Title: 4 Sisters Island
Description: open to the people I talked to in rp req
Musa Saphire - February 22, 2007 03:44 AM (GMT)
A long time ago their were four sisters bound together by magic. Each was blessed with the gift of an element, water, fire, earth, and air. They all met and could sense their sistership right away. But there were two men, they wanted to kill the four women they wanted their amazing power. So they created a hide out. The four woman summoned powerfull gusts of wind, tidal waves of ice blue water, great snakes of fire, and the most important, an earth quake. The broke off a small piece of the island so they could have a hide away, they won and the evil men died, the island gradually became more populated, now it holds 3,000 people who live their along with the four great-great-great, etc. grand daughters of the four witches who have the same power as their ancestors. But the men have found them again.............
Musa ran down the beach of the small island. Her feet pounded on the frozen winter sand. Her darkbrown poney tail bounced behind her. She summoned a slight gust of wind to cool her off. After her regular morning jog today she had to meet with her other three magic sisters. She had bad news. Musa could feel the precance of evil on the island. I wonder what thier going to think about this... Musa thought fowning. She turned arround in the direction of the small village and ran to the cafe/bookstore. Her tan skin glowed in the sun of the early morning. She looked arround, none of them seemed to be their yet. Ofcourse just like them to be late and me to be too early. She sat down and ordered a coffe and waited.
Dasyra Lothlorn - February 22, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
Dasyra spent her time on her island mostly alone. She was there to do one thing and to protect the thing that she cherished. Her element Earth and all that it had its beauty. Oh yes it was beautiful but though she could not take credit for it for mother nature had done her job and it was up to the The Goddess of Nature and the Guardian's to care for it. Dasyra was more like the person in the back of the crowd when it come to the meeting with the Goddess. Yes she loved her element and everything it stood for but maybe it was more that she wanted. Everyday she had written her sisters about her island and how she carried for it. Ever since the day that the evil men split them apart she hasn't stopped thinking about them. They are her sisters she would never. Everyday at about noon Dasyra would come from her cottage in the forest and stand at the shore line. Though not touching the water she would stand that and wait hoping that her sisters would come back. But no....she had recieved a letter from Musa that said."Dearest Sister Of the Element Earth....please come to my island...there is evil abrew and we must do what we can to stop it...Your Sister of the Element Air....Musa" She only nodded to this letter and would stand to wait for a time to go.
(OOC:: Hope you don't mind I wrote that letter)
Musa Saphire - February 22, 2007 04:09 AM (GMT)
Musa sat unpatiently. Musa is what one would call the leader of the group. She had sent a letter to each of her fellow sisters. Did they get it? She wondered, but she was early so it was her own fault that she had to wait. She looked arround the familiar coffe house and saw a couple new people that deffinatly sent a bad vibe. They were both males, she decided to avoid eye contact with both of them. Musa was still in her sports bra and shorts from her regular morning jog. Maybe I should have changed before I came. But this simply couldnt wait, her sisters had to know now. This was not a matter that could wait.
((I dont mind.))
Merenwen Coamenel - February 22, 2007 04:19 AM (GMT)
Merenwen had been gone from the island for a time, exploring the rest of Arda and believing that she would be safe in doing so. Recently she had felt an increase in the evils of the world and decided to return to the island and her sisters. She had no way to know if this was an evil that would come after her and her sisters but believed it would be best to return so that they would be able to work with one another if attacked.
When she arrived on the island she learned that Musa was looking for them all to meet up and she wondered if it was because of the same increase in evil that she had felt. When she got the message it said they would meet the next day at the cafe in the village. She decided to sleep out on the beach and awoke before time for the meeting. Rather then head out immediately she decided to take a swim and when she got out she realized that she was running behind schedule.
She got all of her stuff together and darted off in the direction of the village. She had only been about a mile away so it didn't take her long before she arrived. When she walked up to the cafe she was breathing a little heavily from running. She noticed that Musa was already inside but that her other sisters had not arrived yet. She was glad that she wasn't the last one to arrive but still felt bad for being late.
She entered the cafe and saw that while it wasn't empty by any means, it was not overly crowded either. She was thinking that many people had probably taken advantage of the brilliance of the day and were probably out on the beach. The air outside had been warm and the sun had been shining in all of its brilliance. In many ways she was wishing that she was still on the beach but knew that she couldn't ignore a sister when she called.
She walked up to the table where Musa was sitting and sat across from her. She ordered an iced tea as she had never been overly fond of coffee and looked up at Musa. "I am sorry that I was a little late, I'm afraid I became distracted by a morning swim. How have you been?" she asked. She didn’t think they should start in on why they were gathering until the others arrived but thought it would be nice to see how things had been going.
Dasyra Lothlorn - February 22, 2007 04:28 AM (GMT)
She was not going to question going this was something that had to be done. She could sence the evil stewing in the north and closed her eyes. Looking over her sholder she would whistle and a Gryphon came flying up over the tree tops and towards the shore where she was. A smile came from her lips. The Grypon was holding her bag with some things that she might need for what was gonna happen.~"Thank you Taeryn" She patted his head then pulled a dead wezel out of her bag and threw it up into the air at him. He grabbed it with his claws and ripped it appart eating it. Looking back at the water its like she could here all her sisters calling her at once."Taeryn....come on..."Walking over to the side of him she would slowly mount his back. The animal took flight into the sky and started over the large body of water to the Island that Musa was on.
