness, under direct orders by the greatest dark lord Raku...I am considering to bring a new member to the dark side and so i called you in for a fair deal...proposal...but my sword shall not tolerate such blasphemy from you...said Nesh coldly. He then turned back without looking back and walked into the building...
Domynic - March 25, 2007 10:19 PM (GMT)
((Look, my character was gone. No matter what you do, Domynic is not following Nesh into that inn. What you did is called power-playing. You took control of my character by ignoring the fact that he was running away and tackling him without giving me the chance to respond to the attack. I'll go along with it for now, but my character is leaving after this post. Don't expect another reply.))
While the man had Domynic pinned to the ground, the elf studied his features. Yes, definitely half-human. His breath reeked of human stench.
Domynic kept quiet as Nesh made his threats. Domynic preferred neutrality to joining the "dark side," even against the wishes of the "greatest dark lord Raku." When the man let go of Domynic, the elf stood up and waited as he watched Nesh enter the inn. The moment he was out of sight, Domynic made note of where that inn was, and ran in the other direction as quickly as possible. He would not be returning to that particular street any time soon.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 26, 2007 04:52 AM (GMT)
[ooc: sorry man, i did not mean to powerpaly actually...i actually according to my script ran back to you and pinned you down and your are free to do anything to me too...like hit me back...im a dark side member and i have to be lil rough...but anyways its ok if you dun wanna reply...]
Nesh was walking towards the inn. He then regretted harming that person for he could have made a very good ally of the dark lord. Neither did Nesh expected him to return for the person was probably having a bad impression of Nesh. Damm said Nesh as he whacked opened the door and entered the inn...
