Title: Reflections
Description: Open to all
Silvaris - March 3, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
Lothemadel stared at his reflection in the clear blue water. Soon his reflection become warped as an orange fish darted across the water. The scent of salt and sand was begining to become covered by a terrible stench. A massive cerebus walked over growling. Its three heads each snapped at Lothemadel.
Lothemadel knew what he had to do. He began chanting inaudibly and ectching silver, magic runes into the empty space. Two small dire cougers appeared. Very small but fierce, unlike the true and dire couger, these were small with dull claws.
The two began pouncing and lunging at the cerebus. The fight began to grow more and more vicious. Lothemadel walked in and attempted to smash the cerebus with his staff. Too preocupied to notice the wizard, the staff made direct contact to the left most head. A terrible crack was heard as blood stained his white robe and staff.
With one head limp and two others howling in pain while viciously snapping at the two gryphons and Lothemadel, choas was becoming even more increasingly present. The two cougers fell limp, blood staining their lackluster coat. This fight was to much for them. Slowly, the magic binding them to this place began to fade. Gray beads of arcane energy began to float in the air and caused the gryphons slowly fade back into their home plane.
So now, it was Lothemadel against the two headed cerebus. It pounced towords him. It dragged its fallen head as if it were some kind of dead weight. Lothemadel quickly dodged the jump attack. Quickly sidestepping, he smashed the back of the cerebus. It howled in pain as its back became broken. It rushed back into the trees and disappeared back to its lair.
Lothemadel was panting heavily. He was getting to old for this. He sat on a nearby rock and sat, as sleep began to overcome him.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 21, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
Nesh Psion Spartan was walking through the dense forest. The trees in the forest were unusual. They had very thick trunks but the trees were very short, the tallest being less than ten metres. The entire place had a strange aroma. It was a sweet smell like honey but was too strong for anyone to enjoy. Nesh noticed that the smell came from the flowers on the trees. The flowers were huge and was made up of exactly eight petals. It was bright orange in colour and had black stripes on it, resembling a tiger skin. Nesh then recollected that the trees there were named Cat's bark.
As he turned to face the intital path he was walking along, there was suddenly a change in the atmosphere. A growling sound could be heard it was getting increasingly louder as if something came approaching him at very high velocity. The stench of fresh blood was also polluting the refreshing air around him. But Nesh realized that the sound was not of an attacking beast, but was the sound of a weeping animal. As the sound grew very audible, Nesh hid himself behind the bush. Then he saw a huge cerebus pounding forward. It had three heads but one of the head was dangling by its side. It was probably attacked by something, or rather someone. The cerebus stood infront of the bush where he was hiding. It was sniffing the air around it. Nesh gripped tightly onto his katana. Suddenly something very unusual happened. The dangling head of the cerebus fell down and turned foul black. But he noticed something. A new head was growing out from the headless wounded part. The cerebus was roaring violently as it felt the pain. It took about a quater of a hour for the head to fully appear. Then the again three headed cerebus ate its own previous rotten head that was on the bloodied ground. It then lept forward and ran swiftly away. Wow what a wonder thought Nesh to himself.
Only then, he realized why he came here for. He came to visit the lake as it was said to be filled with healing properties. He started walking along the same path. As he reached the end of the forest he saw bright light shining directly onto him. The lake stood infront of him shimmering with grace as the sunlight reflected on its surface. He turned to his left and saw a man. He was sitting by a rock, almost in a state of unconsciousness. Nesh thought the man was fainting and ran over to him. Sir you are alright? asked Nesh...
Tyrant Cecelia - March 25, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
Cecelia had ran out of healing potion, which her mother would mix together from the water in Lake Aelin with some of her own healing herbs. She was walking through the forest when she came across a boy and a elderly looking man. Cecelia ran up to the boy.
"What has happened?" She asked. Looking at the unconscious man. The first thing she thought was that the boy had struck him down. She looked at the boy waiting for his response.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 25, 2007 08:48 AM (GMT)
[ooc: me boy? Im a man Lol...]