One arriving at the island she would leap off and look around. Just stepping onto the island she closed her eyes and could feel the evil already coming. It was closer than she thought. Walking to where she senced her sisters she would walk in. Taeryn would sit outside and lower his head curling up until he was needed again. She saw Musa and Merenwen and smiled. First time she's smiled in a long time. Her face felt weird even doing it. She walked over to them and took a seat. A man came over and layed a napkin infront of her."Coffee please..." He nodded and went off to get it. She looked at the two and smiled again."Well Musa....Merenwen....I must say we have met a lot more...I feel like I don't even know you guys anymore...."
Looking around she didn't see her other sister but she did see the two men sitting at the table a ways from them. She gripped her fist under the table and closed her eyes. She wanted to assume that they were the people she had been feeling all morning but it was wrong to assume. Opening her eyes back up she would look at the two with the brightest smile."Where is our other sister?....and I thought I was always the late one."
Musa Saphire - February 22, 2007 04:36 AM (GMT)
Musa smiled as the second sister walked in. Three were here, it was the fourth, the sister of fire that was gone. But she needed to tell the girls her news as soon as possible. They needed to fix it. The wind outside blew lightly as if comforting her, telling her everything would be ok. The sun was now out and it cast a homey warm glow on the small village. She turned her attentoin back to her sisters. "Not lately. I'm good, but I assume you both know why I needed to talk to you. The legend, its happening all over again, and the two peices of the puzzle that were missing before," She said refering to the two men who had tried to take their ancestors power. "Are back." She said leaning in when she told them of the legend, not many people here on the island knew about it, and most were pure humans. They needed to work together. This time, it couldnt be just one person, it couldnt be just air, just water, just earth, or just fire. It had to be all of them.
Merenwen Coamenel - February 22, 2007 05:01 AM (GMT)
Merenwen glanced toward the door to the cafe and noticed that Dasyra had arrived. Now they only had to wait for Astra. She wondered what was keeping Astra and hoped it wasn’t that she had been found by some form of evil. Merenwen knew her sister must still be alive because there was a connection between the four of them and each would know if another died. Even so, she hoped that her sister was just running behind.
She laughed a little at Dasyra's comment about thinking she was always the one who was late but before she commented Musa had begun to speak. She spoke of the legend that lived through them and the return of the men who wished to kill them. She had known that evil was coming closer but to have it put so succinctly made her shiver a little. She lifted her tea and took a sip to dispel the chills.
She had already known the legend, though having it reiterated was good as some of the details had left her mind over the years. They had been safe for so long that she had been lax and now they would all have to prepare as this was a fight that would take the joint strength of all four of them to survive. She hoped Astra would arrive soon and that they would have at least a little more time before the men found them.
When Musa had finished talking Merenwen decided to speak. "It is as I feared then. We will need to work together if we wish to survive. It would be best if we began to work harder with our powers and it may also help if we worked some with other weapons. Hopefully Astra will arrive soon and we can get started but we need to be sure that we are always conscious of who is around us," she said. Luckily she had been working on both her weapons and spell fighting, but even so she knew that the two men would be very powerful.
William Drown - February 22, 2007 12:20 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Because there are going to be 6 people in this rp, we really have to think about the other characters before posting. Once everyone is in the rp we should make a posting order, so that people don't get left behind. The problem we have on rp sites is that the members are all around the world, for example... I'm in england, the americans are six hours behind me. By the way William Drown is going to be extreamly cunning in this rp...Mwaha))
IC:
Intro: Two weeks ago William Drown, Vampire and Leader Of The Dread Legion Guild stood before all of his followers. He was not the most powerful member, but was leader because his evil plans always seemed to be a success... He put it across to the guild that four witchs who could control an element each had been found by his hidden eyes and ears around arda. He told the Guild that he along with another member, preferably an assassin, would travel to their Island, kill them and steal their power. The guild greeted Will's idea with claps and a few cheers, power was something The Dread Legion stood for and did anything to get. It was a Drow who had taken Will's offer to come along and help kill the witchs...
William Drown sat under a huge oak tree. His back pressed against the bark of the tree, Will's face was looking up into the trees. His white silky hair seemed to blow slightly as a whisp of wind blew past him. Will's red coat was done up to his neck, he didn't feel how hot it was... Will was always cold, unless he was drinking blood. He stared into the trees and noticed a monkey. Will pointed his hand towards the monkey, which was all the way in the tree tops. Sharp long bones shot out of Will's hand and whistled through the air, the monkey screamed for about three seconds as it was impaled to the tree.
He turned to look at his companion, his name was Nafelin. Nafelin was a Drow, and a highly skilled assassin. "Nafelin, yesterday I ordered two very useless brutes to kill the witchs, they might have already tried. My plan is that the witchs kill the two men, thinking they are the men the legend speaks of. After the two men are dead, they will think the danger is over and therefore be easy targets for us." Will said with a slight smile. He needed these witchs dead. He needed their power. But Will knew to go in with fireballs blazing would be a mistake.
He paused in thought for a few moments. "They out number us, four on two..." Will commented. Another gust of wind blew through the trees. "They also have the power of the elements..." He commented again. Will thought for a few seconds, "We need to get them alone... If we can do that, then no problem, I can just use my skills with words, make each one trust me... Then you can kill her, thats a nice bow you have by the way." Will said with a small smirk, he bet that Nafelin had a sure shot.
Musa Saphire - February 22, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)
((OCC: Because I'm what one would call the leader of the post here is the order... Earth, Air, Water, Fire. Williiam, Nafelin. Sound good? If their in the same place at the same time though we may have to switch arround but this will work for now.))
IC: "We will practice sharpin our skills and our reflexes." Musa said. She took a look at one of the two men their, he had pale skin and blonde hair with blue eyes, extremely handsome and he had been watching her all morning. She had never trusted men but if these were the two men that were part of the legen, and musa suspected so because of the bad vibe they gave she stood up. "Aw hell." She muttered. Neither of them were making a move so she went to blondie who had been watching her all eaving. She walked over and smiled taking the seat next to him. She motioned for her sister of earth to come over, they would take care of blondie here, and water and fire could take care of mr. tall dark and handsom. She smiled brilliantly. "Youve been watching us for a long time, when will you make your move?" She asked. "I didnt know if you would go for a guy like me." He said smirking. Oh brother, he's good looking and from the looks of his expensive meal and clothes obviously rich, he is lying through his teeth. "People suprise you." She said.
Astra - February 22, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
((sorry it's late, like Will said it's probably different time zones))
Astra woke up, bleary eyed and the first thing she noticed was a bright sun aboe her. She'd been asleep for several hours and had overslept. The next thing she noticed was somebody poking her in the shoulder with a stick, she looked up and saw a very grumpy and slightly overweight sailor with a bad stubble glaring at her.
"get up," he growled.
For a moment Astra was confused, but then she remembered the previous day when she'd recieved a letter, but unfortunatly she'd had to stowaway on a ship to get to the island and now the owner had found her.
She got up and looked over at the sea, she spotted the island just in reach of her flight. She looked back at the sailor with a cheeky smile.
"See ya," she said and jumped off the edge.
Almost immediatly a pair of scarlet wings unfolded from her back and she soared just above the surface of the water towards the island, free. At least now she was actually doing something, and not hiding all the time anymore, but she couldn't deny feeling a little nervous.
She touched down on the beach and folded her tired wings behind her, the first thing she thought of doing was getting some breakfast, although she had absolutely no idea what time it was, and finding the other three sisters. She wandered into a small town nearby and began looking about for them, it shouldn't have taken very long seeing as she'd racognise them almost immediatly. Eventually she saw them in a small cafe. One of them was getting up and indicating one of the others to follow. Astra wandered over and gave a short greeting before sitting down.
"Sorry," she apologised "I must've overslept, do you know what time it is?"
Merenwen Coamenel - February 22, 2007 05:47 PM (GMT)
When Musa stood up to confront the men who had been staring at them Merenwen again hoped that Astra would arrive soon. She could see that Musa was calling Dasyra to help with the first man and hoped that these weren't the two men of the legend. She had some doubts about them being the same two as they were a little too blatant in watching them but she could easily be wrong. Even if these weren't the two men, they could be after the sisters for their own reasons.
As she thought of this she looked towards the door again and saw that Astra had arrived. She was relieved to see that they were all safe, at least for now. When Astra sat down beside her and asked the time Merenwen replied, "I think it's about 9:30, but we need not worry about that now. The men who want our powers have returned and we need to be prepared to fight. Those two men over their have been watching us and we need to find out why. If you could help me with the second man then the task would be much easier. If they are the two men that search for us then it will still be very difficult but we must work together."
She said this in a quiet voice and when she was done speaking she stood and moved slowly towards the second man. He was much taller then her and his hair was rich and dark. His eyes were a penetrating brown and if she hadn't felt the evil vibe off of him she may have actually been interested. She placed a bright smile on her face and said, "Is there a reason you sit and watch but haven't come to say hello?"
The man looked at her and said, "I didn't want to interrupt your conversation with your friends." He gave a broad smile and she was again hit by the fact that if he didn't have such an evil feel she would probably have given him a chance. Instead of worrying about this she said, "Well, you needn't have worried about that."
Musa Saphire - February 22, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw her fire sister walk through the door. Finally. She thought, but she was buisy at the moment. "How about a walk in the moonlight." He said to both the girls, she felt rather anoyed that he had the nerve to ask two girls at the same time but this made it easyer for her to get him alone. She turned to her earth sister and gave her a look that said: He-is-a-moron-but-you-do-what-you-have-to-do. She turned back to him and gave him her best smile and leaned over. "Sounds great." She walked away slowly and faught back the urg to shiver. Then she took her seat again by the window and sighed.
Dasyra Lothlorn - February 22, 2007 10:10 PM (GMT)
Dasyra could help but acknowlage the screech from outside. Just before she was gonna get up and go check on it Musa had called her over to the man with her. She nodded to her and stood up and walked over with her. Around strangers she wasn't much of a talkative person so she stood there looking down at the men sitting at the table. Yes they were handsome, but something didn't click right. Grabbing Musa wrist as the man asked to go on a moonlight walk she pulled her back."Musa I don't think thats a good idea besides your coffee is going to get hot..."She eyed the man at the table then closed her eyes. Doing this she could see blood dripping from a tree and stumbled back some. She caught herself before she fell onto the ground then looked out the window where she heard the screech."Musa..."She said nothing else as she looked out the window."Somethings not right..."
Musa Saphire - February 23, 2007 12:03 AM (GMT)
Musa agreed with Dasyra but what could she do? These men had a bad vibe, and the legend was repeating itself, she had to do what she had to do. "I'll go alone with him then." She said pulling away. This is a seroius problem, and if blood must be shead for it to be taken care of, let it be. She thought. She squeezed Dasyra's shoulder for comfort "It'll be ok, I know what I'm doing." Musa's green eyes were swiming with worry. But she felt confidant in her self, like her element she was swift, and light. These men to her, didnt pose much a threat. To her it looked like all the genes went to the looks, none to the brain, they wouldnt be hard to take care of.