The man was still unconscious and his face was pale white. He was in some kind of agony. Nesh noticed that a girl ran towards him and asked him what was going on. He was being attacked by some creature here...hmm we need to save him before he passes into the shadows...said Nesh to the girl. This lake has healing properties right? Ok fine then, we will try to cure him with that...i saw the creature heal itself just now in the deep forest, hope it doesnt comes back here...continued Nesh cautiously...

"He was being attacked by some creature here...hmm we need to save him before he passes into the shadows. This lake has healing properties right? Ok fine then, we will try to cure him with that. I saw the creature heal itself just now in the deep forest, hope it doesn't come back here." He said.
"I have some powers in healing." She said. "Let me see if I can cure his wounds." She added. She sat her bag on the ground and held her hands over his wounds. She closed her eyes and chanted
"Tella Argona Nortata Na ta ta. Tella Argona Nortata Na ta ta." She moved her hands and only faint scratches were healed. "This is to much for my powers. We most head towards the Lake Aelin. What weapons to you wield?" She asked.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 26, 2007 04:33 AM (GMT)
Not to worry, i hold some powerful weapons with me, said Nesh as he swung his mirror like kite shield. All right, we shall bring this man to the lake, continued Nesh as he carried the man and walked towards the lake. It was then they heard a roar from a distant location. I think the cerebus seeks revenge, quickly, said Nesh as he hurriedly put the man on the ground right beside the lake.
Tyrant Cecelia - March 26, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
(OOC, wow, we got to the lake awfully fast!)
Cecelia ran to the lake and filled her bottle up with the healing waters. She then ran back to the man and gently poured the water over his wounds. She chanted her little spell once more and waited to see if the man would be revived.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 27, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
[ooc: Well if you read carefully we are beside the lake all the time...lol]
The man looked as good as dead. No words, not even the sound of his breath echoed from him. But a distant sound was seem to be growing unevenly. It sounded more like a roar of a revengeful beast. Nesh drew out his katana and looked around cautiously. Be careful now said Nesh to cecelia. Out of the dark woods, came out two enormously frightening three headed cerebus. I guess its one for each of us joked Nesh as he tactically approached the beasts from the sides...
Tyrant Cecelia - March 27, 2007 05:25 PM (GMT)
(Uh, snizzlechips, sorry let me go see if I can get that post deleted. Oops! *Walks away embarrassed.)
Cecelia looked at Nesh and shook her head. It appeared the man was dead and would forever be that way. Cecelia capped her bottle and put it in her bag. At that moment a a loud unidentifying sound echoed throughout the forest grounds.
"Be careful now." Nesh advised to Cecelia.
Cecelia pulled a strand of her black hair away from her face and tucked it behind her ear. Glancing back and forth and different openings in the woods. The woods seemed as though it grew quiet, no birds were chirping the wind had stopped and the water on the lake seemed as though it too froze. Just then, two large three headed dogs appeared out from the tree's and in front of them, huffing and puffing and drooling rather disgustingly.
Cecelia's eyed bugged out. She pulled her sword out from her belt and gripped it closely to her face. She looked over at the man she had just met, Nesh, and he replied . . .
"Guess its one for each of us."
Disappearing into the brush he snuck up to the side of the Cerberus and struck it. Cecelia stood were she was and waited for her little puppy dogs to come towards her. The middle head leaned it's head towards the ground showed his sharp, yet white, teeth. Cecelia gripped her sword tighter, finally the last head down the row lunged at her feet. She flipped backwards and landed onto her right knee, picking herself up she ran towards the dog and ran up the middle dogs head.

(ooc: haha...its ok...chill)
Nesh knew something was wrong. He had just realized something, rather fishy. The lake Aelin and the woods around it were never home to the Cerebus. Cecelia was engulfed into her fight with the Cerebus. The other Cerebus came pounding directly towards Nesh. But Nesh looked upwards into the golden sky with deep thoughts circulating in his head. This is a planned attack uttered Nesh silently. By now the other Cerebus had pounced into the air about to land directly on him. Nesh looked up at the Cerebus cooly and then took a step behind. And so the Cerebus fell directly infront him. He drew out his Katana, to hell you banish he exclaimed as he sliced the three heads of the Cerebus in a single blow. But all these time, he was very calm without giving any attention to the attacking Cerebus. For he was wary of something else, or rather someone else who had sent these Cerebus to attack them. He turned to face Cecelia and by now she was also standing beside him. On the bloodied floor beside her, was the other Cerebus, dead...