She walked back over to the man. "I'll be able to make it, but I'm affraid my friend wont be able to." She said taking a seat across from him. He smiled an adorable little smile. Too bad I have to crush this guy like a bug. She thought to herself. "Thats ok, It'll be just me and you. 7:30 sound good?" He asked. "Perfect." He stood up to leave so Musa did the same. She held out her hand for him to shake. He took it lightly kissed it gently then left. The little bell rang when he closed the dark green door.
She could just imagine her sisters faces. "What!?"
Astra - February 23, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
Astra looked over at Merenwen as she answered her question, she nodded as if to say thanks and listened to the next part. Once she finished Astra looked over at the man she'd indicated, he seemed ordinary but Astra's touble senses were active again, and for once she wasn't ignoring them. She followed Merenwen over to his table and stood behind her with both her hands down by her side and an innoccent smile on her face.
"Is there a reason you sit and watch but haven't come to say hello?" Merenwen asked the man.
"I didn't want to interrupt your conversation with your friends." He replied innocently, putting a broad smile on his face.
Astra noticed his gaze flick between her and Merenwen briefly, Astra hung back and let Merenwen talk to him for the moment, she wasn't the sort for suttle and despite how much people tried to flirt with her she knew absolutely nothing about it.
Merenwen Coamenel - February 24, 2007 05:16 AM (GMT)
Merenwen realized that Astra was hiding behind her and realized that she was probably a little uncomfortable under the circumstances. When Merenwen had asked her to come along she hadn't been thinking about the age difference and the fact that this man may have been about her age but that put him at about seven years older then Astra. As she thought about this she realized her mistake and glanced back at her fire sister. She said to her, "If you want to go see how the others are doing, I'm just going to talk to him for a little while." She gave Astra an apologetic smile for dragging her along into this situation. She still didn't think this was one of the men from the legend and believed that she could handle him. She turned back to the man and said, "So, were you ever going to come over and say hello?"
She felt a little awkward with the situation but she made sure to hide that behind a sweet and slightly enticing smile. He gave her a grin and said, "Well, I might have but it seems you have taken care of that task for me. Since we have already gotten past the hellos maybe I could ask you to go for a walk with me to watch the sunset. We could get to know each other better and I could find out what's behind your beauty."
Merenwen heard the bell on the door ring and glanced in the direction for a moment. She saw that the other man had gone outside and figured that her other sisters' had some plan for dealing with him later. She looked back to the man in front of her and said, "That sounds like a wonderful time." He smiled at her as he stood but she could see some evil lurking in his eyes.
He stepped a little closer to her and said, "I'll pick you up here at 5:30, if that works for you." She smiled and said that would be fine. With that he leaned in and gave her a little kiss on each cheek before heading off to the door. She was shivering a little from how uncomfortable the kiss had made her but hoped that he hadn't noticed. With that thought she turned back to her sisters and hoped they wouldn't be angry at her for doing this alone. She had experience in fighting and had used many of her spells over the last couple of years so she wasn't too worried about the man but she wasn't sure her sisters would feel the same.
Musa Saphire - February 25, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
Musa got up from her chair and sighed. "Well I better get ready for tonight. She said looking down at herself. She had little make up on and had just gone for a run. "Astra, will you follow me and him and watch us incase I need some help or something? I would appreciate it, see ya guys later." Musa walked to the door and went into the sunny day. The villiage was quiet today so only a few people were walking and window shopping. Musa walked to her little yellow cottage and opened the door. Tossed her keys on the table near the door. She sighed, allot to do. She walked over to her closet and found something else to wear. A silk , of white shirt with small slits on the side, sleeve-less with black swirly patterns. And a black skirt to finish it off. She put on some make up that gave her eyes the dark and mysterous look, curled her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. Not bad. She thought. Musa looked at the clock on the wall of her living room, she was already ten minutes late, cursing she closed the door and walked quickly to the coffe shop where she had agreed to meet him. She saw him standing outside the door and smiled. Prepare to get you butt kicked. "Hey....."
Merenwen Coamenel - February 25, 2007 08:17 PM (GMT)
Merenwen watched as Musa headed out to get ready and thought that it would be a good idea for her to do the same. She would have to get permission from the owner of the inn to use a room for a short time and hoped she wouldn't have to part with too much money in order to do so. She turned to Astra and Dasyra and said, "I need to go get ready as well. If you wouldn't mind watching my back for me Dasyra, I would be grateful. I may not think these are the men from the legend but it is best to always have someone to back me up." She gave them both a smile and stepped out the door to go get ready.
When she arrived at the inn the owner wasn't in the most agreeable mood but with a little money laid out she was able to procure a room for an hour. She didn't think she would need anymore then that as she only had a few things to do to get ready. She decided that she would have to wear the dress she had made for the Valentine's Day Ball as it was the only nice outfit she had. It was a fairly simple dress, as she wasn't overly skilled at sewing and had made it by herself so she figured it would be okay. She slipped into it and smiled at how it skimmed over her body. It had a tie high on her waist and from there it flowed down to the ground. She added a small amount of makeup to make her eyes pop and headed out for the cafe.
She was running a little late but didn't think it was a big deal. The sun was just setting and they would arrive at the beach before the beauty fully took over. Besides, she wasn't doing this for fun; she was doing it to find out what this man had really wanted from her and her sisters. She saw him standing at the door and gave him a quick wave. He smiled and soon she was standing right in front of her. She looked up and said, "Sorry I'm late." She was thinking about what she hoped to learn from him and hoping that her sister was there ready to follow.
Astra - February 25, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
Astra looked over at Musa, after she'd told her to watch for any signs of disturbance, Astra's expression set and she nodded simply and watched Musa leave to prepare. She turned back to Merenwen.
"Good luck," she muttered before leaving too.
Musa wouldn't need to be ready for a while now so Astra decided to kill a little time taking a look around the island. She passed by a small corner shop and took a look inside, it was selling small jewlery and similar things that caught the light in wierd ways, Astra felt dissapointed that she didn't really have any money. She merely shrugged the idea off and wandered on.
After a while Astra returned to the cafe where Musa had arranged to meet the man and sat in a chair close to the window so that she could see what was going on, once they left she could watched them in the air using her phoenix wings. Musa was late though and Astra was bored already.
I hope Musa's going to have a better time than me, she thought.
Dasyra Lothlorn - February 25, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
Looking up at Merenwen she would nod. She wanted to know what made that awful noise outside but forgot about and looked back at her sisters."I will meet you tonight Merenwen and trust me....I won't let anything happen to you..."She nodded her head then stepped outside to the tree and saw blood dripping she just sighed and looked away.
Jumping up into the tree she would close her eyes and stay there until it was time for everyone to go out on these "dates" with these men they meet. Once Merenwen was ready and came back she sat back in the tree and waited for them to move then she would follow them. Dasyra wasn't to much oh getting to know people.
(ooc:sorry so short)
Musa Saphire - February 26, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
"Sorry I'm late." Musa tossed her hair and batted her eye lashes. "It was worth it, ready for that walk?" He smiled and held out his arm for her to take. "Lets go." She smiled and took his arm. She glanced back to make sure her fire sister was following close behind. The night glowed with glitter from the moon. They had walked a block or two and now they were on the beach, with water hitting the sand regularly like a heartbeat. Musa could hear the sound of a metal blade leaving its sheath. The man turned her arround to face him and smiled evily, sending a chill down her spine. "Too bad I have to let such beauty die." He said quietly. She put her hand on his chest where she knew his heart pumped blood to keep him alive. "You dont have to worry about me." She tilted her palm up enough to let an ice blade shoot out with enourmous force. The mad dropped his knife, the blade hitting the sand making no noise. She turned arround and let the sea sweap him away.
Astra - February 26, 2007 10:18 PM (GMT)
Astra watched as Musa left with the stranger, she waited a few moments before she got up off her chair and walked out of the door. She watched them walking down the street, she followed on foot for a while, as long as she still had the shadow of any buildings to conceal her. Once they'd passed by all of them she ducked down an alley and unfolded her scarlet phoeix wings before taking off and flying high above them, even if the man looked up he'd probably assume she was a bird from this distance.
She flew high above the beach and kept a close eye on what was going on, however it was almost hard to tell since she was so high up but it looked like they were standing there talking. Astra watched closer and saw a reflection off some form of weapon, she panicked and stared to descend until something shot out of the back of the man and he collapsed. Astra breathed a sigh of relief, she glided down gently and landed next to Musa softly on the ground.
"You okay?" She asked.
Merenwen Coamenel - February 27, 2007 04:28 AM (GMT)
The man smiled down at her and said, "It isn't a problem at all. I am just glad you accepted." On the outside she smiled but on the inside she was thinking, 'of course you are, you have some evil plan for me.' She pushed these thoughts to the back of her mind before he could figure out what she was thinking and took the arm that he offered her. It was a little awkward because he was quite a bit taller then her but she continued to play along.
The walked down to the beach and looked over the water that spread out to meet with the setting sun. The sky was alight with purples and pinks and the last of the sun was stretching across the water from the point where it hit right up to the beach. A cool breeze was blowing off the water and her dress was swirling about her feet. She breathed in the air and waited for the man to make his move. He didn't seem to be in any hurry however; instead he looked at her and said, "You look lovely this evening."
She smiled and said, "Thank you, you look quite dashing yourself." She wanted this small talk to be over with and for him just to act on his plan. It took a lot of effort for her to pretend she had no idea what was going on and she feared that if he didn't act soon she would give herself away.
As she thought about this she noticed him reaching under the cloak he was wearing. When his hand came out he was holding a dagger and he lunged towards her. If she hadn't been expecting the move she likely would have been impaled by the blade but as she had expected it she merely caught a slight graze across her shoulder. She was surprised to even be hurt that much but he had moved much quicker then she had expected. She cast her ice grip spell as she dodged and grabbed the man by the arm. He froze and she called out for Dasyra, she would need some help in handling him when he unfroze. She hoped they could get some information out of him but didn't know how strong he would be in keeping his secrets to himself.

Musa Saphire - February 27, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
((OCC: Well this would be the perfect oppritunity for your characters to appear.))
Musa looked up at her fire sister and smiled. "Sure, no problem, well one small problem, that feeling that I have in my gut that somethings wrong, didnt leave." She looked down at the dead man with an ice arrow in his heart, it hurt her to kill people. But she ignored it and turned back to Astra. "How do you think Merewen is coming along? Her guy seemed fairy persistant. But I'm sure she'll be fine. Would you like to go and find her?" She asked turning in the direction that she thought they may be in. The moon shined red from her bloodlust of killing a man......