Tyrant Cecelia - March 28, 2007 02:27 PM (GMT)
"I really hope there aren't any more of those out here." Cecelia said walking up to Nesh covered in Cerberus blood and drool. She took out a cloth from her bag and wiped her face off, pulling long stretchy spit off of her face she made a disgusted look. Nesh seemed to not be caring about hat she had said. She leaned over and looked at him who was also as bad looking as her.
"Uh, what are you staring at? She asked afraid.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 29, 2007 05:58 AM (GMT)
Not staring...thinking said Nesh without looking into Cecelia but looking ahead. The place had turned so silent that he could hear the rustle of the leaves that were moving in the command of the cool breeze. He was standing very close to the lake. But infront of him was the dark wood from which those cerebus appeared from. Suddenly mist started to cover the entire woody area. The mist was unusual for it was black and thick, like smoke. But it felt very cold. He could hear the sound of the twigs freezing as the temperature fell drastically. Then at the right far end a robed man appeared. He was in black robes and was carrying a staff. As Nesh's attention was fixated on that unusual man, a huge black dragon jumped towards him. The dragon knocked on him and both Nesh and the Dragon fell deep into the lake. Nesh was struggling to release himself from the dragon. He was trying very hard but his hands were held by the dragon's mighty claws and Nesh could not even use his magic or weapons. The dragon was pulling Nesh deeper and farther into the lake. The dragon was bringing Nesh somewhere. Suddenly the black dragon shot up out of the water with Nesh. It landed on a piece of dead land. By now he was far away from the land of Aelin. Only then he realized this could be a detour to bring him far away from Cecelia. The man in black robes could have done something fatal to Cecelia by now. Nesh realized he needed to fight this dragon before he could reach here. But then he did not know what had happened there, between Cecelia and the man...
(ooc: a lil twist to da story...)
Tyrant Cecelia - March 30, 2007 01:49 PM (GMT)
(OOC, Wow, that was all so . . . sudden:lol: )
"Not staring...thinking" Nesh replied. Cecelia made a silent "Ah." Just then without any warning a man dressed in black came out of the woods. He had a pet dragon with him that lunged at Nesh and took him far away from Cecelia.
The man pulled out two broadswords hidden from underneath his cloak.
"Leave this place. Leave this place or Die." He sadi to her. Cecelia eyed the man and pulled out her sword and gripped it tightly to her face. Walking around each other awaiting the first strike the man swung his swords and crashed them down onto Cecelia, fortunately she blocked it. The power of the man was the much for her hand he pushed his swords hard on her one. She began to fall to her knees, he was to strong for her to push off. She could feel the sword almost breaking in half. She glanced down at the mans feet which weren't placed firmly on the ground. Kicking him in the back of the leg it gave her enough time to roll out of the way of his swords.
She looked over to Lake Aelin and saw Nesh on the other side battling the man's Dragon.
Nesh Psion Spartan - March 31, 2007 05:57 AM (GMT)
Nesh was trying to fight off the dragon that was viciously striking at him. Nesh knew too well that his katana will be useless against the enormous beast. The dragon then stopped fighting and stood straight up. Nesh looked upon it with suspicion. Now what are you up to? he asked. The dragon then stepped backwards and Nesh thought it was all over until it sprang back to give a huge blow and a fireball shot up from its mouth. Nesh ducked just in time escape from the flames. Nesh smiled at the dragon and said haha you reminded me of fire and gave me an hint that i could use my fire weapon. He then dodged the dragon as it blew another fireball out. He rolled below the dragon and faced its back. He immediately used the blood of hellfire spell. Instantly fire engulfed his whole body and now Nesh too could breath hellfire. He then jumped on top of the dragon and blew fire on the dragon's eyes making it blind. Nesh took this opportunity to use his magnificient shield to smack the dragon's head. The dragon was roaring in pain. Nesh then drew his katana and slashed the dragon's neck. The head of the dragon fell to the ground. Nesh was almost weak by now and the effect of his fire spell was wearing off. Nesh fell to his knees in pain...