William Drown - February 27, 2007 09:34 PM (GMT)
William Drown stood in the shadows of some palm trees, he watched as the one of the sisters stabbed his fool of an assassin right through the heart. Ha, he was such a novice. Will thought. He then looked closely at the sister, a bell seemed to ring in his mind and a small smile appeared on his lips... Musa... He thought evilly. He wanted to laugh, he wanted to start dancing on the spot. Musa, I have found you at last... He smirked and stepped out of the shadows.
Will walked onto the beach, the moon shining red. A red moon, the sign of blood. He thought. And whispered "Ghastly Armour." Will's whole body suddenly appeared to glow with a faint green light. He was wearing spirit armour, it wasn't amazingly strong, it take a few hits, but the main purpose of the armour was fear. It was made to cause such fear, that some people simply couldn't move. Will stode down the beach towards Musa. His steps getting quicker and quicker as he neared her.
Will drew his sword, the massive two handed sword now known as "Dread" Will was stronger then last time, also much more famous. Now being the leader of the Dread Legion. He whispered "Fire Blade" and his long two handed sword burst into red flames. Will knew she could see him now, moving towards her, glowing like a ghost with a sword of bright red flames. A gust of wind flew down the beach whipping Will's white hair and long red coat behind him. He looked like the devil himself.
He stopped less then ten meters away from Musa. "I have come for you!" Will said in a snarl. No need to let her know that I am one of the two hunters... Will thought. With that he raised his sword above his head and charged forwards with a amazing speed, then bringing it down with all his power. Beor Rushes Down The Mountain.
Musa Saphire - February 27, 2007 09:52 PM (GMT)
Musa saw the red. The red of blood and wrath. She recognized that red. Now he was coming at her fairly fast and with a sharp pointed object that was on fire. So, she ducked and ran. "Oh Jeez!" She ran into the ocean into the water where she knew his flame would go out. She muttered an incantation and breathed, breathed under the water that surrounded her. It was dark under the water of the night, only the blood red seaped through providing little light, but she could still hear the pounding of his boots on the sand. She thought about astra hoping he would be too wraped up thinking about her death to notice she was flying overhead. She checked her pockets for her vampire tooth earings but nothing was their. She turned arround in the water franticly. Checking the pocket once again. It must be on the beach. Crap.
Dasyra Lothlorn - February 28, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
Dasyra had been keeping watch on Mer and Musa. She knew something would come up on either side of them so she watched them. She kept her dove around Astra. Closing her eyes from sitting up in a tree she growled then jumped out the tree then took off to where Musa was. Drawing her bow from her back she would nock an arrow then quickly run up by Musa and looked at Will. She just smiled then looked towards the sea."I call upon the plants of the ocean..."
Sea weed began to wash upon the shore with the waves. She gripped her bow once again and the sea weed flew towards Will at the sound of her voice wrapping him tightly in it. She knew it wouldn't hold but it would hold long enough to get away. She knew Musa would pull away and stay so she just stood there and waited for her command. She pulled her bow back and fired an arrow at Will. The arrow flew through the air towards him but would only hit him if he didn't move. But she was sure he would."Musa lets go...."
Musa Saphire - February 28, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
Musa ran out of the water hidding behind seawead. She took Dasyra's hand and began to run in the directoin of the village. She stopped, summoned a storm in the clouds, thunder sounded, she put her palm upward in wills direction telling the storm thats where she wanted the lightning to go. She turned back arround and ran, sand under her feet to the village where, most of the humans, unknowing of magic stayed. The lights in the distance flickered madly, the ocean lightly licked her feet as she ran.
Merenwen Coamenel - February 28, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
Merenwen became a little flustered when Dasyra didn't respond to her call. It looked as if she would have to get information from this man on her own. When he unfroze she knocked him over and held her short sword against his throat. "Who sent you?" she yelled. She had been on the beach for a long time already and knew that Musa would have already headed out on her moonlit walk. She hoped to have the information before anything bad could happen but didn't know if she had much chance.
The man laughed at her and said, "You may as well kill me now, there is no way that I will ever give you the information you seek." To this her eyes flared, she was not fond of torture but if she had to she would torture him. It needed to be done quickly, she was getting the feeling that something much worse was happening. She moved the tip of her blade to the man's face and pressed it just hard enough for him to bleed.
She looked at him and again said, "Who sent you?" The problem was that she hadn't known he had a second dagger and as she stood waiting for his answer he pulled it out, rolled to the left, and lunged upwards. She managed to move her weapon into his path and he became impaled on it. She yanked the weapon back out and scowled at the fact that now she would be unable to get any information out of him. She used her control waters spell to build up a large wave that drug him deep into the water and turned to head back to the cafe. She began to run as something didn't feel right and she hoped that when she arrived she would find that all her sisters were safe.
Nafalen Sintelnor - February 28, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
Nafalen woke from his light slumber against the palm tree next to William, his Guildmaster. The vampire had apparently spoken to him, but Nafalen didn’t bother to reapond. He stood slowly, seeing one of the pair’s so-called assassins approaching with one of the sisters, Musa by name. He swung around the back of the tree before the sister could see him. Quickly scaling the large palm, Nafalen settled onto the top of the tree. The large overlapping branches weaved around each other, forming a solid base for the Weapon’s Master to sit on. It also did very well to hide him from view from down below.
He calmly pulled his powerful Razor Bow from its tube. Pressing the bow against one of the stronger branches, Nafalen used it bend to string his bow; looping the ends around the small recurve in the weapon. One his bow was strung, Nafalen calmly reached behind him, drawing an arrow from his quiver and notching it.
By this time William Drown and Musa Saphire had begun their short excange, culminating with William’s wild rush towards the powerful sister. Nafalen shook his head and rolled his eyes as she ran into the water and another sister approached, it was Dasyra Lothlorn. She sent seaweed wrappings at the Vampire Guildmaster and drew her bow. Reaching deep inside him, Nafalen called upon his inate Drow abilities and summoned a Globe of impenitrable Darkness, dropping it right over Dasyra Lothlorn just as she took aim and fired. He hopped that he had dropped the Globe in time and it caused her aim to be askew, if not it would still confuse her a bit.
As soon as the Globe materialized over Dasyra Lothlorn, Nafalen pulled back his bow string and fired into the Globe at Dasyra Lothlorn. Drawing another arrw he fired again. The speed and power of his bow, combined with his supreme Drow ability, allowed Nafalen to quickly fire off four arrows in total into the Globe. Not waiting to see whether or not they hit, Nafalen thrust his Razor Bow back into its tube and drew his two duel Drow Curved Scimitars, leaping down off the tree into the sand.
William Drown - February 28, 2007 03:54 PM (GMT)
Suddenly seaweed wrapped around Will's body. He looked at the sisters and they seemed to look back at him. Will smiled evilly, he didn't care about the seaweed... "Bat Form." He muttered quitely and in a Poof of smoke Will became a bat, the seaweed simply fell to the ground. Musa's lightning struck the sand below the bat leaving a large black hole. Will hovered as a bat for a little while and then flew back over to Nafalen, he turned back into his vampire form, pure rage showing on his face.
"Argh! It was her, that Musa girl... I had a run in with her in the past, I swore to kill her... Now I shall... It was a bit foolish of me dashing out there but I thought I would be able to finish them off, now they will regroup... Just remember they don't know about you." Will smiled. "Next time we go for stealth..." He said with a small smirk.
Will knew that they where slightly powerful, but he thought he could fight two... He stood there silent for a few moments thinking up a new plan. One popped up in Will's mind, but he new he needed to master a new spell for it to work... Will looked at Nafalen. "Looks like we are going to the village, rooftops and shadows are what we will use..." He said quitely. Anger and hate burning insidehis vampire heart.
Musa Saphire - February 28, 2007 04:00 PM (GMT)
Musa kept on running pulling Dasyra along with her, the village became closer and closer. "We must go to our seperate homes. But we wont get hurt." She gave her a quick hug then ran through the village to her little yellow cottage, a forest behind it. She opened to door to it and quickly locked it again. She ran though the living room and to the kitchen locking the back door also. She now stood not knowing quite what to do. The best thing to do, she decided was to wait. She layed down on the couch and closed her tierd eyes.......
Nafalen Sintelnor - February 28, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
Nafalen watched as Musa Saphire entered his Globe of Darkness and pulled her sister Dasyra Lothlorn out, both running out towards the village with all haste. They rushed to get away from the deadly pair, Nafalen Sintelnor and William Drown. Nafalen smiled as they ran, just as he thought, true cowards, as woman should be.
William flew up to Nafalen and materialized next to the Weapon's Master. "Argh! It was her, that Musa girl... I had a run in with her in the past, I swore to kill her... Now I shall... It was a bit foolish of me dashing out there but I thought I would be able to finish them off, now they will regroup... Just remember they don't know about you," William told him. "Next time we go for stealth..."
Nafalen flicked his wrists, turning his Curved Drow Scimitars over and sliding them into their respective sheaths. William may be his GuildMaster, but that never bothered Nafalen while in the field. Here everyone was equal. The only distinction that rank made for Naflaen was weather you were killed first or last.
"Yes, foolish," the Drow Weapon's Master said. "Come on. Lets kill them and get this over with. Their probally back in the village by now and we can not allow those two to regroup with their other sisters."
Nafalen closed his eyes and reached inside himself, finding the power he had since birth. Calling uping his innate Drow abilities Nafalen muttered, "Tiu," and rose into the air. He hovered for a minute and looked down at the vampire below him. "Keep up," he said before turning towards the village and speeding off.
Astra - February 28, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
Astra took off again, hovering slightly off the ground.
"I'll go check on Merenwen," she said before gliding off, she was therefore completely oblivious to the battle that followed.
She heard Merenwen trying to get some information out of the other 'assassin' but with no obvious luck, the man fell over dead with Merenwen's weapon traveling into his insides. Astra felt like throwing up, she hated weapons and alway used magic for fighting when she needed to.
She glided down sofly and landed next to Merenwen, giving her wings a brief flap before folding them behind her.
"You okay?" She asked "what happened?"
She didn't know that the other two had currently just had a very brief encounter with the real assassin, or that she had nearly got caught up in it.
"What do we do now?" She asked "wait for the others?"
Merenwen Coamenel - February 28, 2007 08:02 PM (GMT)
Merenwen had only run a few steps when Astra dropped down next to her. She wanted to get some answers about what had happened to the others but Astra began speaking first. Her first comments would be easy enough to answer but her last comments scared Merenwen. If she was asking if they should wait for the others then it seemed very possible that she had left their side before whatever was making her so uncomfortable had happened.
She was glad that Astra had come to help her because they should always stick in pairs of at least two when it came to fighting but she was worried about the others. She turned to her sister and said, "I'm okay, I was trying to get information out of him as to who sent him but I was unable to do so. I think something is happening to the others. We must get back to the village and if we can't find them then we may need to head out to the beach to look." With this she started off towards the cafe again expecting that Astra would come along.
When she reached the village she caught sight of Musa darting into her house. It seems she was okay and now the only sister left to find was Dasyra. Though she wanted to run to Musa's house to find out what happened she thought she would find Dasyra first. She walked down the street with her eyes darting back and forth in search of her other sister. The feeling that something was going badly for one of them had mostly dissipated, though the feeling that evil was nearby still held.
William Drown - February 28, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
Will raised an eyebrow when Nafalen called him foolish, but Will didn't comment on the matter, he had called himself foolish, so the fact that Nafalen agreed wasn't an insult of any kind. On a mission such as this the assassin's were equal. But if it was a raid on the elven city Will would of been in charge. "Come on. Lets kill them and get this over with. Their probally back in the village by now and we can not allow those two to regroup with their other sisters." Nafalen said then rose up above the groun "Keep up!" He said an zoomed off towards the village.
Will watched him and nodded his head. Nafalen was a Warlord in the Dread Legion. Will listened to the Warlord with total respect. He saw himself as only just above them, Will also thought Nafalen the better assassin, more of a creature of stealth who could aim and kill with his bow. Will saw himself better at talking and acting and then killing when their back is turned. He looked up at the moon and stars through the tree tops. Well they don't know about Nafalen... Thats one good thing.
Poof Will was a bat once more, he darted inbetween trees keeping up with Nafalen. Will found his bat form extreamly useful. He noticed the village lights, but just kept on flying into the village. Will landed on the roof a house and Poof He was back to his normal form. He scanned the village looking for any of the sisters. Will then noticed a woman with long blonde hair walking towards a little yellow cottage. He couldn't see anyone else She seems to be one of the sisters... Will thought keeping low on the roof so that he couldn't be seen. He also knew that she hadn't seen him yet and thought all the assassins were already dead. Will couldn't make his mind up, he wanted to go down and talk to her... He was rather good at talking to the ladys, infact extreamly good. That was how Will feed everynight... He has been luring and feeding on women for the last two hundred years. Will then desided to ask Nafalen what he thinks should be done. He quickly looked among the houses for a sign of the Drow.
Musa Saphire - March 1, 2007 12:03 AM (GMT)
It was comfy inside the little cottage, she had a fire going and was sleeping on her couch. Yet evil and darkness crept into her dreams like boney hands wraping themselves arround Musa. She tossed and turned, sweat, shouted in her sleep trying to ward of the horrible night mares that haunted her mind. THis caused her to shoot up, awake again in the world. She looked arround, no one else was in the house, she was alone. SHe looked out the window and saw Merewen wandering looking for her sisters, she wanted to go help but something pulled her away, she tried to walk to the door, turn the knob, but a force was pulling her away from the door, keeping her within the walls of the cozy house.
Dasyra Lothlorn - March 1, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Dasyra never looked back once her main goal at this moment was to get the hell out of there. She knew the intentions of Will and Nafalen. This scared her only a bit. Once Musa told her that they needed to go back to their homes she just sighed and shook her head. "No Musa Im not running" But before she could get it out Musa had already ran inside.
Looking up at the sky her white dove flew to her shoulder. She looked to her sholder then looked around as the dove spoke to her in only words she knew. It seems that Will and the other was not far behind her. Everything began to get smaller in her eyes and she stumbled back. She gripped her arms a bit and looked to see blood. It seems something must have nicked her arm before she ran.
She was tired of Running. She would gladly give her life for her sisters. Closing her eyes she would jump up to a roof of one of the village houses and sit down with her legs crossed. She would begin to scan the island for the head of Will and his partner in this crime.
Nafalen Sintelnor - March 1, 2007 06:03 PM (GMT)
((OOC: The sisters do not know of Nafalen's involvement yet, please read all of the posts before giving your character knowledge they do not have.))
Nafalen’s cloak billowed behind him as he picked up speed. The ground rushed away underneath him. Nafalen angled his flight towards the village that was rapidly approaching. He began his decent, flying under the horizon line so as to not be seen. He slowed his flight and came to a complete stop, hovering in the air for a moment. He had reached the village. Releasing the spell, Nafalen dropped the few feet to the ground, landing in a crouch. As luck would have it, the building he landed behind had a ladder leading to the roof. With a smile, Nafalen grasped the first rung and scaled the building, leaping over the portcullis and onto the roof. It was a depressed roof, with the sides of the slate shingles rising over the main part of the flat rooftop.
Nafalen smiled, ’Perfection at its finest,’ he thought as he crouched low. Nafalen slowly made his way along the center of the roof, staying low so as to remain inconspicuous. He quickly made the other edge of the roof, the one facing the majority of the village.
Picking his head up, Nafalen surveyed the town. He saw two women, two of the sisters; enter a house a few blocks away she also saw another perched on a rooftop across the way. Turning his head, Nafalen spotted a bat turning back into a vampire. It was William Drown. Nafalen smiled and quickly ducked back down, turning around to sit on the roof with his back against the shingles. The height of the shingles easily blocked his head from any unwelcome eyes.
With a knowing smile, Nafalen retrieved his bone-hilted dagger and cut a slit in his finger, wincing slightly. After re-sheathing the blade, Nafalen squeezed the wound to produce more blood. He knew that vampires were attuned to the scent and couldn’t resist fresh blood. Nor did Nafalen have any other way to get the Guild master’s attention.
